Very good course. Well managed! In pretty good shape for November.

Love the course. Well maintained. Hole 11 & 12 suck because of the ongoing maintenance. Very casual place to play. Driving range could use some work.

This was one of my favorite courses from when I was there. The course is beautiful and the drive range is relaxing after a long day. Not to mention the the staff are very polite and professional. You want a good challenge this course is it.

The golf course is in good shape. The greens are smooth and fast. Been years and years since I played this course and it hasnt changed much. My only complaint is that there was no drinking water out on the course on a hot August day. Maybe a covid thing, I dont know. I asked for a cup of water in the restaurant at the turn and they charged me 50 cents for the cup. And there was no beverage cart on the course. $50 plus seemed a bit pricey for the lack of amenities. Otherwise a good experience.

My buddies wrap he got looked really good.He said he enjoyed it.On my burger.. Possibly put the cream cheese in a piping bag.I received a block of cream cheese on my burger,.. Which is alright.Was overwhelming toward the end. So either piping bag. Or Ill just ask for less of a block slice. It was. A decent amount honestly.Owoo burger was pretty damn good despite the block of cream cheese.Fries texture are the soft droopy fries. Which i dont preference. But! None the less, they were pretty good.Jalapeños small kick. More flavor then anything.Bacon was good as well

Golf course is great.The restaurant staff are rude and made feel like I was bothering them.

Had lunch with a friend and family. Food was good. Service was good also. Beautiful views of the mountains.

The course and greens were in excellent shape. Flow of play was great for a Saturday. However, I have to be honest with myself and whoever reads this post. The clubhouse is a mess. The ceiling is falling apart in the entry way, the carpet is from the 70s and smells, bathrooms are gross, and the pro shop smells like sweat. The only positive thing in my opinion was the young lady in the restaurant who was waitress-bar keep-and cashier in one. She was very good at her job. So...if golf is all youre looking for, its worth the money, if you want a club house experience, think twice.

Very nice public golf course! I didnt get to play the back nine due to thunderstorms but I cant wait to finish my round. Greens and tee boxes are great also.

The starter/Marshall named Angel made the course. He was very friendly and inviting. Very helpful. The greens and the course were in very good shape. The Mountain View made up for the shabby apartment complexes surrounding the course. As stated in other reviews the pro shop staff were not very friendly. Uninviting and rude. They need to take lessons from Angel.Can’t beat the price.The bar staff and the cart girl were very friendly. Would definitely return due to the price and the view of the mountains. You couldn’t beat that.

Great course. Not too technical but plenty of obstacles to practice on for amateurs like me. Super friendly staff and well kept greens.

Valley Hi is fun and this time was in pretty good shape overall...bit the greens were in the best shape Ive seen at this course..very smooth and true

Tons of fun

Genuinely the worst experience I have ever had golfing and it is not even close. The staff would not stop bothering my group the entire time, making us feel uncomfortable. We are not very experienced golfers, and the staff made it feel like they were almost gatekeeping the course, rushing us even though we were waiting on the people in the group in front of us. Would not recommend this to anyone at all, really. Just an all around terrible experience, spend your money at a place that actually is inclusive to not experienced golfers.

Shame for this place . I came in with my boyfriend to check the place out no near or what we r excited. Service,and food wasn’t very good . Bartender was so slow from taking our drinks order to the food about 45 min and is not like we want food that it take a long time to cook we have caprici and chips and cheese lol is not even busy... I would never recommend or come back to this place. This place is sad.

Carts are old but seem to work well, some ground was under repair. Not a bad couse though, cost was $ 53.00 during the week.

Union retires eat there 2nd Thursday of month. Super fast service top of the line food.the girls never get a order wrong fast & friendly.very good place to eat & take friends.

We go there not to play golf but to have lunch or dinner. This restaurant is amazing and the food is fresh and delicious. Youre not going to find a better place for your money. Also, the view is to die for. It shows true Colorado! Fresh prime rib every single Saturday 12.99. If you want delicious food be sure to check this place out.

Restaurant fits the bill for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Never a disappointment. Golf course has successfully moved scheduling to the golfers. Quite arragant in conveying disdain for customers and using covid as an excuse to do so.

Like this course for a public course. Its fair if you are hitting straight.

Now we have homeless tents by the fairway. Not good. Greens are in good shape10/7 - I believe that the city finally removed the homeless camp just this last week.

Reservations easy, Pro Shop staffed in easy to work with, golf course in good to better shape, a few dead issues and the normal Back Nine challenges. Food Service nonexistent, training still urgently needed for service staff. Could really be more than a trunk Slammers place to play golf.

My biggest issue with this course is that at the tee boxes none of the tee markers to the hole distances were shown on the tee box boards. This is the first course I have seen like this. Everything else was pretty good.

Records was in pretty good shape unfortunately it was very crowded and it seemed very unorganised the wait was quite a long time and we played on Tuesday afternoon very disappointed it was literally no customer service

I took my young grandson for a program he is enrolled in and I was totally late. They took him anyway giving him his hour of time, no frowns, no gripes. Great staff.

