My new favorite location. Small, but well stocked and very organized. Produce looked fresh, unlike other locations.

Grocery & Customer Service delivers excellent service.....i tried makeing them my pharmacy had a bad experience with night crew. Not friendly at all kept trying to put blame on us for medication not ready....they forgot good customer service skills.😕😐

If you need to return any items than save yourself the trouble and just go down the road and return it there. When this walmart advised me to go to the one up the road they had already return one of my items and they couldnt do anything. So I went back and they couldnt do the same thing as the one in universal city. I dont think they care and do not want to deal with returns at all. Its okay if you want a gallon of milk or something like that but dont bother the workers, they dont like that.

Omg... I love this place. It has so many different choices and flavors of food, that I thought didnt exist anymore or they cancelled all together. Its very clean. The restrooms are spotless also. It was a different experience all together from going to Walmart Superstars or H.E.B. It will be my new grocery store for my monthly shopping because I live in LaVernia, so for a quick trip it will have to remain H.E.B. Great Job Walmart Employees!!!

It is so nice to shop in a smaller store. There is nothing more frustrating than spending an hour to walk through a store. Why cant some of the larger stores, just sell grocery items?

Glad its still around. It is very easy to walk in and grab a few things you need minus the big crowds at a larger store. You can always find someone to help too which is nice.

Im ok with bagging my groceries because I can put them in the order I need. I feel more organized and not looking through bags when I get home. Also there is so much help there when you need it. Very quick. I love the flowers!!

Never disappointed when I visit my local neighborhood Walmart.

The store is excellent, but the Walmart gas station they have 2 employees one with dreadlocks and a female who doesn’t know anything about customer service.

Pharmacy drive through very convenient. Had my grand-doggy with me and they gave him a treat! Very friendly pharmacy staff.

Very crowded and items were in disarray. Pallets of products in the middle of the aisles while the store is already quite packed at around 5pm.

I love this Neighborhood Market! Its so awesome to be able to run in and get what you need really quick. They have such a great selection of so many items, theres hardly any reason to go anywhere else.

I do Love this store so for the store I would rate it a 5 to include most of the workers are very friendly. The 3 is for making it a self checkout only location. I was there and saw an elderly patron trying to scan and load the bags by himself. Yes they do have workers there to fix a jam or approve the sales of alcohol. The checkout area is no longer customer friendly as before. I remember register #1 always had someone there with a smile ready to assist the patrons.I don’t particularly care for the new system.

Always great, even when recovering from last weeks weather. I am glad there are so many self checkout options as well, as I was able to do multiple transactions without holding anyone up. The employees are kind ☺️

Excellent place! Went on Christmas eve and even then it was fully stocked and running like clockwork. In and out in less than 15m and I found everything I needed. Bonus the employees are super nice!!

First time visiting a Neighborhood Market. Its perfect and has everything you need for groceries and household products.

I originally worked at this walmart and have shopped here many times as it is the closest to my house. In the past 5 years that ive lived here this walmart has gone from bad to worse. The management was a joke back then and Ive been told has improved but Ive yet to see it. They also changed all their cashier terminals to self checkout which is just absurd. There is no consistency to any of the employees there always a different face and a different person. The handful of friendly employees at the checkout are usually not paying attention or talking to each other so frequently that it can be irritating. Not all the employees here are bad in fact most of the ladies here are incredibly friendly and hard working. What happened to Walmarts 10 FOOT RULE? Because I make eye contact with every employee and try to smile at them and they will intentionally pretend not to notice in an attempt to avoid customers. There is literally never anyone at the customer service desk which by the way is now the only way you can get tobacco. Its really sad because walmart knows their company has more inventory power and better prices that they dont really care anymore about the customer. Shame too because despite my best efforts to avoid this place it still has items i can only find in walmarts..... 2/5 stars and not 1 because those employees that work hard and are friendly everyday are the real stars........

Ive come to hate this store. It is 100% for you to take the responsibility of properly sanitizing around basket picking your groceries, of course, checking yourself out 100% taking your groceries to your car put the basket away the next thing will be meeting at around 5 to empty the truck I hope they go completely out of business! But its Walmart we have to just go along or choose another store thats even a better idea!

