Excellent work at a fair price. Got my truck back on time and looking better than it ever has.
They are family owned and are working on the dump truck that i drive
We used this place 2 years ago and have never been back.We took our 2008 Cameo by Carriage fifth wheel to have some work done before we took it on a 2 week long vacation to California and back. Initially we asked for a wheel well to be repaired from a tire blowing earlier in the year, some caulking to be done on the roof, and general check ups on the systems (read, AC as this would be a trip in September) to see if it was road worthy. It was dropped off at least a month in advance to our trip. We talked with someone at the front desk and was told they would give our rig a once over and let us know lead times/cost. What we got in return was a long itemized list of necessary repairs. We selected what we deemed the most urgent and relayed this information. We were told those repairs should be completed in time.Fast forward a bit and we were updated as to how things werent going to get done before we left. We reiterated that the urgent items listed would be needed first if they could get them done, that would be ideal.Progress was being made on the camper, but it wasnt until anything was being repaired that we finally had someone come out to the camper with us to go over any issues we had and wanted addressed. Our deadline to leave was less than a week, and we go to check on our progress. The inside of the camper was coated in dust from the gravel lot and Im assuming, being left open to the elements for an extended amount of time (I had to re-wash all the linens before our trip). We were assured that our 1 AC unit (10 years old at this point) was fine. The other repairs we had deemed not necessary (read, cosmetic issues) were completed and ended up costing over a grand. But I can say the caulking on the roof was done well!Long story short, we get to Las Vegas, and our AC unit shot craps. No pun intended. We had to scramble to find someone to repair it since we were told it was ready to go. Repair guy out there said it was a miracle we got 10 years out of it. New AC unit for us. Plus a second one installed for dual climate since one couldnt keep up. Two days stuck in Vegas with 100+ degree weather and a 85 pound GSD mix that we had to try to keep cool was less than ideal.Im glad others have had such great luck, but we were not impressed.
Needed repairs on our RV and chose Commercial Truck & RV based on ratings and comments. From the initial call to paying the bill, we could not be happier with the experience. Had the pleasure of working with Mike throughout the process, and always felt he kept our needs and interests first and foremost. He saved us time and money by not doing unnecessary work and finding more cost effective solutions. Highly recommend Commercial Truck & RV. You wont be sorry!
Probably nicest most professional people you can deal with.Ive had 2 service calls from 2 different technicians and they have both been very knowledgeable and professional.Quick response time and reasonably priced. Two thuimbs up !
Commercial Truck &RV employees were very nice, & knowledgeable. We were passing through Columbia MO and had a problem with the air. They fix the problem within an hour and sent us on our merry way.....we are very pleased with their services.
We decided to go here instead of Camping World because of the reviews. I was right to do so. Mike was super helpful and informative. There was no sales pressure or price gauging. He answered our many questions with a smile. Thanks Mike!
Purchased a 5th Wheel from them. Mike and staff where very helpful and friendly. Mike spent a lot of time going over 2 trailers with us. First use, water leak in a slide during a storm, repaired very quickly and done right the first time. Would purchase from Mike and crew again.
Left my Motor Home there for two weeks and it was never moved, nor do I think it was even looked at. Could not get them to returned calls, called multiply times, had a scheduled appointment for nothing! Stay away! Unorganized shop and only a part time RV mechanic!
When I had a problem with my RV at Cottonwood RV park Commercial Truck Body and Paint sent one of their technicians to me. Jamie was very knowledgeable and had my problems fixed and questions answered in no time. Any problems I have in the future I will be going to them.
We were passing through Columbia Missouri in route to Alaska when our refrigerator stopped working in our travel trailer. Despite being very, very busy, the folks at commercial truck and Rv addressed my problem immediately and got me on my way. The cost was very reasonable.
We just purchased or new Travel Trailer and couldnt be happier! Thanks Mike, Cory and Juiie! Also to the Michael and the Service dept for braving the hot day to make sure we were all set!
Great service. Friendly knowledgeable group of people.
Mike answers your questions and treats you fairly all business dealings.
Very Pro, efficient, and accommodating. Will go back for all needs.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! If you have a few moments, please take time to read this review. If you dont have the time, please just know DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! My wife and I purchased our first rv to travel in. We purchased a 2003 Forest River Wildcat. We like it a lot except that it came with a 6 gallon water heater. If you know anything about rvs, that doesnt give you much time to take a hot shower. This was not good because we were parked at an RV park in Columbia, Missouri in January...VERY COLD! We decided to upgrade the water heater, and everyone we spoke to said a tankless heater is the way to go. We called Commercial Truck Body and Paint to give us an estimate. A representative named Mike came out to meet us. We told him we would like a tankless water heater that would operate on both gas and electric. This way, we could use the electric hook-up at the rv park to heat the water, and then use our propane to heat the water when we were off the grid. Mike told us he understood and that he would email us a price for the new water heater and installation. After getting the quote for $1.287(we expected it to be a bit sporty), we called and told him we except the bid. He said he would order the water heater and call us when it gets in. He called me a couple days later and said the water heater was in, and that a technician could come out to install it. I told him I was on the way back from dropping my wife off at her office, so I would be at the rv soon. A technician showed up and installed the new water heater, and everything seemed great. The technician then presented the bill. He told me if I was going to pay with a credit card, he would have to charge me another 2.5%. I didnt like that surprise. He said I could write a check. I told him I would rather do that but the checkbook was at my wifes office. I wouldve had it with me except Mike called when I was already heading back from the office. I told him I could drop off a check later that day or in the morning. He told me the morning was fine. I went out for some errands, picked my wife up from the office, and we went out to dinner. When we got back to the RV, the place smelled of propane gas. Also, we had no hot water! Since it was after hours, we couldnt get a hold of anybody at the store. We went to bed without showering. The next morning, the place reeked of propane. We felt nauseated. Also, still no hot water. Thinking the propane was low, we went to Uhaul and got our tank filled. However, that still did not fix the problem. By now, my wife and I were thinking that even if our propane was low, the electricity should have kept the water warm. I started reading through the manual the technician left me, and realized the tankless water heater only operated on gas. I called Mike when the store opened. I told him we have no hot water and the manual says this water heater only operates on gas. He told me I know. They dont make a tankless water heater that operates on both gas and electricity. When I asked why he didnt tell me that before, he said I figured you guys only cared about being able to take longer hot showers. I am pretty shocked at this point. I told him we have no hot water and my wife needs to be at the office soon. He sent over the same technician who worked on the heater for about an hour. Still, no hot water. Running out of time, my wife could not take a hot shower before work. I called Mike and told him we had to leave and that I would call him after dropping off my wife. He told me Well, my guy is not leaving without a check or he will take out the heater and leave you with a hole where it was. And, if you want him to put your old heater back in, you will have to pay the technician $375 upfront. I told him to take the part that didnt work anyway, and they left. Without a water heater in place, we couldnt turn on our water until we found someone else to put the old one in place. Also, the wind blowing in from outside was a nice touch.
Great place. Great people !!
Did a great job on my RV!
