For a small town store, this is the best! The people of Conneaut are lucky to have a store with such a wide variety of items to choose from. Jerry and his staff are so accommodating, especially Pat in the meat department! Keep up the great work!

Great little grocery store. They always have everything we need. The meat guys will cut any meat we need if they dont have it already packaged up. The lines are all always open and never a long wait to check out. The owners and manager are very friendly and helpful. Our favorites here are their huge fresh made subs and pickled beet eggs!! Great place to shop!

Great food. Especially the deli and Bakery. Though over priced (have been for years now, if not decades) younger employees can be friendly and courteous; baggers alike. Though the older clerks can be rather rude. The majority have been to me. Things in general could be much more jubilant if people could just be nicer and not rude. Ill continue to shop there.

The staff werent friendly at all. Small downtown grocery store but had everything you need. Doesnt look like a grocery store from the outside, but it is. Added bonus ... A nice Veterans Memorial is located across the street.

Orlando Brothers Golden Dawn is well worth a drive!! The meat department is fantastic! Meat cut right on the premises! Hard to find that anymore!! And a large selection of meats. And then theres the bakery dept!! Oh my!! So many yummy baked goods!! My 2 favorites are the homemade pepperoni rools and the braided bread!! We drive 30 minutes each way just to get GREAT cuts of meat, and bread products that make your mouth water!! Plus, we always find other items that we just cant resist!!! LOL!!

Great Grocery By A Great Lake

We have recently moved to Conneaut 2 months ago & have been going to the DG right down from our house. Last night we decided to explore a little & stopped in to Orlandos. To our surprise everything was very clean & the shelves were tidy even with their current renovations going on. When we got to the Deli counter the older lady had us laughing & feeling like shes known us for decades. Then she ran to snag an item we were looking for even though we had moved on further to explore. She is a total sweet heart and had us feeling like we were finally home. We had a rather enjoyable shopping trip, which we typically despise elsewhere. We were able to find everything quite easily, the prices marked fair & clearly labeled. We will definitely be back.

Even though its a small hometown grocery, Orlando Bros tries to have Gluten Free food options so locals can stay right here in town and shop. Gluten free pretzels, cookies, baking mixes like cookies, pancakes, cake mixes, pastas like lasagna, penne and spaghetti you can cook up. It really is a joy for my 82 year old mother to just go shopping on her own rather than have to wait to go to a bigger store in Erie or Ashtabula. Thanks Orlando Bros.! Your kindness means a great deal to my family!

Customer service was A+.The owner of this small town grocer was awesome as he took time to speak with me as I made my way through the aisles. I got good deals and was very happy with my experience there. I have been shopping there for 12 years and will continue to as they are an awesome business in town that supports our high schools and junior highs and elementarys by constantly sponsoring and giving scholarships and helping by providing resources to our schools and their students.

Your fruit was outrageously expensive and it wasnt even good it had brown spots and the strawberries were expired. Also your cantaloupe was not right and your salads expired and one night

Great place to get your groceries. Ive been shopping there my whole life. A tad expensive at times but its all worth every penny.

I have quit going to Golden Dawn in Conneaut because they do not have their staff wearing masks and are not asking customers to. Hope Manager becomes more respectful of his workers and customers as the Governors newest plan states for retail stores. Other local stores are showing more concern. Wearing a mask protects yourself and others. The Manager has the right to request those entering to wear them.

Meat dept is ALWAYS fresh,reasonably priced.

I love supporting small local businesses. This store has very nice meat and Deli selection and prices. And when they have sales they are really good.The only complaint I really have is many of the employees there arent very friendly. A simple smile and hello can go a long way in my book.

VERY PRICEY!!! Could go anywhere else to get your items. Old establishment. Parking out front is dangerous. I only go here to get my lunch meats because we have nowhere else to go for good lunch meat in this small town. Almost worth the drive to ashtabula to get the lunch meat. Sometimes good deals but RARELY!

Its a nice to have grocery store in town. Some a things are pricey, I believe its because of convenience. Great thing is they have name brand items if that is what you prefer.

Great deli... kind of pricey for most groceries but excelent customer service... little bit easy to get lost as there are entrances on both ends of the store... all in all great little hometown grocery.

Full service grocery 🛒 store with bakery, deli, meat, produce, and dairy departments. Weekly ad comes out Wednesday in the Star Beacon or get a copy in the store by the front registers. Many products from many different vendors. There is always a good buy. Utility bill payment service at back office. I want to give a shout out to the deli. The 5oz Ham and Swiss Cheese Sub was excellent. There was so much cheese. Sorry for no picture, Ill buy another one for sure. thanks

Wonderful old time family store feeling with all the modern goods. Great bakery nothing like fresh bread and pepperoni rolls.

For a hometown grocery store these guys are the best. They always seem to have everything I need. They also have some of the best pepperoni rolls around.

Its okay. They are a very basic grocery store. Nothing exotic. But their prices are rediculous. Because its the closest grocery store in town, you pay for the convenience. Things are priced up by at least 1.50 to two dollars...on average. Some are much higher. As mentioned, its the only grocery store directly in town so they can do that kind of thing

Great local store, of they dont have something you want if you ask them they will try to get it in for you,great management and staff all very friendly and helpful. Been shopping here 20 yrs never had a problem with staff or green meats and cashiers are nice especially Tammy and Bobbie

I went to buy broccoli and cauliflower, all of the cauliflower was moldy (and reduced to .99). There was a lady putting new produce out and I asked to switch what I had picked for the newer cauliflower. Her response was they are all the same. Welll mine is moldy and the one I’m looking at on your cart is not. On top of her being completely rude about it. I absolutely hate going here, and would rather drive to anywhere else to get produce.

I nice local grocery in Conneaut. I found Schweppes Tonic Water there. I have not found it at Heinens, Zagaras, or Giant Eagle. Their corn on the cob was very good.

Not a terrible store, but most of the staff (including the owners) are kind of rude and snarky, their prices are high, and because theyre basically the only grocery store in Conneaut, they can get away with it.Plus the city helps them maintain that monopoly by keeping places like Marcs and Discount Drug Mart out of Conneaut. I only shop here when absolutely necessary.

Produce is embarrassingly bad. Constantly putting out rotten fruits and vegetables. Prices are unreasonably high. Rarely are the cashiers friendly. Im writting this after throwing another freshly bought item directly into the trash because it was so bad. This week alone, 1 bag of shredded lettus, 1 large red onion, container of mushrooms and a whole cantaloupe! Premium prices for garbage produce..... Conneaut needs a REAL grocery store.
