Took my 1998 Chevrolet 3500 Express van there for a quote and the short guy with dark hair quoted me a ridiculous price of $1600+. Funny how it went from $600 from a previous visit a few months prior. Ive never seen him before but Econo was under $600, well under and Eric provided great customer service.

I have a friend that is a mechanic and he ordered me a new mirror for my car but ordered the wrong color, went to Maaco to have the new one replaced, the ended up taking the cap off the old one and putting it on the new one and mounting it on the car for me free of charge...... All together saving me about $100. Although the amount is small the Customer Service was beyond my expectations..... Thank you so much for just being Great❣❣❣

My new-to-me 2006 Highlander was immaculate on the inside and a great find. Unfortunately, the hood had so much fading and chipping that it took away from the rest of it. Danny and Brandon treated me well. My budget didnt allow for a total paint job, but they came up with a great solution. The hood and top of the fenders were painted and blend beautifully into the existing paint. I cannot tell you how pleased I am.

Today me and my boyfriend, went to get scratches removed that i made by accident on his car by backing up, i was trying to avoid hitting his other car! that didnt work lol! so we went and got a quote from across the street! they told him it had to be painted. so he was ready to pay the price .he said let me check out Maaco first. guess what it didnt need painting, a great guy name Ryan came out with a rag and paint thinner and just rubbed the spots off! amazing!!! he didnt even charge for what he did! he said he wouldnt just take his money for nothing! great customer service! thanks Ryan at the {DECKER ] location!

I had some fender well damage, and Brandon told me I could bring my car in the same day I called about it. He was able to remove the part within five minutes and didn’t charge me for it. I’ll definitely return if I ever need body work done after how friendly he was!
So I went in yesterday to get an estimate on fixing the dent in my passenger side door. I was thinking several hundred dollars at least. The gentleman, (I hate I didnt get his name) disappeared inside the building for two minutes and came out with one of the maintenance men, (didnt get his name either). He took this machine and popped the dent out in 2 seconds.i was totally shocked!! I tried to pay them something and they wouldnt hear of it!! They were friendly, extremely professional and really happy to see the look on my face when my door was fixed. I know this sounds silly to some, but they could have easily taken the car in the back done the same thing, but charged me several hundred dollars, because I wouldnt have known any different. So their integrity and professionalism was greatly appreciated!!!😁

I had the best experience at Maaco this on Decker Blvd. In Columbia this morning. These people were sent by God to help relieve my stress and they went beyond, to help me. They made no money yet gave me the best customer service Ive ever received.I would recommend this place to anyone looking for honesty and excellent customer service. I was impressed with everything. The two people I dealt with were Jen and Danny both sweethearts. I offered my hand to Danny and he gave me a big hug and told me to not worry Id be just fine. They both hugged me thru my tears and confusion 💔 and made it all better. May God bless them for their kindness.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Went here to get my bumper replaced and a paint job. Well two months later the bumper start coming apart and had to get it replaced by Dwight body shop in Orangeburg!! Well Dwight went to replace the bumper as well as paint the bumper and the paint job that macco did didn’t match the factory paint...big waste had to get the entire car repainted. Called to complain but didn’t receive a call back or email. Again DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!
My 20 year old car looks new. Its been 6 months and she still looks great. If your on a budget and want a good paint job, this is a place to consider
My wifes car, a 2001 Honda Civic, had extensive clearcoat failure on the hood and roof, and some rust on the door window sills. Danny and Holly took excellent care of us, gave us an outstanding price on their mid-range package, and had everything completed faster than we anticipated. The car looks new! Were beyond pleased, and our well-loved car will look great for years to come, thanks to the fine folks at the Maaco on Decker Blvd. Highly recommended!Also, Im not sure what the person below meant about the military discount. Danny was happy to give me a discount as a veteran, and it was both unexpected (we didnt ask; he volunteered it) and greatly appreciated.

