This place is awesome! Steve, Robert and Dave were phenomenal. They did awesome work on my 13yr old Bowtech Guardian. Was looking for a hunting bow for a newbie and found this little gem...went in looking and came out with all the stuff I would need....I really like how they stayed past closing time to show me how to shoot a bow and did not let me leave till I hit 3 🎯 in a row and they even gave me a hat among other items for free..great staff/relaxed atmosphere all around good place

Poor customer service and little patience for new archers looking to learn the sport. Extremely rude staff and pretty unkept, cramped archery range. I went elsewhere for my bow and accessories and had a much better experience. I wanted to support a local business, but was very disappointed by how this place runs its business and treats customers.

My son and I are new to bow hunting. We wanted to support a local business, learn and get a decent deal at the same time. We were able to get outfitted in two Bowtech bows that are great for hunting, lightweight, and accurate with quality accessories for a great price. Robert took time and answered all of our questions and help us feel comfortable with the product.

The guys over at Bowhunters Edge are awesome and very knowledgeable about archery. I went in to have my bow looked at and they right away found out the issue and I was back to stacking arrows. They have great prices and very nice guys. I will be going back there for all of my archery needs.

I am an amateur archery fan, and have a very old bow. My arm guard somehow got tangled in my bowstring and pulleys. I called ahead to ask if they could help. The man in the phone invited me to come so they could look at it. When I arrived, the staff welcomed me and immediately began to take a look at my problem.My compound bow is very old, however the staff took up the challenge of maintenance on the bow. He worked hard to get the arm guard untangled, and basically saved the day for me because I had plans to go to the range the following day.Another staff member then helped me sight in my bow and gave me tips about my form. Helped me understand the mechanics of my bow and also recommended a better bow for me.I was highly impressed with the level of honest care and integrity that this store’s staff offered.Thank you for your help!! I’ll be sure to come here from now on.

Serious archers looking for classes than this might be a good place for you. We were looking for youth bows that were Robin Hood style which they dont carry but it looked like a cool place to learn archery anyway.

Jon, who works there, was so kind, out of the goodness of his heart he re-feathered some Walmart arrows for my son so he could shoot them from his brand new bow accurately at no cost. He even gave my son some lessons.Everyone at this store immediately makes you feel like they know you and haven’t seen you for a little while. They are welcoming and funny.

Family owned and great place. If you own a press, draw board, hooter shooter, and post your .33” groups at 200 yards on AT you probably just need to go here to buy your bow. For the rest of us this a great place to get info, accessories and have your bow tuned. I drove 3 hrs each way today. They’re that good.

I’ve gotten two bows from this shop and I can honestly say I that they have the best customer service in town! This shop is perfect for the most novice archer to the even the most advanced. They have bows for all skill levels and are always willing to let you shoot some arrows at the targets they have set up.First thing that Robert asked me was how much I was trying to spend and he kept each bow he recommended in that price range. I never once felt pressured to buy any bow I wasn’t 100% confident shooting. They always give you their honest opinion and never try to con you in to just buying the “top of the line” product to make money.Like the previous comments stated, when you come into this shop they make you feel welcome and try to help you out in anyway possible. Also their prices are great, especially for any military folks (15% off on any new Bowtech or Diamond bow).Everyone in the shop is very knowledgeable on anything and everything archery related wether that be shooting a bow, adjusting your sights, or picking out accessories for your bow. My suggestion is come to this shop before any other on in the local area, you will not be disappointed! Will always come back here for my archery needs, keep up the great service guys!

Bought my new bow here a couple months ago and absolutely love this place. Didnt have much bow experience. But they got me set up and confident with my new bow in no time. Dont waste your time at any other archery shop. Bowhunters Edge is the best of the springs. They definitely do need an indoor shooting area though.

I cant promote these guys enough. Super friendly environment. Not a single guy there had a chip on his shoulder and they have the best customer service of any archery shop hands down. They make their recommendations and give you the reasons as to why, but dont push you into buying anything you dont need..... and they have the highest military discount that I have ever come across. Great guys and great service. They were able to get a de-laminated limb covered under warranty even though I had issues with the registration of the bow due to its age which was a huge help. Ill be back again!

Went to couple of the big name shops in COS, none came close to the kind of service I received when I walked in to Bowhunters Edge. Rob and his Dad were both awesome, great knowledge and not afraid to share that knowledge openly. Bought my first bow here and I know Ill be going back for any archery need I have in the future. Also, if youre a veteran, you cant beat the 15% discount. Hands down the best discount in town. These guys are the best!

Very Helpful and will do some important teaching when necessary. Wants you in the best gear for you...and not in the most expensive gear he can sell you. The store is a little off-putting but it is a gem for sure. Website keeps it from being 5 stars.

Excellent service and knowledge! Rob stayed at the shop tuning my bow until 7:00pm (an hour after they closed). After he tuned it I was able to broadhead tune with ease. On the second day of Antelope archery season I was able to accurately make a shot on a nice buck. Thanks again for the great service!

I am from salt lake city and my local archery shop told me it would be a 3 week waiting period for a tune and I am currently in Colorado springs for a course and looked up local archery shops and found bowhunters edge on Google. When I asked for a tune Robbie said it would be done the next afternoon! Theyre customer service is second to none and they are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I ended up buying a new rest and some arrows from their recommendation and I am extremely happy with my purchase. I cannot reccomend this archery shop enough if you are local and need any type of service this is the place to go!

