Staff is very helpful and nice. My bf who is an avid MTG player always comes here. New place has better parking.
Shop is very dirty staff is rude and the prices on pokemon cards are all reseller price 100 dollars for a champions path ETB and they were charging 50 for the vivid voltage box the day after it came out when they retail for 40 I cant speak to their yugioh or magic prices but if its anything like their pokemon prices stay far away.
This place had a huge selection of magic cards both new and old. It was amazing. Will be going back when im in this area
Friendly, knowledgeable, carries a large variety of cards and board games.
Warm welcoming environment with superb administration and an awesome staff thats always welcoming and informative.
Home away from home. Best place in the Bay to play yugioh, magic, d&d, etc. 🙌
Amazing card shop thats all about the games. The guy working there helped my girlfriend and I find every card we needed and clearly cared about the games in the shop. Amazing experience.
Reminds me of the FLGS of my youth... Overpriced singles, boxes and clutter everywhere, crowded, dark, chairs that have taken more punishment than a championship boxer... but everywhere you look, theres people shouting, having fun! Its what a game store should be. Definitely a different crowd than Black Diamond, since the tables are ALWAYS open for free play. Its the kind of game store that keeps kids off the streets by giving them a place to hang out. The kind of game store that gives lonely nerds a place to congregate and argue about things that dont matter. And what else do you want from a game store? If youre just looking for the latest junk at the best prices to sit on your shelf collecting dust, buy on Amazon! But if you want to support the health of the hobby and the community, buy here.Even when Im not drafting, Ill buy boxes and sleeves here.
Good environment lots of room and very helpful.. going to have to come back.
Great personal customer service, great knowledge of product, very helpful with all forms of table top gaming, and trading card games.Always a fun atmosphere.
Nice staff messy to a non card collectors
It was really tough to give this store a 3 star rating. I wanted to give it higher but theres 2 key things I just couldnt ignore. One of the biggest ones is the store is constantly a mess, and I dont mean like crumbs and dirt everywhere mess; I mean boxes everywhere and massively disorganized. If I cant easily find what I need Im gonna bounce. Hate to say it but its the truth. Sure I can ask and often times I do but also like to be self reliant and find it myself and check out. The flip side to this, though, is the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They are always honest and pretty knowledgeable. In fact the service and selection of magic singles are probably the two reasons why I still shop there.Second is the lack of a website. They do get by with a calendar attachment on Facebook but this is the era of technology. If you dont have even a basic website for your business with updated info then your just setting yourself up for failure.Honestly if you want more customers to shop with you guys than you have to clean up the place. Id even do it for free if it meant the store being more organized and shoppable. This was my biggest fear when I found out the store had the same owner as Gamers guild in Antioch that the store would begin to look like the other one.Otherwise keep up the great service and I will still be there for my magic singles.
People were really unfriendly when my friends and I (who have been playing table top games for EASILY 25 years combined) walked in. Everything was covered in dust. There were mountains of garbage/recycling bags in the bathroom. Not great.
This is Concord more traditional game store. There is more stock, less organization, and no charge to use a game table. Theres always at least a couple magic players around looking for a game, but for miniatures youll need to arrange something via the East Bay Wargamers Facebook group or GameFor.
Great intimate store for games and RPGs. Needs better parking.
Good atmosphere and some tables for tabletop games and tables for cards. A bit cluttered and hard to find some things. Always very helpful in looking for you or looking it up in their system.
Great little store. Mostly magic and warhammer. Sometimes youll make a good boardgame find. Community is very welcoming. I just wish the owner and manager made an effort to clean the store more often and stop leaving shipping boxes on the sales/play floor.
Run by the same people who run Gamers Guild/Battle Bunker over at Antioch. While this store is slightly cleaner than Equilibrium, it is unfortunately just as bad. The service seems friendly at first, but that is merely a distraction from the fact that they overcharge you HEAVILY. For the amount of money that you pay for product at this store is nearly 30% to 50% higher than what you SHOULD be paying, and WOULD be paying elsewhere. Highly recommend that you go elsewhere.
While it definatly fits a need. The only time I went here it was kinda a mess and I was stepping over boxes just to check out the items I wanted. Felt like I was In a back room in the front room. Staff was very nice on the flip side.
A nice gem is their selection of magic singles. Easy to find, sorted by set, color and alphabetical order. If youve ever spent an hour at Black Diamond sifting through a giant box for a Zulaport Zutthroat, youd understand.
This place is this good only thanks to an employee named Travis. He is amazing
Good card selection, employees are very kind and helpful, and lots of players in shop!
Always helpful and always able to find what I need, or can order what I want
Always welcoming... A+
Great place for magic singles and drafting. Helpful staff and wide collection of games and miniatures.
Place was very dirty when I first visited. Products and random stuff layed through out the store, sometimes obstructing paths. It was also very stuffy, due to a lot of people. So there was no air flow or conditioning going on. There are some nice old products to through at least.
Great Pokémon Go gym #keepitmystic and a nice place to go find games or chill.
Amazing gaming store for all kinds off table top strategy games like warmachine and wahammer 40,000 all the way to magic the gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh card players.
Inventory doesnt match reality, fortunately I phoned before making the trip.
Happiest place on earth Disney land can suck it
Great for table top gaming
Everyone is super nice I really like it there though it smells like sweaty nerd occasionally
Large collection of MTG and war hammer. Not many board games.
The is place is lit! There is ternaments weekly and you can buy cards
Nice atmosphere, good selection, friendly staff.
