I have been Dr Obregon’s patient for over 10 years he is our family’s optometrist and we love it. The staff is great and as well.

I love this office! I’ve been seeing Dr. Obregon for several years for annual eye exams and glasses/contacts. He takes his time to perform a thorough exam and answer any questions, and it’s always a pleasant experience. His assistant Elba is also very personable and kind, both in person and when contacting via phone to set up appointments or pick up prescriptions. Street parking is convenient and they keep the office very clean, running smoothly and timely which is much appreciated!

Excellent and friendly staff. Appointment times are honored. Dr. Obregon takes the time to explain your eye health. Pleasantly surprised and recommend highly.

Great location. Really neat and organized. Everyone was extremely helpful during our visit. My bf and I went I for a new pair of glasses for himself and for an adjustment on mine.

They used to be really good. But something has changed recently. They do not even meet the minimum exception.Took me over a week and multiple phone calls and text messages to get my prescription.The same is happening again and I cannot get a hold of them for my contact lenses.Update: I won’t go there anymore. After 2.5 weeks of calling and no response, I just showed up at their office and they would not open the door. 5 min of knocking and someone showed up and I asked her if they were out of business? She said no and she gave me my contacts that I had ordered weeks before!

I have looking for a great optician after mine closed.I am happy to say this is a wonderful shop with all the right brands.

Dr Obregon and Staff are the best. The Doctor is very thorough in his exams and very understanding of any problems you experience. I personally have had several eye surgeries and my prescription was constantly changing, but Dr Obregon always took the timeto examine and discuss my options as well as offer updates on my lenses without additional charge. His staff are always very accommodating and patient helping out in whatever requests you may have- vision related of course!! I have used their services for a number of years now and I will always continue to do so while I reside in South Florida. Thank you very much Envision Optique. You guys are the best.

Visited 12/18/19. Was seen 1 hour after my appointment. Ignored all the signs because I felt the doctor did a good job. Took my prescription and sent to the lab I always use. Glasses come back and one eye is correct the other one is way off. Clerk Elba admits she made a mistake. Instead of writing +2.25 she wrote -2.25. The lab is asking for $200 to make the glass with the correct prescription for the 2 pairs of glasses. However this Dr and his staff are trying to obligate me to send it to their lab instead. I refused this option since I already paid the other lab and they did a fine job. I should have read the negative reviews. Please listen to me and take your business elsewhere unless you want the biggest headache of your life for new eye prescription.

We have given them 2 chances in a year. 1st time they made us get an extra series of exams that we did not request. Of course it was not covered by the fee we were originally quoted. The 2nd time about 45 days ago, they dragged there feet once we said we bought our frames somewhere else to get our prescription. Then they took for ever to get the prescription after we asked to get them done at Costco. The staff is extremely RUDE.. They dissed us for a week. . Then when we went with prescription to Costco, they said the prescription was extremely vague. Real unprofessional optometrist

I’ve been coming to see Dr. Obregon for about 15 some odd years now and haven’t had any issues. His work is exceptional. Oscar has been there forever and has always been a great deal of help along with the others whether new or old to the team. Thanks guys!

Its my first appointment with a doctor in the US and since I need a very good assistance because I use glasses 24h/7, I was hoping to find a good doctor right at the Beggining of my life here. Luckily, Dr. Obregon and his staff were very welcoming, attentive and, on the top of that, very responsive about all the protocolos regarding Covid19. I felt myself in a very safe envinronment and had a great experience with the exams. Besides that, I wen out from there very happy with the help I had to buy a very beautiful pair of glasses. Been going there for years but last week was unfortunately my final. This review is not talk Ill of the doctor because i really liked him, but the way scheduling was handled. I set up an appointment weeks ago and kept getting text confirmations. My dad also got them and he can testify. When I walk in for my appointment 1 hour before they tell me that I have to reschedule because they gave away my appointment. I showed him the text I received at 9:31 AM THAT DAY when my appointment was at 11:30 am. Oscar kept telling me they had called me several times days prior to let me no. Ummm no. If thats so why did I receive a text that day to confirm? I have never received a call. I understand situations happen but I have to request days off from work to come here. Time, money from missing work, and gas was wasted. A sorry goes a long way.

Avoid this place. They have been giving the wrong information for me for the past 2 weeks. Tried to contact their answering service and nobody give the right information. I ordered a prescription glass and need to pick it up. Its absurd this kind of service.

The doctor and his staff are very polite. I had exams for contact lenses and filled the prescription, and also bought a pair of glasses. I am very satisfied with the care I received here.