This is my favorite bow shop in the Springs! The owner and his son have taken time to teach my husband and I how to shoot, and thoroughly and patiently explained the same techniques that the Olympic bow team uses! They are super warm, funny and easy to talk to

I visited Bowhunters Edge Archery recently for the first time. I had been on the lookout for a new compound bow after being away from archery hunting for a long time and read several positive reviews about this shop.. I talked with Rob there for a good while about some different bows and he showed me the Bowtech Carbon Icon. I got to shoot it a few times and knew this was the bow for me. Love it. I went there to get some accessories for my bow and they were the nicest people ever. I got their hours mixed up and thought they closed later than they did, and they happened to be closed. However the owner (i think it was the owner) opened the door and let me in. We chatted for like an hour, helped me on my form, and gave me $10 off the normal price of a quiver they had, all after hours.I feel like if more people know of this shop the better because their honesty and customer service is amazing.

I found out about Bowhunters Edge from another archery hunter earlier this year. I went in there to look around and immediately loved the environment. Rob and Steve are great people. Rob helped me set up my bow with a new drop away rest and arrows. I have never shot so well in my life! I am feeling really confident for this coming archery season. The customer service is great and I feel like family when I go in there. What else can I say? Bowhunters Edge is Awesome!

If you want a real experience I would recrommend bowhunters edge. Its a small shop but highly knowledgeable staff. They are not going to sell you on something you dont need. They listened to me and guided me in to the products of what would accomplish what I needed. They have a great selection of new and used equipment at a really great price. Plus they offer military discounts.

Im fairly new to archery, and very pleased with my bowhunters edge experience. After visiting the OTHER bow shop in town, when first looking and researching for a new bow I decided to visit bowhunters edge. Robert, John, and Steve were very patient with me, always answering my questions, all the while not making me feel inferior. For the four weeks I took deciding on which bow I wanted, I would come to their shop 4-5 times a week. Often times arriving shortly after they opened and a few times staying until they closed. They never seemed annoyed by the amount of time I spent, or by the amount of questions I had. Once I had my selection narrowed down too, two different bows, they allowed me to shoot both for what I considered a very lengthy time. I have since purchased a number of accessorys from them. Bowhunter’s edge archery is the best shop in Colorado Springs. My technician, John, was extremely helpful. I used tBass Pro Shop in the past but their technicians are NOT experienced. While another archery shop which will remain unnamed was snooty and not helpful if your equipment wasn’t purchased through them. Definitely recommend Bowhunter’s edge!!

Amazing shop, lots of knowledge went in today with absolutely no clue how to shoot or keep up a compound bow .. yet I had bought one from a guy offline so I could get into the bow seen !! they tuned the bow to fit my draw length and weight perfectly also let me throw a few arrows at the target to get a feel for it and afterwards set me up with a deal I dare a big brand store to beat on arrows shafts, broadheads, wax, and more knowledge about my bow than I could have expected to learn in the time I did !! A+ !! Repeat costumer hands down for any archery need from here on out !!

This bowshop isnt the worst Ive dealt with here in Colorado Springs. That being said, unless you own a Bowtech, dont waste your time at this shop. This place must be the Bowtech Cult Headquarters. Every time I step foot in this shop, its like every one in there is a broken record stuck on you should by a Bowtech. The entire time Rob was attempting to tune my bow(which isnt a Bowtech), he kept pointing out all the things that were, in his opinion, inferior to a Bowtech and then kept trying to put a Bowtech in my hands. I fully understand brand loyalty, but to constantly barrage your customers that they need to buy a new Bowtech is ridiculous and obnoxious. Maybe they need to spend less time worshipping Bowtech and using that time to fix up their shop.The quality of work that they do is still undetermined. I got a very rushed bow setup, but the circumstances dictated it. However, I will never know what quality of work they perform because I wont be going back here.

Went in and had Rob show me the ins and outs of setting up my hoyt. After receiving crap for service at what most would call the best known archery shop here in Colorado Springs, who charged me $65.00 for a bow setup, and 85.99 for a new rest. I took my bow in today only to find out it was all outta wack. Rest was not level, cam timing was off etc. He got me dialed in, paper tuned, cut new arrows to the proper length and suggested some broadheads. I could not be happier with the service I received. Will continue to do business with them, and tell everyone I know about their shop.

Went in with very little experience and just before closing. Had already had my mind set on a Bowtech, and while they had it in stock, Rob talked me into a different model Bowtech that he thought suited me more and one they sell for the same price. I left there 30min after closing with a wealth of info, an inflated ego, and a happy future customer. I dont think I had left the parking lot before calling my wife and telling her how much I like Rob and their shop and I wanted to give him my business. The next day I visited another shop in the Springs as Rob doesnt sell Mathews, which was the other bow I was torn between. I should add that I visited the other shop at his recommendation as he spoke highly of them. The bow shot just as smooth as the Bowtech, and being a novice, I couldnt tell much diff between the two other than they were both smooth and equally awesome. I just didnt get a fraction of the experience from them as I did from Rob, and that was the easy sell for me. I ordered a bow from Rob the next day, and I challenge anyone of all experiences to visit his shop and see if you dont leave there feeling as good as I did.

Went in search for a new Bow shop as Pellegrinos (in my opinion a 1 star rating) and just happened to find Bow Hunters Edge. As a bow hunter for over 35 years and one that used to work in a shop when PSE first started up as well as testing new mechanical broad heads when they first came out, I could not be more pleased with the service and they expertise of the staff at Bow Hunters Edge, I went in on a Saturday to have my Matthews restrung and tuned of course they can do that. I also shot the new Bow Tech Carbon ICON. All I can say is WOW. Stephen was very helpful and as I shot the bow helped me with some settings and I was sold. Cant wait to pick up my new Bow Tech and the Matthews tomorrow 2/18/17. If you are in the market for a bow, supplies etc. DONT GO ANYWHERE else. These guys are as good as it gets and reminds me of my shop in Tucson Robinsons Archery. Family owned and run with the best service and expertise around.
