Great service when we were looking in the store. Once our furniture was finally in, it was easy scheduling delivery and the delivery truck worked with me on timing. The only negative was waiting 3 months for the furniture.
Very helpful staff located the chair I needed, and got it delivered within two days. Delivery was great, with delivery truck tracking app that kept me informed about when they would arrive. Oh, and the chair is great for someone recovering from broken ribs.
Our salesperson, Lynn Yoho, was professional and eager to assist us. She got our order written up and us out the door in no time. And no, we didnt feel rushed. My only negative regarding the Columbia, MD store (and I assume all other Lazy-Boy stores are the same) is that you cant walk in, pick something you like, and take it home. The majority of things must be special ordered with a wait time of 4 to 7 months! We were blown away by the timeline, however, we were so pleased by the comfort and quality of the furniture that we ended up ordering a piece anyway.

He greeted us at the door, asked if we need help, and let us take our time to look around. He was very knowledgeable, answered all our questions and if he didnt know, was quick to research. We will be back for other furniture in the future and definitely will ask for Mike.
I went into La-Z-Boy Columbia MD with my mom looking for a reclining chair for her bedroom. We went on a weekday evening attempting to beat the holiday weekend rush. This was the most enjoyable furniture shopping experience ever. Mike was extremely knowledgeable about the product he sells and was very sensitive to my mothers needs and budget. We went in for a look-see, we came out with the perfect chair. We will be back.
When we ordered it we were told it wouldn’t get to us till the end of November and we just had it delivered a few days ago. We love the couch!! Great Job!!!

I have been in this store a number of times, and each time the staff has always been professional and courteous. This was the first time I had made a purchase. I was able to take home a piece from the floor, so staff was there to help with that transaction and help lift the chair into my vehicle. Overall a very positive experience.

Beautiful show room. We were approached by a nice salesman, Craig who kept appropriate distance (pandemic and all) but asked if we wanted to see anything specific. We walked through the showroom and looked at a few pieces. He was able to keep us in a decent price range, gave us a few payment options, and we were able to get piece we wanted at an affordable price.
We (foolishly) brought our three children with us to look at couches and love seats. Our youngest was a bit wild, however the staff, particularly, Herb were patient and gracious throughout our searching and eventual buying process.Our experience was about as effortless as we could have hoped for (aside from the toddler), and we are certain to go back for our next furniture need.

He was with another customer when we arrived; he took a few minutes to point out different features and allowed us to shop in peace (so much nicer than someone hovering).The showroom is lovely; other staff were courteous too. This is one of the best experiences Ive had in any furniture store. The staff made sure I was taken care of in a professional way all while not over doing anything. They answered all of our questions promptly and honestly. When We were ready to make a purchase, the associate made sure we were comfortable and knew, not just guessing, what we were buying. The couch came within the time frame and was installed correctly with no damage to any of the furniture. This is one of the extremely rare times I would give a review 6 stars if I could. The furniture is the most comfortable I have ever sat on as well. La-Z-Boy lives up to the hype I grew up with.
Sales and design services were fabulous. They created a great space for our family that was a newly renovated space, fresh, modern and bright. It was a pleasure doing business with them and will use them again to do other rooms in our home.

The salesperson was very professional and pleasant. She allowed the time to make a decision on the chair I needed.I was very happy.
Back leg broke out after two week of use. It took over a month to get a tech out to even look at the sofa and it was not repairable. It then took almost another month to get it picked up and then I had to call to get my refund a week later. The sofa construction is fiber board. I would find somewhere else to buy furniture, the quality is suspect and the customer service is atrocious.
We found just the furniture we looking for and got it for a good price.
Sommers was our sales person there the other day at the Columbia location and was phenomenal. Very kind and handled stress from the New Years sales that increased clientele there that day; balanced it all very well. Highly recommend!! We went to several stores to find a comfortable and soft couch with pet protection and this store had everything we needed. I would even say the least comfortable couch (all were amazing) was better and more comfortable than all other “best option” couches from other stores. Will continue using this company in the future. As I am moving, I am definitely in need of plenty of furniture too!
We purchased a recliner chair and sectional sofa. We have not been having a pleasant experience. The recliner chair was delivered broken. I was told that I can not return it. A repairman did come out to service it, and fixed it. He said it was missing parts!! However, we are still having problems with it. I had to request that the a repairman come out for a second time. The people at the store have been very nice, but have been getting mixed messages about store policy. Trying to get in touch with customer service on the 1800 number has been impossible. And the saga continues...
We had a very pleasant experience at La-Z-Boy in Columbia, MD. Manasi took her time to figure out our style. Then made suggestions. She walked us around the showroom to show us different options and colors. When we finished, we were very pleased with the outcome.
The sales person was great and got me exactly what I wanted. The problem is that it will take 4 months before they can deliver and they don’t haul away the old furniture. Okay but not great for $2200.

