Employee and management was very rude and purposely did not take items that another location happily took. They watched myself and another person carry in large items and bags through the door, pointed us in the direction of the kiosk, and then said “we can only take two bins at a time”. I proceeded to tell them that 1) the kiosk asks how many bins/bags and allows more than two and 2) you watched two women struggle to bring in all these items AND pointed us in the direction of the kiosk all without telling us your “two bin maximum” I also proceeded to tell them that I brought 4 bins in recently and no one ever mentioned anything about two bins. The employee had a smirk on her face and continued to say “well it’s always been two bins” I asked for management (who was standing right beside her trying to not get involved and not wanting to address anything) management repeated that it’s always been two bins and then proceeded to say it’s because they are short staffed. So which is it? Have you always not taken two bins? Or are you making up rules because you’re short staffed? I returned 3 hours later and they did not take anything but maybe 5 items (I had a swing, a play mat, name brand clothing, and yes a box with random stuff in it that I didn’t go through so I couldn’t even tell you what was in it) but my stuff was too stained…and not the brands they take….oh and the woman before me that was carrying in bags as well…guess what??? Same issue with hers…coincident? Yeah I think not. The owners of this location need to invest in training staff. Btw I went to another location and almost all of my stuff was bought. Weird how that works.

Brought a whole tub of CLEAN clothes some with the tag still on them and they refused to buy any of it. This is the THIRD time they’ve done this. Don’t waste your time selling anything. Post it online you’ll make more money. Not only that but they switched up their stories on why they wouldn’t take the clothes.

Great place to GET gently used items for your kids, but trying to sell them items is never a fun experience. I realize that this is a core part of how they have items to sell, but streamlining the process would make it so much easier. It is just more convenient to donate to the local church or Salvation Army, etc.

Customer service could be better, but really good deals here and overall an efficient buying/selling process. Could be a little bit more organized, the older girl clothing sections are usually hard to shop due to so many items being crammed into one space. But I like how they have themes sections such as sports, bathing suits, coats, etc.

Years ago this place was great but it has gone downhill. I usually bring in a couple of bags of clothes and they always take maybe five of my items. The clothes I bring in are always clean, stain free, no holes, still looking new, and are neatly folded. Then they only take a few items and it is a complete wasted trip. When I looked through the store they have several items that are outdated, and have holes or stains. I’m confused. Not to mention the staff is incredibly rude. They are very short with you when speaking and never smile. They even have signs telling them to smile next to the register.

Horrible customer service and rude staff make this location a one star and from combing through the reviews I guess it wasnt just me who thinks that the employees here are not being managed properly. I overheard employees laughing at a mom who came in the store and judging her by the way she dressed. And when I made eye contact with any of the girls behind the counter they immediately looked away instead of offering a smile. No one asked me if I needed help and it seemed like the staff were irritated when another customer would come in. I will not be shopping at this location after my experience here today.

What a mess. I mean, I found things for a pretty good price, but the sizes were all over the place and it was frustrating for sure. I almost started ripping the sizes that were in the wrong section off the racks. It was that bad. Maybe Ill go again, because of the prices, but Im not sure.

Im giving this place five stars. The employees here are neither rude nor are they welcoming. They simply do not speak unless asked a question. The other people here giving one star or similar are missing the point of the store. My family and I went there for the first time today and found an abundance of clothes and items for an extremely great deal. This place is like a restaurant known for their food but not their service, which we are okay with.

Went shopping for my grandson who is wearing 2T at the moment and found some nice clothes for him while he is visiting me. The prices are pretty good for what you get and the selection was pretty good. The try to organize things via colors within the sizes and they had some nice toys as well. The shoes were not the best or plentiful for his size. The staff was not very helpful or overly kind. They were not rude, but they could have been nicer or more helpful. If you sort through you can find some really nice things. I will go back as he grows and needs more clothes. The store was clean and I went during the week so they were not really crowded or too busy.

