My oil service was performed in a timely manner. The waiting area is nice and comfortable. My service was done correctly without any issues nor did I have any issues with my vehicle after driving it on a trip. Jim Hudson is a great place to purchase and to get your vehicle serviced. They have a very professional staff and an updated facility.

He was professional and followed up with what was needed even after the sale. The actual paperwork process required a lot of waiting around for several hours but the waiting area was clean and a few snacks were available.

Advertised a 2020 Honda Pilot Elite AWD with 16,472 miles for 45,902 plus tax, tag, title. Nice vehicle but the price was a tad over what I consider retail value after doing some research, so we tried negotiating to 45,000 OTD (a fair offer in my opinion considering they probably paid at most 40,000 for it through trade). Dealer rep stated via text that they could do 46,500 OTD and would only negotiate further in person. So we went to see the vehicle in person. Vehicle actually had 17,009 miles, had an open TSB through Honda for infotainment screen, speaker crackling issues. The speakers popped and crackled the entire test drive even with the system off and the rear wiper was missing a decorative cap. Furthermore, the dealer inflated the NADA retail value by adding a cargo package and tow package to the NADA description which the vehicle did not have and listed the mileage as 16,400. Regardless of the issues experienced during the test drive, I was still willing to take my chances if I could purchase the vehicle for 45,000 OTD (my original offer prior to discovering the issues), so we go inside to negotiate. We sit at a desk for 15 minutes before the manager appears and instantly states the price I was told over the phone (46,500) is the best they can do and if we dont like it we can go down the street to Midlands Honda where their used Pilots have 20,000 miles. Needless to say we walked out.Approximately 15 minutes later I get a barrage of calls, texts and voicemails stating they are suddenly able to do 45,000 OTD.Professionalism goes along way in sales, had the manager acted more professional and valued our time, we may have purchased the vehicle.

Dont bother place is a joke.last year brought my car in for service.my lug nuts were stripped,rusted or bowed.the guy assured me he would order them.....nothing.wemt again in mid oct still same problem.the kid at the desk Damian said hed order them and come in mon.didnt hear anything.waited couple weeks called back.lady said she would look into it and call me back.2weeks later I called ....again! Carol answers phone assured me she would find out first thing mon morning and call me.tues havent heard anything.pretty sad laziness still gets rewarded with a paycheck.im done with them

Only came here for a recall and for the convenience had other work done. They said I refused work and I would have loved to have my oil leak fixed especially since it was a pretty simple repair and they were in there but nope never even asked me. When I made the appointment I made it clear I had to pick up my kids by 4:30 and I was told that wouldnt be a problem. I dropped off my car at 8 am for a 10:30 appointment, my car wasnt done until 5. Also feel like they severely over charge

The issue is always the lack of communication. Im paying for a service but I have to call multiple times to receive information about my vehicle. Its not just a one time thing its every single time I drop my vehicle off. I dont know until I call and even then its vague. But what can you do when you are the only dealership in a 20 mile radius that services GMC vehicles. Complain and keep coming back!

I waited almost 2 hr. 30 minutes, only to find out the parts for the recall servicing was not available. Had I been informed earlier I could have made a later appointment for the recall servicing and would have been able to make my pedicure appointment.

I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. The service lady told me it would take 2 hours. I said okay. The 2 hours turned into 3 1/2 hours. I was finally asked by I think his name was Mr. Neil did I need any help. I told him Ive been here for 3 1/2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. He checked on my car and said it was being washed. He came back when the car was ready. He was very apologetic and discounted the bill. I appreciated his customer service which was outstanding. I noticed when I got to where I was going my tires werent rotated. I called back on Monday spoke with the service supervisor and he told me to bring it back on Tuesday morning. I did and the service was great. I appreciated everyone correcting the issue. The service was great again. Thanks

Jim Hudson had the best deal on new tires in town. I have an older vehicle and their service technicians take the time to identify any issues that need correcting to keep the car safe and dependable. While doing a 4 wheel alignment, the service technician noted the tie rod ends needed replacement, a definite safety issue.

I had an engine light come on and I was low on fuel. I had OnStar so I asked them to run a diagnostic test of the car which they did and I was in the country about 50 miles from Jim Hudsons dealership. OnStar ran the test and told me the error message was referencinga problem with the fuel vapor system. They said it should be okay to drive, but I should take it in within the week. That was on Monday and I took it in on Wednesday. Had it serviced, spark plugs replaced, throttle body cleaned, tires rotated and it drove like a new car when I picked it up that afternoon. Excellent service. Thats the reason I have traded w/Jim Hudson since he opened his first dealership in 1981.

