Dont come here, old greedy dude. Tried to convince me a million things were wrong with a PC I just built. He didnt know i build computers all the time. Tried to get me to buy one of his computers when my computer cost three times as much, he would have had to pay me it was all said and done 😅 Dont come here.

Awful service & rude owner. will make you seem like you know nothing just so he can try and sell you his old items and cheap items, went in to buy a b450 motherboard (that was extremely overpriced, but i was in a rush) for my new gaming build and swore that it would work with my ryzen 5 3600, I knew it would because of the extensive research i did before hand but had forgotten he probably didnt due a bios update due to how old everything was inside. when i went back to ask if he could update my motherboard he said he would but asked me to bring in my stuff so he could put it together, giving him the benefit of the doubt i handed over my components over because he swore hes being doing this for decades and would not charge me anything. before i left he stated it will be quick and he would give me a call back... never got a call back and i had to personally go get and ask to receive my components back and when i did he told me the cpu wasnt working at all with the motherboard. he said he tested it and it was the weirdest thing hes ever seen and proceeded to try and make me buy one of the cpus he had because he tested them on the motherboard and said his worked just fine.keep in mind this cpu is brand new. I decide to go to another computer store because i knew he had to be lying to sell me his items. when i went to their other location they told me that everything was working just fine and that the owner probably just didnt insert the GRAPHICS CARD for the cpu to post. got home and built the pc myself without any issue (so much for the experience huh) 0/10 recommend this computer store they just want your money and are extremely outdated, overpriced and obviously dont know what theyre doing.

Please do not go here, this man will rip you off. I was in a bind and needed a power supply. I went in he sold me one he assured me would work and was the best for the money. Well it didn’t work. He doesn’t accept returns and to top it off he sold me a power supply for $69.99 that cost 19.99 on amazon and Walmart. I also bought an optical drive that he sold me for $34.99 I knew that was high but I needed it that day. Well it doesn’t work either and again no returns worst experience of my life. I spent $100 for parts that cost $31.00 on amazon that I cannot use and cannot return. I essentially had $100 taken with no working product in return. I have never had someone lie to face like this and not be willing to fix the issue. STAY AWAY!!!!!

Just got back from Custom Computers,My system is in GREAT shape, Better then the day I got it. I know ill be going backfor my Computer needs!!! Thanks Guys. Also have to say, The people were friendlyand very kind. They worked with me and my son, and taught us things and tricks on surfing the web safely, along with one of the employees who got my son interested in computer game design and sat with him to show him the quick ropes of making a video game.. THANKS so much.

I have been using Custom Computers since I got my very desktop computer in 2000. Mr. Russo is wonderful. He and his staff are very knowledgeable and I only trust them to work on my computers. My husband even bought his business laptop from Custom Computers. Excellent computer business!

Very helpful when I was trying to find parts for something I was building and needed odd ball parts for.

NOT HAPPY. WILL NOT GO THERE AGAIN.I took in my moms computer for general cleanup and virus scan. They were nice and polite until it came time to pay. The owner himself came to check me out at the cashiers desk. The bill was $$ more than they had quoted.Me: What did you do differently than the price you quoted?Owner: I dont know, but thats what it is!——— WHAT??Me: You should have called me for approval if it was going to be more than what you quoted when I brought it in.Owner: Well, we never know what were going to do until after weve done it.———WHAT??

This will be my third computer to buy from there. Had great service with the others. However, I recently bought a laptop that has had lots of issues. I was there for the third time with this new laptop when the owner called over an employee to lift a box since they are moving. My being there and my being irritated because I have made three trips back with the same laptop did not over ride his need to have a box lifted. I left there with my computer not fixed. I have gone to Best Buy and spent another $500 for a computer that hopefully will do what theirs was supposed to do. The customer service was horrible. Do not buy from there. They do not think customer service is a priority.

This guy is a liar he cant even manage jow much money he gets in. I got a Coolermaster H500 case, then he goes and orders the NZXTs H500 case because its $30 cheaper so he can make extra money. When i say its the wrong case, he tries to tell me they are the same tjing. He ends up saying he will order the right case and doesnt even order it at all, then promises he will call me when it gets in when he didnt even order it! Never go to buy anything here not even if it is neccessary! I cant believe this store has 4.1 stars!

Best and most reasonably priced computer guru in the area. Repairs computer issues other will not even attempt even souldering main boards.

To start..I am sure that this other comment was written by someone who works there. I took my computer in to get cleaned and upgraded. My computer never got cleaned like the guy told me he did. They had my computer for 3 days to do a upgrade and cleaning and when I got it back it still had dust and was overheating. They did the upgrade but the price did not match the level of service at all! I learned two things from this experience..dont pay someone to do what you know how to do (despite your time restrictions)...and I am never returning to Custom Computers on Lake Murray Boulevard!

Just do yourself a favor ..GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. REALY