So.. I went here to sell some clothes, toys and a stroller. I had two tubs of clothes, they looked through it took maybe ten clothing items and told me that those items were the only thing they want to buy. I had a lot of baby clothes they didn’t even go through. I completely understand not buying everything, I get it but I called before had and asked what item were acceptable and all the said was “baby clothing”. Turns out the do not actually take ALOT of baby clothing. Would have been nice to know before I wasted my time, and the time of the people that work at this location, but then again it’s not like you get great service when you go in there either. I would definitely pursue other options when trying to sell clothing! Staff was not friendly and honestly just acted like people coming in were a bother!

Its such a hit or a miss type of place. They are very particular about what they buy from you. But then there are a lot of older/worn out clothes on the racks. Finding or even looking at the shoes is a job on its own...they arent always in the proper sized buckets. Sometimes you are greeted and other times you are totally ignored. Their Customer Service could use some work.

Ridiculously rude staff. They dont even acknowledge your presence, let alone answering any questions you may have. They pay dirt prices to sellers and absolutely rip buyers off. Expecting moms - if you are second shoppers, your best bet would be FB marketplace or any of the mom groups. STAY AWAY FROM OUAC!!!

I went to sale items like I normally do and have never had an issue before. I was told 45-1 hour wait and here we are on a 2 hour wait for my items to be went through. My issue is after the 3rd time of me coming in to check on my items I wish they would have been considerate enough to let me know hey we are way backed up we are looking at about another hour or so that way I could have went and ran an errand etc. but when a customer specifys that they will wait at the store until the items are done I feel like the time that we are told should be met or close to it not an hour and 10 mins later then the hour that I already had to wait in the first place. I normally wait at the store or shop around because I don’t stay down the street from the store but the issue could have been avoided if they would have communicated or informed me that it was going to be a 2 hours and 10 minute wait that way I wasn’t just sitting around waiting. I won’t be back to this location! I had to come back and edit that we are now at 2 hours and 20 mins. Second up date it is now 3:30 and I am still here! I posted a picture of my drop off receipt with the time on it because I can definitely back my compliant up!!!!!! My last update it’s 3:35 pm and I am just now getting checked out.!

I think its a bit ridiculous to have to wait 1 hr. & 25 mins - 1 hr. & 35 mins. to sell a bassinet & a small bag if clothing (prob. 10 items). When I called last week to discuss the selling process NO ONE told me I had to wait a hr. plus. I was literally otold just come in & fill out some info. on our kiosk

Ive been shopping at Once Upon A Child for YEARS in various states but only about a year at this location. This location by far has the worst staff/employees of any I have ever been to. None of them are friendly or welcoming. The line to check out can be 5 or 6 people long with only one person at the register. Meanwhile 3-4 other employees are behind the counter working and will look up at you and go back to doing whatever they were doing.From the looks of the other reviews this is normal for this store...I wish management or corporate would recognize this is an issue for this store and make steps to make it better.

Worst customer service here, every time I shop at this location I have to wait at the counter while the employees that are sorting clothes stare at me and stare at each other to try to figure out who’s going to check out me and other people in line. Went in for the first time ever today. Employees were less then helpful, no one greeted us or acknowledge us. Mil was very rude. She actually rolled her eyes because we had a question. Wont be back and wont be sending anyone else either. Seen lots of stained up stuff too, they wanted they full price stained or not. Very disappointed in that store. Could get better stuff at the theft stores.

My favorite place to shop for Patrick. We sent less then a 100.00 and he 6 shirt 2 pair of name brand shoes and 4 pair of shorts. Plus 2 books and a fidget popper.

I love shopping here for my son, today was a different story. The girls inside seem a little overwhelmed which seems to be causing a bit of an attitude within just about each one of them. I definitely wont be recommending anyone to shop here after todays experience.

Management will allow employees to look at clothing that is not neatly folded, even though they unfold everything to inspect it. Freshly cleaned clothes that were laid flat so they weren’t all wrinkled, they refuse to even look at.

