After my first service with Toy Tech Im very pleased to report they did an excellent job servicing my 4Runner. They replaced two KDSS front shocks and responded to an unexpected brake problem by quickly diagnosing the cause and handling the repair most efficiently. Their prices are reasonable and they only work on Toyotas and only use Toyota part. They also found I had an uninvited four-legged guest that had been filling my cabin filter with Pinion nuts and took care of that too. Great Job!

Toy Tech is easily the best Toyota repair shop in Colorado Springs! They treat me like family, always have low prices, and regularly stay in touch with me during repairs.I came in for a transmission oil change and they actually noticed a subtle noise coming from my front left bearing. We started a repair on it. They ordered my parts same day, and has a major repair done on my vehicle finished within 24 hours. I’m grateful because they definitely saved me thousands of dollars worth or repairs.

I know its tough to find the right place to do business with anymore. After a very dishonest visit to a local competitor and hearing from several Toyota owners that Toy Tech was the only spot they trusted their vehicles with, we gave them a go.To keep it simple and clean, the competitor said there was a total of $7000 in needed suspension work.Toy Tech brought me out to the shop during the inspection and showed me every part that their competitor said I needed replaced.The only thing that even showed any wear was replaced for around $250 by Toy Tech.Its simple. If you want skilled Toyota specialists working on your Toyota family of vehicles, in a family owned business, by the family themselves, I highly recommend giving them a shot. Bad for him, good for me!I chose to have Toy Tech do the work because of their prices (I called around, they werent the cheapest and they werent the highest) but mostly because of Kyms communication. I thought I was gonna need a new fuel pump but after a day of diagnostics and looking at it, they found there was a way easier fix and CHEAPER. I took my 1997 4runner into Toy Tech to get an overall checkup to see what issues I need to deal with on my new/old truck since she does have nearly 300K miles and various leaks underneath. They worked up a comprehensive list of to-dos for me and we have steadily been working on things 1 at a time. So far I have had my gasket valves replaced and my steering rack replaced. I am set to have them do a re-seal on my oil pan next. They have done great work, been very helpful and educational every step of the way. Went in for timing belt/water pump/crank seal at ~200k on my 2003 Land Cruiser. Was best price in town between the dealer and another import auto shop so I went with them. Was very impressed with quality of work, transparency, and professionalism. Will be going back for any other maintenance/repairs that I cant do myself. For being picky with where I take my Land Cruiser, I would recommend this place to other picky Toyota owners as well.

I had an incredible experience with Kim. I took my Land Cruiser to the dealer and they tried to tell me my head gasket was cracked. Kim did a block test and some other diagnostics and quickly found out it was only a compromised radiator cap and got my Cruiser driving again.I cant be more thankful for Kim. Shes the real deal.

Great shop,I have an 87 sr5 Turbo that I wanted the engine rebuilt. I checked out several shops for the project, some very well known in the area, Toy Tech were a little more expensive.I wanted to get a bigger turbo for it since I was rebuilding, all the others had said not a problem...well turns out, it is a major problem if the engine is not built for it, ie, high performance. It would damage the new engine badly and not be covered by the warranty... Toy Tech are the only ones who told me not to because of this reason...they cared more about my satisfaction than they did money...The were very on point with the rebuild, when something like that I had a craked head I was informed immediately...Overall a great family run business, brother is a FACTORY CERTIFIED ASE Toyota mechanic...They are Toyota gurus...I reccomend them whole heartedly...I have a 05 4runner that they will be working on next...Kim is awesomeThank you for being so great with my baby...

I contacted Toy Tech to have them figure out why my check engine light was lit on my 17’ corolla. This was the 2nd time the light had come on in less than a few months.. I’d originally taken it back to the dealer to see if their service department could address the issue - after they hadn’t resolved much.. I did a google search to find a Toyota specialist! And I found em!Every interaction I had with each staff member (Kim and Matt especially) was very pleasant easy and professional. Kim found that the issue was just a Ill-fitting gas cap, replaced, rechecked and resolved! Very thankful for their expertise and professionalism, it’s hard to find a trustworthy mechanic these days! Im trying to avoid toyota dealerships but toy tech almost I dont get any exact answer...the front desk lady told me the reason i light on my dashboard.....Maybe animals chewed my wire it means they dont do any further investigation...and charges me more than 100.00 dollars just to do obd check..

We are definitely going back to get the overall service maintenance package done so we can know it is done right and all supplies and parts are top quality. I have worked with Toy Tech on two separate occasions and both times I received knowledgeable, professional service.In late 2020, Kim and her team repaired a tricky drivetrain issue on the backend of my 2008 Highlander Hybrid. The problem was difficult to diagnose and multiple repair shops were unable to solve the problem.The ToyTech team asked great questions, performed in-depth research, and fixed the problem. Six months later, I have not experienced any more problems with this drivetrain issue.Previously in 2020, the Toy Tech team performed a pre-purchase inspection on a 2006 Toyota Highlander. I walked away from the experience equipped to make a wise purchasing decision and also with clear expectations of what I should expect to spend in maintenance costs moving forward.In both cases, I received A+ service! I have good and honest mechanics near home but went 120 miles away to Toy Tech in hopes they had the expertise to diagnose and fix the problem without replacing all the parts in the 4WD system. A good job done reasonably and honestly, with excellent communication by Kim. What really set them apart was the extra attention given after advising of an upcoming long trip. Kim noticed and had them check what I had thought was tire noise - which has been significant for years and many thousands of miles. It was a rear wheel bearing getting ready to fail. Amazing that the Sequoia’s bearing held out so long, and that Kim noted, checked, and found what would have been a major problem that was missed in several other shop visits and trip preparations. Kim and Toy Tech are stellar!!!

VERY HONEST business. I took my Prius V in for a repair and Kim knew right away what the problem was. She confirmed with me the next day that her initial opinion was indeed the issue and it was fixed FREE of charge because it did not take much to fix the issue. That has NEVER happened to me! I have always been charged something for a repair by mechanics no matter how little time or effort it took. She is VERY honest and educated, its no wonder they have been in business 18 years!
