Bait and switcheroosky is their business plan! We negotiated prices on windows through their outlet section. Guillermo convinced me to bring cool hard cash to avoid the 3% surcharge. When i arrived i was told the classic line theres a mistake on those quoted prices, they are actually triple that price! This place is operated by foreign accented, shady backroom, black market feeling, tax-dodging scheisters! Their showroom and yard are dangerous with stuff falling off the shelves, doors falling into isles and nails all over the premises, got 2 in my shoes and a scrape on my shoulder. If you visit 17 Commerce in C.Springs, get your Tetnus shot first, take video, bring a body guard! Actuall avoid at all cost. They get overstock, damaged and returned goods donated from Lowes, then they turn around and list items on fb marketplace for 1/3 of retail, then triple the price when you arrive. Compete SCAM and likely illegal.

I can’t rave enough about the AMAZING service, endless options, and INCREDIBLE pricing at Larkspur Buildings!! We encountered so many battles with our HOA, but Guillermo & his staff were unbelievably accommodating & patient through the entire process! The HOA ultimately denied the pole barn, and unfortunately we had to renege our contract. Our deposit was refunded promptly, without question or hesitation! Truly a top-notch company and a rare find!!!! HIGHEST recommendations!!!

We had a 12x12 loafing she’d built and installed on our property. During installation two metal sheets were cut wrong and they assured us they would replace it. They also ran our final payment prior to contacting us and after several months the two sheets of metal have not been replaced. We have contacted them multiple times with no response.

Guillermo and his team are the best in the business, period! When I was younger I worked as a carpenter doing residential construction, and I can promise you that your house is not as well-built as a Larkspur Building. We had a 12 x 33 loafing shed built, and the team was on time, professional, courteous, and extremely talented. They use 4x4s, 2x6s, and 6x6s where other use 2x4s. Every detail was beyond exceptional - from the way they squared the walls, to the number of nails they used, to the quality of the reinforcing joist hangers. You simply dont see this attention to detail very often, and our loafing shed is as sturdy as a tank!! If thats not enough, the price is very reasonable given the amazing quality, and the customer service is out-of-this-world good!The greater Colorado Springs area and equine community are blessed to have a company of this caliber, and I wont use anyone else. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and if you give them your business you will feel the same way.

Larkspur Buildings is a fabulous business! We were first attracted to them for the little out cabins (sheds) they build, and are delighted with the work they did on our shed. But more than an excellent product Guillermo and his employees are delightful people to know and work with. Not only does our shed look like a true, rustic western building, it is so secure and solid that no bear or other critter could ever break into it. Even our picky neighbors are raving about how fabulous it looks, and more than that while the shed was being constructed on site the men were careful and respectful to everyone in our close nit neighborhood.This outfit is better than five stars! I love my building, Larkspur far exceeded my expectations. We ordered a 12 x 36 loafing shed with an 8x12 tack room. They had the best price (by far) and a quick turn-around. They arrived on time, built the structure on-site, and everything went smoothly. The crew were all very nice and polite and were careful about dropped nails and kept all gates closed. Guillermo was easy to work with, and the building turned out beautiful. Its red with white trim and we have a beautiful dutch door on the tack room. I just could not be happier.UPDATE BLIZZARD OF JANUARY 2019: Our loafing shed is the bomb! While were hoping to build a real horse barn, the $$ we invested to get this loafing shed from Larkspur is some of the best money I have ever spent. It withstood the blizzard without issue and when we went out to check on the horses, they were warm and dry inside. We did have water and electric run, so they had plenty of fresh, warmed water, too. Cant say enough about this great little building!

I ordered a second building from Larkspur after being completely satisfied with the first run-in shelter. Because of unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel the building. Guerillmo was more than professional and compassionate by refunding my entire deposit. I offered to pay the credit card fees for the charge for the refund and he replied, money is not the most important thing. Would definitely recommend Larkspur Buildings to anyone needing their products. Ill be reordering my building next spring.