The salesperson was polite and helpful. Ordered a custom fabric swivel chair in early October that wasn’t delivered until early March. Once I received an automated notification to arrange delivery there was confusion at the store about whether or not the chair was in the warehouse. After the fourth automated message the store finally arranged delivery. The chair was in perfect condition and looks great.
LaZBoy under promised and over delivered in a time (pandemic) where we were screwed over by other furniture stores. My parents still own their LaZBoy furniture from over a decade ago. High quality furniture for a fair price with great customer service. Cant ask for much more. Highly recommend.
Nice furniture but BEWARE if you try to return something within their 3 day window! Suddenly, not so friendly.They will give you every excuse in the book why they cant process your return.Buyers beware!And, when you peel back the onion, its really not quality furniture. Just high prices to make you think it is.

Just received my Jasper Lazy Boy recliner. It’s so comfortable and beautiful. The delivery guys were very nice and polite, no packaging was left behind. It took forever to get my chair 2 months and a week, but everything is slow right now because of COVID. Hoping to enjoy this chair for years to come

We had a great experience at La-Z-Boy in Columbia. Lynn greeted us quickly and was very friendly. She asked what we were looking for, what style we liked, and showed us a few options. No pressure at all. When we made a decision she had us rung up and out the door in 15 minutes. Will definitely go back for furniture again in the future.

I bought the Devon sectional. After 1 yr of light use, it started to show signs of wearing off. I have been for the last almost 2 1/2 yrs trying to have someone to help me and no help yet. I keep sending emails and pictures, have been on the phone (lot of the times just waiting for several minutes to talk to someone and no one answers), and no luck. The furniture is looking so horrible, very cheap, peeling off. I have been in the store, too, but just to be turned away. When I asked to please talk to the manager, the staff directed me to call b/c manager is busy. The staff was so nice to sell the product, but when it comes to help with issues, they have been very unhelpful. Definitively, shop around and dont even bother with buying the protection plan because it doesnt work. Sadly material looks nice, but it doesnt last. My Value City sofa looks good and better, and it is 12 years old!
I will never deal with this company again. I ordered a sofa in the beginning of January. I was told that it would be here by the second week of March. That date came and went and I called the manager who told me I should have never been quoted a date and that it was in fact in production but would not be in until the second week of April. Again, the date came and went and now I am being told May 15th. I understand that covid has backed up materials and that there may be less workers in the factories but I find these multiple missteps to be completely unacceptable. There are many other stores that provide quality products that you can purchase from. I wouldn’t waste your time with this company.

Herb was very helpful and patient with us. He let me try out all the recliners in the store. He also provided additional guidance as to the quality of the different styles of chairs. We purchased a rocking recliner that was on the floor and brought it home that day. It fits great in our room and is very comfortable.
Unfortunately it has been just over 5 months since I ordered 2 recliners and a sofa from La-Z-Boy. They finally offered to deliver the 2 chairs and NOT require full payment of order to get them. I did receive and one chair has a small tear in leather and other chair reclining mechanism is horrible. In addition I upgraded the cushions and even though it should not have effected my ability to have my feet touch the ground it sire has. Now comes the fun of getting the repairs done. So far I am disappointed with the experience.
Delivery was very smooth and no problems. The delivery persons wore masks and practiced social distancing. They laid out the rug for me and set up recliner. I received a text they would arrive in 10 minutes and they were in and out. Very efficient.

I needed a replacement blow-up mattress for a sleeper chair so I called the Columbia LaZboy store. No one answered so I left a message. When no one called me fir a couple days, I called again. I then talked to a sales person who said they had the mattress & gave me a price. After a few days, I called back to order the mattress. Again - I left a message. No one returned the call for several days. I called again & another sales person answered & said he would leave a message fir the original person to whom I spoke. She did not call for 2-3 days so I, again, called and finally spoke to her. She did then find that there were still mattresses available (she at first indicated there might not be) and one was ordered. There was a $100 delivery fee on top of the $240 cost if the mattress!
We had an idea of what we wanted in a sectional for our home theater (a.k.a. the man cave) but once we met with Mike he helped us find the perfect ensemble for our space. He was extremely helpful and patient (our 8 year old was shopping with us AND he had some of his own ideas). We highly recommend Mike and La-Z-Boy when you need comfortable seating for your home. This will be our 2nd sectional (the current one is in our family room and is well loved) and we expect to love this new one just as much.We received our customized sectional earlier than promised. It was delivered and assembled with great care.We discovered that we needed another section so we went back to see Mike and he, again, took great care of us. Much to our pleasure, the extra piece was available from the warehouse. We LIKE MIKE...we will definitely seek him out for all of our future home seating needs.

From the time we entered the La-Z-Boy store you immediately notice the high quality furniture. We worked with David at the Columbia MD location. The entire staff was very helpful assisting us with our furniture choice and design. It doesnt stop there. We had our furniture delivered and the delivery guys were top notch. I learned their delivery people are actually La-Z-Boy employees.They gave us notifications when our furniture was being delivered and were willing to work with our time schedule. The price was very competitive and the quality is much nicer than most stores. Will certainly buy again from La-Z-Boy. We would highly recommend.

