I saw Dr. Maes and was also helped by 2 other people. I wish I had their names, but everyone was so great. They answered my questions and were really helpful. Even though I was one of the last patients seen, and we stayed after closing to finish, they did not make me feel like I was an inconvenience. They were all thorough and did not rush the process.
Call a week ahead to make appt for 2 children, give them names, social security numbers date of birth, and insurance information A WEEK Ahead! Also filled out all the online paperwork required for the appointment a WEEK ahead! Drive an hour to the appointment only to be told they cant verify there insurance because its SATURDAY!! So they wont be able to see them! Are you freaking kidding me!!! You had a week to verify insurance!

I was able to get appointment on same day I contacted in Cookeville, TN. It was only because my prescription was so unusual that I couldnt get my glasses the same day, but I could still get them sooner than I could even get an appointment for a eye exam. The employees were very busy with others, but managed to find time for me. One of the things that impressed me most is that after just one them called me by name, all other employees greeted me by name. Also, my entire visit was only 45 minutes with the most thorough exam Ive ever had.
I am 100% happy with this Company. I ordered two pairs of glasses and they said it would probably be two weeks, they were back in exactly one week. They also told me it would probably take at least a week for my eyes to get used to them, I could see perfect as soon as I put them on.
I wish I could leave 0 stars. My husband called them and confirmed they accept our insurance, then I filled out the paperwork the day before with our insurance information. I drove just over 30 minutes to get there only to be told they dont accept our insurance. I even received a email and text message confirmation regarding my appointment. Maybe you should confirm that you accept someones insurance for making them drive that far. No apology either just kept being told that the manager said we dont accept it but the manager wasnt there. If youre going to work in customer service you might want to have customer service skills and follow up and follow through before making someone arrive for an appointment that their insurance isnt accepted.

I have gone to Visionworks in Florida for over 25 years for all my glass & contact needs with no issues or complaints. I wasnt going to do a review but honestly I was very upset with the way the Dr Miranda was during my visit. I had my first visit to this store on 12/3/2020. I was in need of new contacts & eye exam. I had brought my old prescriptions from Vision works in Florida just so they would have a record of my prior contact prescription. He really didnt even talk much during the exam and when I spoke to him about my needs it was like he tuned me out. I have a problem with a Dr that doesnt not know how to communicate but we continued on with the exam. When we were done and he had the girls put contacts in my eyes he told them/me my prescription was 2.50 in my left eye & 5.50 in my right eye ( my last contact prescription was 3.50 left & 4.75 so the 2.50 seemed odd) I questioned it but he really didnt want to discuss it with me. IT was like he was somewhere else. After putting in contact I knew something wasnt right. He took me back to the exam room and honestly he was rude. He then told the girl to change the right I to 4.75. I left the office with 2.50 on the left & 4.75 on the right and I didnt feel they were correct. On the way home I knew they werent right. I called the office and was scheduled to come back the next day 12/4/20. I did and the DR wouldnt not even see me even though I had an appointment. He had Kristan (not positive on spelling) who handles contact for the office sit down with me. After explaining to her that something wasnt right showing her my old prescription that my left I was a 3.50 not 2.50 in the past. She went back & Dr still didnt take time for me even though I had an appointment. She came back saying the DR would write a prescription for 3.50 in left eye but if I had any problems I would have to come back in and pay?? (the ladies who work in the office were all very nice and I had no issues with how they dealt with me. Their hands are tied in this situation)I have NEVER had this type of service from a Vision Works office in all the time I have gone. I will not go back to this office again. I have never had any issues that were resolved in this manner. Most of the times the Dr would have me tested the contact out and do a follow-up visit. This Dr is very unprofessional and I would not recommend him. I wish I would have read the reviews before going to this office. But I have always had great service at the prior Vision works office (Brandon, Fl - Brandon Mall). I really hated to complain but this was totally unprofessional.
Let me just begin by saying that I dont ever leave reviews, but I DO read them... And today, when I read some of the negative reviews written about Dr.Miranda, I knew that I had to say something in his defense. Dr.Miranda has been my optometrist for several years now and I will NEVER go to another optometrist. For years I bounced around from eye doctor to eye doctor and no one could ever diagnose me. On my very first visit at Visionworks, Dr.Miranda was able to identify and quickly solve the issue with my eye.... he is a hero in my book! But for someone to say that he is condescending or cold and callous simply appalls me. Dr. Miranda is all business hes not a jokester and I appreciate that about him. Not everyone needs a best friend at their optometrist office. I have friends, I needed an eye doctor, and I found one in Dr.Miranda. So therefore, if you are looking for an optometrist, someone that you can trust, whose judgment you can trust, then look no further than with Dr.Miranda at Visionworks. The entire staff is professional, highly efficient and very knowledgeable. You cannot go wrong with this place it is the very best Vision Center in the Upper Cumberland far as Im concerned.
Staff were Friendly and Helpful, Dr Miranda was very patient and did a great job explaining everything. Large selection of frames and good prices! Everyone wore masks to keep the public protected.
I read all the negative reviews but gave it a try. Needed glasses fast. These folks were fantastic from beginning to end. Mary was so friendly and welcoming which made my visit very, very comfortable. Fantastic selection of glasses, all price ranges. Got the 2 for one price and couldn’t be happier. Worth a try!
Absolutely the worst customer service. My appointment was made for 6:30pm store closes at 7pm which made for a great experience if you enjoy shopping for glasses in the dark because the showroom lights have been turned off or if you enjoy being rushed by someone pretending to be a manager thats in such a rush she cant explain any of your options. Ridiculous!
Other staff were VERY friendly except for the optometrist (Dr. Miranda). I felt that he wasn’t very clear with me regarding my exam and expected me to understand from his point of view as an optometrist which I am not. He would not take the time to listen to my concerns about my vision, but yet treated me as I was someone seeking drugs when he stated, “I can tell you want glasses, and I don’t care to write you a prescription but you don’t need them.” All my life I have wore at least reading glasses now all of a sudden I don’t need them at all? I assume he must have thought I was lying when I stated my vision is blurry and I get headaches without my glasses. (Which I was prescribed glasses to wear full time, last year at the same place different doctor.) I refused to let them charge my insurance and requested to see the other optometrist when she was available, because I felt like she was very understanding and was able to explain the exam at a lower level. If not I will have to find service elsewhere. I was very disgusted by the way I was treated from Dr. Miranda. I feel as though he’s not very friendly with his staff either because they did not seem the least bit surprised when I brought my complaint to their attention.

