Worked with Grace today to get a large storage unit, and we couldn’t be happier with the process or the service. Grace was very friendly and explained everything to us thoroughly. We are happy to have a secure, climate-controlled unit to store our things that is close to home!

Will fraudulently charge your card, without permission, for services that are supposedly in your agreement. Customer service is not their forte. Used to deal with Patrick and the place was awesome. Don’t know what happened lately. Change of ownership? Different manager? Whatever the case, it’s not what I’d expect after Patrick ran the place with stellar colors.

It is easy to keep up with payments and I trusted to have my belongings stored here. Great service

The Best Ive Ever Had...Ive had storage units across America throughout the years and for various reasons, but LockAway Storage on Crestway Dr. in Converse, TX has outshined all those experiences.First, I just want to say that any storage facility that has restrooms for their patrons to use will always beat out anything else a facility might offer in amenities, including a month’s free rent, at least for myself.I also have to give this place mad props for having a huge dumpster for us to use, its actually nice to be able to get rid of your garbage before you leave here, rather than having to take it with you or even having to find someone to haul off a few junk pieces that no one can use or recycle.I believe that these two “perks” help in keeping this place nice and clean.Next, I want to share a bit on how I came to be such a huge fan of them and then I will fill you in, somewhat, about the staff and the environment here at the LockAway Storage Facility on Crestway Dr. in Converse, TX.Starting in June 2016, with a broken ankle and a break up, Denise and Tiara took me in with smiles and understanding and then later with their patience of me as I struggled to pay my rent on time.Then came Ted, with his young, sexy swagger, always smiling, very polite, and extremely helpful when I have asked for help.Now Patrick has taken over this location with a swiftness and a smile, causing no disruptions as he took charge of this location.  He also was quick to make a few [needed] subtle changes.  Thank you, Patrick.Lest we forget Tiara, who has weathered the changes, remaining steadfast at this location, making it a comfortable​ atmosphere with her helpful attitude and smiling face, but dont let her smile fool you, she is a Pit Bull and guards the grounds as such.Finally, I just want to say that when my world was crashing down around me as I became a displaced housewife, which sparked a midlife crisis, and nearly left me homeless….You, the staff at LockAway Storage on Crestway Dr. in Converse, TX, really came through for me, for which I am grateful.  I want to say thank you to each of you for not further beating me into the ground when everyone else turned their backs on me.Denise, Tiara, Ted, and Patrick, as well as, LockAWay Storage on Crestway Dr. in Converse, TX...YOU GUYS ROCK!!!I will continue renting a unit here for as long as I need to, I will use this location in the future if I need to, and I will recommend you all to anyone who asks me about storage facilities.I also plan to place a linked Banner on each of my websites for LockAWay Storage, after gaining permission, of course.Hugs, kisses, and licks to you all….Peace N Smiles,Ms Sassy Sherry

Patrick Galvan is just a great guy!!! Very helpful and so knowledgeable. Always has a smile and treats me like family. Best customer service Ive ever had! The front office is so clean and smells very nice just like the restrooms. The floors are always clean in the storage area as well as the outside grounds also. I like that once inside the gate each person has there own personal code to get inside rather than a card. I had a unit at this facility for 5 months and I truly enjoyed my experience. First, the manager Denise is an Angel! She is very nice, kind, respectful, and understanding. The other staff member is also very respectful and kind. Secondly, they provide excellent customer service. They give you courtesy calls, provide various ways to make your payment, send emails of the receipt, and maintaining the facility really clean including the rest rooms. Was very easy to get set up with a storage locker. Patrick and Karla helped me out by holder a locker for me. Would highly recommend this location. Also had some of the best prices in the area. It was really nice that they had a quality truck for us to use. It was big, easy to drive, easy to load and ran well. The staff was very friendly and helpful and continues to be at every opportunity. The facility is nice and the security is top notch. My only complaints are about the elevator.1. Wish it was air conditioned or at least had a fan circulating air.2. Wish it didnt go back to the first floor every time I got out. I spent more time waiting on the elevator to come back up from level one to three than anything. It would be better if it waited on the floor where you left it like every other elevator in the World.3. Wish I didnt have to enter my code every time I got in. I understand and appreciate this from a security standpoint but a swipe card would have been better.4. Wish elevator would stay open long enough to empty it. Several times the elevator went back to level one with my stuff still in it. Finally I started blocking the door from closing but it was an added step.Aside from the elevator issues Id recommend this place to anyone. Everything is nice and new. I feel very secure about having my things stored there. The prices are very competitive. Especially when you consider its climate controlled.

I moved from Missouri at the end of July. After a very difficult drive due to poor maintenance on my rental truck and tow trailer, I was warmly welcomed to San Antonio by Tiara. After listening to my story, she eased my concerns and reassured me that this stressful life event would soon pass. My interactions with her and Denise after our initial conversation were always very pleasant. I was overwhelming impressed by their professional demeanors. If I could give more than five stars I would. The location is very clean, well maintained, and in a safe area. I strongly encourage anyone that has short or long-term storage needs to do business with them!

I truly believe he was sincere with his apology and the company has adjusted the rates for my two storage units for the time being. I say that because I of course dont expect that to be indefinite but I would like to think when next rate changes happen, there will be more consideration as to when customers signed up. This company made things right with me as a customer and with that being said, I could reccommend them to others based on the integrity shown in my situation. Why? Because after not even using this storage facility one year, they raised the rates. When I called to complain about the fact I hadnt even been using this place a year and they were already raising the prices, I was told by Patrick the manager that he understood Id only been there a short time,stated he wasnt aware the company was raising prices and would get back to me concerning the issue and to work something out for me. He never contacted me about the situation at all.Im not a cheap customer at all but come on, I haent used this place a year yet, at a year mark I can understans a price hike. Would I rec this place now to new people? Not all for fear of the same thing happening to them. Do I still use this place...unfortunately yes.Only because of the inconvience it would be to ME to move two storage units.

Relocating from Houston took a toll on are pocket and are time, Denise was kind and friendly and worked with us. She meet up with us on the day the storage was closed.The facility was well up kept and clean, saw security cameras on all respective places they should be and pin code upon entering and exiting facility. Rates are reasonable as well and if I had to recommend to anyone looking for a well kept, strong security and friendly staff in the San Antonio area I will recommend Lockaway Storage every time! Patrick is the Man! No issues and really liked the facility

Nice clean facilities, but you can get locked out after a certain time so be careful if you storing things, dont leave your belongings or storage door open to go outaide to grab more items to store, cause doors lock permanentaly after a certain time and your belongings will remain in hall way and door to your unit will remain ope all night as well

Very secure facility. You can only access your floor via a secure pin you must enter. You have to enter your pin to depart the facility.

I had a unit for a few months with lockaway and it was fantastic! I never had any issues, the staff was very friendly, and it was a nice experience.

They are always nice and will help you with anything that you need yall should rent a storage from them because everything is well taken care of and if there is a problem they fix it within that day

Doors dont lock correctly, I still had to pay the full amount for my storage even though I moved everything out on the 6th. They WILL NOT prorate or refund a portion or all of your money. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND friends or family to rent from Lockaway Storage.
