Very friendly and attentive staff, with a wide selection of firearms. I was surprised by what they had in stock, even with the demand right now. I was able to pickup ammo for a decent price too. Their price tags show the out-the-door price too, which is very convenient. Also, the website is easy to use and navigate, so you can browse the inventory remotely.

Nice selection of guns and accessories. The price on the sales tag includes tax, which is a nice touch. Service has been very good each time I have been there. They do get busy so it may take a bit for you to get your turn. When you do you will get knowledgeable people very willing to help you.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, good selection with competitive prices, clean shop and an enjoyable buying experience. However I purchased a used 380 and was very disappointed when I got it home and got into it. By far the dirtiest pistol I have ever seen and its very apparent that nobody made any attempt to clean it up, it makes me wonder how well they even inspect these pistols. If I owned a gun shop I personally would not feel ok selling this 380 with how dirty it was.

I bought my first gun here. The staff was friendly and very helpful when it came to answering questions about the guns as well as the paper work. The gun I bought jams quite a bit but I don’t blame SDS for that. It’s just the poor quality of a Smith & Wesson.

Great customer service, but still understaffed on weekends and weekday afternoons. Fair prices on guns, but not the increased pricing on ammo by up to 75% over MSRP. I can go to other local stores nearby and buy ammo for a fraction of the cost (Sportsmans Warehouse, Springs Armory, Big 5, etc.). And dont compare your prices to online websites through Ammo Seek and other internet search tools.. They are all price gouging at this point. If you pay close attention, several websites sell ammo for much cheaper on Ammo Seek, but sell out quickly. So why charge more? I know you have to make a profit, but selling ammo for more than 75% of what you paid is wrong. You make take offense to someone calling out price gouging. Customers take offense to you doing it. Your pricing on guns is fantastic, so why not follow the same practice with ammo pricing?? How about provide a discount on ammo for those that buy a gun or make other large purchases? Or better yet, create a store membership that provides customers with an award program with discounts? Bottom line: Once they Increase staff support and reduce the ammo prices, theyll get 5 stars.

I am writing this review giving five stars and a high recommendation based on my Glock purchase. The background check, sales process and demo was well worth my time here. The staff here were amazing and answered all my questions in layman’s terms and proactively offered to be of future supportive assistance should I have any questions, finally the gentleman who was helping me recommended where to obtain my carry and conceal license and essentially what the class instruction would consist of. Again I cannot rave enough about my positive experience here. My personal safety at the hands of carrying my own firearm are *well worth the investment*

These guys are awesome!! I was greeted through the window with a nod before i walked in the door. Then conversed with as soon as i walked in. Minus the background check, which is only $11, what you see is what you pay! Very organized; the tag color tells you the category of new, used, or mil/leo. Even though i was helped straight in the door, i was also helped by 3 other gents as well. None of them pushy or lingering. Ended up buying a pistol, but also putting a plinkster for the kids and an ar pistol on layaway. Super easy and quick to take it off the site for my reservation. That way nobody else could get it before i could. 2 deals i could not pass up. This is definitely my new favorite gun shop!!

Ive been into Stop Drop & Shop a number of times and Ive always been impressed. The people behind the counters are knowledgeable, helpful and engaging. The owner has a great attitude when it comes to ammo prices - even when the lockdown was causing everyone and their grandmother to rush the gun stores all over town, he didnt raise his prices. I asked and he said that it didnt sit right to him to spike the prices just because everyone was panicking. I respect that, and thats why this store will be one of the first places I check when Im looking to buy. Good people, good selection, good ethics.

Wont go there anymore. Had a firearm transferred there from a private individual. Found out that they refused the package. One small line about them not doing private transfers until they can be done same day. It was not even on the FFL page like they told me. Now more money to send to another FFL. No more of my business will be going there.

Its sucks because my first experience was awesome but somehow I got charged twice for the background and I tried to the man my bank account but he didnt want that he wanted a printed receipt. I live 30 minutes away Im not coming back to just show him that when I have proof now. Anyways they lost a ton of business as I had plans to buy 3 guns from the website along with optics, etc. Sucks because I already told 4 people it was a good shop.

