Really very good. My coffee was richly flavored without coming on too strong and had good body. The breakfast burrito (pictured) came with egg, cheese, and potato; egg, sausage, and cheese; or black bean, egg, and cheese. I went with the first and really enjoyed it.My wife had a egg and bagel sandwich and seemed happy with it, and my son had an egg and bacon sandwich. His came with too much egg (more than a full eggs worth), but he doesnt much like egg anyway. More for yours truly. It has a funny, almost-hipster edge to it, a little out of place in a good way from the rest of the downtown.
Once you get over your Starbucks addiction and start seeking real gourmet coffee, head over to this spot. Ambiance through the roof, tantalizing aromas and yes folks; a real espresso bar. Phenomenal.
This has always been my number one favorite coffee shop! Great workers and great coffee! I can always get my work done here in peace and tranquility.
Good place for a morning coffee if you are in the area. Downtown parking can be a bit of a pain, but get there early. Coffee was strong and a bit over powering. Food was good and enjoyable. Only down side was the homeless person who refused to leave. Not the business fault as they addressed the issue very politely and professional offering to get the individual some help. Overall will be back to give them another try and see how the next visit goes.
Black bean burrito with Mango salsa was very good. The coffee was excellent. We were very disappointed that they charge $0.50 per glass of water. They also need to deliver a tables food in at least 2 trips. We were a table of four and they seem to deliver every item as it was completed. So some of our table were finished eating by the time the last order was delivered.
A nice Downtown Coffee shop with seating areas on two levels. In addition to this, they have an outdoor seat in front and a patio. The second-floor patio offers some great views of the mountains. They have a back door that allows direct entry to the upstairs patio. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Their coffee is some of the best in town. They also have cakes and a selection of foods. I am always able to get some work down when I stop by.
Edit: Received a refund. Great customer service.Went with a friend for a light dinner and the food was just not that good. It is a coffee shop and not a restaurant, so i guess we shouldve expected that. The food was pricey but the quality was cheap, so i wouldnt recommend this place for food.
The best coffee and drink place downtown. Everyone there is so nice I just love coming her to study, work, dates the really anything. Also dont underestimate the Food!
The employees were pretty nice. We had to wait a while on our food tho. Once we got to the car we realized they did not give us our side to our side that we paid for. :( But we were charged for it.
Its ok. They have messed up a few orders, but also I get theyre so busy and overall its friendly service with perfectly fine fare. Once I got a tomato and cream cheese bagel and it was honestly pretty delicious so I was glad for the wrong order mishap😅😁
A nice place to get a cup of coffee. Good taste and nice staff plus a relaxing atmosphere makes this a good place to come in the morning with some friends.
Ive been frequently stopping by and every time the service has been quick, and the coffee good. 10/10 would recommend
I would like to find a really good local coffee shop when Im visiting. This is my place here. Besides an excellent choice of coffee and teas. Its breakfast sandwiches are outstanding. Very friendly service they have upstairs seating. This really is one of those great coffee houses that used to go to to and unwind.
Asked for cream and sugar on the side so I could try it black and add to my preference. They gave me half and half on the side and pumps of sugar in my black coffee. Didnt end up drinking it as it kinda ruined my morning. Im sure its not a bad place, but all I wanted was something basic and they couldnt get it right.
I’ve been coming to this place for years and pre COVID it was open late so I’d be there until 12am doing homework. Some night they even had live music and it was a great vibe. Sadly COVID ruined most things, but the place is still great and they always have artwork up from local artists.
This is one of our favorite go to places for coffee and breakfast burritos or bagels. The coffe is well made and the staff are very frienly and care about the work they do. They have a variety of seating in a two level establishment, so if you want to work or just chit chat, they hsve a place for you. The prices are well within most budgets so you wont have to worry about spending a fortune for a cup of coffee.
Food is just as great as the coffee, one of the best local restaurants Ive encountered.
I felt very accepted here :) the coffee designs are also beautiful. thanks :)
Just okay breakfast burrito, nothing fancy. Good vanilla latte.
We liked this place so much we came back for breakfast. The breakfast burrito was good but make sure you get the green chile salsa - mind blowing and makes the burrito next level. A little bird told me that the Irish Springs smoothie was great both times. The buzzer was my choice and I too was a repeat customer the next morning 😉. Great place to get food, coffee, and a little work done.
Amazing espresso, and very fast baristas. Food is good too.
They have delicious tiramisu. Cool little coffee shop for meet ups.
Awesome breakfast burrito and coffee! Upstairs and roof seating with art for sale on the walls. Overall hella cool place.
Havent been in a while, but has fast and friendly service.
Love the patio section outside, nice enough view of the mountains. The breakfast burrito is very tasty and the tea/coffee variety is worth trying.
My drink was very tasteless and the burrito was... not very good. But the staff was very kind and the art around the shop was also really cool. Especially the cat banana on the side
Best coffee ever, super awesome atmosphere! Love this place!
Love the place. It seems that many other people do as well.
Nice place love it every time
Nice coffee shop in a cool location. Coffee, food and alcholic drinks are served here. It is a nice cozy coffee shop.
Best white mocha Ive had in a long time! I picked up some whole beans to enjoy later that smell divine. Great coffee and friendly service, I will be back.
Good service, laid back atmosphere, great coffee, and food all for cheaper than Einstein Bagels and coffee down the street. Im not sure what brand of coffee they use but based on the atmosphere Im assuming its fair trade certified. Love this place!!
Excellent service and great price for breakfast.
Great coffee great food great drinks
Probably the best coffee Ive ever had. Also the sourdough cinnamon roll was amazing
Helpful staff and delicious coffee.
