I love this place. So many treasures to be found. I always find something cool... or learn about a new item Ive never seen before. Lots of very specific things. It makes me feel like Im at my Grandpas house. (he had two of everything)The owners are awesome. They also fully back their items for 60 days, just keep your receipt. They seem happy to swap the item out for something else if it doesnt work for you.I ended up getting a different item that was priced higher (actually 2.5X higher). Before I could say anything about the price the owner said, that was priced a long time ago, those dont go for that much anymore... -- even exchangeI had previously rated them 4 star --- I was wrong before, OEM Parts is 5 star all the way. ;)
It will be a day of grieving when this place shuts down for good. In the meantime... Oh my I NEED to go in the morning. I am certain they will have the parts I need 🙏🤠(No, do not expect them to know if they have XYZ. This is not Graybar. This is more a modern garage sale, with huge inventory. Treasures to be found by hunting. Controlled chaos. And smiles all around. Low expectations, confident high hope. 🤠
Love this place! Thank you for being here in the Springs. Youve saved my butt so many times. Whether you need shrink tubing, electronic components, PC stuff, high power fans, power supplies or high quality wires; this place has it all. Some things take a little time finding but chances are they have it.
I called with a part number to see if they had a replacement screen for my laptop. Not sure by the voice if it was a guy or girl that answered, but they could not have been more apathetic sounding and couldnt have cared less of about helping. Said they didnt have a computerized parts inventory and didnt know if they would have time to search for a part, with all of the other customers they were taking care of. Sad customer service!!
I love this place, OEM parts is the last real electronics store in the Springs and I am glad that they are still around. Whatever project your working on odds are, they have what your looking for. This place is like heaven for electronics hobbyist. They also have computer parts, like hard drives and mother boards. A+ service at a good cost.
Awesome place full of great finds, such as my new original xbox. The staff are very helpful and nice. Only complaint is that its a little dirty, but this is to be expected with a store of this nature. Overall, a great place for any electronics project.
This place has a little bit of everything electronic, and the test equipment for sale is awesome. Sort of a museum in its way. Very nice people too. Dont forget to haggle, they are more than willing.
This place is the cats meow. I came in looking for some random parts for a digital hot plate Im building; ended up spending 2 & 1/2 hours there browsing for parts, and they have everything I needed. This may sound like too long for some people, but I was in Hog Heaven. They have an incredible selection, and super low prices, but youre gonna have to dig for what youre after.OEM is an invaluable resource for any electronics hobbyist living on the front range. 10/10 would recommend
This place is heaven for electronics and who knows what else, bought a lab stereo microscope cheap! and all kinds of computer stuff also hose for my hot tub. I have been going here for 20 years, its my first stop if I need something. Best to take sometime to walk the aisles and see were stuff is at. It has the service like a auto scrap yard, they will point you in the right direction but then you start the search. They usually have it! Just got to find it. Great place.
It was such an easy going no stress experience. I had to return something and it was by far the easiest return Ive ever dealt with in my life.
Great place for all the electronics parts you could ever need. Everything from resistors, spectrum analyzers and wire to power cords and CPU coolers. Glad to have a business like this since RadioShack is done for.
This place kills! Absolutely no customer service and every damned thing you could possibly want! Its the best dirt mall for the electronics geek there is. What they lack in etiquette, they MORE than make up for in parts. This place rocks!
This place is absolutely incredible. They carry nearly any electrical component you could ever need, as well as vintage electronics & PC components. Staff is willing to offer some advice on projects.
I have been doing business with own for most of the time it has been open.Robert, dick and Josh are sharp as razors when its about electronics.I have bought and sold always get a good deal.I would and do recommend these guys before anyone else.OK when can I get my ten bucks? No really .kidding just guys
I needed a cpu fan. I walked into OEM parts and in less than 5 minutes I had the part in my hand and it cost less than $5. I just got home and installed the replacement fan and it works great!!
Please never go out of business !Thank you for being around.Ac0v
Love this place! Better than most museums.
Went to find a USB 3.0 to 2.0 header for our new PC build. Our motherboard only had 2 usb 2.0 spots. The guy at the front desk pointed us into the right isle and spot right away to look through their items. We dug through a few boxes and were able to find it !! NO store in the city had this, we checked Staples, tech for less, best buy. Our last option was order one online for $4 and wait. (We stayed up till 3am building our computer and that was the LAST thing we needed) We found exactly what we needed and it was only $1.40 😃 And! the cable works and was is perfect shape!