I dont usually write reviews for shops, but this place is flipping awesome:awesome staff, awesome stock, awesome prices. I went in last week, spent 35 bucks total on 50 rounds of 00buck and 25 rounds of 7.5 game, and the guys provided some useful information on a few rifles. Came in today, and bought my first AR, a red dot, and 150 rounds of 5.56 all for under 500 dollars. The guys were real helpful and real easy to get along with.Overall, if you havent yet, make sure to stop by; youre doing yourself a disservice if you dont.

Other than my childhood gun shop back home, this is my favorite place to buy, sell, and FFL firearms. Justin especially is very helpful and remembers repeat customers. I grew up around guns, and never once have been led astray here, or treated like anything but a valued customer, even if I just stop by to browse. New location is well laid out and equipped. My first visit to SD & S exceeded my expectations. The guys very very friendly, helpful, and patient. They gave excellent advice, even when it was not necessarily to their own advantage to do so. When you walk in, you can see they specialize in firearms, but they also have expert knowledge of precious metals, jewelry, watches, etc. Lots of other cool things in the shop, such as old stereo equipment, electric guitars, and so on. Very positive experience.

Cheapest ammo and firearms in the springs. I paid 26% less out the door than I would have paid at Sportsmans Warehouse. Their prices are posted with tax so what you see is what you pay. They are very knowledgeable and one of the only shops I know of that offer firearm classes for children as well as adults. CHP class was in depth and included range time. Selection is not that big but they carry the most popular models and are substantially cheaper than any other store in Colorado Springs. Worth a visit to check them out.

This poor guy...he is so nice. I sent my mom to his shop to get a phone I saw on Craigslist. My mom went to the wrong place and they mistreated her terribly at the other place. I called the owner him and gave him a big piece of my mind and he was so nice. He explained that it was the wrong place and he asked all his employees if my mom had been there when he was not there. Ive been in some shady gun shops in my day, but this is the worst. Called a few days ago for a price and stopped in today because i thought it was in stock. They changed the price on me but said they would honor it if i paid cash. Now im smart enogh to know this is a tax thing, but debit card is the same as cash. On my way out he told me to enjoy paying more, haha well the store down the street sold it to me for 40 less than your cash price, so enjoy lying to people.

The only exception I have made is driving down to Stop Drop & Shop. There is no shortage of good firearm dealers in the Denver area and I have been to most of them. Stop drop and shop has fair prices and friendly people. Justin and his team always get me taken care of in a timely matter. I had a problem with a .22 failing to feed that I got from them, and they just swapped it out for a newer model with no questions asked. They have my business for life.

Was here about two weeks ago to pick up a transferred rifle. The store and staff are nothing short of awesome! The store is in a small and unassuming location, however, it is clean, bright, and comfortable inside. The guys at the shop were also super friendly and fast to serve their customers. When I went to the shop, there was about 5 people inside and I left that shop within 30 minutes with my rifle. The entire process of dealing with the store was a good experience. I will definitely be returning here for all future FFL transfers (only $26 to pickup FFL transfers).

They may not have the widest selection of firearms or the largest showroom in the Springs, but what they lack in size is compensated by their great customer service and vast knowledge of all of the guns on their rack. I went in the other day to purchase my first 12 gauge after being gave the run around by a large firearms store down the road. The guys seemed to have no intention of trying to turn my inexperience into a bigger profit and had the best costumer service Ive ever received at a gun shop. All of Marks employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. In addition, the prices here where the fairest Ive seen in the Springs and I really like the no gimmick out the door price labeled on every firearm. I will definitely be going to SDS the next time Im looking to buy a firearm.

Drove 2 hours to look at a Remington posted online. The gun looked way worse in person. Can buy the same gun for $15 more brand new!! Never stepping foot in this store again. 0/5.
