Great place maps was 100% accurate

Looking for 2 items, didnt have either one. 1 was seasonal 1 was housewares. Store neat, clean. No reason to not go back. Some of the furniture was interesting. No associate engagement....

Visiting from Tampa FL, i go to mine (close to the house) and they all seem clean and well managed ....this one was no exception.

This Big Lots is a special place! The young lady Manager of the furniture department, is very knowledgeable.I asked specific questions about weight, she left no stone unturned,POWER TO HER! I say this because I asked this very question in multiple local furniture store and the salesmen drew blanks, which pisses me off. Thanks to her I now understand what Im looking for and wont destroy another recliner.There is tons of parking, a ramp and the store is a good lay out...easy to navigate.

This place is a glorified Dollar store. Expensive (think $20 dollar pillow) and poor quality (the Ocean spray juice is expiring in a week). Most items are off brand. Also, no one was there.

Good morning,I was in your Copiague store this morning. I found what I needed. The store was clean and bright a pleasure to shop. Then my sister and I went on line to pay. This took at least 15 minutes. Only 2 cashiers, one spent more than 15 minutes taking care of a refund and purchases as she was dealing with this customer when we walked up. People were already complaining about the time frame. The other cashier took forever taking care of her customer. This was another one that was there before we walked up. She then took a phone call and went to look for an item on the selling floor. Why didnt she call for assistance instead of leaving at least 8 people on line? Especially since we had been waiting for so long. The next customer on line walked up the the register and your cashier started telling everyone that she did not call her over. Embarrassing the woman. People on line took the customers stance. Why are you leaving for a phone call when we all are standing here. So the cashier is getting very nasty with everyone. Finally she called for assistance to get the phone call taken care of. And another cashier. Every employee comes fully packaged with a brain. Use common sense, if they need help call for it. Everyone on line was going to walk out.Thanks for listening. I really hope this iimproves your service.

Has a little of alot of everything. Discounted prices I never walk out with nothing. Plus, this store is very clean

Crowded as always but the lines move quickly. Shelves are organized and they have alot to choose from.

I usually shop at this store because I work in the area. I happened to be in the area today 12/19/2020 and decided to shop here. I went to the mens bathroom while there and couldnt find any toilet tissues in the two (2) stalls, not even a single sheet. Also both toilets were filthy, one worse than the other. Luckily I found some napkins in my coat pocket which actually helped me through this situation & I was able to leave whatever I had left in my pocket to help out the next guy. It appears that the store has neglected to maintain the bathrooms because both stalls have double high capacity toilet roll dispensers and if properly maintained, will have one on reserve while one is being used. I will check back in a couple of days to see if they remedied the situation.

Big Lots, Big Lots. If you are starting out or just replenishing stuff or trying to shop on a budget this is the place you need to go. They have everything from groceries, household, outdoor everything you need. The prices are excellent and the quality is very good. You will never go into Big Lots and leave empty handed, I guarantee. Also they always have the best after season sale for the next time round. I love Big Lots.

I bought a table and when I got home to assemble a leg was missing from the box. I called the store and they replaced the leg without hesitation. This is a 5 star worthy experience in my opinion!

My 2nd time going and the store is clean, well stocked, and the pricing is really competitive.

The cashier that attended me and help me checkout with my items. Honestly one of sweetest and most gentle souls I meet. Gave that women a piece of candy that she deserves!

625 PM. 9/5/18So I go into here to buy futon mattresses and the furniture rep was cool and had other customers so I took it out myself even though he offered to help. Well on the way out i cut alittle to hard and the mattress fell off the hand truck less than a foot in front of this douche bag and all this guy did to help a customer is stand with his arms crossed and stare as I struggled. Yes he is a employee. He had a name badge !Is that how Big lots treats thier customers?

Cashiers move too slow felt like I was standing in dollar tree or family dollar I was ready to put my stuff down and walk out but I like the store!

I come here all the time but this was the first time I looked in the furniture department. I asked someone for help and he immediately cut me off and didn’t let me ask my question. He was upset I had a question and said not right now I’m too busy. Believe me with all the covid situation I understand Everything is hectic but that’s not a way to treat a customer. I was there to buy my mom her living room set she’s been asking for but I will go elsewhere.

Havent been there in a while. Its nicely organized and much cleaner than I remember it. Some great unique gifts for Christmas. Good sale prices on food items. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I literally forgot the new Big Lots bu South Shore, but anyway it worked out. Its amazing how spacious the store is and very clean, and very organized. I really like Big Lots. One can find exactly what they r looking for and have a pleasant experience. Need to go back and get some household and xmas stuff.

Their parking lot is full of potholes! Gives off a very bad first impression. By the time you get inside you are angry because you had to avoid them and puddles of water if it rained. Even the bus stop that sits on the side of the store is an eye sore. Sometimes you see homeless people just sitting there. If you made it thus far, you are welcomed with automatic doors (big plus!!) as you walk up to the store because who wants to touch door handles in this day and age? Inside you see furniture, a clean floor and everything is set up so nicely. Very inviting, I must say. Why cant the outside match the inside? This Big Lots has lots of inventory and this place is so clean and neat. Kudos for caring how the inside looks. I would give it 5 stars. I really like this place because they revamped the store. My only complaint are the restrooms. Please update them. Also, you need conveyor belts since you sell food. The Cashiers are always pleasant too.

Half the stuff has no price on it, the sodas are expired my kids threw them out and the bread is expired

A very well, nicely arranged store thats kept very clean. The store has a vast array of products to choose from. Just dont be disappointed if they dont have EVERYTHING youre looking for(cant stock everything). The staff is friendly & helpful. A pleasant experience.

Its Biglots, what else can i say

I went there today cause I got a text that said it was Cyber Monday & you get 25% off everything in store, but after everything was rung up I asked cashier about discount & was told that was Sunday, so Why was it Called Cyber Monday, I went there & shopped & was Very Disappointed. Other stores & sights all had shop Cyber Monday which was today not yesterday.

Great concept for a small scale discount store. Very wide variety of merchandise can be found from dry goods grocery to furniture. Even decent budget electronics can be found! The people that work there are professional and helpful for the most part. Good shopping experience for sure.

I needed to buy a box spring and there was a store associate right there to answer all of my questions. After I made the purchase another store associate brought my purchase outside and strapped it to the roof of the car. Today I was very impressed with the level of service I received at Big Lots!

One of the prejudices and raciest place to work ever. I went on the interview everything went well and I have experience, the store manager told me that to fill my background report and stuff then call her. When I called she said to me to get my two weeks notice from my other job✌🏽 Two weeks later I called her. She didn’t even say sorry, she only said I gave the job to somebody else smh.

This place has not only been remodeled, but has a whole furniture section with some great stuff! I only gave 4 stars because the prices were a little higher than I wanted to pay. Guess they had to pay for the remodeling! But my idea of pricing is probably more what would be charged in 1979. :-D

You can get some great values here. Just be sure to check expiration dates on everything you buy food wise. Every time I go theres something on the shelf that has either expired or is about to. Buyer beware

Love me some Big Lots especially this one. Its is clean and well put together. Cashiers are quick and on point. Long lines are quickly remedied by extra cashiers.
