Just WOW.First off service here is top notch. The manager, Thomas is great. Really good customer service, was very friendly, professional and informative. Hands down best ran discount tire I’ve been to.The gentleman who helped me check in was great too but I can’t recall his name.I made an appointment but got there about 30 min early and I left right about when I had initially set my appointment. That’s how quick they were! Just WOW, I thought I was gonna have to sit there for hours, as there were plenty of people there, to the point of almost no available parking spaces. - and I drive all day to clients houses so I can’t say how much i appreciated getting such fast, great and well done service they provided.Back on the road and back to work in 45 min 🙂

I had a great experience with Discount tire. Leo was the first person I met and was very friendly and professional. Went above and beyond helping me find the right tires for my vehicle. Thomas and Marcus were involved in the installation and I cant thank them enough. I got a great price on the tires, then found a discount at another place. Charlie the manager said they wouldnt be under sold & matched the discount, just a great experience all the way around. I will always look here first now when buying tires. I understand an appointment takes precedence over a walk-in but if I get here at 1:30 why am I still waiting at 3:30 for my car to get started on and someone with an appointment at 3 is being seen before me?!!!

Got my tires rotated for free and a $40 tire balance (Which I didnt realize how much I needed it). I had a clunky, knocking sound coming from my tire when I turned my wheel, but after the balancing it was gone! Great place and theyre very friendly!

I made an appointment for 9:15am but there isnt a separate line so I waited for service. I had to purchase two tires and a spare tire. The price was a little higher than I anticipated because I purchased the warranty... but it gives me peace of mind because the roads in Columbia are horrible. Conrad was awesome... he has great customer service experience and his personality made me feel comfortable. I usually have anxiety when dealing with car issues but he made the process more than bearable as he explained my options. I immediately noticed the difference in driving my vehicle when I pulled away and would recommend Discount Tire to everyone.

Thomas really looked out for us... called him on a Wednesday, he ordered our 15s, called Friday to let us know my husband could come that day. Theyll take you up to closing time, as long as your there by 6, a real godsend for 8 to 5-5:30 shifts. All of them were great! Really enjoying our trucks new shoes! At 21 years old...she deserves good tires...they will find them for you. Really appreciate it!

They cannot follow a schedule. This is the second time that I have had to wait 3 hours after my vehicle should have been done. They then told me I should make an appointment with them because they are running behind. I had already made an appointment with them, but apparently I needed to make a new one. Save your some frustration and time and go elsewhere. This company doesnt care if the waste your time.

I went to 2 other places before I came here for a screw in my tire. This was the only place that walked out to actually look at the screw and even touch it. The screw didn’t go all the way through, but if I have other tire problems I will definitely be coming back here!

They were super busy and the wait was long but they found a solution to the problem that we took the tires to Ford 2x and they could not locate the reason the tires were slowly losing air. Was a rubber grommet around the tire stem. Great job, great customer service.

Manager Charlie is a nice guy and very professional. He came outside of the office to greet me, assess the situation, and we went inside the office where he advised me on solutions better suited for my car. I’ll be handling my tire needs here from now on.

Had a blowout on I -77 in Columbia South Carolina so the keep Im driving all the way to Charlotte North Carolina on the donut I had to find a tire store that carries Michelin tires in the size that I needed for our Durango. So I stopped in a parking lot to search people down and found Discount Tire give them a call and found out they have what I needed and theyre right down the street on Garners Ferry Road. The manager was very helpful and the staff were very nice even gave my dog a compliment shes a shitzu. I felt like I got a real good deal on the two Michelin tires I needed and found out that they are going to build a store in Summerville South Carolina close to me. Was really glad I was able to stop here to get what I needed the store is very clean and organized. They even have a line to get your air pressure check for free no purchase necessary. This is what I call Great customer service.

Leo the technician corrected a tire pressure issue from another Discount Tire store.The other Discount tire store over inflated the tires.Leo identified the issue corrected it and reset all the sensors.This is the best discount tire store in Columbia.

They don’t deserve that. They broke my bolt on my tired and sent me some else to get it fix. Plus they lost a bolt to a tire that they wasn’t supposed to change please don’t go here they are very inexperienced and a lie so bad

I was on my way back to Atlanta, and the guys (Leo and Coras) put me in for a pit stop. My tire rotation was awesome. They checked the air and balance. They got me in and out. My salute to a job well done!

Very quick service! Visited at least three other places; completely booked, needed reservation. This one did the work without a reservation.

While traveling from Charleston to Columbia I hit a pothole, resulting in a flat tire and bent rim. After 4-6 calls tracking down my tire size I found it at Discount Tire on Garners Ferry Rd. Upon arrival my damaged rim became the issue. The Discount Tire team, lead by Thomas, the store manager, did everything they could to get me back on the road. Thomas went above and beyond by putting my spare on and assisting me with finding someone to repair my rim. This was done without charge and with a smile on his face. After finding someone that could repair my rim I brought it back to Discount Tire, and Thomas, because of the service and communication with these folks. The entire team was extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Discount Tire for your next set of tires.

On the first of May 2021, I took my 2004 4runner to NTB to have the tires rotated and balanced. During that visit I warned them the tires were vibrating and had probably been improperly balanced when new. NTB told me they did the best they could and that 4 out of the 5 rims were bent. After some research I decided to go to Discount Tire and get their opinion. I explained the situation to Mike and stated that if I need to buy rims it is an option. He was sure the wheels had not been balanced properly. I can now say 3 weeks down the road Mike was right, they had never been balance right and the vehicle drives better than ever. Thank you!

