I loved this place! I happened to be in the neighborhood and was wanting italian and spotted it from the road. Everything is made fresh, the restaurant is clean and the staff very friendly and attentive. So glad I stopped and I will definitely be coming back!

First time ordering I ordered a large pizza with ham, chicken, onions and pineapple. There was way too much cheese the toppings poorly arranged chicken so dry had to remove the onions not cooked well ham and pineapple okay! The crust was so soggy it couldn’t hold the toppings and the end of the crust was burnt! I also noticed they put the cheese on top of the toppings which I can’t understand as instead of the toppings getting oven broiled they steam under the cheese! I don’t think that’s different in a better way sand takes the beauty of the toppings away! The Garlic rolls taste good but way too oily! The oil was dripping when I took a bite. I don’t think these are world famous more like the Valdez leaking into my mouth! I don’t think I will be purchasing from this place again and I don’t recommend ordering from there! The food was delivered by Uber Eats they did a good job of delivery I also noticed when the owner responds instead of asking the customers to come back and they’ll make it better and even comp the order they just say they’ll use the comments to help them! As a former business owner I always went out of my way to take care of upset customers no matter what it took! When I sold the business it went downhill because the new owners didn’t care about customer service just some advice to the owner

Garlic rolls were awesome, our pizza hot and delicious. The four of us used to walk from our high school 40 yrs ago to get Garlic rolls for lunch the restaurant was off west dixie highway in North Miami.

Heard about this place for awhile and I finally tried it. Pizza is a notch above little Caesars pizza. The world famous garlic rolls werent cooked all the way through . Very doughy. The chicken parm dinner was horrible. Tasted like low grade chicken. Ill never go back

So im from Jersey and this pizza is scrumptious. They have a great lunch menu which includes a drink and 2 garlic rolls. Everything is made fresh. Their eggplant parm is so good too. I highly recommend trying them out.

What a beautiful place to enjoy fresh, hot food. The staff is so friendly. The owners are really nice and courteous people. They are very active in the community and are always ensuring to create a positive dining experience. This is one of the most beautifully decorated pizza places I have seen... Great location and they have a very assorted and extensive menu. Easily a date night or a family spot... you wont be disappointed.

We ordered the “special pizza “. The only thing sped out it is it has no toppings. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Won’t be wasting money here again.

I fell in love with this restaurant on my first two visits in the past month but was very disappointed on my last visit. The rolls which literally are the bests rolls on the planet were saturated with oil - could not eat them - completely saturated. My husband and I ordered pizza and at first bite all we could taste is OREGANO. I think the pizza maker or cook when preparing the pizza sauce might have let his hands slip because it was extremely overpowering. I specifically asked the server t to advise the pizza maker not to sprinkle any oregano on the pizza as many pizza makers do that -- but she failed to tell me that the sauce was loaded with oregano - needless to say my husband I suffered very bad stomach aches that night - its a shame because the sauce would be delicious if you could taste the darn sauce and not a pound of spices - not sure if I will be back or at least I would never ever order the pizza again.

The dining area is big, well lit and tables are adequately distanced. I like that you can see the kitchen . Our server was very nice and attentive. We got menus and drinks promptly. We got garlic rolls, which were great. I got a pasta figiole soup. Not the best Ive ever had, it was quite bland, I had to add salt, pepper and parm. We also shared a meat lovers pizza.

Yeah!!! John the Baker in my own neighborhood!! We used to drive down to Pembroke Pines just to get rolls and pizza. We stopped by this evening and were absolutely thrilled. The rolls were just as fantastic as we remembered and the Sausage and Peppers Special was huge and DELICIOUS.

The best pizza in town! Garlic rolls are so delicious, they melt in your mouth, just a perfect amount of garlic. Pizza is perfectly baked just like in Italy. 5 stars for this establishment! Check out they lunch menu too! Great prices!

I ordered on Uber Eats last night, I ordered a small cheese pizza, Alfredo chicken pasta and garlic rolls. I wanted to give it a try based on reviews however my first time and I am not impressed. The pizza had zero taste, the pasta was penne pasta I expected fettuccine noodles and also had zero taste and barely any chicken added. The garlic rolls were decent, I most likely will not be ordering again.

We ordered carry-out from this place.While not spectacular, the food was decent albeit greasy, and there was a LOT of it.

The Margherita Pizza was not a margherita pizza. It was cheese pizza with pieces of diced tomato. The specialty pizza was mostly chunks of uncut peppers and uncut onions with very little pepperoni and sausage. So most of the pizza was soggy and wet which made the crust extremely soggy. The meatball had very little flavor and was underwhelming. And the tiramisu was mostly cream and whipped cream so mostly just sauce with very little or no cake or lady fingers. It was clearly made for individual purposes. It seems and taste like they save alot of money.

The pizza tasted aight, but the assembly was wonky. We ordered a whole pizza with different toppings on different halves and the distribution was uneven.

Garlic rolls are fantastic. I had a Margarita Pie, it was delicious, great sauce.

Pizza special is a great value, service is friendly and with a big smile. Draft beer pitcher is 9.00 for a large. No complaints. I liked the thin crust pizza and this one was perfect.

Second time ordering from here. Got a chicken parmesan and a pizza. The pizza was ok but the chicken parm is all breading, barely any chicken. the bread parm was a huge dissapointment and a waste of money! 10 dollars for breadcrumbs fried, sauce and some cheese.

We met with friends at this restaurant for a meeting. we heard about this restaurant from a lot of people. Well, we were not disappointed. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we felt very good. The food was just great. We had a great time and we will definitely return to this restaurant. we highly recommend this place.