I bought two pair of glasses in late July. I was told the glasses would be ready in ten days, in time for a planned vacation. When I came to pick them up they were not ready as promised. After returning from vacation, I went in to pick up the glasses and only one pair was ready and the prescription was clearly wrong. Also the lenses were improperly fitted to the frame. I was told the glasses would be fixed and ready in again “ten days”, which was an important deadline as I was moving. That deadline was ultimately missed. Meaning the glasses would be mailed to me. It took a couple more weeks for the glasses to arrive and prescription is still incorrect in both pair. I was instructed to request a copy of my prescription so that a local provider could check the glasses and promised they would fix the problem. I sent the request and it took weeks for a response, but only after multiple calls and emails. After having the glasses checked it turns out the prescription is still incorrect and after multiple phone calls and emails Envision Optique has yet to even respond. The situation is very frustrating and both pair of glasses are worthless to me. VERY poor service and follow through on their commitments.

I have been going to Envision Optique for over 5 years but today is the last day. I made my appointment weeks ago and confirmed with the person on the phone that my benefits were okay and good to go. I received ONE phone call and countless texts to confirm my appointment. Nothing about trouble confirming my benefits. I arrive at my appointment and as Im waiting a staff member comes out and tells me that they cant confirm my benefits. I called my insurance myself and the insurance company confirms that I have no problems with my benefits. The staff member then says, oh its that they dont accept that plan under the insurance - and then tries to tell me that they called me multiple times to tell me that they couldnt confirm my benefits!!! A complete LIE....the whole thing was a complete waste of my time. Whats worse is that as this is happening to me there was another patient in the waiting area with the same problem!! Cmon guys, get it together!!!This could have been resolved in the initial scheduling of the appointment. I agree with a previous post that the doctor is super arrogant but I never had such a horrible experience. I am loyal but my time is valuable. Never going back!

Horrible experience. The staff was rude and the doctor had this attitude as though I was wasting his time. They also wouldn’t release my eye prescription without giving them a copy of my drivers license which I’ve never heard of before. Honestly, don’t waste your time here.

The place is marvelous, excellent customer service. Elba is an adorable lady with incredible patience. Oscar with his jokes and his contagious laughter, helps you to select the best glasses’s frames according to your face’s shape. Dr. Obregon is a great professional, who spends time listening to your concerns. I did not the opportunity to interact with the other lady who takes care of th clients when they go to pick up the glasses or lentes, but I saw her smiling always and giving a professional customer service. Wonderful place and great staff. I love it.

Set my appt to 6. Walked in 5 minutes late and I couldnt find my insurance so before 6:15 as Im finally finding it I kept getting pressure from the staff to hurry up and to reschedule. Just walked out instead, I will pass on having my eye exam rushed so everyone can go home early. NO THANKS!! Dont allow scheduling at 6 if youre going to rush patients.

I had an appointment at 5:30pm and it is 6:35pm and still haven’t seen the doctor. That’s outrageous and no one came out to apologize or give a heads up about the wait. Very unprofessional

I wrote the following review on Yelp but the same could be said of Envisions staff. They are all very nice and helpful, but its Dr. Obregon who really makes this place worth going to. Read on...I had been going to Dr. Obregon for four years until I was stationed for work in another part of town and, needing to go get my eyes checked, I went to another optometrist last year who had his office in one of those chain stores. That was a mistake. That other guy fit me into contact lenses that so strained my eyes I had to resort to reading glasses just to get through a typical day.I went back to Dr. Obregon last week and he took the time to fit me with a new prescription and explained to me what went wrong at the the other eye doctor. Obregon is hands down the best I doctor Ive gone to in Miami. I wont make the mistake of going to anyone but him from now on.And if youre concerned about cost because his office is in fancy Coral Gables, dont be. His prices are reasonable and he takes insurance. Trust me, youll like the results after you go see him.

If you want good service DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE. My husband had the bad luck to choose this place, but of course he will not return. Although the opticians service was adequate, they tell him that the glasses will be delivered in 7 to 10 days. 15 days passed and NO ONE had called him. Several days later they called him to tell him that he would pick up. When he goes to pick them up they told him he was not ready. Almost 20 days later. At that time NO ONE offered an explanation or an apology. Then they called him to tell him that the glasses had been broken. And to come back the following week. When we arrived the next week to pick them up at 10 am the door was closed and when after getting tired of touching a lady she opened and told us that they have training that day and open at 1 pm. When we say that we are going to pick up some glasses, he tells us PASS! With a hostile and rude attitude. At the end his glasses were ready, finally ... Terrible place and horrible service. A shame. Do not waste your time.