Love this store. Team members are always happy to help. But they sometimes dont carry what I am looking for. I wish that they had a bigger selection.

Only self check out! Truly an express store great for quick runs. Parking always easy, always plenty of carts. In and out in a flash

They have very friendly staff for the most part. They have alot of what you need but keep in mind this is a neighborhood market so its closer to a grocery store not a full walmart. Couldnt buy a backpack when school started. They dont have clothes, shoe, socks, electronics etc. They have a small variety of chargers and popular smaller electronic accessories tho. My only complaint is they have no cashiers. Every checkout is a self checkout. I do have to repeat tho that they have very patient and kind staff tho. Most of them are very helpful and attentive.

Store was clean but if you need to use the restroom and you gotta go. It’s best to go elsewhere. Since they only have ☝️ one toilet and one urinal in the whole store.

They had most of what I was looking for and it was conveniently located. Check out was made easy because I was able to check out in the pharmacy area.

Always clean and shelves are always stocked. Employees are polite and helpful. I will not shop here for a full grocery trip because they do not have cashiers; all shopping is paid by self checkout. For a quick trip for last minute items, this location is perfect.

COVID Update: This store has recently transformed into a self-serve business. All registers have been changed to self check-out lanes. These lanes are much better quality than the ones before which makes it much more efficient though it may be difficult for some shoppers. There are multiple associates nearby to help assist at the check-outs.Pharmacy: Hands Down the best pharmacy in town with the friendliest associates.

I really like my neighborhood walmart. Its always clean and stocked. Except for after the ice and freeze that recently occurred. They did have produce when I went and some meat.

Not enuff laundry baskets, and the homelesses sleeping infront of the doors in the early A M.

Surprisingly, this neighborhood Walmart has very good produce. Normally when I need good produce I go to a normal grocery store. However this Walmart has a good selection and great quality of their produce. The fruits and veggies here are better then my local Walmart superstore. So when I am on my way home form Sams club and need something Sams did not have I stop here to pick up what I missed. It is fast affordable and good quality.

This is a small version of Walmart. They have most of what you need but less than a traditional full size short has.

I love stopping in for milk or quick little grocery trip. They usually always have what I need. I also prefer to do grocery pick-ups here too. The pick-up area is the to side if the building and super easy to get in and out of. Becky was absolutely awesome the last time I did grocery pick-up! Kudos to her!!!

This used to be my favorite place to shop. Clean store, Nice variety of products, helpful staff. Today Im thinking the nice shopping environment Is no more. I doubt if I will ever be back. They turned all the check out lanes except ONE to self checkout. They just LOST my business! If corporate made this decision, they might be closing this store in the future. HEB....here I come.

First time here & I loved it. Love how its a smaller store so its easier to do my quick shopping, & had everything on my list!

Check out team was great, very helpful and after directing me to stand 8 laughed when I said no stand 11 is my favorite and said go for it.

Customer service goes a long way with me. I go here before I go to the big Walmart even though I know they may not have everything because, the staff there are outstanding.

Only self check outs open, went here shortly after Snovid-19 and the shelves were wiped clean. Overall the staff I encountered were very helpful and had a good attitude.

I like that its close to home and that its a small store. I dont like that they made it strictly self check out.

It is okay they have upgraded their self check-out and its fine but Ive gone there 3 times and they say the cash registers dont work right when we are done getting our food and actually i went today and i had to wait 30 minutes for the registers this place sucks!

I just bought some chocolate caramel apples and my nieces and nephew bit into them and they where rotten and molded. When i tried to call to let them know and no one answered.

I work here just as a quick side note, but the customer service is really good. Theyre very nice and try to work as quickly as possible. They really do try to inspire a sense of community.

I dislike going into normal Walmarts when I just need groceries. People seem to understand social distancing here. Place is always clean and the workers are nice. Able to get what I need and get out. Hardly ever a wait.

The Staff at this location are the best!. They are always there to assist you with all of your shopping needs. The store is always clean and neat. Shelves are stocked daily. This is my go to store.

Dont go here and drive down the street to HEB or the Super Walmart. They changed it all to self checkout so now theres no customer service unless you go to the customer service desk. Lines are long, horrible idea and whoever thought this was a good idea needs to go rethink this.
