I am a native of Myrtle Beach and I think Ive shopped all the grocery stores and have found the best food for the best prices (especially the meats) consistently. Also they have the best selection of frozen vegetables. Its rare to find a good selection of vegetables in a clear package for inspection before purchase. The stores are impeccably clean and the bathrooms are well taken care of. The staff are above average and are mostly cheerful and eager to help.

I like Food Lion in general for prices. Usually go to the one on 38th Ave. Stopped here because I was in the area. Not as big a store as the one on 38th....but still friendly staff and good prices.

Visited here while on vacation and had a great selection of food. Very happy to see many of my favorite products including organic selections. Very clean store too.

Purchased some sale items, and did not notice until I got home they I had basically been cheated out of $10. Contacted corporate b/c I couldnt get in touch with anyone at store, was told they could not find a transaction nor my MVP number. I took a picture of my receipt and card and sent in a reply email to the person who had contacted me. Not the first time this happened, but it IS the look at time it will happen to me.

They refused to sell me alcohol that I needed to cook with because my pregnant wife was under age. My family has always shopped here but we are no longer loyal customers of food lion.

Store is clean and very organized employees are not to friendly In the grocery department but I did speak to a young gentleman put up stock in the meat department was very friendly and I had to purchase a few things in the deli department and the were very polite and the cashier was very nice.

Although not the biggest store, the store does the best it can during covid-19. Recently went through remodel which made it that much better. Store is always clean, bathrooms are always clean, employees are always Pleasant, the new manager does well. Always patronize this store.

This is my neighborhood grocery store and I like shopping here. Lines are generally short and they dont force you to the self-checkout like some stores. In my last two visits, though (July 2020) it has reached the point where customers are noticeably better about wearing masks than employees. That makes me want to avoid the store. Details: maybe 90% of customers had masks that covered their mouth and nose. Maybe two of 7 employees I saw had that (it was one or two cashiers). Two cashiers had their nose out, a stock clerk had no mask at all (in past visits Ive seen the same guy with a mask jauntily hanging from his ear). I think another stocker had no mask, but Im not sure if that guys blue shirt was a food lion shirt or if he was some sort of delivery guy. dont remember every one of them, but come on, guys, if your customers can cover their mouth and nose, you can, too. Obviously this is a management issue - someone has told them masks arent important. I dont like it.

This franchise is ok. What I like most about it is its small size compared to some larger grocery stores. No self check-out and wait time is often longer than other stores.

This is my grocery store and very conveniently located from my home behind Tanger outlet. I shop other places but Foodlion is the bomb!

Karen at the service counter was rude and did not knowledge customers and her long line she had. She was doing the counts for lottery which I understand needs to be done but when you have a huge line then she should of had common sense to stop what she was doing and help. She gave me an attitude when she saw that I wanted my drink and a pack of cigs stating that any register could get cigs not just her well I didn’t know and either way she should not have said that cause it’s her job to service the customer. She’s just like any other Karens. Awful.

There was a wifu car in the parking lot... and a bus.. but besides that it is a good place

This food lion on 501 close to CCU rocks super clean nice aisles. Plus the employees have smiles and seem very pleasant. Unlike the food lion dump on 544 and myrtle ridge. They have nasty people there with the exception of. LINDA one of the stars there

Really wish they bought CVS building when it moved out and expanded the store. Since they didnt aisles are way bgg too narrow making shopping annoying if others are in same aisle. Pricing is best thing with the store. Cheaper than most around

This store did not have 1 way sales and were out of wipes at the exit. Lots of empty shelves. Good amount of beef but low in pork.

Food Lion is great. Produce variety is good, the prices reasonable and the service is great.

Actually I would race the store at 3.9 stars... Now that the remodel is basically complete the store presents a greater selection of goods. Though there are more aisles the store is better organized and aisles are more clearly marked for content. Unfortunately the bakery was not expanded leaving Publix as the best bakery in the area. Overall the improvements are a good thing.

Went to get a rotisserie chicken at 5:45. No hot chicken. They had 2 cold ones, dont know how long they were sitting in the cooler. No thanks.

Nothing special. A store. Meat dept. Is sad. They dont take orders for special cuts. Why have that then? Seafood is not fresh. Fronzen thawed.

I dont like THIS PARTICULAR FOOD LION because of the staff ( IF I have gone there it is a matter of convenience to other errands I am running)...they never smile or greet you and seem more concerned about what their coworker is going to do when they get off of work or if they want to do something over the weekend...BUT I like the variety and prices...if you have a FL card then you can get really great deals. There are times they are out of things I do need and/or the only produce left is the ones no one wants but, Food Lion as a whole is a good grocery store... JUST GO TO THE ONE ON 544 JUST OFF OF MYRTLE RIDGE....THEY ALWAYS SMILE AND ARE ACTUALLY ENGAGING

I frequently visit Food Lion because they have great deals and they always have very many specials. All of the staff are helpful and will do their best. Pretty much any type of grocery items that you need and more you will find here. Linsey was totally helpful and friendly and went out of her way to show great customer service.

Nice clean well-organized store. Associates look you in the eye, offer you help and wish you a good day. Great selection good prices, especially on sale items.

6:30am is a great time to run in and grab a few things. Quick service and no lines at that time of day. All was well stocked. No clutter in the aisles. Friendly staff and customers.

I use Food Lion because its located close to my home. I dont think they have a really great variety of products. Also even though they announced changes were coming in the past, I still have problems with the freshness of produce. I buy fruits and vegetables primarily on the day or two that Im going to be eating them. But as always the employees are very friendly and helpful every time I go in. Today I was loading my car which was parked in the handicapped spot. An employee came right over to help me unload the cart.

This Food Lion is the first one Ive ever been to where the staff could care less. Alot walk around droopy dog.Im paralyzed on my left side so my husband goes to the grocery store for me. He cant read that well so he ask the staff to get the list of items for me. I wont do that again. Hed probably have a better chance at getting what I need.
