There are some decent things in here.I was surprised at the great selection of women’s shoes.Clothes are a shot in the dark, as with any thrift store.Lots of odds and ends with dishes.There some actually new things I got here for great prices, like a water pitcher with a filter and a knife set.Overall, it’s worth checking out.

Prices have increased. You can still find some good deals, you just have to take your time and look. Store is clean and well organized.

They have pretty good clothes there but that was the only positive. every staff member except for my cashier were completely rude. i’ve said sorry to the staff when i or they were in the way and they said nothing. they never asked if my family or i needed help and i waited 10-20 mins for someone (staff) to unlock the restroom door for me to use it. the restroom was not clean and i felt as if i needed to wash my hands after i left the store itself. ok, but not the best.

Find any other thrift store or just go to another Ohio Thrift! Most Ohio Thrifts are on the expensive side for thrifting, but this location can be absolutely absurd. I picked up a piece of furniture (rolling TV tray) priced at $10.99, which I felt was reasonable. The manager started an argument with me at the checkout and said that it was actually $29.99. I told her I didnt understand how it was nearly triple the price marked, then she told me Technically, Im not even supposed to sell it to you! Absolutely ridiculous and rude. Find a different thrift store to visit!!!

Need more swimsuits size 12 & up, one piece,some skirted. Orotherwise it was great, clean, bright, friendly staff.

As soon as walk in informed a mask is required..very disappointing since staff was carrying on conversation without one..30 min before close announced restroom closed..was a very unwelcoming shopping environment compared to other locations Ive visited..

They had collectible items that I was interested in. They actually put batteries in many of their items to make sure they work unlike many other thrift stores who just throw it out there without checking to see if its any good. The stores well organized in sections in the items are not thrown on top of each other like many other thrift stores where you touch one thing and five things fall off the shelf. I buy and sell antiques and collectibles on eBay in which I get at thrift stores I regularly visit this thrift store because I always find things to sell at a good price. Many more people should visit these places. The items are sanitized and clean before theyre set out. This is a way to contribute to charity and get something for your money also. This time especially is hard for the poor and many more people should go to the thrift stores. This is one of the better ones in worth a visit I bet you will come out with something you love.

Is always good there clean organized great prices too

I bought 2 packets of snackwell cookies. The 1st one had little bugs all over it inside of the packet. The 2nd packet was so gross it made me want to vomit. They are selling expired food. When I called to talk to the manager about them selling expired food, she was very rude to me and told me there was nothing she could do about it. I have contacted the health department. I hope nobody gets to badly sick.

One of the best Ohio thrifts. Had tons of items I wanted. Tons of books. And just so much to look at and enjoy. On top of that, it had one of the most friendly and engaged staffs Ive dealt with at any thrift store and it was truly appreciated. Thank you so much for the great experience and I will return!

Always loved thrift stores but sad the prices are going up since I shop here for the lower prices. I also seem to always get shirts that have the tag placed in the worst spot and there’s usually a noticeable hole left there after. Sometimes I find clothes I like but notice stains or marks or holes too. You either find amazing things or leave empty handed

I found a few designer pieces for work. Charter club and Ann taylor. The pants were lined and only cost 4 dollars. Will need to have them hemmed. No problem. I also bought a new hair brush. Im glad they have dressing rooms now.

This place is a diamond in the rough. The staff was very courteous and made my experience a good one.

Very disappointed by the behavior of the manager with a suspected shoplifter. She was loud and argumentative, instead of calling the police. I shop here frequently and it has made me rethink shopping at this location despite that it is close to home.

Great selection, quality clothing and the prices are very reasonable (especially on sale days). My only issue is the cashiers are EXTREMELY slow and not very friendly. Plan on LONG wait in line even if only 1-2 people with a few items are ahead of you.

I was told I am not allowed to carry a purse in their store. As a woman, I found this discriminatory. What if I needed to have tampons on me? Should I just carry fistfuls of tampons and cash through their store? Where am I suppose to have my wallet and phone while I shop if I don’t have a coat on? Most women’s clothes do not have adequate pockets for such things. I have shopped here for years and never been asked to not carry a purse. A large number of women carry purses.

They are always good and inexpensive... first time at the one in Whitehall, but it was a good shop. 2 jackets and 3 more work shirts. just over 20 bucks. Thats an achievement because of my size. very pleased. took some looking, but I scored.

I love love love Ohio Thrift. These are the best thrift stores in Columbus. They sort the clothing by size, the store is well organized, big, and bright. I probably go there too frequently but I cant help myself. Great sales on the final Wednesday of each month keep me coming back.

The prices were way to high.

