Just make sure you know what you are getting yourself and everything else will be good!
I dont understand how half the people that shop here have a drivers lisense. Twice now someone has drove into the front of my parked car. Inbreds have to have anywhere from 2 to 4 parking spots to compesate for something. I perfer anywhere else to aviod going here. Its always hard to get any assistance here. Some of the younger people will help you though. all the small hardware is all mixed up and unorginized. This Lowes is overpriced on a lot of stuff. They stay open late is really the only reason have to go here often.
It had everything I needed the staff was very helpful and very knowledgeable
Like a lot of places, they seem to be short-staffed. At times the only registers open are the self-checkouts, which cannot process discounts or cash. But they do usually have what Im looking for and their hours are convenient.
Good luck getting help or getting help loading what you purchased by far the worst Lowes Ive ever been in
Although the Teriyaki Bento box and Tempura were nicely done, the whole place looks and feels dirty. We were sat at a table that had its surface rubbed away; the walls had seen better days, and the decor felt aged and carelessly arranged. The restroom looked aged and dirty - certainly raised questions to me about how clean the kitchen may actually have been - not hospitable.
The guy in wire section try to help but you people are out of some stuff but gave 4 because the guy was supper sweet
One of the better Lowes in the upper Cumberland. Always a good selection in the electrical department. Twice I have had a cashier over charge me at this location. Everyone is always in such a hurry here.
Customer service is mixed. I visit this store regularly. One time I have good customer service, next time, not so much. I have done web order to pickup and customer service terrible. Then went to service desk for next order and it was good.Lots of products out of stock. All I can say, if it is in stock, get it while you can.
The walk from the parking lot wasnt particularly amazing. inside the garden area was also sort of crowded. but inside the main part everything is fine. except for sometimes costumer service
I was there at 5:30. Nobody in the garden dept. All the plants you lose to lack of water is disgraceful. I went on into the store and got a toilet paper holder and went back to lawn and garden. Nobody there. I am almost 70. So bags of pea gravel and sand did not get bought. If you arent going to soak those plants down daily then give them out at the door for free so they have a chance.
Terrible service, sells broken dishwasher as scratch /dent all functioning item. Leaks all over floods my floor after installation. Return with no issues. Wait 30 mins for an associate to help me, get no service told no one working that department when asked, go back to customer service a manager is called and she says she is unsure she has one in stock let her check the back. Call electronic express to see if the have one in stock and its $50 cheaper than Lowes. The associate says if you can prove they have in stock we will price match. Call electronic express on speaker and he says yes thats good we will price match. I say ok. Then when they come back with my dishwasher they refuse to price match. I literally left and bought my dishwasher at electronics Express.
Its one of the few options for home improvement in Cookeville and their prices have always reflected that.
Appliane sales person, Samantha, not knowledgeable at all. Manager Jearl also not too knowledgeable.Need to train or hire sales people with more experience with appliances.Store is very pooly ran. Left and headed to Electronic Express!
Employees tend to be very helpful at this location, though it can be difficult to find someone to assist you.
Slow cashiers, lack of cashiers, product not organized on shelves and racks(good luck finding the right bolt, nut, pvc couplers, ect.). Lumber gouged by fork lifts, and employees dont seem to care.
I was looking for a specific garbage can, but they were out. So I asked an employee named Slayton, who happened by, when would they restock? He not only answered that Q but then walked me to find my next item, even though I told him to just tell me where to find it. Employees like this is why I love Lowes!
The employees were polite and helpful. They had the products I was looking for in stock. Checkout went smoothly.
Tremendous values and have most of you house needs in stock. Found a couple of clearance items that worked for my remodeling (Bathroom). Thanks Lowe’s
Im not much for tools, however Lowes has changed my mind about this. Anything you could want for a house is here and if you cant find it they will help you even if that means contacting another store or a local company.
Very nice people, had our stuff loaded fast and easy decent prices
Cookeville Lowes is a great place for anyone.I went for plants, which are plentiful there.I love rescuing plants and LOWES CLEARANCE RACK is the first thing I check out.
They seemed to have some pretty good deals and staff offered to help without being ask. However, I wouldve give a 5 star if they had more variety in plants that I came for. However, I believe they had them but had just maybe been bought out.
Easy to find what I needed. Great place to shop
Shirt lines. Huge selection. Friendly and helpful staff.
Its a good place if you cant find what you need elsewhere, prices tend to be a bit higher. Well stocked and clean.
