The folks at Bowers constantly keep you up-to-date. They are friendly and courteous. Robert will take the time to explain the problem and whether it is a big deal or not. I would recommend these people to anybody. We have three cars and they all go there.

Brought my wifes Tahoe in for service. She has complained that the Tahoe lagged before accelerating. Bowers did the research and determined the Tahoe was operating per GM design. No cost for their time in determining this. I asked for a vehicle check and oil change anyway. The service was conducted with the oil change and the Tahoe was returned to be earlier than I had requested. These guys are great, honest and professional. I take all of my vehicles to them and have made numerous referrals as well. Every referral has told me thanks for sharing these auto mechanics with them.

The reviews for this place don’t do the service here justice. I had to tow my car in for some big problems. Instead of just fixing things and charging me, they were honest about my situation and kept great communication with me to find out a solution that worked best for me. They really do great research on your cars official documentation when something comes in and is really a mechanic for the people. While remaining professional, they do honest good work and I’ll be bringing my vehicles here from now on.

Excellent customer service and excellent work! They got my car in and changed my air blower motor! Great price and fixed it quick! I love this shop. Friendly service like it used to be. Very knowledgeable with new and old cars. They were able to do the work on my 2005 for literally half the cost of another major shop in town. They also repaired the cooling system on my classic car without a hitch. They dont try and up-sale the service being performed. Just good old fashioned integrity.

Had an over heating problem when towing and Bowers was able to identify a few issues with the vehicle and fixed them all. I am happy to say all is well when towing now. They stuck to the price quoted and delivered the vehicle when promised.

When I bought my 1999 Chevy Suburban 11 years ago. I took it to Bowers Automotive to get a diagnostics done, before purchasing it. They did a thorough job checking it out. And it turned out to be a good buy. I still drive that Suburban. And I am still taking it to Bowers Automotive for all my automotive needs.

The only mechanics I’ve met so far who have told me that my car DIDN’T have a problem!! If I could give this place six stars, I would. Honest, conscientious, caring staff who made time to speak with me, told me the truth about my vehicle, and got me on my way as soon as possible. During a country-wide road trip, I was worried my transmission was going out and stopped in for a transmission service. They told me the transmission was fine and to get it serviced when I get to my destination, and didn’t charge me a dime. While in their shop, I was highly impressed by their honesty and cost-awareness during interactions with two customers ahead of me; both customers got recommendations at different price points, including referrals to other shops better suited to their needs. I’m so glad I found Bowers, and highly recommend it to others!

Took my 2007 Tahoe in for upper and lower ball joints, tie rod ends, both CV axles and a pinion seal. These guys are very knowledgeable, and very friendly mechanics. Cant say much for the guy at the front desk, but everyone else is great. They are sure to let you know what is going on and what your car actually needs, instead of trying to just make money off of people. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing mechanic services on their vehicle!

They are very honest and great mechanics. It is great to find an auto repair shop that will tell you honestly if it is necessary to have something done or worth the money. Our car had several oil leaks and the estimate to repair was getting pretty high. They said they would not recommend putting that kind of money into it since we planned to replace it soon. They said to check my oil periodically and we would be fine. Free estimate and great advise.!

A great team of mechanics who know what they are doing, and can be trusted to ensure that they go beyond the requested service. They discovered heat exchanger damage in my 14-year old convertible that would have limited my vehicles performance later. I am fairly new to Colorado Springs, so I didnt know where to take my vehicle to get serviced. I found Bowers Automotive on the BBB website, and made an appointment. I took my vehicle in on a Monday, and got it back the following day with the necessary repairs made. They were quick and honest in servicing my vehicle, provided me with price quotes and answered all the questions I had concerning cost of the repairs done to my vehicle prior to repairs being made. I am very pleased with Bowers Automotive, and will continue to take our family vehicles to them for servicing, and I would recommend them to anybody looking for a trustworthy auto mechanic.

Hummmm, I went on a Friday to get the a/c maintenance done but the guy told me they couldnt do it because of the weather it was below 60 degrees that day. And that its best to have it done when the weather is warmer because when its cold it affects the reading or something of the a/c. It made absolutely no sense to me what so ever. Anyway we scheduled an appointment for the following Monday. Well, that was BS I drove to Meineke Car Care Center and I told them of what I was told and of course they said no the weather has nothing to do with anything. So, I had them do it and they honored the price of $99.00 that Bowers was advertising. Im a happy girl. Glad I had someone else take care of it.

In regards to Mark Pinckneys review, there was some miss communication.We didnt test drive vehicle do to it needed a starter, engine noise was an exhaust leak, We fixed starter & exhaust leak and welded up exhaust that was loose. Mark was informed that we heard Catalytic Converter rattleand didnt want to repair at that time, After the test drive Mark was told that it was not running very well, that it may need a tune since it had 73000 miles,I forgot that the catalytic converter was rattling, didnt rattle while running.The reason it ran bad is that the catalytic converter was restricted and with the exhaust leak the engine could breath.Mark did bring the vehicle back to have the catalytic converter replaced,so I dont know why he would write that review, if he didnt trust us.Mark had plenty of choices to get his Cat replaced at different shops ?---You can look at the reviews on my website and Google and see many happy different customers,Sincerely Robert Griffith

My muffler broke and was nearly dragging the ground on a Friday. Even though it was after 4 oclock, these awesome guys made the time to remove my muffler so it wouldnt come off and hurt someone. I cant recommend these gentlemen and there shop enough, very kind, and honest folks.