Dr. Miranda was very unengaged with my child. He was very cold and not interactive. He kinda just brushed off my concerns and questions. He barely talked to me or my child. He was kind of rude to my son and he seemed like he was just trying to get out of there as fast as possible. He made us feel like we were just another number in a conveyor belt. He needs to learn to be more friendly towards his clients.

This is the wrost place i ever been in last year about this time last year i need eye glasses went in the India dr charged me for stuff i didnt want then the lady said you owe us $30.00 dollars for eye exam my insurance payes everything in full this place took my money treat me like grap i hate this place
My wife had her glasses made 4 times and adjusted more than 5times so whats up my wife is Deborah Hutchings and we have always been satisfied with the service when we got the work in house. We began with Dr Value Vision since the buy out the quality is lacking and will cost us to look for others to make our glasses. My wife has a complicated prescription but the 1st was totally wrong script well we are gone our eyes are important, maybe not to the store but to us
Im not very happy with this place I ordered lens over 3 weeks ago with this place and they have failed to contact me and let me know they are in. It took forever to get someone on the phone and when I finally did get someone the lady was rude and lied to me. She told me she tried calling over a week ago and my voice mail was not working yet I have no missed calls and I checked my voicemail and its working fine. She had a condescending tone in her voice which annoyed me.The actual eye exam was not bad the employees were okay not too rude but the doctor is not engaged with customers at all almost depressed to be there. You dont really go here for the service you go because no one else is open or accepting patients. I had to get an eye exam quick for the wife and this place works for that. If you want good customer service or nice people to deal with this probably is not the place for you. They do have some nice ladies that were very helpful but not everyone here is like that.
Called to schedule an appointment, they had me in within 24 hours of my first call. They called ahead to take insurance info and my exam was done in probably 20 minutes max. Good fast experience.