Great place. Good service friendly staff for most part
Gave them 5 stars last week and have to give them 1 this week. Standing here over an hour waiting for appliances, asked for manager that never came. I see about 8 employees standing around talking. I guess the good customer service was only from one lady last weekend. Ugh. Lowes, Im about to give up on you!!!!
Do not ever buy carpet from Lowes. I paid for the carpet I wanted and had to wait 2 weeks for them to install it then when they arrived they had the wrong carpet. I had to go to Lowes and pick out a different carpet that they had in stock which I didnt like either and they still can not install the carpet until tomorrow. Everything is out of my 3 bedrooms and my family has no beds to sleep in tonight and Lowes doesnt even care. I was on the phone for 3 + hours and didnt get a single thing accomplished. Worst service I have ever seen in my life!!!! Worst
One of my favorite places to be. All the toys makes me happy
Better selection than most Lowes, lots of good clearance items, staff could have been a little tentative
5:30 pm on a Thursday. Tons of people in line to check out. NOT A SINGLE STANDARD CASHIER STATION MANNED!! Only self checkouts! Well I cant lift a 5 gallon thing of paint to scan. So I had to walk all the way down to the contractors checkout to find a cashier... sad!
Thay had what I needed in the garden center . My son was able to return some items with no hassel. Love Lowes
Always been a great place to get my much needed supplies. If they dont have what your looking for in stock they are more than happy to place a order for it. Would be 5 star but some of the employees there arent exactly helpful.
I will never shop here again. 5 or 6 of us witnessed a man get in the face of an 85 year old woman and cuss her up one side and down the other. She was just taking her time crossing the parking lot. As he walks in me and other customers confront him. All he does is yell and cuss us out as well. Lowe’s didn’t do a single thing. They didn’t even say anything to him and just let him check out and everything. I hope his $15 purchase was worth it cause I had 1K+ and left it at the register. I spoke with management and they explained that there wasn’t anything at all they could do about it and actually kinda gave me attitude. I’ve spent so much money here while we were building our home. They will not receive another penny from me.
I will never go through Lowes for anything regarding supplies or work needed for my house again. I am still waiting on a simple job to be completed that first started almost 6 months ago because they cant get it together. I am not satisfied with my experience at all. A simple door order and installation for ONE doorway has been a migraine that was caused simply by an unprofessional work environment. I will also never recommend Lowes installations to anyone.
Right now lowes lumber price are a lot better now than the smaller places
Lowes employees ate courteous and helpful. They have about every thing you need.
God forbid Home Depot ever comes to Cookeville, it will put these guys to shame. They have what I need, but finding anyone who works there to assist you in finding where its at is a mathematical impossibility. You are on your own.
Always nice an has everything you ever need
Pretty good store. Help can be tough to find. Always happy to come here.
Staff is great. 3rd party delivery not so much.
Could spend a cool million in a day here easy! Staff could be a little more helpful, less patronizing to women. Other than that-love Lowes
The most incompetent store Ive been to, stood to get blinds cut waiting for someone for 45 mins, asked 3 different people to get the person over that dept. Nobody showed up. Finally called the store that I was in and asked them to send someone down and still nobody. My significant other ordered countertops through them only to have them lost multiple times and then the employee tried arguing with her after they tried to give her something that wasnt even a countertop..... If any city officials are looking at this, the residents would benefit greatly from a new, more competent hardware store
Laziest people in paint dept I haver seen. Waited 20 minutes to be waited on and she went to the next customer after me. When she finally got to me told me she couldnt because I was buying too many. She had to mix 15 other paints before me. Asked to get another assistant and she told that she was the only one. Worst customer service ever
Only had exterior of car washed, but excellent jobVery reasonably priced. Will definitely return
It is hard to find help sometimes and there all teenagers with no training or experience, takes to long to get loaded and the worst part is that they only have 2 Handicap carts for the whole place! Only 2 wheelchair carts! Thats just Wrong!! I think they could afford a couple more .
Every single time we order something for pickup there is a problem with it when we get there. The last time we went was a week ago and for whatever reason the pickers didn’t even pick everything and then they screwed us up and didn’t print a loading ticket BEFORE loading so whenever we went to give some boards back that weren’t the right boards (another screw up) it wasn’t letting us do anything as of return or exchange. the cashier decided to go against store rules and CANCELED THE ENTIRE ORDER. And had to re ring everything up instead of just printing a loading ticket. Luckily the manager was patient in waiting for our bank and very nice. THIS time we again had to wait for pickers and guess what the decided not to do their job so we were there for 3 hours picking it ourselves.
