One of the best little stores in cookeville! Respectful owner, great products. I have always had an amazing experience every single time I come there! I will continue my business here for many more years!

LOVE Southern Traditions - It’s one of my “go-to” stores in Cookeville when I need to purchase a gift! (I will say, they have always wrapped items that they can. If it won’t fit in a bag, she’ll put a nice ribbon on it to make it special.)

Before we paid for our merchandise, the owner stated that she would nicely gift wrap the merchandise (immediately after purchase). After the items were purchased, she then stated that she did not have the materials to gift wrap them and that we could do it ourselves by purchasing the materials at Hobby Lobby.Two days later my wife returned to the store, nicely and politely stated our concerns, and requested a refund for the merchandise. The owner became crass, condescending and consistently interrupted my wife. More or less, she threw a temper tantrum.She blurted out that there are “no refunds” and pointed to a sign indicting the same (which was previously covered up by other merchandise, so it was not visible). She lied, changed her story, and claimed that she stated, before our purchase, that we could purchase the wrapping materials on her behalf and she would wrap it for us. Unquestionably, this was false, as we would not have purchased the merchandise without the free gift wrapping service.Unfortunately, the owner of this store is not customer-oriented and is only interested in a the profit in a quick sale. If you purchase something from this store and you are not a local, please know that you should obtain the store owner’s guarantees in writing, on store letterhead, duly-signed, and notarized. Otherwise, any guarantees are subject to the volatile discretion of the owner of this establishment.

Lovely store with so many cute gift options and the owner did and has always wrapped my gifts .

Would never go there again. I bought a vera Bradley wallet there and 2 weeks later it broke so I took it back to have her return it and it took 3 1/2 months to receive it . And might I add I had to call the company to even receive it she never sent my broken merchandise back. In my experience there she was a fraud she never planned to help me but didnt have a problem taking my money.