Great food

Biscuits and gravy, yum. View of Pikes Peak. Good cuppa coffee. And everybody should figure out what a Yessy is for themselves.

I went there to go to the driving range, told the employee it was my first time there and that instantly annoyed him. After asking where I go to do that and where the balls are and being met with one rude answer and eye roll after another, I left before finishing the transaction. You’d think a company doing so well as to chase away new customers, would spend a little of their profits on making the building look nicer.

I enjoyed my round here with my son. Nice public course with all the amenities. We walked up as a twosome and got right on. My son says that usually happens here. Course was in good shape. I rented clubs and was very happy with the set they provided. Had a blast and definitely recommend.

Fun and well-maintained course

I grew up going here mainly because it is less expensive than other places. It is a good course to play on a budget. Nothing too spectacular about it and it occasional gets a bit run down. Ill keep going back though.

Customer service is non-existent. I needed to cancel or change an existing tee time and could not get a hold of anyone. No way to change or cancel online either, and no answer from emails to pro-shop and golf pro.

Seriously, the worst golfing experience I’ve ever had. The course was all mud and full of puddles, which doesn’t help when you have mesh cleats. This isn’t just in the rough. We were out for 2 hours behind a walker, and didn’t see a cart girl the whole time. The greens were perforated, aiding to misdirected puts. This was just the playing experience. We arrived at 1120 to the first tee, with a 1122 tee time. We were shown a walker, when we were in a cart, and asked if we want to group up or not. We said no, not really, we’d like to play by ourselves, not with a random walker. I was yelled at, and was told, “Excuse me, we make the rules here! We don’t care if you don’t want to play with him, let’s get this straight, this is our course, you don’t get to choose, and you’ll play by our rules!” This guy was very angry with us for no reason. He asked us if we’d like to group up and we said, no. This senior citizen didn’t like our answer and was literally spitting while yelling at me. He apparently didn’t like any answers I was giving to his questions, because he slammed the window on me. He then came out and said he can be mean too. We moved on, and played on one of the most destructed courses we’ve ever played. The weather was nice and nobody was out because of prior rain, so we thought we’d like to play another 9 after our 18. We asked if it was at a discounted rate. The guy at the counter looked at me with a blank stare and said no, there’s no discount. Never been to a course where this was the case. Never going back. Worst ever.

The club house is ran very well in the A.M and the restaurant is the best one at any course in C Springs or surrounding areas.

The last time I was at Valley Hi Golf Course I was responding to an armed robbery. It looks like a nice bar though and Im sure the thief enjoyed it.BTW if youre wondering if your phone is tracking you, the only reason I even wrote this review is because I was prompted to by Google. I have only ever been to Valley Hi one time and it was for exactly what I said. I responded to an armed robbery in progress but the robber was long gone by the time I got there

Nice place to grave a beer. Dont have to golf to enjoy a full menu. And a nice view of Pikes Peak. And the staff is amazing.. I enjoy coming here for the food and the view.

We love the ambiance here, the friendly people and staff, the warm fireplace and beautiful views. The food is very good and filling; our favorites are the all you can eat themed dinner nights, which is almost every evening. We had breakfast only once, which is good for seniors with simple appetites, but didnt delight us. The prices are extremely moderate, so I do highly recommend trying this place. There is a very nice bar, too.

I live near the golf course, and its supposed to be public, but I was told to leave because I was just walking the path and enjoying the view. It was a nice place to take a walk. Guess if your not playing golf youre not allowed. So much for public and tax payer dollars.

We waited for over an hour after ordering to get burgers and fries. There was one couple there when we ordered.

We had a terrible experience at this course and will not return. We usually pack a cooler with ice and enjoy beverages both alcoholic and non. To have the starter lady say she had to check our coolers was rediculous -should have better things to do. Never had that happen before. Then there was a guy driving around with zero personality -never even said hello. Also, the beverage girl threatened to take away any beverages we may of had if they were not bought from her! What kind of policed place is this? The course was okay at best, not worth almost $100 for the two of us. Much more friendly courses in Springs area where you are treated like an adult allowed to enjoy yourselves. We wont be back

Hidden Gem!!! Never busy (Ill probably regret saying that...), its one of my favorite go-tos. Best views in the city, Stella Artois on tap, staff is almost always on their game and very friendly, ...these are just some of the things that make the restaurant and bar special. Try the Valley Hi burger, or the wings extra Crispy!!!

A pretty good golf course! The course has generally been well manicured and I havent had many issues with the place be over crowded or running behind. Their practice chipping and putting greens are decent and the driving range is OK. The staff has always been professional and helpful.