Mackenzie and the crew hooked me up super quick! I came in at 12:15pm and they had me driving out of the garage with all new tires at 1pm. Only left my car to pay, got to sit in my vehicle while they changed them all. Great experience. I bought my tires from this Discount Tire store last year Nov 2019 and have been very happy thus far with my purchase. The associates in the store are very helpful and all the technicians Ive worked with either in balancing my tires or getting free air checks have been great too. Theyre always professional, nice and timely in their work. Thus far best experience Ive had with any tire/mechanic shop before, 10/10 would recommend!

I went in to Discount tire with a slow tire leak that I couldnt solve myself. They located the issue (which happened to be a nail) and patched the hole in a little over an hour. Best part is that this service is free for anyone who had their tires installed at Discount tire. Always happy with their service and quality!

I had an appointment at 4:30. They got to me at 5:10. They have a huge area inside that can acomendate reasonable social distance but you have to sit outside in the hot sun.They have a young guy there, appears to be maybe 15 years old. He was the one who was balancing my tires. He would talk to himself and shake his head and look bewildered especially when he got to one tire. He add a lot of weight. Im not a tire expert but if you only have a slight vidration when you bring your tires and they add a bowling ball wt. Something is not correct. I told him and an someone else but they assured me they knew what they were doing. I calked my wife as I pulled out told her I would be later that I knew I would be going back. On the interstate felt like I had a square tire on the front. Called them turned around went right back and they got me right back in. Same young guy took off the tires and another guy who I suppose was in management rebalanced them. When he got tobthe one in question he looked at me pointed at the tire and shook his head. I told him that I told 2 people and NOTHING. Same young guy put the tires and wheels bsck on and the next morning I notice a center cap is missing. Didnt even call back. Whats the point. Screwed uo 2 times I figure thats enough. HE NEEDS MORE TRAINING!!!!

Keep having to get sensors calibrated for tires they wont replace the bad sensor being real cheap and Ive been there 5 times for the same problem bad sensor

We had a flat tire and was told that. Discount Tire was the place to go, very courteous staff, Masks are required for indoors and public bathrooms. You can stay in your car and they come and get you when they are ready. Not a long wait. Very professsional.

This place is awesome. I was able to schedule and appointment online. They fixed my tire quickly and didnt even charge for it. The staff was friendly and very engaged. I strongly recommend this location if you need any tire work.

Ive been here on 2 separate occasions and both times the staff were beyond helpful and friendly. They dont try to make money off of you here. My husband went in for minor tire issues and they were able to help him. But most of all he was impressed with the customer service and level of professionalism he experienced. This is an excellent tire shop. Ive been here twice, and the staff has been incredibly helpful both times. Quick service too. During my most recent visit, they removed a nail from my tire and patched it up withing 30 minutes, and this service was even complimentary! When the time comes to buy a new set of tires, I will definitely give these guys my business.

I just want to give the guys at Discount Tire a shout-out! I was out with my son and his family on Friday when we had a flat tire. This could have been a disaster given we had a toddler in the car. Fast and professional service!

Always loved using Discount. But this location was not the best. Ordered tires, they called and asked us to bring our car in even though we had dropped it the day before. Told me it would be done at 11am. Went after work and 5 and they had just started it. Called to tell me it was ready for pick as we were at the store. Very unorganized

I came in with one tire leaking air and it was estimated to take 2 hours to fix and that a new tire wasn’t required. It took 2 hours just for them to pull my vehicle into the garage. A 5th wheel trailer showed up an hour after me and got fixed before I left. Total time took 2 and a half hours for a leaking tire.

Had new valve stems put in at this location, staff was very helpful and completed my service within 10 minutes.

I called today about getting a quote for tires on my truck and gave Jamal the wrong size by accident. (I don’t know anything about cars or tires) He was extremely rude and not understanding at all, his tone of voice was harsh and condescending and he sounded annoyed almost. Then... he hung up on me. I’m upset bc I’ve gotten tires from this location once before and received amazing service so I wanted to go back. Well after today I guess I won’t be. I hate getting terrible customer service, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth for the entire company 😡

Im giving 3 stars instead of 1 because the person who tried to help me was really nice, and did try. But I wont be going back here. I made an appointment because I know Saturdays are busy. Ive been a DT customer for 10 years. I recently moved to SC. Anyway, I made this appointment for 10:45 and at 11 they hadnt even started the 10:30 appt which means I was going to have to wait up to an hour, in the heat. No thanks. Ive been to the Lexington location and had a great experience, so I will be going there from now on.

I had a blowout while driving and I was fortunate enough to have a spare tire to get me to discount tire. They were willing to replace my blowout and put my spare back under my truck for me even though I got there about 5 min before they were supposed to close. They showed me what options they recommend for my particular vehicle and did not rush me what so ever. Everyone was extremely friendly. I can see why others rated them so high on Google and I agree with them. 5 stars for sure.

I have had to go here a few times in the past few months. But the road hazard package! I had a large screw in my tire, they did ask any questions or say anything, just got a brand new tire as advertised. However they charge a small fee to insure the new tire. The manager Rodney is a good dude. Friendly staff.
