Not very happy with our experience here. We went in to purchase a ring, the one we found that we liked was online only. We asked the sales agent how long it would take to arrive as we had special plans and needed it within a weeks time. The sales agent told us that if we ordered it and had it shipped to the store directly than we would get free expedite shipping and it would be here within 4 days. So we had him order it for us, once we got the tracking number, the order is saying its not due to arrive until 15 days later. I contacted the store and they told me that once the order is placed there is nothing they can do. We are now on day 13 and still no ring. My boyfriend called to talk to the manager, who said they had to call him back. He missed the call and tried to return the managers call who did not answer the phone for the rest of the day no matter how many times he tried to call.This is not OK, you should not lie to your customers just to make a sale. We should not have to chase down a manager for customer satisfaction issues. I have worked with Kay jewelers in another state and they were awesome, this location however... not a good experience!

My wife and I went to the Citadel Mall where there are several jewlers to shop at. We went to all of them but ultimately found exactly what we were looking for(ring Enhancer) at Kay Jewlers. The sales person Kim was very helpful in helping my wife find the perfect Enhancer for her ring. Overall we had an amazing time there and walked away with huge smiles on our faces. My wife was so happy and that makes me happy! Thank you KIM.

When I shop, I always wait for my fav associate, Veronica. Ive been working with Veronica and have been shopping at this location for about 12-15 years. I am always happy with my visit and happy with my purchases when I work with Veronica. Not to say other associates arent good, as I have worked with some others, but by far my happiest and most satisfying experiences are when I work with Veronica. I have never been disappointed, even when its a quick trip to get my jewelry inspected and cleaned, or like this past Friday, just a simple question. I definitely recommend and will definitely return for all my bling needs.

I cant beleive how tremendously helpful and patient their staff was. Tryst me, I went in with a headache of a problem and took up over an hour of several peoples time. Not once did they make me feel rushed or as if I was bothering them. They werent earning a commission off of me and still took care of my every need. I am going to be a lifetime loyal customer. Customer Service is horribly slow, went to pick up my wife’s necklace that had been repaired and waited in line for 30 mins while 1 associate helped customers and the other employees doing absolutely NOTHING. Waited in line for 30 mins to pick up a necklace before work and had to leave because I had to go to work. Now I better plan on having an abundance of time to come back for a pick up...????.... Ridiculous

The lady who inspected my wife’s ring clearly didn’t want to help us at all. Not only did she also damage the ring, and now were obviously bringing it back to another location, but she also then spent five minutes trying to guilt us into buying something for charity, when she was incredibly rude and short with us the entire time, why would I want to buy anything from her? I frequently browse jewelry for my wife, but would never even look here again. Never had such a bad experience with a jeweler.

Terrible service. The only tentative attention they give is when you are about to purchase but once the purchase has been made, service goes extremely down. I will probably never come to this location again. Purchased earrings on 11.30.20 and they arrived on 12.01.20. Didn’t get an email of delivery as I was told. They didn’t call me to tell me it arrived. Instead I had to call 12.8.20 for them to confirm. Had 2 necklaces delivered to Texas. Was told it would arrive on a specific day, had someone in Texas waiting all day for them to tell me it didn’t get shipped after all.I called the day it was initially supposed to be delivered to get a heads up if it indeed would be delivered that day and no associate could help. Manager was suppose to call me back and didn’t. Just terrible. Glad I didn’t spend a lot of money on these items or I would of been more upset. Almost purchased more at that store but gut instincts told me not to spend more and check the service prior to big purchases with this jeweler. My go to jewelers are Gordon’s and Zales and unfortunately Gordon’s is miles away :( and Zales I walked past them! :(

Let me just say my finace and I have had nothing but a fantastic experience at this store! If you are considering taking advantage of Kays customization process, Jeremy is your go to guy! We are beyond pleased with how phenomenal my custom wedding bands turned out! Not only was it completed within a reasonable amount of time, but they were able to capture our vision and turn it into a reality! Jeremy took the time to listen to what we wanted and ensured that he was able to honor the budget we had to work with... He was even more than willing to submit some last minute changes I had to the custom piece, no questions asked!I also purchased my fiances wedding ring here from Veronica. She is a wonderful woman who knows her stuff and she is not pushy whatsoever! I definitely recommend coming here!