There is not much to choose from in the larger sizes. But the Smaller sizes seems to be Bursting at the seems. Everyones always busy checking in more and more products and not many people to help you check out.

So this store is okay. They need to be a little more organized, especially with clearance sales. Employees are pretty rude. You can be standing in line waiting to be checked out not even saying anything, they will literally look at you with annoyance and huff and puff because they have to check people out. Only reason I go hear is because of the prices. During a Change of season I easily spend 2k in here for my 3 kids.

Every time I go to this location and sell, they hardly ever buy anything, not only is my stuff name brand its always laundered and in great condition, the employees are usually always rude and say well your stuff is not needed or not new enough, Im like really! I think that they just buy from who they want to and judge you and if they dont like you for whatever reason, they wont buy from you. Also when you go back up there to pick up your stuff, even if you dont sell anything at all, they make you wait in the regular line, usually really long, just to give you back your stuff!!! This place has quite a large selection of gently used kids clothing and accessory items. They purchase and resell these items as well. Kind sales associates.

Use to be a very good place but I stopped going due to horrible customer service and they also want brand new items with the tags still on them for 2-5 dollars that’s insane to me.

Unclean store and untrained employees.The store wreaked of smoke and the employees did not clean the check-in kiosk between customers.My items were taken when I arrived, but I wasn’t given clear check-in instructions or an estimated wait time. I asked three separate times for a time estimate bc I was feeling uncomfortable and wanted to leave. Not only was I not given one, but a second employee rudely told me I was “supposed to have” checked in on their (dirty) kiosk. At that time, I requested my items back and left. I will be washing them before I sell elsewhere.

I would not recommend this store to anybody this store is terrible and today wasn’t the first time that I have had a bad experience here. I even had the store owner call me today telling me to stop harassing his employees. He didn’t take no accountability at all for the situation that happen with me today.He answer the phone basically asking what I wanted like my comments weren’t worth anything to him. The owner even started to get loud with me when I was speaking to him respectfully. All He was just worried about was his employees and how he thought I was harassing them. I have been to this location twice now, selling my child clothing. I had tons of name brand, good condition clothes and most of it wasn’t worn. They hardly buy anything from you. I wish I would have known they don’t accept clothes after 6pm. I live an hour & a half away. I checked their website & even called prior to coming. There was no mention of the 6pm deadline. I spent a whole day organizing all the clothes by size & brand. I had Nike, GAP, polo, old navy, all the name brands they want.As a common curtesy I respectfully ask the owner to please publish the 6pm deadline on the website. I will gladly change my review if this info is published on the website. I don’t want others to make the same mistake I did.I think this is a great store. I hate leaving a bad review, but it’s been an awful waste of time. I’ve spent 3 hours driving for something that could have taken me 2 seconds to read on the website.

I did not feel safe in this establishment at all. OKC has now required masks to be worn everywhere but I guess they’re the exception. I thought they would have a sign that mandates the new mask rule but there was not. There were many people with no masks and it is a HUGE health hazard. This really shows how the business cares for their customers and employees putting them all at risk. Masks need to be required in this store especially with selling used kids clothes. I am sad to say that I will not be coming back until I know the mask rule will be enforced because this pandemic will never end until people start taking it seriously and wear their masks!

Have not been here in a long time and now remember why. Waited an hour for them to purchase 2 items from 3 large bags of perfectly good boys clothing from a range of seasons mostly size 6-8. Did not receive a text as requested that it was done & had to wait on a staff meeting during evening business hours. Even had called ahead to find out if they were really busy & were accepting sales...

This place was awesome! They had a huge inventory of gently used items for babies and older for very affordable pricing!

It seems the more I sell merchandise the less the value. 1st time sellers are treated great. After that .... attitudes, horrible customer service. Actually received a text that they would not buy anything. Called them to find out why, they did buy some things and said that if we didnt pick up our merchandise they would put in donations box, baskets and all. Please remember we were told they didnt want anything! It seems they are trying to get over on us! Just be careful with this company.