I have been looking at the furniture from Lay Z Boy online for sometime now. Therefore, I decided to visit the nearest location in Columbia Maryland to take a look at what they had to offer. I wasnt surprised at what I saw on the showroom floor because I knew the design and quality of furniture would catch my interest. I am very satisfied with my selection and looking forward to the delivery.

I was able to make an appointment. I brought examples of the colors I wanted to use, and a swatch of my carpet. The store manager quickly selected some fabrics for me to consider based on these and a photo of the room and existing furniture. I was finished and out the door in under 20 minutes and am now looking forward to two beautiful, comfortable new chairs. Everyone followed COVID protocols with masks, social distancing, lots of hand sanitizer and patience. Very pleased with my experience.
EXCELLENT customer service. My wife and I found just what we were looking for, and with just the right amount of (non-intrusive) guidance from customer service. We give particular praise to Mike, whose customer service was on par with the very, very best weve experienced (and my wife used to work at Disney World, where customer service is top tier). Not at all pushy, saw us as people and not dollar signs, and very accommodating and professional. 5 out of 5 stars, for Mike and the La-Z-Boy store as a whole.
Excellent service. Listen to what type of recliner I wanted and showed me good examples. He even took into consideration my height and how well the chair would fit. He also took into account the color scheme of my room. I couldnt have asked for a better salesperson!!

The store was very clean and well-furnished. The customer service, however, was mediocre. We worked with Lynn, the manager (who was great the first time we stopped by) but seemed disinterested and somewhat impatient when we returned to purchase our couch (granted, it was Black Friday). Can’t speak to the quality of the furniture as we have not received it yet, but will update this review accordingly.
We worked with David at the Dobbin store. David was great! He was incredibly patient as we picked out the specific patterns we wanted for our pieces. Our kids went to the store with us, and as I was watching them, David would provide me updates from my wife. He was extremely helpful and we would buy from him again!
I went to the design consultation and it was very helpful. The design consultant gave me options and spent time to make sure I was happy with my selections. No pressure.Due to Covid, delay in getting furniture is 4-6 months. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

Ive been dying to purchase the Grayson leather sofa and recliners for the past two years. Unfortunately, they were outside my budget. Fast forward to Memorial day weekend, I made an appointment with with Lynn who has worked for La-Z-Boy for 10+ years for a site visit and estimate. Lynn was very knowledgeable and professional. She worked her magic and got the estimate and all the upgrades within my budget! Im currently building a new home, so if I need anything else I will definitely contact Lynn for assistance. We purchased the Aspen sectional and only had it about 8 months and the material began to fall apart. We are a household of 2 adults and no children. It took about 3-4 weeks to even get ahold of anyone. They would tell me someone would call to schedule a service call and then nothing would happen. I stopped in to see Manci that helped us when ordering the sectional and she said she would contact someone. Within 3-4 days I was contacted and pictures were taken and they decided to replace the sectional. Amazing right? Couldn’t ask for better service. Well that was about 4 months ago and we still do not have our replacement furniture. 🤷🏻♂️ I understand the Pandemic has stuff backed up but come on. We have moved and bought an an entire house of furniture and still don’t have the 2 recliners we ordered. I spent an hour on hold with customer care and she politely told me I should be happy it’s been 4 months and not 6. I even purchase other furniture and gave them more money along with ordering the replacement furniture. At this point I wish I would have just taken a refund or something. Lynn and Manci are awesome. La-Z-Boy quality just isn’t what it used to be. Definitely shop around.
I made an appointment to select 2 recliners. I had reviewed the selection on the website for type of recliner that I was looking for. I had narrowed it down two styles and called the store in Columbia to make sure that they had the style I was interested in so that I could make certain that they were the right size for my room and comfortable. Apparently what I saw on the website was not totally accurate but David, our salesperson, found us one that met our criteria and budget. It was a pleasant shopping experience, npw I just have to be patient until they arrive!

My order was 6 weeks late. I left messages and sent emails and did not get responses from three employees, including the store manager. Horrible customer service. I will not shop there again. Thousands of dollars of furniture requires good customer service.

They were courteous, efficient and took the time needed for me to run through my check list of items. Angel also instructed me in how to operate the bed and did so in a very good teaching manner. The staff at this store were extremely knowledgeable, personable and helpful. We needed two new recliners as replacements for older ones and we were extremely satisfied with the service. We have had La-Z-Boy recliners previously and are confident these new recliners will last a long time and provide a very comfortable fit.

The sales person (turned out she was the Manager) listened to our needs, discussed our interests and made multiple excellent recommendations. I would have liked to have been showndifferent fabric lines other than the one that came with the chair style I chose.Now I can’t wait for my chair to come!