I don’t normally leave detailed reviews but when I experience true genuine excellent customer service, I have to recognize this store for just that. When I went into Kay’s today, I really just wanted to trade in my jewelry and get 2 nice things for myself. Well, due to Veronica and Brenda’s superior salesmanship, knowledge of products and just GENUINE personalities, I ended up buying way more than I expected to BUT it was all WORTH it. Veronica truly listened to what I was looking for and went above and beyond to ensure I left satisfied. Neither one of them were pushy. They showed me what I asked for and provided other options as well. They both knew their products and obviously knew their client. I’m glad I stopped in today and the $4, 500 I spent today was because of their genuine personalities, knowledge of their products and expertise. Thanks again ladies! I’m already getting complements on ALL my merchandise!If you want to be treated with respect and receive fair and reasonable prices for quality merchandise then stop into this Kay’s location.

Ashia greeted us and started working with us as soon as we were walking in she related to us on a more personal level and made us feel comfortable and like we wanted to continue searching. She listened to what we wanted and if she wasn’t sure she made a point to look around or ask if there was anything similar to what we were looking for. She stayed with us the whole time, from the moment we stepped in and until we left the store. Jeremy came up and assisted us further and helped us to find the perfect ring and gave us a great deal. Mollie came in to help with the last of our decision process and help answer any last questions. Everyone was very helpful and informative and helped us get the perfect ring!

I don’t usually take the time to leave a review but Mollie gave my girlfriend and I am absolute, top notch experience. We had been to several jewelry stores throughout the week, not only was her customer service absolutely perfect whereas she was not over bearing in trying to force us to make a decision right then but also her knowledge of each jewel and each piece she showed was more than I had ever experienced. We know exactly where we will go for this occasion and all future occasions as well. And we will definitely go to Mollie every time! 5 stars for Mollie!

I had purchased a beautiful topaz, diamond & chocolate diamond ring at another very well known jeweler in Colorado Springs and noticed a loose stone. I took it back for this to be fixed and they told me it would be hundreds of dollars to repair. Needing a second opinion I checked with Kay Jewelers who repaired it for a quarter or less the cost. Im so happy with the results and salesperson Veronica for helping me. I had bought this ring at Luisa Graff and they wanted to charge me $400-$700. No way!

I love Kays. I would have to say that a majority of my jewelry comes from here. They have great service, a great warranty program, very good trade up program, and the staff is always very knowledgeable and friendly. I know they are all sales people, but... theres not a lot of pushing to buy things you dont want. Of course they try, but its not so pushy that you feel like youre being taken advantage of. Always a good experience here! You should definitely give them a try if youre looking for anything at all.

We were there so we decided to get our rings cleaned. We walked and and told the young woman working that we wanted our rings cleaned. Her reply, “ok, and we do accept tips”. I couldn’t believe that crass response. I have never been asked for a tip for getting my ring cleaned that is part of the service that comes along with the purchase of a very very expensive diamond ring. She didn’t even take the time to verify my certified diamond that it was my ring. We had to ask to see the serial number that is not how it’s supposed to be. It really felt like she was more worried about getting a couple of bucks in tips than doing her job correctly. Want a tip? Do a good job.

Audrey is the rudest person I have ever talked to. I bought an overpriced ring at Christmas and also bought the extended warranty and was told that there was a one time sizing free of charge, and also a one time replacement and refurbishing if the ring was scratched or damaged. When I sent my girlfriend in to get the ring sized they still charged her even though I had already paid for the extended warranty. I even called in advance to make sure everything was fine and there was no cost. I called after hearing about the charge and asked to speak to a manager. When I asked why she was charged Audrey then told me that she will refund the money to my girlfriend and that my warranty I purchased would be used up and we would have to purchase another one if we needed anything else. I asked her why it was explained to me differently when I purchased it and she that the guy lied and that was not her problem. When all I was said and done I said thanks for explaining it and she said yup ans hung up on me!!! My family and I have bought numerous pieces of jewelry there and will never again. I see from the reviews that I am not the only one who feels this crappy place deserves a one star.