Horrible Place. Will not be back ever again. One of the workers whom I later found out was a Manager was screaming at the top of her lungs to her phone foul language and many other things while they had a lot of customers shopping and at their registers and some waiting to be checked out. She actually talked back To one of the customers and went out of sight. This is so unprofessional and not right especially with children being present. I definitely suggest they hire new managers if they are all going to be this rude. As long as this lady is working for them I will not be back especially with my children asking me what the lady was saying was true. Poor management.

I love once upon a child! There is always so much clothes to choose from and of course great prices, especially on shoes! The toys are always a hit, this is where I will be going for half of my Christmas gifts. The staff here is wonderful as well. The only reason it’s a 4 star for me is because it can be Really unorganized at times and I do sell my clothes here, but if I bring them in bags some times they don’t even get looked at, then I get like $5, so it was a waste of a trip. And I know they don’t get looked at because when I put them in a box, and try again in a few weeks or so with more clothes, they get taken. It happens all the time. But over all I will keep selling and I will always keep buying, you can’t beat the deals!

First experience with Once Upon A Child and can’t say I’m impressed. Cute clothes for cheap but super rude employees. I’d say I’ll probably not be coming back to this location any time soon.

They have a great variety of clothes and sometimes you can get awesome items which you really need for cheap and in a great condition, for example a baby crib. I like going here if I just want to stock up for my daughter on shorts and dresses. It seems though that if there is a particular brand product like Under Armor that the price is two times to three times as much as all the other products. I think that’s a bit too much since it’s after all a second hand shirt. Still I’d recommend this place very much.

I dropped off my clothes neatly folded and received a receipt. When I received a text that my clothes were ready to pick up they had no room to store any I knew they were not going to buy any as there was a discrepancy in the amount of time they gave me the clothes would be ready. When I arrived to pick up my clothes a teenager told me to get in the line. I asked which one, as there were more than one. She stated again to get in line. I restated which one, to which she couldn’t answer. There was no single line. It was a chaotic mess of humanity. She finally decided she would just help me. After asking 3 times what my merchandise was in, I told her that I could find it. That it should have been with my receipt from checking in! She finally found my clothes and returned them to me. I wouldn’t recommend this retailer for resale of any nice clothing. They clearly don’t have a knowledgeable staff that can evaluate your clothes or toys for purchase. I would never take anything to this store for evaluation again!!!!!

Once upon a child is very unprofessional the workers are always rude and on their phones, my wife brought clothes in a couple months ago and they offered her a ridiculous amount when the clothes were all name brand and it great condition, we have Jordan’s and they were offering 10 dollars for 4 pair of Jordan’s. And I refuse to buy from there since I seen a shirt that had a dollar clearance tag from Walmart and the price they were selling it was for 4 bucks. The price they offer is crazy and would have better luck selling on Facebook or donating to a family in need !

Wonderful place to shop for babies and kids clothing for all seasons and occasions, shoes, toys, bedding, accessories, etc. Also they will buy all of those same above mentioned items from you instead of trying to practically give it away at a garage sale, they will pay you top dollar for your new or gently used items mentioned above! Highly recommended, try them out yall!!!

Lol ball on selling stuff

Ive traded and bought clothes here since they opened years ago. I never have problems finding nor trading my daughters items. However, quality clothing for boys 7 and up is much harder to come by and I always assumed they just didnt get good product worth buying. However in recent years, Ive brought in newer name brand boys clothing on a few occasions and had them turn away 90% of the items (while taking most of my daughters items??). Its confusing since the store is crammed full of girl items and in my opinion, theyd greatly benefit from expanding their selection of boys clothing for the 7 and up group.

I drive over 50 miles to shop here... I used to tell everyone with kids about this place but not any more. First the point system is a joke for how much Ive spent there and never show any points (but with the cards theyd stamp Id always fill several up a year), second their quality check has gone way down yet prices have gone up on everything. Definitely will not be back and wont refer anyone else there either.