My significant other went in there today and had a bad experience. The staff was very rude and condensending towards him even though he was very polite. He was there to get a trial pair of contacts and he was told he didnt have to pay the bill all up front and then he was told he had no choice to once he was done. There was a hidden fee the doctor didnt mention until he already examined his eyes without saying it would cost extra. Once everything was all said and done he walked out having to pay the full bill, and extra hidden fees, treated VERY poorly. They failed to provide good service and an even worse prescription. We will not return. Do not recommend if people easily judge you by appearance. They refused to release information to help him get glasses until he comes back to buy more contacts, and couldnt even spell his last name correctly.
I would recommend Visionworks to anyone. The doctor and the staff are all very nice, and the service is wonderful. Always prompt. No long waits for your exam. Also, extremely affordable, even without vision insurance. My exam plus 2 pairs of glasses was less than $300, and I got both pairs of my glasses the same day! I will always return here for my vision needs. Thank you to all of you at this location!
My appointment was at 11:30 and I was out by 12:15. Dr. Miranda was quick but informative. Abby helped me pick out my glasses and told me they would be ready IN AN HOUR. Krista helped me with my contacts and was so sweet. The office was neat, clean, everyone was kind and helpful. Never in my life have I had such a stress free eye exam before. I will definitely continue to see Dr. Miranda and his staff.
Worst customer service ever!! After being reassured that my sons glasses would be done Thursday after a vacation of their lens management. We waited 2 days after Rebecca told they would be done, we drove an hour to Cookeville on to find his glasses werent done. Never once telling us that it could actually take up to 2 weeks. Rebecca really needs to take her responsibilities much more seriously and stress that the latest the glasses could be finished is 2 weeks and do not make commitments that other employees cannot complete. Makes for very bad business and leaves customers looking for an better option. I can only hope that Mary, the person of management who at this time is also on vacation sees this and takes the time and effort to reach out.
Expensive with or without insurance. Their buy one get one is a joke. Believe me you pay for both pair. The staff is very rude unless you are agreeing with them. Just because they say the Dr has recommended something doesnt mean you should buy it. That is their sales gimmick. Yes Im a very dissatisfied customer who will not return
Sorry this post is kind of long!!!!!I had to go in for a recheck because I was having a few problems with my new glasses. I did not get my glasses here but I did get my exam here. I was told when I called that they did not take appointments. When I got there I told them I needed to be rechecked and they said walk ins had a two hour wait. As I waited there were 7 people taken in before me that were walk ins after I had checked in. There was also a couple that came in that had an appointment at 4 but wanted to be seen sooner. So they told them since they had an appointment they would be seen sooner. This was at 11 and I was still waiting, I had checked in at 10:30. Then I got a text message with an appointment time as 1:30. So I asked about the appointment because that was 2 1/2 hours from then not 2 hours from 10:30 when I checked in. So I waited more!! After waiting for almost 3 hours I got rechecked. He said the prescription had not changed much from the original exam three weeks ago. But it must have changed some but they would not change the prescription, said this one should be fine. He told the lady to tilt my frames more. So now I may end up paying for another exam to make sure about the prescription because I am still having blurry vision. The only reason I am giving them 1 star is because the lady that adjusted my glasses was great. She made sure they were comfortable and tried to adjust the glasses like my old ones. The other staff is not very friendly. I will not be going back to this place unless I absolutely have to.
This is the worst eye doctors to go to in Cookeville. They have awful customer service and don’t care about their patients. All they care about is getting money from you or your insurance. If you’re looking for a good doctor with a caring and professional staff, DONT GO HERE. I wish I would have gone to a different eye doctor in Cookeville. This place is the absolute worst! Go anywhere else but here!
They are very scattered brained and unorganized. I was asked 5 times if I had insurance by different people. Each time I answered NO!!!! Then my daughter found a pair of glasses she really liked and was told it had to be 69.95 or higher before insurance would cover it. Asked why and didny get an answer. Then I asked if we could pay out of pocket and was told NO!!!! This is what I think is called insurance fraud!!! Then I the lady starts writing down the different kinds of lenses with different prices and when I went to take it she said that I couldnt store policy. After adding up it was going to cost me 400.00 on just on set of glasses. My daughters insurance is going to hear about this. I hope they decide you go with Walmart. They didnt even come with a cleaning cloth or spray. Will never go back!!!
I tried to call for an appointment and it took them forever to get the phone. I proceeded to book an appointment for new contacts. When I showed up for the appointment, all the staff in the front office where talking and laughing with out addressing me. During the appointment I proceeded to tell the assistant that I really would prefer to purchase my contacts at Walmart for the cost. She was very aware of this from the beginning. When I proceeded to check out, I reminded the assistant of my purchase choice. They printed out my RX for me to take to Walmart. The sale associates at walmart said she couldnt fill the RX because it was written for another len. I proceeded to call the Visionworks office to clear up any confusion. They proceeded to send another RX to Walmart.To sum it up, Visionworks will not write the RX that was promised from the start. I will have to get another appointment they said to change the RX. I am highly outranged!!!!!!!!!! This is totally uncalled for and I will never recommend Visionworks to anyone because of this and the fact that I am having to pay for another eye appointment!!!