Ohio Thrift on East Broad is a very nice store however the cashiers seem to be very rude. They have a reward program which no one seems to ask you for your phone number upon your purchase. When I asked if they participate in the rewards still, the cashier specifically caught and instant attitude and she answered me as if I was dumb after my purchase. I am an avid thrifters I moved here from Michigan 8 months ago, and that isnt the first time that I have went in the East Broad store and received negative service from a cashier. However the Ohio Thrift on Refugee Road is awesome I never had a bad experience in that store and it has a very comforting shopping atmosphere.

Store is clean however I seen a roach scurrying across the floor as I approached the register. Clothes are sorted by color and size. The prices are a bit high for second hand clothing.

They are respectful and always have what Im looking for and what I forgot I was looking for and what I didnt know I needed until I saw it... 😄😄

This store is one of the best thrift stores that Ive been to in the area. There is a wide variety of clothes for all sizes from infants to adults. The staff is friendly and are ready to help out with any questions. I will definitely shop there again and again.

Very nice quality and selection. Designer brands. The price on some items can be a little higher than at some thrift stores but you get what you pay for and you can find lots of lower priced items as well. They have colored tag sales everyday and a half price sale at least once a month. The East Broad location is best in my opinion.

I really enjoy shopping here. I am almost always sure to find what I am looking for. The prices are quite reasonable & the quality of the selections are good. The staff are very outgoing & eager to help you when needed.

Its expensive now but they do have fitting rooms now!

I love the thrift store. This is one of my favorites. I like this store because it is clean and very organized. It is a great shopping experience.

They have good stuff... but its a thrift store so its only so good.

Love shopping for various things at a discount as I am retired and on a tight budget. They sell some new items as well. I like the Ohio Thrift stores because their donations come from the National Kidney Foundation. Most of them are clean and organized which makes it easier to shop.

I used to shop here all the time, but Ohio Thrifts prices just keep getting higher. $3 for a torn, stained T-shirt that cost $9 new? Come on! It is clean and well organized. They dont have dressing rooms in any of their stores, so if you do shop there wear a tank top and shorts/skirt so you can try things on in the aisle. They have all clothes and linens half off on the middle and last Wednesdays each month.

Its pretty good but would prefer they not staple or use the plastic tags on books. Didnt buy some because of that. Employees nice. Lots of stuff

This is a fine thrift store, though you have to watch out for the occasional high priced item slipped in. The majority of what I saw was reasonably priced, better overall quality, better selection, and sorted by sizes. That last one is especially important for us plus-sized shoppers, who must otherwise wade through an ocean of S-M-L items to find anything that fits.I read a lot of other reviews claiming the staff here are unhelpful, but I am not sure what they are expecting. Thrifting is not a department store experience. Nobody is going to wait on shoppers hand and foot when most offered items are under $5. Staff also cant be expected to be knowledgeable about the products or whether or not a certain item is available, because what they sell is random and constantly changing. They dont have an inventory database to reference.In the case of this most recent visit, I had several interactions with the staff and was not put off by any of them. They were young and not always professional, but everyone I spoke to was polite and seemed to be in a good mood. One of the guys said something that made me laugh. They had every right to be annoyed with me honestly, because I rushed in knowing I only had an hour to shop before closing. I ignored the overhead messages and used every last second, because I was finding so many cute things. I really had to dash and snagged the last place in line before they cut off sales for the night. But everyone was smiling and chill about it.Great trip overall!

This place is very professional but it is low-key. Ive been getting my haircut here for a couple of years and I have been with different cutters and I can say they have very low prices for high quality haircuts.

I usually go here all the time but lately Ive been noticing that their pricing are getting higher and higher. A THRIFT STORE is were DONATED clothes goes to be sold for LESS. Ive literally seen t shirts at 10.00! The nice things are over priced and the old really raggedy things are sold for .99 like! What a shame

Not much to say besides it has a nice selection of Appliances and clothing for all ages and genders it also has a lot of toys for the kids. Its basically like any other Ohio thrift and the new edition of adding dressing rooms is great.

This store is awful. The cashier Mattie complained the whole time I was checking out, the racks of clothing didnt match the size clothes indicator, s lot of the mens jeans were in such bad condition they should not of even been on the rack to be sold. Also this store needs new inventory.

The Ohio Thrift store is in a large building with a wide variety of used and new clothing, and household goods Customer service is always willing to help. There is ample paraking except on half price sale days when many community members come to stock up on many clothing bargins .

I am very pleased with the items I purchased today. Unable to find any of the sale items. But, I am satisfied with the items I did receive.

They have great bargains unlike other thrift store that try to sell at new prices.

Prices have really increased in the last three months, almost doubled. I can find new toddler clothes cheaper at Wal-Mart or Krogers Marketplace. Used to love this place but the last trips noticed the hugh price increase.
