I have sent several shipments from this location. Just sent 2 last week. Way better experience than using USPS. But I do know how to package things for shipping, so I dont have any damages on my destination deliveries.
I’ve shipped multiple packages already in shoe boxes that are secure and safe to make sure what I’m sending will arrive safely and the lady there told me that I can’t send them in shoe boxes? Why is it every other time I’ve went previously they’ve never said a thing. If that was the case then they should have told me in first place when I started to ship in shoe boxes. 🙄
I saw the other reviews and was a little shocked since this place just opened up but I went in today because the location is so convenient. My visit went super well! Mariah was the best!
I came in fifteen minutes before closing and just needed a receipt for a package with a prepaid label. I walked right past a woman who had been helped and was told that I couldn’t be helped because my package was wrapped in brown paper. Cool beans. No issue there, I can just rip the paper off and tape the label. They have tape. The location is inside of a Walmart. Walmart has tape. No problem. Then I was told, “I’m already closing up”. How are you closing up before the store is even closed??
I went to this location on a rainy day with a complicated request and received great customer service! I wish I could remember her name (I think it was Mariah but the receipt says Christina), but the employee behind the counter was very polite and answered my dozen or so questions and gave extra information that she thought would be helpful to me. Not only that, but I called ahead 3 times with questions and after the recording prompted me to press 9 to speak with an employee or something like that, the phone was answered almost immediately! Half the time I try to call anywhere before going and potentially wasting a trip, I have such a hard time getting through, especially large corporate companies but I just had a great experience with every interraction.
The other poster is right, this Fedex inside of Walmart absolutely sucks. There were three people standing there with a very in your face demeanor. The lady just grabs my personal papers out of my hands and proceeds to look at them, as if its any of her damn business whats on my papers. Then, she was like, oh, just read me the address, acting if I was trying to hand off my phone to her when I wasnt (I dont know how the heck she got that impression)...then to top it off, I was told that they couldnt type the label with the correct address how I needed it (which wasnt long by the way) because there were not enough characters. How is there not enough characters for a short address? If I wouldve written it on an envelope it wouldnt take more than ten seconds. Theres no way you can write any proper address if you have less characters than what I needed. Also, I was just handed my receipt as if she was trying to fling it at me. Miranda and the crew, work on respect and dignity; you dont have to treat people like trash because youre inside of a Walmart. Everybody, this Fedex is horrible, please avoid it at all costs.