Worst customer service Ive had. The sales rep was great but the manager was terrible. We bought a $500 watch and had it sized in the store. About a week later, one of the pins that they adjusted fell out. We brought the watch in to get the pin replaced and they sent it off to get it fixed. A few weeks go by and we get a phone call saying that it is fixed and ready to be picked up and that it will cost us $50. I go to pick it up and explain to the manager that it was the pin that they had adjusted and broke. She admitted that it was their fault, but because we didnt purchase the $130 warranty, it wasnt covered. She then went on to say that we were called to approve the charge a week prior. I checked our phone statement and no such call ever took place. I went on to tell the manager that we had spent around $10k at Kay over the last few years, most of it at that particular store and that if they didnt make it right, then we would never spend a dime at another Kay again. She said oh well, you can call customer service. I didnt get the womans name, but the sales rep called her the repair manager. I did call customer service, which is run by Kays parent company. They were great and called the store to tell them that they must refund my money and that the $50 will come out of that particular stores funds. I still have to go back to the store tomorrow to get the refund, hopefully it will be a more pleasant experience.

I was getting a ring fix. The virus shut down happened they original quoted me at 150 for the fix. And now upon pick Im told its 250 for the fix. These people will lie to you dont bring your jewelry here to get it fixed it takes to long and they over charge.

Kay Jewelers, every kiss begins with Kay, not this Kay Jewelers. When I told the jeweler what type of ring I was looking for she immediately gave me an IPad to fill out an application for opening a credit line. I wasn’t even showed a ring yet! She rushed me through the application, She didn’t even want me looking at the agreement! She check boxed the agreement and went to the next page. After being declined for credit. She said “oh too bad not today, but I’ll sell this ring to you for $1500.” She didn’t walk me around the store and show me different options. Definitely didn’t have my interest in mind, she just wanted a quick sale. I took my business to Helzberg diamonds and bought a beautiful engagement ring for my fiancé. They’re customer service was beyond what to expect from a jeweler.

Stopped by to check out their selection of 1 ct studs. I noticed they were busy with most of their staff busy with a customer. Oh wait but then Kim came out from the back with her clipboard or whatever she was carrying and instead of greeting me, looked me up and down and proceeded to go toward the front of store to greet another customer that just walked in. I did note the customer she decided to greet was the same nationality? Maybe? Anyways Kim not a good idea to judge a book by its cover. I don’t need to wear certain clothes to show I have money. Silly Kim Thanks Jeremy for trying to rectify the situation when I called in but taste is already in my mouth. Guess I should have read reviews. I went in to look at their LeVian collection and to check out some watches for me husband. I was greeted by the manger Jeremy asked what I was looking for I told him he showed me a couple of rings and asked if I wanted to set up a profile, I asked well what is that .He said its just a profile so that we know what you were looking at in case you dont buy today so I said sure . Well as I was doing this (what I thought was just a profile ) we kept talking and he then asked if I wanted to open an account with them I said I heard its a hard hit on your credit,to which his response was well are you planning on buying a house tomorrow. I was like no but thats why I am hesitant on opening an account . Well need less to say he was actually having me fill out a credit application . ( I still didnt think about it ) untill I got an email stating that I had opened a new account . I was confused so I went back to Jeremy and asked if he had ran my credit he said yes like it was nothing. I told him I didnt want a credit card from you I was just shopping around at this time. He went on to tell me well I thought you wanted a card I said no I told you I didnt so he then pulled out a brochure and was like well this is what you applied for. I again said I didnt want it because I was not looking to purchase anything from them that day . He said well Im sorry I thought you knew what you were filling out . I said I thought I was filling out a profile he was like no it was an application I reminded him of what he told me and he just looked at me and said well sorry now I fell bad . Which is BS because he came and reminded me that if I used my credit before close of that day I would get the extre 23% for opening an account. I do blame myself for talking to him instead of paying attention to what I was filling out but I do fill tricked me into filling it out even after I said I didnt want a card. The really messed up thing about all of this is I work at a kiosk right in front of his store so he knows who I am and he also knows my husband who is in the Jewelry business as well .Please dont be like me and pay attention to what you are filling out instead of talking to the sales person. Because of me not doing so I now have a negative mark on my credit which will be there for 2 years(which really suck because I have been trying to bring my credit up and last month I just had my last hard mark removed and my credit went up now I have this a card I will never use because I fell as if I was taken advantage of and do not feel comfortable.

