I never have had an issue here like some of the comments here are, seems like there is some unnecessary beef with some of the employees and grown adults treating underpaid workers like trash. The employees are helpful and kind when I need it and keep the place tidy.

I was a little hesitant to come here since reading all the reviews but its close and I wanted to bleach and dye my hair. The people working were so nice and helpful and really down to earth. I was able to ask for help and get not only what I needed, but products that complimented perfectly

Since my previous review was miraculously removed-I love knowing when my ego gets inflated that I can get a reality check right here by driving over to Sallys in Coralville. All I have to do is ask the staff a question and immediately get treated like I know nothing and am a child. I also wont get my receipt for the items that I purchased that are considered a tax deductible for my job because the employees dont want to take the time to give me one, even if they couldve just quickly hand written one out for me(ex. Eyelashes- 30.99, Glue - $7.99). I posted a photo of (some) the things I bought the day I came in, I paid in cash, towards the end of March. If I hadnt already used the rest of the other items I purchased from you that day I would have included them in the picture. Im pretty sure it was only a box of Q-Tips though. Some of your employees are nice, but others just want to pretend they are at the top of the totem pole and treat customers terribly. Not cool. I would still like my receipt though. If you find it in your system you can email it to me. Would be greatly appreciated :)

I had some jankie looking hair and the guy that was working there really helped me out and now my hair looks great! Thank you!

I was at the store on the day that the woman named Amie was in and I was very concerned for the staff that she was going to go psycho. The staff handled it amazingly and did what they should have when this person was not a customer and started a fight with one of the customers in the store, honestly her comment should not be on here because she is not a customer and the nail salon shouldn’t send over their customers to start fightsThis store is amazing, end of story

After the nail salon next door butchered me I was able to come into a warm welcoming climate and I told them what happened and they found me everything that I needed! Best staff experience I’ve had in a long time

Disgusting to see one of the employee (Cambrian Helm) make fake account under name “Carolien-anna Anderson and Cristale Daye to talk bad about other businesses around Sally Beauty supply and post a positive comment for them when she work there. This store just lost my business.

The employees here are rude. Took my wife here last year and we got treated like garbage. I dont make reviews often but after seeing the most recent one made on here by a good friend of ours and digging into it we decided we will not be back. The employees here are using fake accounts like Carolien-anna Anderson and Cristale Daye to slander other businesses that are around them which is just gross. Why?

The girl that works here is rude. Didnt like her attitude. You dont make enough to act like that.

Terrible customer service and rude employees. Don’t dare work a long day and mistakenly park in their assigned parking spots at the Coralville location. They’ll call and berate the nail salon next door and when you confront them for handling the situation poorly and defend the nail tech...they’ll tell you to get the hell out of the store, ban you from going there, get another customer involved and call the cops on you. Shop somewhere else. Driving to any other location would be totally worth your time. Even the cop agreed!

Threatened to call the cops because of where I was parked. You dont own the parking lot Karen. And no, I dont need to wear a mask if Ive been vaccinated and there is no mandate.

Mask shamed people after the governor lifted the restrictions. Was very rude and kept asking to step back, when we were in our car getting ready to leave she came and wiped of the handles and gave us a dirty look.

Staff is always great and they have good deals

They have good customer service and are knowledgeable about their products. Pay attention to the white prices on the tags, not the green. You have to be a member to get the green prices.

Clean store, would of liked a little better selection, the gal that checked us out didnt seem like she knew what she was doing. Neither seemed very friendly

Was never told I had to return something within 72 hours if it didnt match my daughters hair who was not with me at the time. Specifically told the lady I wouldnt be able to come back right way. Was NEVER told I had to return if needed by 72 hours. I am very upset now after 72 hours of course when I tried to return. Not gonna shop there again!

Will never be returning to this location!!! the girls are very rude don’t even greet customers when they walk into their store I needed help with hair extensions and no one ever came out of the back room. So I went and purchased them at their other location in Iowa city

Stopped by at 10 am, not open. Were supposed to open at 9:30. Not trying this location again.