Ok...I always considered this place Big Box and always heard stories about it being the used car lot version of eyewear!! Well needed glasses..had my exam done elsewhere and went in VWs to check out the line. They were taking covid seriously and it was appreciated. Found a pair I liked, the young lady told us she needed to check our insurance and what was covered...(here we go!) She came back, said we had great insurance, gave me quotes on what I wanted that were accurate per my insurance cheat sheet plus abit better than I was expecting. My wife had a pair of prescription sunglasses (not bought at VWs) that needed adjustment... Alice spent a good 15 minutes to get them correct at no charge. Not sure about other VWs locations but the Cookville one rates up there with me.

Fast and VERY friendly, wife and I just walked in with no appointment and got right in. They had my lens in stock and I had my glasses the next day!!! They were going to try to get them done that day, I told them it was late in the day and it wasnt a worry. My wife had to get progressive lenses, hers will be up to 2 weeks, but Im sure they will be in sooner.
Busy but friendly. Big selection of frames. Not the cheapest place but better than others. Staff knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. They are not pushy but do get you through quickly but not rushed
The staff at Visionworks was professional yet personable. They answered every question and made finding glass frames a breeze. I told them the price I wanted to be in and they did not try to up sell me which means a lot to me. Taking care of your customers as you would want to be taken care of, over seeing everyone as potential $$$$$$. That’s what gets return business. Thanks for a great experience!
The lady who checked me in got me in right away and was so friendly and nice. The doctor was quick. The only complaint is the girl who checked me out had an attitude, she acted like she didn’t want to be there she barely acknowledged me. If I had not encountered her it would have been a great experience.
They were very friendly, on time, helpful,professional,and thorough about the eye exam and fix of frame and options of lenses. Looking forward to getting the glasses and hopefully they will be as good as the exam and set up was.
One of the best places to go and get your eyes checked and to get your glasses. Most of the time I just walk in and they get me in right away, its very little wait time. Every time Ive ordered glasses I got them same day. All of the employees are very nice and they try to work with you to meet your needs. Ive been reading the reviews on here and I feel like most of them are false because Ive never had a bad experience at Visionworks.
They were excellent with my kids, giving them duel eye exams and making it an easier time for me! Plus, being it was an insurance appt they usually limit your choices but my kids got to pick from anything on sale in the store. They both got what they loved and are very happy.

I travel for work and am hardly in the same place for very long so doctors appointments for me are a hassle. However at this location it was wonderful from the time I walked in until I left. The staff was efficient and seemed very knowledgeable about what they were doing. The doctor was very nice and my exam was great. They have some really cool technology and I didnt even need my eyes dilated! They had my contacts right there in the store and even gave me a rebate to save money on them on top of getting a pair of glasses for free. They even made the glasses right there in an hour. I was just out shopping and happened to stop by for some information and they helped me get all these things done I had been meaning to do for a long time.
I was VERY satisfied with my exam and my glasses. I got online and read some of the negative reviews so I was hesitant to go there, but I like to form my own opinion and Im glad I did. The Dr. took his time with me and gave me a very thorough exam and answered all my questions and Catherine was the woman that fitted me for my glasses and they fit great !!! I am very pleased and will certainly return !!!!