Dennis never pressured me to go outside of the price range I shared, and he was always incredibly responsive. Came nov 10th with our kids and were pressured into sighing up for kay credit.We told them we were just looking since we had 2 young kids with us, they said it would be 5 min, it was almost an hour.Kids freaked out. We left.Nov 17th, we figured since they made us give them all of our bank info, we mine as qell go here for our ring. I got a solirate for 1400. After you buy it they take a picutre and get close, and my diamond looked yello and had tones of spots.She also failed to mention quiet a few things until AFTER we bought the ring.Also in between each transactions with us the one girl would go gossip right in front of us about something she was ups et about.THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE COULD HAVE BEEN MUCH BETTER SOMEWHERE ELSE...

The people here only care about commission. Before qualifying for credit they were very lethargic to help me. After qualifying multiple people were literally running to find the most expensive rings instead of what I wanted.Recently my wife went in for help because he ring was tight. They gave her advice to cut it off and bring it in to make it bigger. Now they are charging for the fix. Then they said that she would need a new ring because it would warp when they fix it. That wasnt a problem when the advice was first given.

Went and got a necklace for my girlfriend. I got the one I wanted but felt like the sales men who sold it to me tried to hustle me. I went back the next day to find out why I didnt get the warranty I thought I was going to get and told him i wanted or no go. I asked for my money back or for what I was made to assume I was getting. After almost an hour of waiting and talking with them just to give me my money back they finely gave me the warranty. But idk was in the mall a week after or so and felt just a bad vibe walking by and felt the guy who sold it to me originally stalked me down the corridor of the mall. But who knows but thats why I give them 1 stars

If you want your ring back in a timely manner, this is not the place to take it. My fiance and I were visiting Colorado for 5 days (we are from North Dakota) and he proposed the first day we were there. We thought it would be quicker to get it resized in Colorado and sent to North Dakota because we were told it takes the same amount of time to send the ring off to be resized and that it would only take one day to overnight it back to North Dakota. Cool, Ill only have to wait a week after I get home to get my ring. That was not the case. We got an email the next thursday saying that the ring was ready to be picked up in colorado and we were super excited because it was even a day early. We called the store to make sure it had actually gotten there and were told it would be sent off and arrive the next day. Sunday comes and we call again asking where the ring was. They apologized, said they got it on a non shipping day (apparently thursday, friday, and saturday were all non shipping days?), and that they would send it out monday and it would be here tuesday. So today is wednesday and we called again. THEY STILL HAVENT SHIPPED IT OUT. Its been so frustrating so definitely would not recommend getting a ring resized here unless you want it to sit in their store for a week and be lied to on the phone about where it is. I talked to the manager again today and got the shipping number and its supposedly going to be shipped today and overnighted. Well see if I have the ring tomorrow.

I bought a new promise ring, size 6.5, needed it sent out and sized to a 6. 17 days later no call or anything. It was due back yesterday and I hadnt received a call saying if it was in or not. I just called the store and they said they sent an email regarding it. I checked all of my folders and its not there. They said they dont call anymore which I feel is very informal especially since I spent $600 on the ring. Im not pleased at all...

Although I’ve had the worst experience with the company that took over the kay jewelers credit card, When I came into this location the young man working tried his hardest to make sure we left happy. He was very helpful even when I was being alittle rude from being upset about the credit card company. I honesty like the customer service here better than chapel hills location.

