Ok so this is premature but Im going to put then to the test Im looking to buy today maybe a couple of instruments but these guys have been hiding it down in the upper cumberland for a very long time and I dont care whats said negative cause I almost have to believe those ppl were wanting to be negative but for other reasons non music related cause when its just about the music theyre just about the best oh and yeah feel free to use that line guys

They did a great job repairing my guitar, but it too 6 months and when they called to tell me it was ready to pick up, the guy tried to make an excuse that they had been trying to call me even thought I had been calling once a month to check on it and it wasnt ready and I had no missed calls from them.

Austin is the best game n the business. He is very professional and knowledgeable. I have many guitars and he has serviced, repaired and maintained everyone of them. One of the most talented luthiers in the business. He can repair, modify and build anything you need.Here are some pics of a new Gibson Explorer I bought new. I didn’t like the finish and wanted to move the switch and add a volume pot. I am thrilled with the the guitar and his work. It way better than factory. Simple, no one will ever do work for be besides Austin. He has a guy in there named George that does great work too. Prices are great and they are very nice guys. Mountain Music is number one.

Took my guitar in for repairs/restringing and couldn’t be happier with the results. It was like leaving with a brand new guitar. Austin and George are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Won’t be bringing my guitar anywhere but Mountain Music from now on.

Dropped into the shop a couple of days ago for some strings. Austin is FABULOUS. Gave me a wealth of information about my guitar, nourished it, polished it and made it look absolutely beautiful, better than it has in YEARS. C & Gs is a unique instrument shop that caters to musicians and fans of the bluegrass and country genres. I dropped in the store to pick up rosin for my bow. I dont know many music stores; but, its the only music store I know of that sells violins and guitars.

Husband had a Bangor restrung & tuned while we waited(less than 15 minutes) under $15 this included the strings. Cant ask for more than that!

Nice people but never take your guitar there to get worked on. I took my guitar there to get them to clean the knobs and to put a set of new strings on my washburn. When I got it back the static was gone in the knobs but who ever worked on it had no Idea how to set up a floyd Rose style set up. they had the tuning knobs backed all the way out where you couldnt tune down even a half step. I went to correct the problem and they had stripped out the locking nuts. They charged me $50 for this crap! Now Im in search for new locking nuts and A new music store.

Have payment plans on instruments but interest is poor. Wide variety of instruments and materials. Knowledgeable.

The cashier tried to sell me on some bass strings that were far over priced comparatively, than suggested that their strings are always priced close. Youll save far less from shopping at Musiciansfriend, plus the shipping is free. I wouldnt of posted this had he not suggested he was correct.

The last time that I went to mountain music was about a month ago and I got a really awesome guitar for $130 and it was a les Paul and let me tell you that guitar is amazing. Im going ask you something real quick mountain music can you guys get some PRSS for me please and thank you for being one of the best music shops in cookeville
