They have all kind of species that Nepalese use. They are located on good location. They even serve you lunch set like biryani, samosa, samosa chat. They have good food. The speciality of this store is halal meat. They have nice and clean place to cut the meat into pieces. They have lots of stuff in the store, but if you are about to buy stuff here make sure check the date on it...

Avoid this place. Ive put up with their rudeness and prejudice; making my daughter produce ID to PROVE her last name because shes only half Indian.But I went in yesterday to buy pita pockets. The first package we picked up, we noticed at the register, had mold on it. My daughter went back and got another package from the back and made sure it was not out of date. In fact, we bought it September 28 and it was marked to expire October 13, 2019. We went to eat it today - the next day- and you can see in the picture its green with mold. Yuk! We will be looking for a new grocery store.

It was fine, gave us all the halal stuff and desi groceries we needed. They just didnt have boneless chicken and chicken breast.

Bought three things. Two were expired!! This has happened before multiple times.

This Indiani/Pakistani grocery store has a lot of variety in packaged food, along with a small restaurant that’s for take out only. I haven’t tried the restaurant food so can’t comment there.The reason for my rating is the employees disregard for others by not wearing masks. They have a sign outside that states a mask is required, but in my previous 6 visits, they either don’t wear a mask, or have it on their chin (why even bother?). This is inadequate and show lack of care for customers.

MY WIFE JUST WENT TO GET HAMBERGER MEAT. WAS VERY DISOPNTE WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVISE AND NOT GIVING HER FRESH MEAT. WITH THIS KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY HAVE PRIVIOUSLY LOST BUSNINESS LOOK LIKE AGAIN SAME THING IS GOING TO HAPPEN. I bought rice towice from this store and both were full of insects

I visited store to buy meat today (Chicken and Goat meat), asked a butcher in meat section by name SADA for Whole Chicken and cut into small pieces, he asked me pick a a pack from freezer kept in front of meat section, I said I need fresh whole chicken. He is such a RUDE guy and showed me the door to get out of the store. Absolutely, not a store to buy anything from such a RUDE guy. Quality of anything here is also not so great.

Excellent customer service, great variety of Desi goods. The store is very organized and the meat is very clean cut according to customer requirements.Manager called Fahad is very understanding and has a good relationship with all the customers.

Try their biriyani much better than the ones you get in Houston. Their Goat meat (mutton) is just best in town no comparison!

Cant trust the meat shop. You ask him for a certain quantity and he never gives what you ask. Ask for 2 lbs and he makes it 2.5 by himself. Plus the meat storage is questionable.. Be careful with your meat purchase!

Clean and good selection of Middle Eastern and South Asian foods. No prices on any items so we had to ask staff.

My wife and I did not share other customers negative experience. The employees were helpful and courteous. We were able to find all we needed to make مكبوس (machboos) for friends including لومي (dried limes), plus some other snacks! We will definitely come back when were in the area.

My first visit there after seeing some reviews to buy fresh raw goat meat. Very disappointed. Rather than mixed meat, I got mostly ribs with little meat and some bones with hardly any meat. Cost me $15:75. Never again.

So as it was week end, they had advertised Halwa, Puri, which is one of the favorite breakfast, so I went there placed an order, to go, took them more then 30 minutes, when I got home instead of Puri’s there were the frozen paratha, which were not even cooked properly, and some in the middle seemed like they were made several hours ago. The Channa was also not fresh, and all food was cold not even hot . Very disappointed. When called was told they made the Channa night before, so unsafe to eat, how can you make the food night before and serve . And give paratha instead of Puri’s.

Very good butcher, ordered a leg of lamb from then, excellent service. Have a good selection of spices

The last three times we got chicken from the meat shop here - it smelled horrible. One time I challenged this while still at the store and they refused to acknowledge the problem. They either dont keep their chicken at the right temperature or simply keep them longer than supposed to.

This is the best grocery store Ive been visited till date, they serve fresh and halal meat which is very cheaper and on time if you order in advance, staff is very helpfull,pleasing and very active, with lot of discount if you are their lucky customer.I would recommend one should visit this place.

I often visit Woodland Desi Grocery and Halal Food to buy grocery and Oven Hot Food. This is best place in woodlands area where you could find best Pakistani and Indian Spices, Bar B Q items, and Fresh Halal Meat. Staff is very cooperative especially new manager Fahad to find the items. I would definitely recommend to others to visit at least once to buy the stuff and oven hot food.