I just had a 5 stall shedrow barn built by Larkspur buildings and was overly impressed with the quality of work. Guillermo is an angel to work with and goes above and beyond to honor his word. Great location with a cool unique complex. They make quality sheds, and they look great. Staff were helpful and helped me with what I needed. Would recommend, though a mask is required (though who doesnt these days :)

They just finished building our 30X40 pole barn this week. We were a bit nervous as we had heard mixed reviews. We are very happy and impressed! Despite the snow the barn was finished when we were told it would be. My husband accidentally gave Guillermo the wrong color when they placed the order, I called back the next day and was told they had already ordered the material but with out hesitation Guillermo changed our color for us! The two guys that worked on our barn were very nice, professional and friendly! They did an amazing job, Guillermo always kept us in the loop and they were very punctual. Would definitely recommend!

Larkspur is owned and run by Guillermo and he is a character! He also takes care of business and does what he says he will. They dont just build sheds, they build barns, cabins, and just about anything else you need. He is building a small bunkhouse for our farm and its almost done. We love it! His employees are hard working and polite. A great crew that we plan to use again in the future.

We had two horse shelters built by Larkspur Buildings just over 2 years ago, they have withstood some of the worst winds we have experienced here on the eastern plains, including the March blizzard. Recently, we purchased three more horse shelters and they were delivered and built promptly. Guillermos team were hard working, polite, considerate and cleaned up all their work areas, even removing all trash. Our experience with Larkspur Buildings has been very positive and we would not hesitate to purchase from them again in the future.

I really wish I could post a better review! Guillermo (owner of Larkspur) is a really friendly guy and I was thrilled with the company at first. Unfortunately things went downhill from there. The project started late, didnt get done before winter set in, tack shed was left not snow-proof. Then in the spring, problems continued. The guys (all very nice and great to have around!) came for a few days, didnt finish the project and Guillermo was going to have them leave it unfinished once again until I insisted they complete what they started. I wish I could say the quality of construction is good, but it isnt. The main support beam on my leafing shed has since been pushed out of place, leaving my horses in an unsafe situation, and my tack shed is nowhere near weather-proof. Guillermo said hes fix the loafing shed, but never followed up or came to actually do it. Im sad to say that I would recommend finding a different company for your sheds.

On 12/10/18, our ranch purchased a barn kit that was 36X48 with 10 outside walls and 13 walls in the center. The kit included a 10X10 slider door and a walk through door. Mr. Guillermo showed us the material to include the walk through door that was included in the kit.The lumber was supposed to be delivered on 12/20/18 and the metal was supposed to be delivered the first week of January 2019. The poles and some of the lumber was delivered on 12/27/18. The lumber was not correct so starting on building was postponed. I waited until the first week of January to see if the whole kit would be delivered but there was no delivery. I started calling Mr. Guillermo on 1/7/19 and left messages for him to call me back with my name and ranch name in the message. On 1/17/19, Mr. Guillermo answered my phone call. We set up a meeting to discuss the issues we were having. At the meeting, my brother and I spoke with Mr. Guillermo about the material we had received/not received and he said he would make it right. I asked him when we could expect the delivery of the material and he said he would have the lumber delivered on 1/24/19 minus the metal for the roof due to measurements being messed up. At this same meeting, Mr. Guillermo said that there was no walk through door included in the kit and that was extra. On 1/25/19 the lumber, some of the metal for the walls, and the trusses were delivered.We have spent every weekend trying to build this barn but keep running into issues with the material. On 2/2/19, we were working and making progress on the walls of the barn. When we opened the package of metal for the walls we noticed that the metal measured at 7. I called Mr. Guillermo and he answered on the second call. I explained that the metal for the walls was 7 and I asked him if we were supposed to over lap or cut the metal and he said no it should be 10 for the walls. He said he sent the wrong metal out and would have to reorder the metal on Monday, 2/4/19. This again postponed our progress. On 2/7/19, I called Mr. Guillermo and asked him if the metal was going to be delivered by Saturday? He said no, the delivery would have to be next week. I asked him if he knew which day and he said no. Mr. Guillermo has never called with updates on deliveries and does not communicate at all. I am still waiting for our experience to get better but wanted to share my experience with others. I would not recommend Larkspur Buildings if you need an easy timely product.