This place is a joke! And the bank they use! My husband and I decided to buy three rings (my engagement ring, wedding band, and his wedding band) and we put it on their credit card they offered. 36 month note, and told us we could pay it off anytime without any additional fees. Husband and I decided Ok cool. We can do that. We bought them in December of 2017, paid them off in October of 2018. We sold one of our cars so we could do that. January of 2019, they said we had one more payment to make as it was accrued interest, whatever, my husband paid it and everyhing was settled. We thought it ended there. Haha, boy were we wrong. Here we are, June 26, 2019. My husband gets a call from collections. Kay Jewelers, how do you fix someones credit after doing that? 150 bucks? Seriously? I would trust a homeless guy with rings that turn your finger green before I ever will trust Kays again.

By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. We brought my fiancé’s ring in back in Early March to be resized. We were informed by the manager that of couldn’t be resized and would have to send that ring out to receive the new one. No big deal, so I asked if we could purchase the new warranty on the new ring before it arrived. They allowed me to, and said they would contact us when the new ring arrived.We never heard back so in April I call after several attempts(no one ever answers the phone) and am told ot arrived and someone should have told us. So I go to pick up the ring then that weekend. When I get there I am told I can’t have the ring unless I exchange the old one. I explained they already took the old one, which is why I only have the paperwork from every transaction. I also explain I even purchased the warranty earlier.At that time, the manager who was the same person that originally helped me tells me that’s impossible and that he won’t allow for me to receive the new ring. He then tells me the warranty I paid for is also only a store credit. After going back and forth about the ring for almost 40 minutes he tells me I can rebuy my new ring, file with corporate, or I’m out of luck. So we open a claim with cooperate. When my fiancé calls them about it, the operator was rude and unprofessional.With that in mind, we got a call back this week asking if the ring was located. We again tell them we never had it that it was taken upon the original transaction. The manager then states we can have a gift card for some of the purchase. At this point we decided we rather have a full refund and not deal with the company anymore due to what led up to this. We were told we could only do the gift card.We have purchased tons of jewelry through Kay’s and have never had an issue until now.

Went in to get a new wedd8ng band set for my wife to give to her for our 20 year anniversary. Found what i wanted. Gave the lady my kays card and insteqd of just using my card she calls the company and all of a sudden my card cannot be used no more. So she comes then persists on me running my credit again. when u called the bank and they said that they were called to run my credit for an increase on the card. This is why my card was shur completely off. Now never wanted an increase because dam already had a 6 thousand dollar limit on it. but they shut my card off because of a credit increase request.definately some bs because credit score is 48 points higher than when i originally got the card. So they ran my credit without pernission. I read their paperwork i got when i got the card to begin with. Nothing in the papers says anything about running your credit when they review your account. Review account and run credit are 2 completely different things. i will not go back to Kays ever again. I will stick with Zales only place i can trust on what they day and do.

We bought some jewelry there a couple years ago and decided to come back when we were looking for wedding rings. When we arrived and started looking at the engagement and wedding rings we were approached and they didnt even bother to ask our names before pressuring me to open an account. My fiancée already had one but after them saying we couldnt view anything without getting an estimate I decided to do one. They said they were running my credit but instead they opened a new account for me. When I was approved for a large amount the original man passed us off to a VERY pushy woman. She pushed lots of stuff I hated but cost a lot. She kept telling me the price didnt matter but how great the sale was. When we said we were leaving she told me she would put the ring I said I liked in for sizing. I said no, I never said I was buying it. She said if I changed my mind and decided not to buy it I could return it later. I again said no and she insisted on putting in the sale. I bluntly said no, I do not want you to and we left. I was so mad and uncomfortable that I will never return. We went to Zales and not only were their rings prettier, but the people there were kind and patient not pushy. NEVER going there again and will be contacting someone to close the account I was never told they were opening.