They never throw away expired stuff, it’s been three times I get home and it get rotten bread and spoiled chicken, I wanted to throw up when I opened it, when I told them about it, they showed very little care and did not even apologize. They returned me money. I stopped going there

Bad customer serviceWent there 2 times bought meat, meat was smelly and also it tasted bad. I will not recommend anyone to buy meat from them... wonder if the even sale halal meet.. also happen one time I bought box chicken and it had a bad smell.

I went there to get a hookah flavor, I haven’t smoked for a while so I was a little fuzzy on the prices but I am sure a quarter kilo hookah flavor is not $28!!! This is outrageous!!! I called every other hookah place and they were selling the same exact thing for $14.99 so I went back to return it and the owner told the guy at the register to just give me $7 back... this is ridiculous their prices are too HIGH.. someone need to go there and fix it. This is a WARNING DO NOT, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT SHOP FROM THERE... make the drive and go to other places that are wayyyy cheaper than this place plus costumer service is horrible... YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Good place for Zabiha Halal meat. Although sometimes when you call ahead orders are still not ready by the time you arrive for pickup.

Small Indian and Pakistani store. Its a place to run for emergency needs of spices. Rice bags are always full of bugs, whenever I bought them.

Good to have halal meat place close to woodlands. Its Okay. There is still alot of room for improvements but what i can tell is that they have almost everything you may need as far as the desi grocery is concerned.

I would agree some of the latest reviews. Rude and unapologetic behavior. I got 2 packs of goat meat- premeasured, packed and labeled. I didnt feel right about the weight. Got home and measured. It was literally quarter pound less in each pack. This is a rip off. I was in a hurry and had to cook for the guests. Didnt make any effort to complain. I am sure this place is gonna get into legal trouble soon.Previous issue- Called to Order 2 Biriyani. We had 2 more guests who told they were coming. Called the stores again to order 1 more. He said that I ordered the last 2. But when I went to the store, he had 3 packs. He said he had a cancelled order and I can buy 3. When I got home and looked, he had managed to make 2 biriyanis (meat) into 3 by adding extra rice. It was just a rice dish. Complete Rip off. I mentioned this to him the next day. He didnt seem to care.

The new staff( Fahad) is pathetic, rude and very abusive. They didnt even care for the presence of female customers at the counter. They lost a three year old loyal customer in just a moment.

This stores staff are very rude, unrespect relation/communication to purchasers even in Ramadan month. Its not acceptable behaivor for Muslim people. I will not recomend to others.

I will have to agree with an earlier review about the person called Shoibs disgusting attitude. He is rude and unapologetic about his behavior with customers. You dont have a complaint and everything is peachy and the minute you say something he shouts, misbehaves and places the whole blame on you.I have huge complaints about their meats. The measurement is less than they say it is and I just bought a chicken and told them to cut it into 12 pieces and told their butcher I need the backbone and the rest of the discards to make stock. He said of course and when I came home there are just 12 pieces NOTHING ELSE!! not even the neck. I called to complain and was throughly shouted at by the said person. Told me that I didnt know how to order the chicken. I guess I need to learn to speak stupid to talk to these people.Their meat area stinks so much of rotten meat that I had to step away today.I put away 2 things out of my cart today because they were expired including a freezer item and a sweet box.My husband got bad diarrhea from their ice cream cup flavor Kulfa and chiko a couple of weeks ago.I kept giving them benefit of doubt because its close and a convenient place to get halal meat.Needless to say I would be telling everyone I know about their behavior and unsanitary conditions, expired food, cheating customer in weight of meat and Spreading illness.I would highly advise to avoid this place at all cost if you value your health and your dignity.

Its very first full desi grocery and fresh halal meat shop here in Woodland area. Also contain all desi products. Very convenient for all Woodland, Conroe and Spring community. I love this place.

When we first went there, nobody greeted us. They are expensive, their meat is way-overpriced. One time i told them to make 12 piece chicken, when i came home literally that chicken had more than 22 small chicken pieces. really pissed off. They take advantage of being only one desi store around conroe.

Best Indian Pakistan grocery store tin this area.

Been there for the first time and the products are mostly expired. The meat section guy makes the customer wait for a long time even when there are no any customers. Customer service is very poor. It does not deserve even a single star.