Best Italian food where you can get your grub on

You immediately taste the quality biting into the garlic rolls. The pizzas are huge and the sauce is authentic while retaining traditional flavor. The restaurant is super clean with a chic modern design.

John the Baker locations used to be great food and close to NY/NJ quality pizza. What we got the other night was not much better than cafeteria quality. Pies were much smaller than advertised, dough wasn’t cooked through, sauce was flavorless and the cheese was the cheap, rubbery stuff. Very disappointed.

Friendly staff, place was clean. We were welcomed right away and seated. Place was kinda empty but we saw several take out orders. We ordered the killer garlic knots (must try) & a 12 pizza. That was more than enough for 2 people, next time we will order a smaller pie. Definitely a place to visit for a casual meal with family & friends.

Was one of the first customers on opening day, was so happy! Get a pizza every week. Called 7/11 to order my usual pepperoni pizza, asked to please make sure its made fresh. She assured me never frozen, great. Picked it up it was barely warm, was cooked much earlier & heated up. So disappointed. Called back 7/12, asked for owner, she said she can help me. Said I wanted to tell the owner why he was losing a good customer, she said sometimes they cook earlier & heat them, offered free pizza.. Told her wasnt looking for free pizza. I was #16, restaurant had one person eating, no pizzas waiting for pickup. Not even busy. All I wanted was a fresh hot pizza

My go to for pizza, not much better around here. But their other stuff is great too, salads, sandwiches, and the SLIDERS ON GARLIC BREAD are all great.

Went in with a big party of 30 +. Got us seated, and served in a timely manner. Food, and service was very good. Will definitely be going back.

Ordered a large cheese pizza and garlic rolls. The rolls were a bit soggy, but the real issue was the pizza. The texture and color of the dough were off. It seems that the dough was improperly proofed so it developed a skin. Whoever shaped the dough to make the pizza flipped it over to keep the tough skin or dough on the bottom and stretched it. The result was a too chewy thin pizza with remnants of the dry dough “skin” all over on the bottom. It didn’t correctly brown due to the poor dough prep and proof, so the bottom was a nice brown color and the top of the dough that they customer sees was very pale and barely browned. Not the same as John the Baker in Pembroke Pines. Disappointed.

Have now had John the Bakers pizza several times. The pizza is really good - especially the pepperoni! They have great garlic rolls as well! Service was fantastic and restaurant is very nice and clean. We will be eating there frequently!

Just stopped in there and ordered a personal pie ricotta and cheese with ham. Host in front was very nice and helpful place was totally renovated. And the pizza was great! Ill be stopping in for lunch again 👍

Service was great, food was pretty terrible. Rolls tasted like a Ziploc bag or plastic Tupperware of sorts and the crust from the pizza was the same weird taste. We were big fans of the original but moved north and when we saw this location opened we were excited. Huge let down. We wont be back.

Good was great, just like the original location in Pembroke Pines!!!! I had heard they had a shakky start but that wasnt the case when I was there. Famous garlic rolls were Amazing!!! Btw, one of the Best value for Italian food. VERY ECONOMICAL!!!!! A large pie with 1 topping, a large salad and 1/2 dozen garlic rolls was just over $20!

For excellent pizza, this is the place to go, take out or dine in. The highlight however are tge chicken slider sandwichs on the awsome garlic rolls. The house salad with red wine vinegrette was huge and so good. This is the place to go any night for excellent take out. Dont pass them by

The only reason I am giving them 1 star is because the manager graciously comped my bill. I ordered a pizza and meatball sliders. The sliders were worse than anything I would feed an animal. The pizza was puny. They were each 9 bucks. I reminded them of the 2 dozen pizza places in a 2 mile radius, selling not one, but TWO SLICES of pizza, that are EACH bigger than Johns whole lunch special pizza, AND A SODA, FOR 6 BUCKS. By the way, the whole time I was in there, the phone rang once, and there was one other table. Theyd better change, and quickly, or bye bye

Looks small from outside, but plenty of seating inside with wall tvs. Open kitchen i also liked. Had a meatball medium pizza, enough for 3 people. Was absolutely delicious. Yum!!!🍕 Crust perfectly crispy, cheese perfectly gooey. Not a big thick outside crust which was perfect. I hate those impossibly chewy crusts which are so hard on my teeth. Cheese was melted over meatball chunks instead of under which was to die for! Lol. 🍕😂. Also had the garlic knots. Humongous, garlicky and yummy! Prices reasonable. Service good. Just as good as pembroke pines. Would HIGHLY recommend!

So glad John The Baker has arrived in Coral Springs, Florida. I recently (07/19/2019) ordered the Eggplant Parmesan here and found it to be on the thin side.

The personal pizzas were delicious, after having my trip to Miami cancelled due to weather solo really came through with the comfort food. Thanks solo!

Small pizza joint placed on Sample Road in Coral Springs. The rolls, pizza and salad were all good. My only criticism for this place is that on the weekends it will usually get crowded and since there is no sound proofing it gets loud in there, but over all good place.

Used doordash and food was here in 20 minutes. Pizza was good. Everything was cooked well.

The place is nice decor also nice the food needs a lot of work, the garlic bread was showered in garlic couldnt eat it. The food portions where a little bigger then MacDonald and a lot more expensive. I wish them all the luck but I will not be going back there again.

First couple of times I went to John The Baker the food was very good those were times that I went in the the evening two times. I went there during the day two times and was kind of disappointed because it just was not as good.
