We stumbled upon this place while walking around Old Colorado City and we’re pleasantly surprised and fascinated by the display. The shop in front is impressive but it is so worth it to pay the $7 to see the full display!! Highly recommend for locals and out of towners alike. I’d rank it top 5 places to see when visiting Colorado Springs!

Remarkable genius of producing life like people and their surroundings. The settings show an intimate knowledge of how people lived in the past and interacted. The carvings, paints, objects of the periods displayed in the smallest detail show real love and unprecedented skill. We truly enjoyed the vast varieties ofcreativity.

We enjoyed this stop on our vacation so much! It was just amazing to me how he has everything set up and when youre looking at one thing youre watching a hologram and then the scene changes to something else. Ive never seen anything like it! And then Michael Garman himself walked in and was so enjoyable to talk to and made my grandsons day! He was so excited to meet him and the rest of the day thats all he could talk about so thank you if youre reading this for stopping and chatting with us.

Michael Garman Studio is off the charts. I own 10 statues... that being said, my favorite is The Traveler. I love my guy with his suitcase packed.I have a number of Christmas ornaments too. I’ve been here many many times. I especially love Magic Town. Be sure to take the time to check this out. There is over 2 million dollars invested in this project. This is a great place to bring friends visiting from out of town. If you ever get the opportunity to do the “behind the scenes tour”, do it!!!!! Absolutely fascinating!!!! The tour takes you underground to see the process of creating the statues. You also get to meet the artists who hand paint the items. If you own a statue and you have damaged it, you can send it back and have it repaired by one of the artists. There are a number of famous people who owns MG. The staff is very helpful and friendly. 👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Interesting little museum of all of Michael Garmans sculptures. For $5 you get to see the sculptured city built with precision and artistry that comes to life with reflective imagery. You also get to really appreciate digging into the intricacies by doing a free scavenger hunt with a prize or buy paying for harder more in depth scavenger hunts allowing you to dig deeper into the sculptures and history with even bigger and better prizes and you almost always come out a winner, no matter what the cost.

You have to see it for yourself. This is not a huge place but what they have presented is very impressive. Tickets are very affordable (around $5?) and worth the money for about an hour of browsing. They have some easy games you can play in relation to the exhibit to make it a bit more interesting and causing you to look a little more intentionally at the detail. What Michael Garmin has done here is nothing short of amazing. Its worth an afternoon of your time... go check it out then grab a nice lunch at a nearby restaurant. Recommended.

Amazing detail in this one of a kind attraction. Kids of all ages will delight in the enchantment that can be experienced while travelling the streets of Magic Town, a 1/6 scale model of a cityscape circa 1950s Anytown, USA. Children will delight to see the sculptures come alive through simple stage illusion and lighting techniques, while adults will enjoy the experience and possible nostalgia for the old times. Times when life seemed simpler, but was inexorably complex. The statues Michael has been creating for more than 40 years have made his gallery an icon of the Old Colorado City atmosphere. At times guests can even be delighted by a visit from the master Magician himself; Mr. Garman has been known to drop in on occasion to give people personal anecdotes and tours if his masterpiece. Everyone will enjoy what is sure to be a newly created lifetime memory that will bring them back for years to come!

If you are looking for something fun for the entire family (all ages) .... the Michael Garman Museum & Gallery in Colorado Springs could be the place to go. They have built up a miniature 1930s - 1940s city of really detailed diaramas complete with changing holographic rooms. We have been there a few times over the years and still enjoy it. They offer a scavenger hunt to find hidden items in the displays. The displays are very real looking and skillfully done. There is a charge to see the Magic Town display but worth it. This is one of the hidden treasures so many people miss.

Michael Garman Gallery is a wonderful place to visit and the sculptures are pure Americana. I recently purchased a number of sculptures as gifts and one of them was not done correctly. The manager and everyone involved fixed the issue immediately and with grace. I was truly impressed with and appreciative of the staffs genuine concern and quick response. Any organization can provide good customer service up to the time of sale. Its the service you get after the sale that really gives you a measure of the organization and Michael Garmans staff is fantastic.