I placed a call to the shop to inquire about a paint service..after being told to come to the shop,I parked and was told that the only person there at the front desk really didnt want to talk to me because he was too busy stuffing his face with a sandwich why would you tell me to come there if you couldnt see me I just decided to leave the building because you dont need my money if you cant talk to me about the service that Im coming to find out about.. I just got the feeling that my money or my time being wasted coming to the place was really important to them so I would rather have a trained monkey paint my vehicle then come up there and give you my good hard earned money and being treated with less a valued customer bottom line is I dont have to do business with you which is why Im leaving this results I was far less impressed..
I needed to get a paint job and some body work done. I went to Maaco and met Holly. She was very professional and honest which is something I value. She gave me a quote for the work which was very reasonable. The paint job was done in a very timely fashion. The car looks new now. I would highly recommend this place. I have been to a lot of body shops and experienced a lot of grief. This is not one of those places.
Very unhappy with the work. When we first went to speak with Maaco we were shown employee cars that were painted there and of course they looked great. All other customer cars that had been painted were inside gate so you couldnt see them up close. We decided to go with Maaco as it looked like good work. My car needed to be painted from factory paint fading. Went back to pick it up and expressed that I was not happy with the dullness and orange peel and could still see spots where original paint faded ( we did choose to go with the upgraded package also at $1100) In all fairness manager offered to keep and fix it. Went back a week later and was told it was repainted a 2nd time. This time theres trash in the paint. The manager offered for me to bring it back at a later time to try to fix again. However I will be taking it elsewhere to be fixed correctly. I would recommended spending a little more and going somewhere else for a truly professional paint job.
After my fender bender I visited 3 other shops I went with Maaco. Very personable staff and best priced for the job. Suggest you guys dont waste your time or gas going anywhere else!
This was a great experience here at Maaco of Columbia. It started with the stellar customer service by Tammy - with her very warm greeting, knowledge/experience and her honesty! The paint job was completed withing less than the time frame provided and the result was a great paint job on our Jaguar S-type. We are very pleased with our entire experience and recommend to others.

I really thought customer service was dead until we worked with Maaco on Decker Blvd. They did a great job painting our car at a great price, and a few weeks later, someone backed into it while we were enjoying dinner at a relatives house; therefore, we needed a front end repair and paint job done. On the repaint, quality work was done once again, but this time, there was a little issue that presented itself. Options were given, accepted, and carried out only to still have the original conflict still present. We had a rather unique situation that could have fallen to lack of satisfaction on our side of things, but the decision to put customer first was made by Dan. He was a true professional in handling such a rare and cumbersome issue with empathy, jovial conversation, and the grit to make the call to satisfy the customer. Holly was most helpful as well; she even saw a little issue on our other vehicle and tried for a quick push in of the back bumper on her way to get the painted car from the back area. Also, kudos to the personnel in the shop work area that we never interacted with because, when all is said and done, the end result is beautiful. They did a good job repairing a dent my neighbor put in the door - only reason they arent getting 5 stars is because it took a really long time to fix a small issue. I went to pick it up and they said they had to redo something because something messed it up somehow before I picked it up - I was glad they recognized the mess up instead of trying to give it back undone, but really sucked not having my car for weeks. The associate that helped me was great though- so other than it taking a lot longer than I hoped - it was a good experience!

Great place to have your car painted they have a oven and they do not let your car air dry like other places
Paint job was good, but when I got my car back it had scratches on the window and on the paint. There was running off from where they painted and paint on my windows. My car has buttons on the door handles which were also painted over. I also have called and called and left messages for them to please pay for the damage done to my window yet they have not called me back even after they said they would have it fixed. I trusted them with my vehicle and they seemed to have treated it like a piece of junk. I will be calling them again but my hopes is that they will see this review. Staff was friendly but then again Im not paying for polite staff. Im paying for a well operated, professional, business . If you are looking for that then do not go here. I paid $2000 to have my car painted black, and new damage done on it from them. Not recommending to anyone!
I think the person I spoke to was trying to get over on me so I went down the street to Econo paint and body. Got the same work done $500 less and the quality of work was just as good if not better
I went there today because someone hit my car at work,I wanted to see how much would it cost to get it repaired.The young lady at the front desk walk with me to my car she looked at the damage then she hit the area 4 or 5 times and knock it back in place with her hands. She could of lied an gave me a estimate and charged me a price for the repair but she didnt. Businesses now and days are all about that dollar and keeping their doors open.Im glad to know that we still have honest people that look at you as a human being first rather then a cash grab.I will recommend this Maaco to everyone and everbody because of this kind act.....Thanks Maaco...

I went in to get my 2006 BMW 750li passenger fender repaired after accident. Holly gave me a great estimate and really did everything she could to work with me and get everything fixed at a reaonable . Great friendly staff and the paint looks great. Definitely recommend!!