What a shame I have to even rate this place 1 star. Id give zero if I could. They dont give rain checks. I get it. However under certain circumstances maybe not a rain check but how about returning the money for the back 9 and cart that could not be playe . The 2 guys in there had no hesitation to tell me I should get back in my cart and go play the back 9 because I wasnt getting ANY type of refund!!! Me and my friends spend A LOT of money at this course. I highly doubt we go back. There are many courses around the area we can take our money and feel appreciated for playing there. See ya Valley Hi!!! Way to lose valued customers!!! Thank you and good luck

I have played here for many many years. The course is in good shape this year and staff are great. But the driving range as typical is terrible. You have to hit from mats and good luck trying to find a rubber tee for a driver. The very few times I have been allowed to hit off mats its hard to find a patch of grass. Its always dirty, full of sticks and leaves and they raised the price of range balls, again. Even though this is the course my friends and I play at, I typically will practice across town at a real driving range.

Great course for people that are occasional golfers. They are very friendly, and will work with you on tee times. Course is always well taken care of, but hardcore golfers might find it easier than other courses.

Good food, great ambiance... Look out for hooks and ball slicers in the parking lot.... Great place to kick back and enjoy the wonderful Rocky Mtn weather or lounge with friends over a leisurely meal that fills you up,. .. Park out on the side streets and savor a stroll down the road even in the moonlight. OK, dont forget this is a great golf course! World class athletes play here more than you might realize.

Restaurant has done a 180 degree turn, the food is now wonderful, drink menu is just really fun, and the prices are great. The course has been wonderful this year, with a few fairways still struggling with the native clay soil...overall a great place to play a round of golf. Pro staff friendly and helpful!

Really grouchy service

Our ladies league plays here every Wednesday and has for 18 years. We have NEVER seen anyone dressed inappropriately. Also, they have a wonderful Pee Wee golf program. If you dont bring your kids, you are missing out.

I mean, this is not the worst course in town. The course is not in great condition condition, but it’s not awful. The course has a decent design, but nothing special. This is just a middle of the road course in a middle of the road area.

The course is in pretty good shape - especially the greens. The price is high in my opinion compared to other courses, especially since this one is old and not in a good location. I would play a lot more here if they had a reasonable membership rate rather than $16 to walk 9 holes. At Cheyenne Shadows for instance, I can pay $20 to play unlimited with a cart after 3 PM.Update: Played 9/3/18. Management in pro shop not happy/energetic (same goes for Patty Jewett). The greens were slow (not cut) and had a ton of dimples and ball marks, not true. Cost $25 for 9 holes and a cart? What a joke considering a bad course in a bad part of town. I can play a Shining Hills in Woodland Park for $29 for 18 and a cart. The city owned courses are run down and never have specials, thus are always overpriced.

I went here the other night and I had a server named Ashely. I felt like she was very disrespectful and was very inappropriate. She wasn’t very attentive to me but more attentive to my date, she was making inappropriate gestures to him and being very flirtatious with him as if I wasn’t sitting right there. She never asked me for a refill on my drink and other things. Good place just poor service.

Was in town visiting some friends and thought we would check the restaurant out. Food is great. Service sucked. Had a server named Ashley. Her clothes reeked of smoke and her breath had a tinge of alcohol on it. I know because she leaned in close when my fiancé went to the restroom. She tried to slide her phone number to me on the down low. Sorry I am happily engaged. Plus I am not interested in a fling with a trashy waitress who gives bad service and talks about hooking up with a bunch of dudes when she thinks no one else is listening.

Hopefully the employee is just having a bad day, but wow....... that guy behind the counter was just rude from first contact.

Course is not well maintained. I shouldnt be hitting my ball off of dirt on a fairway. The guy running the front counter was extremely condescending. I asked if they have a vending machine, he just told me in a stern voice that there are no vending machines any where on the course. Couldnt be bothered to mention there is a snack shack in the same building. The driving range closely resembles a landfill. The backdrop on the majority of the holes is the giant cheesy 60s eyesore of a hotel The Satellite. Not going back.

First thing first why is everyone in workout outfits, Not professional at all. Secondly I think our server was drunk. She had short brown hair and smelled like booze and smoke. I know its Colorado but being intoxicated on the clock is ridiculous. The food was good everything else was AWFUL.... I wont be back

Course is surprinsingly beautiful, wasnt expecting much at first but totally blew my expectations out of the water, definitley coming here again!

Staff is rude. The driving range is a dump. Have to hit off mats, we tried to take 10 steps onto the grass and this guy came and yelled at me and my kid. We also grabbed a few miss hit balls to retry (they are kids)...and they yelled at us again. We spent over $100 play and they treated us terribly. Food is bad, course is not worth the money.

Much better track than i heard about. Need some more grass in the fairways and on the box. Could use some work in key areas, but totally gettable!

Had the fish and sweet potato fries..... The best Ive had. Service was awesome view to die for.

My friends and I had came in August and tried to have a good time. Unfortunately tho our server who was a short girl with short brown hair with plugs, she was chewing gum in our faces and was rude. I’m not sure if she’s racist or what. She went out for a smoke and took forever, and she smelled too. Bathing is required in the food industry.....

I prefer Patty Jewett but this is good simple golf too!