I came to this location to grab lightbulbs with my cousin. We were not sure of what size or watt light bulb to get but were directed towards Rick, a sales associate! He was SO nice! Awesome customer service and super helpful!!
“It’s over here on isle 399! Come on I’ll show you where they are.” We walk to isle “399”. “Oh, wait, we’re out of those, SORRY.” Big business, that’s the problem! Also, people working there that have absolutely NO idea! God I wish we had a Home Depot!
It seems to have a very calm atmosphere...i loved it...thanks all employees...keep it this way...
Finding an associate proved rather difficult. Checkout was alright. Prices were industry standard.
Absolutely horrendous customer service. The appliance that I ordered wasn’t delivered on time ( Our even the week that they claimed it would be), and when my wife and I called back we would either be left on hold for 10 minutes at a time (literally) or transferred multiple times until associates would (accidentally I hope) hang up on us. I’ve called for several days now and still no help. I don’t normally leave reviews but if you can but your hardware somewhere else, do it!
Nice lowes. Friendly staff. Didnt have what we wanted on this trip
Great place for home improvement needs . . . just wish theywere a lil bit cheaper
Visited about 5:15 pm. No one around to ask for help. Customer service had a few people in line.
Watch out Cookeville purchasers at Lowe’s. Having a monopoly this Lowes charges more for their items in Nashville. Water heater was $30 more than Nashville Lowe’s and they would not price match their own store prices. I live in Nashville but decided to pick up at this Lowe’s since it was closer to my parents home. Such a rip off!!!
Nice place to do business at also Nice friendly and helpful staff 👍
Me and family practically live here 😆
This is the best lowes we have been too. The service here is always great and always get the help we need and get what we need
Crowded and busy as always.. not my favorite place. Customer service is hit or miss.. its very hard to find help in the store much less a knowledgeable person in the basic areas of the store. I cant speaks for millwork or window area, but the rest seems impossible to find assistance. My opinion if you go there know exactly what you want and are purchasing at that time because you may or may not find a helpful hand.
Sometimes workers are scarce(I know now everyone is having trouble staffing)but when you find someone they are always knowledgeable AND Friendly!
Always great service. Lowes is still one of the top stores in all of America for a reason and they highly support their veterans. For a patriot like me that means a lot.
Got everything I needed to do my first bathtub install thanks to jearl, Luke, and all that helped me and my wife get it done.
I love Lowes they put me in a new cast iron sink and a new dishwasher and brought me my new refrigerator the install people are great Tim did my sink and dishwasher very very nice he knows what he is doing so ask for Tim hes the best installer. And guess what got these stones from Lowes for my backsplash and put them up. Changed the look of the kitchen like wow and it was so easy to DO. This was before and after pictures. The peel and stick tile I also go at Lowes. But it was Time to update my kitchen.
Like the Store, always have what I need
What can you say about a bag of manure. Check out lady was very nice.
This store asks that you mask up, which anyone in their right mind would. I went to pick up creosote logs. I took their last two. They usually have a better supply. I hope on my next visit they have more in stock!
Our only big box choice locally...everything is WAY overpriced, but its convenient.Wish there were more locally owned options with hours that work for someone with a job.
If you need assistance, look for Bradyn! That young man is on the ball!
Everything is great unless you have to talk to the staff . Even worse If you have to ask where something is all you will get is an isle number and good luck finding that pipe wrench bud
One star because I wasnt able to give none. One cashier on a Saturday afternoon, and what have to be the most filthy and foul smelling restrooms in the region. Corporate really needs to make some personnel changes at this location.
Keep your receipts. Sometimes one computer can find your account, but customer service cannot...and lets face the facts... if customer service cant find it on THEIR computer youre screwed. They will not go out of their way to find your account. The floor employees are awesome help when you can find one.
If you spend over $1,000 on Lumber and two young punks try to get you to load your own wood look at them and tell them to get their a$$ to work
They been getting a lot of our business offering10% veterans discount which really adds up for all your projects, been able to find everything we need
They have reduced the floor support staff to a minimum. If you have a question, you are pretty much on your own unless you go to the service desk.
It’s worth driving to lebanon to the Home Depot. Lowe’s in Cookeville is worthless.