I showed up for a schedule appointment for a part to be place on my vehicle. I was told that the part was ready and to set my appointment. Well I arrived and they told me the part was not ready and that they meant to call me even I pushed the time back and no still didn’t tell me my part wasn’t ready. So now I have to set another appointment up which they couldn’t tell me when they would have the part ready. I already took a day off to have the part put on the car. Next I got an oil change and it took over 2 hours to get an oil change. Not good at all!

I feel like I just got robbed without a gun. I took my cts in to get my door release fixed because it wouldnt lock once I close the door. They fixed that problem but once I got home the door wouldnt open from the inside.. I setup a appointment to get it looked at and was told it would be over 400$ to repair. I said I wasnt paying 400$ and was told well itll be 152 for the diagnosis.. you guys lost a loyal customer. And Neil Moseley handled both transactions.. if your guys broke something just fix it without getting over on your customers

I asked my service rep. before driving off had the roof wire been removed he confirmed the wire was cut however when I arrived home the same wire was hanging from the hood like before… although I can simple cut the wire myself I though I had rid myself of the task while getting my car serviced 😟

The ABSOLUTE WORST service department EVER!!!!!1st - Went there to get an oil change. Waited well over 1.5 hours. I just happened to look. My car was sitting there. No one called to say it was ready or anything. Have of the service department went to lunch at the same time. Who does that?????2nd issue - I got an email about a recall in January. I called the part is not available Called again in February part not available. This went on til about July. Called in July. They told me they were ordinary the part as it was now available. From Juky to now the part is not available. Almost 10 months. I really believe they are trying g to stall out . They never call to give an update on status with anything. I never bought a car here and never will.

Worst customer service ever from the manager! He was shadey and lied during the whole process. First, off he tried to say the car we looked at had no damage or accidents while the back bumper had a huge crack in it and was askew. Second, while running credit for the car his best estimate was off by $200, yet he has been in the business for a long time. I have bought 5 vehicles in my lifetime and never dealt with someone so uneducated in their career. Third, when he ran my credit he assured me that he only ran it through only one bank and it was one of their best. He reassured me it was ONLY the one bank because the others were closed, only to find out the moment I got home that he ran it through 14 banks!!! I would never deal with this place again nor send anyone to look for a vehicle there. The salesman was new and not super knowledgable but even he admitted to his managers poor service and stupidity. Do not believe the hype of voted best turns out they just monopolized the area so really they are the only big dealership in the area.

I appreciated the extended test drive I got to take before making the decision to purchase my vehicle. Matt worked with me to get the best deal on my new ride. Although in the end they were able to resolve the issue it took 67 days and in the last few months it was due to my efforts dealing with the paint shop the chose and stayed with even though the truck went back over 5 times. To me this is unacceptable and for that reason I’m not comfortable with sending others there. I felt like the service department wanted to go elsewhere but the higher management said no.

Bought my GMC Yukon 3/4 weeks ago from what I know now as this unorganized/deceiving establishment. Issue is still ongoing! From day 1, when we test drove the vehicle the brakes were noisy. Salesman lied and said he spoke with service supervisor. Let’s continue! Called customer service line and they referred us to Jim Hudson Ford to service the vehicle due their service department being backed up. Technician at their Jim Hudson Ford Dealer stated you have faulty brakes! Technician there, Contacted Ben Green, who use to work at Jim Hudson Ford, and Neil the service supervisor at Jim Hudson GMC by email, and reached out to them by phone about the issue, and they won’t return Jim Hudson Ford Technicians call. I called Ben Green myself about the issue and he claims he will call and do what’s right! Another lie! Jim Hudson Ford has yet to hear from him or Neil regarding this issue. Left a message for the GM of Jim Hudson GMC no response! We financed the Yukon for 38k. My wife and I trusted they were people of their word, but they are not. Deceiving business and Mr Hudson should be ashamed of his employees! Money is not the issue for our family, it’s the principle of the situation!! I don’t recommend business with them at all

It was terrible, I feel almost fraudulent. I had an appointment and after waiting 2.5 hours had to go out to the service counter to find out what was taking so long for a diagnosis. I asked that I be kept informed and more than an hour later was told a repair would cost more than $1300. I had previously has a scan of my GMC Sierra system at another location and was told an emissions control sensor costing $82 needed to be replaced. The service staff was unhelpful. I’ve spent $3-4,000 the past several years at JimHudson and was thinking about buying a new truck there. But now will never go back. Better to go to a witch doctor than to JimHudson GMC.

The service department here is horrible. My mother purchased her Buick from this dealership and continued to have it serviced by them. Recently she has had to take her car back almost monthly for expensive issues to be addressed. More recently they have had her car for weeks, “waiting on the part”, they have not been in contact with her. She has reached out to the service manager multiple times with no assistance. They have had her vehicle, left her without transportation, and did not even offer a loaner vehicle. My siblings and I had to scramble to let her borrow our vehicles to get around. For the amount of money they are charging to fix the most recent issue, this is unacceptable. She will not bring her car back here and I urge other customers to take this review into consideration before bringing your vehicle here. I have had a BMW and now a Lexus and the service my elderly mother has experienced is very disappointing and very different from Jim Hudson Lexus. Jim Hudson Buick definitely needs to do better!