Had all the little niche components I needed for my microcontroller projects! No need to wait for an online order, I was able to get everything even the hard to find stuff in one run. Will be back for sure.
Service was knowledgeable and happy to help. Ill definitely be back.
If you are working on ANY type of electronics project, odds are you will find what you need here.If you are not working on a project, take a while to just roam through the store and you might find something that intrests you. Maybe you will leave with a new project.
I called one evening to check their store hours.A loud voice boomed HELLO in the most annoyed voice Ive ever heard. I then asked for their store hours and he yelled into the phone were CLOSED! I couldnt help but laugh in the guys ear and decided to disconnect the call. From the other reviews it sounds like there are plenty of parts to choose from; but you might be impaled by a trident if you choose to give them business.
The only real electronics store I know of in the springs. A lot stock and reasonable prices. ICs, components, semiconductors, and tons of refurbished gear. Plus they stock Arduinos.
Dependable, quality service. I love this store!! A+
The worst customer service i have had in my life! Walked into the door with a USMC vet to be greeted by someone who should NOT be aloud to do more than scrub toilets. It is a shame too because i had been looking for a place like this. I promise i will never walk through their doors again considering how offensive this young punk was to my war vet dad. Very rude and even more disrespectful..Stand your lazy A$$ right in the middle of the isle and go off on a US MARINE for asking politely excuse me ! You should be ashamed of yourself! No fear of us EVER visiting this store and would ask that all veterans and their families do the same.At least until this punk is shipped off to McDonalds where he belongs
If you are looking for ANY electronic part this is the place for you. As others have stated, there is no service. They more than make up for that with the greatest selection of used and new electrical/electronic parts ever. If this guy doesnt have it in stock, he likely has it in storage. The few reviews that have been written by dissatisfied customers dont grasp the OEM business model. OEM Parts resembles of a You Pull It junkyard. You dont have to actually pull the part off of some old junker but you do have to find it. The owner will usually put you on the right aisle, but the rest is up to you. If you want Radio Shack, with no real selection, overpriced Chinese crap, and a sales force whose real job is to push cell phones and toys, go there. If you want to find that special part (power supply, switch, capacitor, fan, connector, etc.) then head to OEM Parts. They probably have what you need.
The best place for electronic parts, including awesome arcane stuff.
After 13yrs of being loyal a customer. I will never be returning. Who ever the guy is with the glasses and shaved head. Hope he gets fired, I have never been treated like that. Both walking in and leaving he was rude and extremely disrespectful.
Insufficient customer service. But if you know what you need, they probably have it.Ive been a customer of OEM for 23 years. They carry a great UHF/VHF/FM yagi antenna that easily fits into small attic spaces and locked in 30 HDTV channels from a house in Northern Col. Spgs.
My 34 year old Terex quarry loader was robbed of all its copper. OEM had 85% of the things I needed to rebuild the electrical harness. Tell me one place in this retarded big box city that would even know what a in-line capacitor is... NONE! Not ken-worth or even Caterpillar, thank you Mr. Peacock for being good at what you do! Its people like Dick that should be teaching college courses and running big corporations, not the spoon fed children like I encounter at homodepo.Cheers!
This place is literally a treasure trove of electronic gadgetry from component to computer. Wire, connectors, test equipment, probes and even plug-in transformers. It is self serve, so you need a little knowledge, but if you got the time to look, its worth it.
Electronic nerds paradise: caps, diodes, resistors, transistors, ICs, sockets, tubes, pots, knobs, coils, transformers, displays, switches, wires of every length and type, etc. No one really knows whats in there. You just have to search. Maybe youll find it, maybe youll find something that you dont really need but want anyway. Most stuff is cheap although some stuff is overpriced.
Its a place full of lots of electronic, audio, computer, and other electronic parts and tools. Can be difficult to figure out where things are especially for a very specific versus general part. Main reason I go there are the prices on most stuff is very low and no waiting for shipping to buy online. But sometimes Ive left frustrated believing the obscure thing I wanted was in the store somewhere, I just couldnt locate it.
Dont buy a motherboard at this place. Bought a defective ddr3 motherboard. It was dirty, parts were messy. Go somewhere else that would treat their product well then just stacking it with the others.
Man this place has it all. You need anything they have it ! Go check it out
Always has the part you need. Sometimes a little hard to find
With enough time youll find what you need LOL
Treasures for the electronic enthusiasts
Has all and everything for building or fixing electronics and more!!
Computer part galore
Great place to go to
I love this place!
This place is a gem! I got some monitor cables dirty cheap. I mean cheap. If youre looking for computer parts this is the place.