Best deals for great gently used clothing. Ive been going to this particular location since my first daughter was a baby. Shes 8 now. Customer for life. My boyfriend has a 12 year old daughter so Ive seen Miss me jeans around her size for $25-$35. 😮

They had a really great selection of items and everything appeared clean and in good condition. I saw very few items that didn’t look new or nearly new. However, this particular location seems to overprice many of their items..several of their Carter’s items are selling for what they do brand new. I had gone to a thrift shop the day before and picked up a ton of Carter’s onesies and pants for $0.50-$1 that are all like new too, but at Once Upon A Child they were all $4 at minimum from what we saw. I also got a baby carrier at the thrift shop that was like new for $6, and this place was selling the exact same one for $12. I also found this shirt that came from Ross and still had the original price tag on it, that Once Upon A Child was selling for more than it was originally bought for! If you’re going to try and get away with that, at least remove the tags! To make it even more confusing...there were some items I found for great prices. I got two wearable blankets I know sell for $30 new based on research, for $5 each. It’s really just hit and miss and you have to be careful to make sure you’re really getting a good deal!

Only take 3 containers so make them big if your selling your items.

My 3 kids are growing like weeds and keeping them in clothes that fit cost an arm and a leg. Came here and got my kids 4 pairs of pants each for a fraction of the price anywhere else. Will definitely come back again.

Love this place I get my daughters clothes here. They are nice the sizes are easy to find and there are also great toys I get for half the price or less than half than if I were to buy them from any other store. Also lots of stuff is brand new still in original packages.

I’ve gone to this place several times to buy clothes for my kids and the prices are ok but not much below new. Went for the first time to trade in some very well cared for clothes and in slot better condition than what was on their selves, and the didn’t buy any of them. That will be the last time I go there. The kids that call themselves employees really need an attitude adjustment as well.

Selection is okay and prices are what you’d expect for kids resale. Not great, not terrible. Store is clean. Employees are apathetic and unhelpful.My big complaint is the “Rewards” program. It’s a sham. They talked me out of my phone number and gave me a card with 17 out of 20 boxes stamped (I spent $170). Four months later I went in and spent $180. The cashier informed me that I had earned 19 “points” (stamps) and that I was entitled to a 15% discount on my NEXT visit. LIKE FUN am I coming BACK to get a craptastic 15% discount after spending $350 over four months.

Why is Walmart brand clothing not accepted? If they are in great condition and you advertise accepting gently used clothes for cash then WHY? and the workers at this location.. why dont you get different jobs because you sure arent very welcoming of customers... Sadly, started over pricing used clothing... Im better off buying clothes at Carters on sale..

Was able to find a costume for my 4 month old while I was in a bind with money. Friendly workers! Great selection

It’s ok. When I bring in a bin of clothes I’ll get $20. Workers are always really apathetic bordering on unfriendly so that always feels weird when I go there to drop off or shop. But we have gotten some steals there. We bought my 10 month an adorable coat with matching hat for $4.50.

Great place for younger children. Lots of different brands and good variety all in one store. We go in and buy everything we need in one place. My daughters like to try things on in the fitting room. Glad I can go in and get my girls a pair of school shoes, church shoes and sneakers for the price of one pair at other stores, Good Winter Jacket for $10, and lots of gently used toys. Most clothes are in good condition, some even with tags on. Overall, great place to save money but last time we went to the one on the south side, shoes in boxes were all mixed sizes with girls and infant sizes and 2 sizes up or down,and lots of only one shoe...it was frustrating to find shoes. Its never been like this in the past 6 years Ive shoped there. I like their reward system. After you spend $200, you get 15% off on your next visit, which for me is every time and saves me additional $30, cant beat that:) friends say if you give them your stuff to resale you get almost nothing for it so not great about that if you are planning on making money of the stuff you dont use any more