Gentlemen at Paint counter was Very Helpful and Knowledgeable Helped me choose best paint for my project..Thank you Gentlemen
A simple carpet install has taken several cancelations to finally started today. My mother who is getting chemo today is not here is the one who chose Lowes to complete this installation. The two gentlemen who arrived have came in with no masks and I addressed this with a supervisor at Lowes of Cookeville. The only this said to me was there is no need for a courtesy call they knew what time the install was for and she would contact the sub contractors to advise them to wear a mask after the contamination is has already been done. So ultimately they do not care of the situation at all I believe this is wrong on many different levels, but I will let you all decide if this is the behavior and professionalism you want from a company.
JUST OK SEEM TO BE OUT OF STOCK FRQUENTLY
Love shopping here but wish they had more choices in their items like home depot.
Great place!! Great people.. see Paul in flooring, Cookeville, Tennessee. Nobody better to work with if he can
Love the place. Floor staff as always went out of their way
Its alright. They dont seem to keep items in stock lately. Other than that, its alright.
I would not even give them a one star rating if I didn’t have to in order to participate! I don’t think I have ever had a worse customer service experience in my life! I bought $1550 worth of doors on Sunday and went Monday to pick them up and I called 2 hours in advance to tell them I was coming and he said “I wished you had called earlier but we’ll do what we can.” Oh a day and a half wasn’t enough of a notice??? Seriously!?!? I gave them an extra hour and when I arrived at the millwork desk 2 men were there, one of which sold me the doors, and he was on a personal phone call and wouldn’t even acknowledge I was there and the other man asked what I needed and I told him I had purchased doors and I was there to pick them up and he said “They’re over there” and turns back around. He didn’t offer to get me any help with getting 10 doors loaded on 2 carts to the front of the store. I said I am gonna need help loading these (which I thought was more than obvious) and he said “tell them up front”. Again no help offered in getting them to the “front”. Did I mention I am older and handicapped? I managed to get one cart to the front and told the cashier I needed help loading them and she got an employee to come help. He went back and brought the other cart up front for me and then they loaded them in my truck but wouldn’t help me strap them down. I was told it was against their “policy”. Okay, let me get this straight, you can’t help an older female that is handicapped tie down $1,550 worth of doors I just bought from you so that they aren’t damaged in transit? Customer service does not exist at Lowe’s in Cookeville. This is also following a previous encounter where I bought a bathroom vanity online and received an email that it was ready to pick up. I went to get it and I waited over an hour for them to “find it”! Did I mention I received an email telling me it was ready to pick up??? I should’ve learned my lesson that time but I am normally a very patient person, but this experience has been absolutely ridiculous!
Great. Found all the garden supplies I needed. Check out was quick and friendly.
Our favorite place! Were building a cabin so we are here so often I think everyone knows us. Employees always ask about the progress of our home, remembering specific details. We regularly buy wood, glass, tools, etc. Theres always someone to help.
The lines were horrible at check out and returns, then the woman behind the courtesy desk was rude, I believe her name was Dez. Lane was a great help though! Very pleased with his customer service, but as of late their customer service is horrific - I cant ever get someone on the phone at this location unless I call a department directly. Customer service really could use more work.
Great lesson better buy what need and never have to return anything. 2 days after purchase to return a high theft item they won’t do an in store credit for the correct item. Glad I got a $100 lesson. Never shop at Lowe’s. Go to your local hardware store. Prices will always be cheaper compared to Lowe’s.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced, and from the store manager
Josh in the appliance section made our first positive experience at lowes. We needed a fridge and dishwasher TODAY and we went to a few stores before deciding that the deals we saw at lowes couldnt be beat. We headed for appliances. We had some ideas what would work IF they were in stock. Josh was so patient, helpful and efficient. He got us everything we needed and met us promptly after checkout to load items on out truck. The checkout attendant was also friendly. It was super busy there, yet we were treated with great customer service. Thank you Lowes, you must be upping your customer service game and spending more money for quality employees.
Just bought 2x4x8s to use to make 2 48 pcs, but the boards were exactly 96 so could not make two pcs...any other company wood is usually 1/4 to 1/2 longer... And they cost almost $10 a piece... Thanks for making a small project I helluva lot more difficult...smh
First time visit. The store seemed disorganized. The layout was not what I was accustomed to comparing to the Crossville TN store. This store did not have in stock what I needed. A plus to the store is that the staff and cashier that helped us were very nice.
Never easy to find help. But, they always have what Im looking for!! All in all always a pleasure.
Appliance department was very helpful especially Mason.
All employees were wearing their mask properly! Which was great to see!