Great, I was under the gun time wise and I was all set at another body shop, but then they said they wont paint and install parts if the owner brings it in. I contacted Maaco and they said no problem, they even lets us keep the car until they were ready to install the new bumper I bought and gave to them. The people at Decker Blvd. Maaco were nice and friendly and worked with me so I could get the bumper fixed on my sons car. Dropped off bumper and had it back on the car within a couple days, when my son had off work, we dropped the car off and got it back in a couple of hours. they do great work and cant thank them enough for fixing my sons car. SO super high marks to the gang on decker blvd., and I wont hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

This is a revised five star estimate. I left my glowing appraisal due to the fact that they did and excellent job in painting my car. My less than stellar additions are due to the fact that I recently discovered that the shop removed and failed to reinstall the rear mud guards. My wife and myself constantly indicated that something seemed a little off but just couldnt determine what was different. Yesterday when washing the car it became obvious that there seemed a large void between the rear wheel and the inside of the fender as I certainly did not recall being able to easily see inside the wheel well. I looked up a picture of a Prius and voila, a small flap was missing. I called Maaco, explained the missing detail, indicated that I certainly did not remove and the car has never been in an accident thus no need to remove. Rather than admit that they had removed the part, they indicated that they would never remove the part but tape around same. Considering that the part is only held on with a couple of clips, it would have only taken minimum effort and a few seconds to remove, far less effort than taping. The fact that the new paint matches perfectly on the body and under the former splash guard further indicated that the part was removed and not reinstalled.The replacement part I ordered today cost me $44.95. This is not life changing and installation should take only minutes. The fact that a Maaco would insist that they did not remove and unwillingness to accept responsibility certainly lowers my opinion. I have included two pictures, one of a Prius with mud guards and mine without the guards. You be the judge of how easily it would be to forget to re-install and perplexing as an owner to determine that something is a little off. Reputable companies should be willing to admit a mistake and take corrective measures.I had three estimates to have my car repainted due to significant peeling of the clear coat on my hood, roof and rear. Each estimate was only to repair the damage only. Maaco painted the entire car for 1/4 of the lowest estimate received. It would be an understatement to simply indicate that I was pleased. It looks as perfect as the day I purchased the car new. I took to car in on Monday afternoon and it was ready for pickup Thursday. I cant imagine a better paint job, regardless of the price. These guys are professionals and do quality work.

I called before going to this Macco Facility to make sure that I would be able to get a quote. I was told that wasnt a problem. The second I pulled up the first words that were rudely spoken to me were We wont paint that car . She then said that it was to much liability. First of all she wasted my time because of her ignorance. A 1994 dodge viper blue books for $18-$20K. You can find them online all day between $30-$35K. This means that this business is so inapt that it cant insure a car thats less than $35K in value. True pathetic!

The male employee apparently doesnt care for our military because he said he wouldnt even give us an estimate because we have USAA insurance. In addition, while I was waiting for him to take care of another customer, he decides to go to a vehicle to berate a young man, who apparently worked for Enterprise Rental Car company. I eventually spoke with a regional manager, who, I believe did taken care of the issue. Also the paint fumes in the customer waiting area was so bad, I had to step outside. Until I know personally that things have changed, I will keep the one star rating up.
This is for the shop on Decker Blvd in Columbia, SC: I had a collision where my side view mirror was hanging off by the wire and the front bumper/vender was damaged. My insurance agency approved an estimate from another body shop but they couldnt get me an appointment until 2 weeks! I decided to go to Maaco. The CSR lady looked at the estimate and was like why are they going to blend the hood? She said since the damage was to the bumper/vendor you need to blend at eye-level because to blend the hood would be more money. She got a guy from the back to confirm. He then added that it would be a slight difference in color with the paint. I asked how slight because I dont want a two-toned color car. I reminded her that thats probably why they are blending the hood as well. She sensed my disapproval and agreed to draw up their estimate the same way as the other body shop and she said shed email their estimate the NEXT day and they would get me in right away. I never received an email or phone call. Even if their estimate wouldve been slightly more, a courtesy call wouldve been nice stating that Unfortunately our estimate was slightly higher but we are still able to get you in right away etc... Just to be clear, price was never an issue with me, this is something she assumed. I just didnt want to drive my car around looking the way it did for 2 weeks. While I didnt actually get any work done from them, the customer service could use some improvement. While I dont technically have a complaint, I was disappointed enough to not contact them again to ask for an update. As a business, YOU should follow up with all clients and/or potential clients.

We took the car there to get the hood, mirrors and front bumper painted, bc a truck lost a lot of little rocks and damaged the front.Once the car was done, there was overprint on the rims, drips and bubbles on the hood and they had overprint in the hood by the engine.