My first experience here was pretty great, my daughter and I both got exams, picked out glasses and were helped in an efficient timely manner.However, 10 months later we are back and both need new lenses under the insurance I purchased for them only to discover it’s like a 2 week wait. I gave them over a week and went back to check on the progress, they actually have my daughters lenses in stock but it’s still going to take 2 weeks? t’s 9:45, in the morning and no one is in the lab working on orders even though they say they have “trays and trays” of glasses waiting to be made because of a sale.When you are backed up, get you act together and work some overtime, hire extra people or whatever it takes to get caught up.Not sure I will go back in the future.

Appointment went well. The doctor didnt have much personality. I expected that though because I had him last year too. But, he knows what he is doing and gets it right the first time.The staff was awesome, the ladies there really know how to help pick out what you want and need. As well as explain what insurance covers and does not.Overall great experience and not giving a five star only because of the doctors cold bedside manner.
I had the best experience I could have ever hoped for. The ladies there helped me choose the one I looked best in, the took my insurance, and my glasses made within 30 mins to an hour. I would recommend everyone who lives around the cookeville area to get their glasses there.
I went to this store to get the 19 dollar exam and pick out some glasses. I drove over an hour to get to the store. I picked out two frames and left after paying. I received a call the next day that one of the pairs could not be made due to my prescription. They advised that if I just got the one pair, they would be $60 more because of the buy two and get 40 and 60 percent off. I asked them to refund my money since I had not seen another pair that I liked. They advised that I had to come back to the store for a refund. So, another hour drive there to get my refund. The next day, no credit on my account for the refund. I called the store to find out when they would be giving my refund to which they stated that it is up to my credit card company. According to my credit card company, no refund has been issued. So...here I am having to dispute the charge.You would think that the people at Visionworks would make sure that your prescription would be able to fit in the frames in the store. Not much help on the refund either.
My entire family and I have been patients at Visionworks for the last 4 years, and we have always had an incredible experience. Dr. Miranda is a man of few words, but he is very knowledgable, concise, and considerate with your time. It is very nice for us to be able to walk in without appointments and be quickly seen with all of our different, busy schedules!
Spoke with the manager Diane over the phone in an attempt to get a copy of my prescription. After refusing to email it to me saying it was in violation of HIPPA, she hung up on me. Do not go near this location.
I wouldn’t recommend this place I called 7-7-2020 to see if they accepted my insurance and if so I would make an appointment they said they did so I set an appointment for 7-8-2020 I sit there for about 20 minutes and then they decided they don’t take my insurance that’s a lack of professionalism
This is privately owned & staff is not interested in doing a good job. Calling corporate is fruitless.Terrible! I left in worse shape, i do know my dr has a delinquent son, as he never got off his phone during exam. Now im left fighting for my $ back. I Still cant see. Dont patronize this place. Just plain bad!

I WISH I COULD LEAVE NEGATIVE STARS.The entire experience was a waste of time and money. A month wait for contacts? 1-800-CONTACTS can have them in my mailbox in 3 days. It is apparent that I got the end of the day package, I felt like I was inconveniencing them by being there. At one point I was prepared to pay and leave without a contact prescription in an attempt not to waste anymore time. I wish I would have since the price to leave without it was only half what it cost for the prescription (a prescription I am not comfortable using).

They take avantage of people with insurance and try to charge you more than if you pay out of pocket. When I called them on it they made up something outlandish. When I called my insurance they said that they either made it up or was providing services they were not licensed to provide. The person I was dealing with was a manager and told me she couldnt give me a refund because she checked me out. I had to wait 2 days and come back when someone else was working. I told her what happened and she looked at me like I was crazy because the lie her coworker told was outlandish even to her. However, they still didnt give me a full refund.
Absolutely worst experience ever. Ive wore glasses/contacts for 20+years. They had horrible customer service. They actual doctor could care less what I was saying. He spent a total of five minutes to examine my eyes, gave me a pair of contacts, and sent me on. They didnt give me a prescription and and have been a total hassle. I paid over a hundred dollars for nothing but a sample pair of contacts that give me a headache. Dont go here. I would give them negative starts if possible. I just moved to the area and dont normally give bad reviews but I hope this helps someone else avoid the hassle they are.
I have gone to this optometry location for years and service has been well. However, upon receiving notice that my glasses were ready, I attempted to pick them up. I called ahead to say I may be there 4min past closing but would like to pick them up to save a two and half hour round trip drive from my home to the location. I still attempted in hopes of grace being provided, though a nonchalant and matter of fact attitude was present on the phone. I was able to show up at 7:01pm and they said that I would have to come back another time. Its not like I am a short 10min drive away, its very difficult to journey 1hour and 15min one way for glasses. And for being such a longstanding customer, I am appalled at the disinterest and lack of care.
I have had my eyes checked 3 times with 3 different prescription. They still arent right. Ive been wearing glasses since middle school and have never had such trouble. After the second remake of my lenses I ask for a refund and was told I hadnt been released by the Dr. And that it has been over 30 days. Im like Ive been having problems with them from the beginning and I give you a chance to make it right and Im punished for your mistake. So they make them a 3rd time and theyre still not right and here I have to go back again and theyre a town over and Ive had to make multiple trips. Not happy and will never go back there again after this is settled. Oh and some of the employees are rude.