Upside, good coffee i had the dirty chai and my friend orderd the hazelnut. Downside was the miscue on the pastries, which was my fault to some degree. We orderd our coffees and also chose a few pastries, my understanding was that we asked if they could be warmed and brought up with our coffees however that didnt seem to be the case and instead they were left on the rack and had to be retrieved by my friend and eaten cold. I have been to other cafes where they ask if youd like the pastry warmed so i thought that to be case here, lesson learned.
Decided to take my daughter somewhere different. She had no idea this coffee house was nearby. We loved the coffee, muffin and scone. They have local artists displayed. We will be back.
Its always good. Been going there for years. Great Wifi
Visiting from Dallas and have to say coffee was great!!! Came here twice went once to Solar and meh not good at all. I didnt try any of the food, but saw lots of people ordering so must be good. Everyone was very friendly which was a plus for me.
Great place to meet friends and/colleagues! You can find a quiet spot to sit and talk or you can be near all the action. Whatever youre in the mood for they can make it for you!
Once again the sasauge breakfast burrito did not disappoint. White mocca was great as well.
Cold chi was okay..not alot of flavor.
The perk is one of my favorite coffee shops. The staff is wonderful and the coffee is great. The baked goods are brought in from local bakeries/shops and the atmosphere of the shop is cozy and comfortable. The music is decent as well. I always come here with my favorite person, and were quite fond of the place.
Walked from the Antlers to get some breakfast and coffee, the burritos and cinnamon rolls were awesome and of course really good coffee too. Staff was very friendly! Definitely worth the walk!
Great place to just sit down and have a coffee. They have great coffee with a wide variety of choices for drinks and foods. The staff is always kind, and its a unique setting.
Nice place, great service!
Always enjoy this spot
While practicing social distancing, the staff are still very helpful & will bring the purchased item to the customer. Enjoy some quiet time...reading or utilizing wifi...this is a quaint, lil nook downtown Colorado Springs. Drop by and grab a snickerdoodle beverage or (in-house made) muffin. No regrets. Youll see.
Looove Pikes Perk Downtown!! My life coach and I love it! We come here every Friday morning to study for my current exam, retake now, but we studied before the first test was taken too... We love the coffee! I havent had the food yet, and havent tried the happy hour stuff. I have no doubt its all amazing, but I should try it sometime! :) I absolutely love the atmosphere and love the upstairs. Such a beautiful place! I am thankful this place exists. ♡
Nice small business owned in historical part of town.
Great coffee excellent service. Wonderful local coffee shop.
BEST PLACE EVER
Yummy coffee in a cool atmosphere.
Cool place and convenient but the French press was awful. Tasted burnt and brewed in way too hot of water. Also there was a lot of standing oil in my drink.
I came here to get some work done. I heard that they bought Purple Mountain Coffee, which was suggested for me to try. I ordered a medium French Press of their dark roast. I was not disappointed. The coffee was delicious and kept me alert. I ended up getting another medium French Press of their medium roast which they batista suggested to me. I found that one to be even better than the first.I would recommend if you are looking to have a group get together or even alone. Its a relaxed atmosphere with large, open windows allowing the evening light to come in.
Good Coffee and Drinks for a low price. Lemonade was way to sweet for my liking, but was better after the ice melted. Definitely a good place to stop bye at when visiting Colorado Springs.
Great service and drinks. Had an espresso and a lemonade. Nice atmosphere for doing work or having quality time with a friend.
This coffee shop has food, coffee, mate, tea, and adult drinks. The staff is usually mostly friendly (it depends on the day and who your server/barista is), but sometimes its hard to get a good smile from any of them. It has two levels and two outside sitting areas, one upstairs and one downstairs in front. The music is usually pretty coffee house style, and its a great place for family and friends. Love this local shop, and will continue to frequent it!
Great place downtown to relax and enjoy the environment of the city! First time in and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The coffee I got was well worth the few bucks that I spent, and happy hour didnt hurt either! Super cozy place and the view of the street from upstairs is great, I definitely plan to go again!
Perfect place for a light breakfast and a coffee drink. Great coffee to give as a welcome gift for travelers.
Coffee and sweets were good, the service was fast but not friendly.
Had a great white mocha. One of the best I have ever had!
The upstairs lounge is a breath of fresh air in Downtown Springs! Quiet and quaint is exactly what I look for in a cafe and The Perk has it. Killer espresso to start your day or a nice Bloody Mary to end it. If you need a big city cafe feel with a Colorado touch then check out The Perk!
A very nice and pleasant cafe. Been here twice, and its a great meeting place for anything you need. Academics, planning, or just to hang out. The prices are what youd expect for a cafe, not exactly cheap, but everything tastes fresh so thats a plus for the price. It has two floors and patio seating both on the ground level and above. The service is fast and nice, its a pleasure to go there.
One of my all time favorite coffee shops in downtown springs. Its cozy, the classic style, and they have great drinks. The food is less amazing. Great views too.
Tiny booth that cranks out amazing coffee with an flair. Their lattes arent cheap, but theyll ruin Starbucks for you forever. Their version is acid free with absolutely no bitterness and service is exemplary. I wish I lived closer.
It was okay. I wasnt all that impressed. The atmosphere was solemn, and nobody seemed very comfortable or happy.
This place has awful hospitality. I was there this morning and they were incredibly rude and hypocritical about mask mandates. I own a local business near there and will be telling all my employees to no longer patronize this place. They go there often. No longer!
I always get a simple dark roast with low fat milk, so I cant speak to the rest of the products. The service is always great. I enjoy being greeted when I come in the door. Thanks for being a part of making Downtown Colorado Springs a great place to work.
Great service, wonderful teas and coffee with awesome breakfast tacos!
