I’ve literally wanted a guayabera since a couple of family vacations to Puerto Rico, 1980s. My wife and I are staying in Naples and we drove to Miami to get the shirt. 2 hours later we met Miquel at Guayabera Etc. He was such a gentleman and really helped me decide the right fit and shirt. It was a experience and I will remember this time. My wife was so happy they had shirts for women there. Miquel also gave us a great tip on a local restaurant. So I ended up going to this place by accident, but it was no accident. I drove from Fort Lauderdale to purchase one Guayabera for a formal Cuban event. I was suggested to purchase it from another store...I left Fort Lauderdale early Saturday morning and when I arrived at the other store, nobody answered. I called the number and was told that the person working was not going to be there for an hour. I didnt have an hour so I called the second place called Guayaberas Miami. Miguel answered and gave me directions, told me where to park and greeted me at the door. The place was really nice, safe, clean and easy to find what I was looking for. His hospitality was second to none, so much that I ended up buying not one but two guayaberas. From now on, if anyone asks me where to buy a beautiful, hand made Cuban guayabera...without a doubt in my mind, I will be sending them Miguel at Guayaberas - Miami.
