I went there to check the price of textbook since I was not sure which textbooks I need for my class. I want to check the price first. But when I asked her how much is it for each textbook.... she said Why with mean voice and she said I can check the price from the website. Then I said I already checked through the website, but I dont see picture of the book cover. I want to make sure I get the right ones. Then I asked her can I take pictures of ISBN number. Then she said NO...this is how she give the service to customers who are going to buy textbooks???? The other employees were nice accept for her. I think there is something wrong with her. If you dont like a job, Just quit. She is so mean and rude to customers. I saw she answered the same way to other customers. I wish others will report the same issue. I will find the way to report this issue to the campus. Get out of there.
No one ever answers the phone. I’m not the only one who has complained about this. It rained only 3 times & goes to a voice machine which is ridiculous.
Orders through website go through after 3rd or 4th attempt and have only have one phone call with very unhelpful information.Shipping is quick, though.

Our first year at Lone Star. Ordered books from here. My daughter finishes her history class next week...still haven’t received the book portion. Ended up having to get a family member in another state send us the book from his campus. Several emails to the store with zero return on how to get my money back. Guess I’ll just be eating this cost. Not really a great start to our encounters with your facility. Won’t be spending another dime there again, I can assure you of that.
I ordered an access code for an e-book, paid for next day shipping and it took two weeks for me to receive it despite multiple attempts to contact the store and manager via email (to which I never heard back from). Save your money and time and either buy directly through the website you need or look on Amazon for your books.

If youre a fan of overpriced textbooks and unknowledgeable staff I highly recommend! Staff offered to help me find the textbooks I needed based on the printout I had detailing the exact titles and numbers and sent me to checkout with the wrong books more than once.
Do not rent from this store! Rent anywhere else. I returned a book here via UPS and they will not acknowledge it was received and signed for even with receipts and images that it was returned. Barnes & Noble has sent it to collections and this has been an ongoing problem for months. No one will resolve it, though everyone seems on board that it was indeed returned. Emails and phone calls go unreturned. Even Barnes and Noble’s audit team can’t seem to resolve it.

The worst experience I ever had. I live in Sugar Land and need to make sure they have books I need but after 100th call no one answers. Ok. Their website is something that own employees don’t know what the heck is going on. I rent a book online when I got there they say they don’t rent it. Also, idk why but I’ve been charged Twice (that’s book price) I couldn’t show them confirmation number because no WiFi or service in that place. So now I’m just going to buy it from store next to my house. Thanks Lone Star for wasting my time and money and gas.