We were in the hunt for a new Sierra 1500 Denali and with the market so hot right now it was difficult to find the right color / drivetrain combination. We visited once and drove a 6.2L but the color was not of interest, and remaining inventory was all 3.0L diesel, which I was not familiar with. We held from there as we agreed the salesman would alert us to new inventory. Fast forward a couple weeks and we decided to drive a diesel version even though the color we were interested in (deep red) was not in stock - however one was in transit. We alerted our salesman of our intended arrival and showed up on time, however he was unavailable - he was the free salesman and had to take customers coming in, which I understand. We were handed off to an undeniably new salesman, who was very nice but never knew his name throughout our 2 test drives and multiple conversations. He had no office so while we were waiting for him to retrieve the vehicles we had to sit in a corner of the salesroom floor, out of sight and mind we joked. We liked the diesel and wanted to put something down on the red unit coming in to hold it, so when it arrived we could drive it and decide if it was the one we wanted. We were told if we are committing we have to follow through, as we are denying them a sale to another customer as a result. I have purchased many a car (new) and this was unorthodox, but under the circumstances we committed. We were at the tail end of incentive offerings and since the truck was not coming in until after they ended I wanted to be sure they would be honored, and was told yes they would. Truck was due on the following Tuesday (we were there Saturday) and incentive end was that week. Truck did not arrive and was told we needed to come in and complete the sale to keep the incentives - when later I found it was to meet their month end sales targets. The truck did eventually come in and we ended up buying it, albeit the process didnt really improve. Salesman while very nice and knowledgeable was not returning my calls even after specifically asking for one when requested by text and voicemail. Prefers to use text as means of communication. Was told trade would be paid off 3 days after driving off the lot and two weeks later the loan remains outstanding. If it was really going to be two weeks just tell me so we can adapt. Business manager was very nice and made valiant attempts to accommodate but in my opinion the damage had been done. There is more to the story but this is the theme overall. We have experienced it once, and doubt we ever will, again.

Outstanding dealership!! I worked with Matt Hickey and his team and let me tell you they work some magic! I walked in yesterday to just look at some options as I was selling my older truck privately the next day. I had received a few appraisals for it already and didn’t like the numbers so I just waited and got an offer for what I wanted on the private end. Well, they wanted to earn my business so bad that they offered to give me on trade exactly what I was selling it private for! That was about $4,000 more than I had been appraised at previously by other dealerships. I couldn’t pass it up, so through further negotiation I not only got over $9,000 off MSRP on a brand new truck but they also came up even higher and gave me an additional $1,000 on top of what I would have sold it for privately. WOW! Amazing people that take pride in what they do. Thank you Matt and Jim Hudson.

I do hate the fact that GMC is only selling SUVs, do NOT like SUVs myself, I love the Buick Lacrosse, and the convertible one. My only other downside, is I really wanted to know a price that you would charge to fix whatever is wrong with my buick so I can plan/evaluate it, but only giving me a vague idea (either an exhaust problem with catalytic converter or my oxygen sensor) those I already knew, and wanting to charge me $152.00 just for an estimate is alittle high? That is my biggest complaint.

I cant say enough good things about Matt Hickey. He went far beyond my expectations, and made this by far one of the easiest vehicle purchases that I have ever made. He has kept great communications with me, even after the sale to make sure that I am happy with my purchase. Matt would be a true asset to any dealership, but I sure am glad that Jim Hudson Automotive Group has him.

The service writers are EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!! On the management in the shop need to be up front with customers when the shop is short on help. Customer began to get to get upset once they arrive at 9:00 and dont leave until 3:00.Thank you

Tom was professional and spent a lot of time with me...I took my time deciding what to purchase. I actually ordered a truck and Tom kept me informed of how that was progressing. He knew a lot of details concerning what the new truck was capable of. Tom was always direct and patient with my foot dragging. All in all, this was a very pleasant experience. JAS

Went there for an oil change, had an appointment. Ended up spending two and a half hours there. After the wait I asked how much longer and I was told that they were washing my car. When I looked out to see where my car was it was just sitting at the car wash. I asked one of the guys to bring me my car cause I had to pickup my daughter from school. I was very disappointed with the service. That is why people go to the 5 minute oil change, it never takes longer than 20 minutes.

The dealership did not perform all services requested even though my car was at the dealership all day. I received a text letting me know my car was ready after 4pm. No one called to let me know what services were performed. It wasnt until I came to pick my car up that I was told all they did was an oil change. Very aggravated and disappointed.