We are a small Therapeutic Riding Center and we were on a tight budget and even tighter time frame to build an area for our students and volunteers to work with their horses and Larkspur totally delivered! We love our 12x24 run-in with tack room! I was perfect for what we were looking for and Guillermo and Edgar made sure it was exactly what we needed. No fuss, no hassles, and no additional costs, we got exactly what we paid for. We are looking forward to ordering more as our riding center grows.

Guillermo is very pleasant and easy to work with... Until there is an issue. Then, hes nowhere to be found. To returning calls, texts or emails. In addition to coming home to the completely wrong skeleton and them having to tear down and start over, the work literally took over a year to be finished and the quality is poor to say the least. I paid a pretty penny for this company to complete a job in a certain time frame. This was not done. I lost clients and income and the horses were forced to be outside in the harsh winter months. We are STILL having to make repairs to the work they put a lifetime guarantee on. Trust me, it will be worth spending a few dollars more and getting quality work that is completed on time, appealing to the eye and safe for your animals.

This company does not have good customer service they do not respond. They sent us damaged materials and would not fix the problem. Poor quality and support system for trusses are very poorly designed. I would not recommend this company to anyone

Too bad google does not let me share photos of what their repairs were.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Multiple issues. From business practices, customer service, structural integrity, reliability, the list goes on. Stay away under any circumstances!We literally have to take our 12x48 shed apart due to the health hazards it imposes, in addition to the poor structural integrity. And rebuild a NEW 12x48 building. This is a huge loss to us. We do not write reviews lightly.

Beyond disappointed in what has became my experience with this company I paid for a 36x44pole barn with custom doors and stalls in full over four months ago that I was going to build myself as of today I still dont have any kind of commitment whatsoever as to when Im going to get the rest of my materials!!! Everytime I contact the owner they say theyre going to reply back to me and I do not hear back from them!!! The materials delivered to my home so far have been wrong time and time again and it has took numerous times and literally weeks of waiting to even try getting what materials I have to be the correct materials!!! I would never use this company again or recommend anyone else to do so as I feel like Ive been robbed for thousands of dollars with nothing but empty promises from Gerimo the owner of Larkspur Outlet !!!

Great people, great deals!

Do not use this company. They are awful! They take your money and never finish the job. They promise you the moon and give you a small ugly dull rock. No seriously! We ordered 5 buildings from this company, 2 lean-tos, a 24x36 hay barn, a 24x36 quarantine barn and a small indoor riding arena. They started and finished the lean-tos without issues, then they had a deadline of May 12th 2016 to finish the quarantine barn, they started it in April, took all our money, and even today, September 14th our quarantine barn doesnt have doors, or stalls... Its literally a shell!! They have been fully paid! They also started the hay barn and that was in May and that doesnt have doors either! Every time you call they give you a bs excuse saying the other materials needed are in production... Theyve said this over and over yet whenever they have come to our home, they have built it here. There is nothing in production! They have stolen our money and are refusing to return it! We canceled the riding arena back in June, due to them not meeting their contract time lines, and they are saying they are keeping the extra money that supposedly was for the riding arena! Thats over $15,000 folks! All other buildings have been paid in full as well, yet we have unfinished buildings and no one comes to finish them. We called Tom Martino and they too tried to resolve this and it ended with them telling us to contact a lawyer and sue them, they are also adding them to their list of sleazy businesses! Theyve not returned phone calls or tried to resolve this issue in any way. This business is a scam!!! Do not use!
