Jim has pulled my butt out of the fire many, many times over the past 20 years I have been dealing with him. I have never received a part that he or his staff has rebuilt that was faulty. I wish I could say the same for the other automotive parts store. I highly recommend here if you need a new starter, alternator, or one rebuilt! Best part is not only do I get a part I can count on, I save money as well!

I started going to Jims about 2 years ago. if any of my trucks have problems with the alternators or starters, hes my first call. He has always been more than fair with me, and Ive never had any issues with the work he does. plus his shop has been in the neighborhood, ehh... probably ever since alternators have existed... hes been there for a long while anyways.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL....Called to see availability of rebuilding a starter. Guy would not give an estimate. Was told to just drop it off and within an hour he would let me know. I called back several hours later to check. He had not got to it yet. Afew hours later I sent someone to pick it up because I never hurd back.He calls me back tells me it would be cheaper to get a new one and Quotes me $120.00 more the I can buy.I asked for the starter back. He gave it back in a box of parts and said he did not make anything so he was not reassembling the starter. He said he was short staffed and was not puting in the time to reassemble ths starter. Now I will most likley have to pay a core charge to get a new starter.Stay away from this place!!!
