This is the first year that I used H& S for processing my deer. My order was taken in a timely manner and they unloaded my 120 qt. Ice chest containing my quartered deer. The processing was completed in one week and I received a message on my phone that my order was ready. I picked it up and the cost was compatible with industry standards. They filled my order correctly, cleaned out my ice chest and loaded all of the meat( which was frozen really good) into my truck for me. The meat is cut and tenderized as ordered and the hamburger meat is very good quality. I highly recommend them for your processing also.

The best beef and turkey jerky in the Houston area! Owners are hands on, up front greeting and meeting with each customer, personally. Always nice not only for the quality and quantity of your desired product, the ambiance of the old fashioned meat market. Area hunters will know about this little gem of meat processing for their high quality processing. Owners love to have a good conversation and spend time with their customers. Always a great pleasure to stop by, if only for the camaraderie! I believe that you too will enjoy and decide that this little gem of a meat market is awesome!

Great service and had what I was looking for.

New management is great! Probably the best customer service in the business. They accidentally missed a box of my order and hand delivered it to my house 45 minutes away. Great product followed by even better service.

Id been looking all over for a 7-Bone roast and called H&S.He explained that its hard to find roasts with bone, however hecuts chuck roasts that looks and tastes similar to a 7-bone. He was so personable and spent quite a bit of time with me on the phone. We picked up the roast and it was everything he said and more. Delicious. Before this, wed been shopping at Majkszaks and HEB for the same type of roast. The chuck roasts they sell are very thick and round like a rump roast, with tough stringy meat. Thus the search for a new butcher/meat market.H&Ss roast was wide and about 2 thick. I cooked it the same as the others and what a difference. This roast came out tender and delicious! Even the next day the flavor was still there as well as the tenderness.Were going to buy all of our meat from H&S from now on. Hes the best!about

We have used H&S for years for all of our deer processing. The sausage is wonderful. Processing timeframe is quick.

Jerry and Cheryl are the best. I have been using them for 15 years to process my deer and hogs. I drive from San Antonio and Dallas to give them my business.

I have never tasted such amazing hamburger meat! Same price as the grocery store too. I will never buy grocery store beef again. The staff was very kind and helpful. In an attempt to describe the hamburgers it was much more flavorful with a kinda buttery hue. Best as grilled burgers but we have also used it for spaghetti and tater tot casserole and we were not disappointed. To me this must be what kobe would tast like as ground chuck lol. Love it.

Decent tasting product and slightly cheaper than other places, but after the owner nearly physically assaulted my 52 55 year old mother when she was picking up 10 pounds of meat they had shorted her we will be paying a little more money at a different business to ensure my mothers safety. This all started because she had a question about the remaining product she was picking up which still seemed to be short. Shorter than the typical amount lost from smoking. The female co-owner dismissed the question and began walking away. My mom spoke up asking about the missing product hoping for a concerned response from the business owner like any sane person should be able to expect. Especially after being shorted by 10 pounds. The male co-owner quickly approached from around the corner not knowing the context of the situation and began raising his voice and invading my mothers personal space making her feel very unsafe. It was a completely disproportionate response and absolutely uncalled for under any circumstances. We have spent many thousands of dollars at H&S over the years, but needless to say we will be taking our business elsewhere. Specifically to a business who truly cares about the customer and doesnt threaten them physically.

Good processing place, got my Axis trimmings made into sausage. Really good recipe, got alot of compliments from family I gave some to.

Have been using them for over 10 years.I do alot of deer with them and never had a problem with them.Just dont know where that one review came from.I will tell anyone to go there!

Owner and his wife are horrible people. Owner yelled and cussed me out in front of my children. Take your business elsewhere.