I went in to get info on a engagement ring. I was swamped by many clerks. I told them this visit for info. Looked at 8k ring. Then was pressured to open a account. I said no many times. After saying no. Like the ring, but do the clerks will buy elsewhere. Car salesmen arent this rude

This place is the absolute worst! I bought a ruby ring and I wanted it with my daughters birthstone. so I asked if they could change it to a peridot and they said easy it would take just 10 days! Great! I bought it February 18th... 10 days would make it ready February 28th. I tell them I need it resized so they push it back to the 6th of March. Okay I can live with that. Till the 5th comes along and I get a call saying my ring won’t be done till the damn 20th yet I told the lady I move the 16th of March and I wanted it for my baby shower the 11th and she said it wouldn’t be an issue they had it all ready. So I being the emotional wreck of a pregnant lady I am called customer support and was promised by them it would be here March 10th they would rush it. Well today March 10th I call and the best they could do for me was say no ma’am we can’t get it till the 20th even rush ordered. Want to talk about patient I have been patient, but now not receiving a call and having no one bother to let me know they wouldn’t get my ring today or for another week that’s not acceptable at all. I have never had such awful customer service they don’t offer me any solution except that they can give me a refund and I go my own way after waiting a stupid month for a ring that should have been done by now. Don’t make promises you can’t keep and don’t shop here.Want other information on why to not shop here they care so little bout personal information that they let a non spouse/family member access my account. Account being the credit card I didn’t want but they were so pushy I ended up getting just to pay off a ring and cancel. Definitely cancel now cause I will never shop with them again! They seriously just let anyone see your information I’m blessed it was my boyfriend and not anyone trying to steal my information. However it still shouldn’t have been available for his access.Back in December I also got a necklace from them cause I always loved Kay and the quality was so poor for the chain it snapped after a week! That should have been a sign to keep away from these terrible “jewelers!”These people only care about your money not you and your happiness and they have no issue showing that! If I could give them negative stars I would! Y’all are the definition of bad business!

Out of the many times weve visited, we have only had one sales associate treat my husband and I with respect. A lot of the time we wait forever and the people who look like they have more money get helped even if they entered the store later than we had. Customer service is lacking.

I lost the center diamond of my engagement ring that was less than 6 months old. I took it in since it was under warranty and requested repair. I waited approximately 30 minutes before anyone approached me. The guy who helped me started pushing me for an upgrade. I was heartbroken to lose the diamond in the first place. I cried because of the sentimental attachment. I didnt want to upgrade. They pushed me and coerced me. Even brought over a second sales person who said if I could open a credit account I could get a larger diamond. I was very offended by their pushy tactics. And when I finally got thru to them that I wasnt spending more money, they turned rude saying it could take up to six months to get my ring back. This happened March 15th. Two months have passed and I still havent gotten my ring back. I will not purchase another item from this place.

They totally forget youre even there if youre not there to buy anything. I went in to get my ring cleaned and I asked a guy if he could do mine and he said he would when he was done with the one he had. Never came back to me and totally ignored me. I waited for like 30 minutes until someone finally came over to ask if I needed anything.

Every single time that my wife and I come in to get her ring cleaned (which was purchased at this location) we get a comment about our small diamond. Its either about upgrading or on one occasion it was mentioned three of four times about our small Leo diamond or that tiny diamond. I get it, its sales, but how much do you need to be belittled about a purchase before it goes to far. Its frustrating, but it is what it is.

All I was needing was a ring clean and inspection. 4 workers and not a single one said anything as we stood at the register for about 15 minutes. More than 1 representative for 1 customer and no greeting or recognition that we were here. Terrible customer service

I went with my husband to buy some rings and his attention was great but as mentioned, in one of the comments, when I returned to cancel the order they were very apathetic and without grace.I went to cancel it because they dont tell you how much you are going to pay after 12 months. They only tell you what you would pay monthly but they do not tell you that there is a 90-day payment option and that it would not pay as much. With the 12-month contract they do not tell you that you are going to pay double or more the price of the jewel you want to buy. I had to find out in the email they sent me, once I got home, that what I was going to pay was going to be an additional 65% of the price. That is, if my jewel was worth 800 and something was going to end up paying $ 2000 after 12 months