I found that out right before checkout and was shocked considering that I called ahead to see if there would be any issue and told them what my current prescription was. During that call they told me that I would be able to pick them up next day and during checkout they said they don’t carry that high of a prescription in stock and they don’t know who I would have talked to. After all was said and done, I left without contacts (because everything was blurry) AND without glasses. (because I need them before 2 weeks) 2 1/2 hours later & my insurance billed and copay paid, I left with nothing and see worse now than when I went in. I will say that other than the doctor who was incredibly rude and arrogant, the staff was nice and tried to be helpful. Unfortunately they said they couldn’t do anything else and I would need to return a different day if I wasn’t happy with the doctor. Wish I had read the google reviews before I visited this location!
They do take most insurance providers. Dr Miranda is kind and excellent in his knowledge of optometry. Very happy with staff.
Wow, I think these people could have kicked my dog and stolen my lunch money and I would have been less offended! I’ve never had an experience in a retail setting that made me feel more like an inconvenience to the people I was trying to spend money with than I experienced today. Indignant is the word that comes to mind. Over promised and under delivered. If you’re considering doing business here, I’d recommend taking about an hour of your day standing in front of the mirror telling yourself just how little you matter and how utterly unappreciated you really are. Completely and utter waste of my time, there went an hour of my life that I can’t get back.
I love visionworks. Everyone is so nice & helpful. They have great deals on exams, glasses & contacts! I will definitely be coming back for years & telling everyone i know to go here also.

I cant say enough nice things about this place. I went in there today in a hurry to get back to the DMV ( and everyone knows how long it takes there) because they said I failed the eye test. Anyway I was in and out of value vision in about 40 minutes or less with a new pair of glasses at a great price. And back to the DMV and passed the eye test . Thank you value vision for a great pair of glasses.

Diane was our eye tech throughout the exam and purchased of eyeglasses. She was thorough and professional!!
They lied to me about the price and scammed me, plus they were rude the entire time and were rushing me. I had to wait 5 days for a manager to be present to give me a refund on the glasses. I got stuck paying 90 though for the appointment. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
It was the worst experience ever. Please do not go here. I wanted to get glasses and contact the eye doctor act as if I was not important and he wasnt engaged . The contacts was the wrong size and even caused discomfort in my eye and caused irritation. They need a whole new crew or close down. Period
Lost my glasses. Got an appointment the same day. They have great hours, friendly staff, and a large collection of frames. Would highly recommend!!

Horrible Service!!! They treat there employees like garbage... I heard Mary speak to one in the employees very rudely when they had to call out for a legit emergency!! She should have been ashamed of herself for treating another person with so little compassion. I also had to request a particular document I need for a client multiple times and it was refused by the same person listed above. This interaction took place months ago and I was going to let it go but when I see Mary Forrester begging for people to post 5 star reviews I figured now was as good as time as any to give my HONEST review of this place. Nothing about my experience with this place was pleasant and I will NOT be returning!
The staff at front desk was nothing but rude from the time we walked in. Even when asking a simple question she became snappy and got an instant attitude with me. And the other people that were there that day. Very disappointed

BOTTOM LINE: Go somewhere elseI went to visionworks in Knoxville several yrs ago and had an amazing experience. However, we moved and foolishly expected a similar experience. Ill NEVER go back to this location and would not recommend. My main complaint is that I picked up my glasses on Friday. The next day I decided to get them adjusted a little more in Knoxville because I was in town that day. The very first thing VW Knox says is Im so glad you came in. Your left lens is about to fall out During this time we see that my thick lens was not polished and grinded down to properly accommodate the nose piece on the left as well. I highly suspected that the first pair of glasses I got did not have the proper lenses I paid for and I feel like that was confirmed when I replaced them with a similar pair that magically was more than half the weight of the original.Dr Miranda is a pretty good dr. The majority of the staff is friendly. There is a girl there that I interacted with multiple times that she genuinely seemed to hate being there. I think she might have been the manager because she handled our problems. She was not wearing a name tag so I could not confirm.
Diane is very polite and always helpful I have been coming here for years however the other girls especially the black hair really thick girl and blonde was extremely rude hateful and a complete smartasses I don’t rarely put reviews but they deserve a zero if I ever had an employee to treat a customer the way they acted they would fired on spot!
Had a contact exam did not have a trial pair of my contacts supposedly ordered the contacts nearly three weeks ago and still not in and get nothing but attitude toward me when I ask why very bad customer service

I couldnt be more happy with the staff. We used Wal-Mart before and my son broke his glasses a few weeks ago, Walmart was not helpful in the least and the staff at visionworks bent over backwards to get us what he needed no matter what. I was very pleased with the entire experience so I chose to get my own glasses that day as well and ivI now scheduled my other 2 kids to get theirs there as well.
My husband and I both made an appointment showed up at 3 got her eyes tested within 15 minutes and that included doing the paperwork everyone was very friendly and helpful with the frames and lenses explaining how everything worked most definitely will return

I’ve always used Vision Works in Oklahoma with great results. The eye exam for my son went fine. The doctor seemed knowledgeable. We were just visiting family in Cookeville and my son ran out of contacts. So, I thought he could have an updated eye exam and order contacts. The trials weren’t even in stock. Which had to be ordered. I was told I’d be called in less than a week to pick up trials. I waited two weeks and called myself to find out the trials and contacts were in. I took my son in and he tried on the contacts, saw the doc things seemed fine. The. I was told only right eye contacts were in. They would call when everything had arrived. Another week goes by, no call. I called back and complained then I was told the contacts were in and I could pick them up. When I arrived, my son, was with my family, an hour away. They would not release the contacts to me because my son wasn’t present. I had to drive an hour back to get him. Then drive an hour to Cookeville for my son to be asked the same questions he had been asked when he was seen for the trials. I wasted weeks in Tennessee waiting on contacts. This was the worst experience I have ever had. I would never go back to your establishment ever again. I was initially told th contacts could have been mailed to me. So if they were going to have been mailed when would the doc have seen my son per the young lady who refused to give me the contacts the third time I had been in? What a mess.
Dont let them fool you. Been there twice now and itll be at least 2 weeks before you get your glasses. Same day or next day is a joke if not a lie.

Lets just say Im looking for a new eye doctor. They are not very professional. There was nothing spectacular about this place. Shawna is good to work with a budget on contacts. It was a little dusty...I seen at least 3 fuzz balls flying in the air. They screwed me over on my ins apparently because they made a mistake I have to pay twice and possibly overdraft my account.
Dr Miranda is the BEST! Hes been examining my eyes for years, and is always spot on with my prescription!! The staff really does try to go above and beyond for all of their patients, and there are tons of frames to choose from!
Very very turstless... I went to them to have sunglasses throughout my insurance. And they said I need to get one what is available in the store only. I chose one pair that written it cost 179$. My insurance told me I have 200$ vision benefit. That means I should be able to take that sunglasses with out paying any penny. In fact the lady told me I need to pay 219$ Out of pocket to have it. I was wounding and I asked her so, how much my insurance will pay she said they will pay 200$ which the total will be 419$. That did not make sense to me so left and I went to Center of Vision store and I got one is better and polorized with only paying 50$ out of pocket. Beside all that the lady was very rude to me. Do not wast your time and money. Find some one else.
Was extremely helpful and patient with my mother. Now my father and myself are going to visit them too soon!
