They actually looked into the info I gave them before the appointment and were fully prepared to help my find my dress. They had a bunch of dresses already in mind for me, one of which I ended up buying because it was perfect and within my budget - a real unicorn! They even took time to get my bridesmaids all set up in a very efficient, customer-friendly and informed manner. I very much appreciate their knowledge, professionalism, and great attitudes in helping me confidently make big, expensive decisions.

My experience at Jocelyn Taylor was all around MARVELOUS! The online booking process was easy to navigate. I was able to select a date and time that worked best for me without calling/emailing back and forth AND I was able to share my dress style online beforehand as well. When it came time for my appointment, I was greeted at the door by Deb with a bouquet of flowers! When taken back to pick out dresses, Deb was very responsive to what I said I liked and didn’t like. I found out about Jocelyn Taylor Bridal and Prom from a different bridal shop in town that could tell, my appointment was just not going well. They recommended me to them! Ha! and I am SO GLAD they did. Jocelyn Taylor boutique is the best for wedding dress shopping. Jocelyn and her mother Deb, were excellent at their jobs. They listened, knew exactly what I was looking for, and were able to find different gowns after every idea I had. When I started wedding dress shopping this was the first place I went and it definitely set the tone for all other boutiques. I ended up going to 3 different boutiques and had the best experience at Jocelyn Taylor Bridal. Jocelyn and Deb were over the top welcoming and nice. I had scheduled a visit to Jocelyn Taylor on a whim after not having luck at a previous appointment. I am so glad they had an opening! I walked in and was greeted very friendly by Deb who made sure to ask what styles I was thinking off and then her and Jocelyn helped me narrow down my choices. I had originally been thinking of a lace detailed and embellished dress but they showed me a sleek and simple option and I absolutely had to try it on. I felt comfortable and knew Deb and Jocelyn had my best interests in mind. After choosing a veil and accessories I knew I had found the one! I am so grateful that Jocelyn Taylor had such an amazing and friendly atmosphere. They are so genuine and I would recommend them to any bride wanting that same experience!

My daughter and I had been to several dress shops looking fir the perfect prom dress for her senior year. I’m so glad we found Jocelyn and Taylor! The shop is very comfortable with nice large fitting rooms and plenty of space in front of the mirrors. My daughter even commented how she loves the Jocelyn would completely zip, tie, lace, button every dress she tries on to ensure the perfect fit...and I think she tried every dress in the store! They had a very nice selection even though they said they had sold a ton the weekend before.We happened to be there on a weekdays afternoon and there were only a few other girls there. But Jocelyn and her mother both spent an hour or more with us. We talked and really enjoyed the experience and never felt rushed or like we were being a pain. Like I said, my daughter tried on almost every dress there in her size. Today I received a very nice hand written thank you card. I recommend this store to anyone looking for a promo dress and I’m sure they do a lovely job with bridal, too. We will certainly come back here for that one day!

My daughter and I drove 2.5 hours to visit Jocelyn Taylor Bridal and Prom in search of a prom dress. We traveled from the Quad Cities to visit Jocelyns shop after reading great reviews that all proved more than true! The entire appointment felt incredibly personalized and relaxing. Jocelyn has a great selection of wedding dress styles and sizes to try on. (PROM TOO!) Deb and Jocelyn both helped me pick out dresses in my style and used their expertise to find a few more. The entire shop is incredibly clean, organized, and just so dang cute!I had a friend, my mom, and my two girls (9 & 10yo) with me. They welcomed my girls like they little adults theyre becoming (much more welcoming than some other shops). We nicely asked if the girls could try on a bridesmaid dress quickly at the end of my appointment - even though it was just a bridal appointment - they were more than willing to give the girls a piece of the excitement. It truly made the day for everyone.Every detail from start to finish was more than what I expected for dress shopping. Jocelyn & her team know what theyre doing!! I’ll be back for bridesmaids dresses & probably prom since the girls were already scoping them out! 😂

They did a great job of understanding the vision I had for my dress and picking out dresses that matched my thoughts and budget. They went above and beyond by taking the time to fit ivory fabric under the top lace layer of some of the dresses I tried on to give me a better idea of what ivory looked like compared to some of the champagne-toned dresses I tried on. Me and my bridal party had an amazing experience at Jocelyn Taylor Bridal! I was shopping for my bridesmaids dresses right as the pandemic was starting and Deb and Jocelyn went above and beyond to help me find the perfect dresses amidst all of the chaos. Even when I changed my mind 5 times they were understanding and didn’t make me feel bad! The dresses are beautiful with a wonderful selection and fair pricing! I would say it would help to have more plus size options for them to try on but for a newer bridal store that is completely understandable! They still made my girls feel confident and comfortable! I would give 6 stars out of 5 if I could!

Incredible customer service, I can not recommend this shop enough. Walked in feeling defeated after traveling 300 miles all over Iowa and not finding a dress my daughter loved. Huge selection of dresses (I think she tried on 15) and she walked out with “the one.”

This mother/daughter duo was so wonderful to work with! They knew exactly what they were doing and talking about and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Although theyre a business I never once felt pressured to buy their products. They truly want you to LOVE the dress you find and in no way push you into something you arent comfortable with or cant afford. I had the best experience shopping here for my wedding dress! They took so much time during the whole process to make sure they knew what I wanted and that I would get it. I ended up finding my dress here and it was the very first place I went to! I was the only one in the store and had both Deb and Jocelyn helping me to find the perfect one. They provided a fun and complete experience that you just can’t get anywhere else! They also only provided dresses in my price range and did not push anything on me just to try to sell it. These ladies truly went above and beyond to help me find the perfect wedding dress and did the same for my bridesmaids dresses. They truly know how to dress every body type to help women look and feel beautiful. I got my first wedding dress at Jocelyn Taylor three weeks ago. The first appointment was a VIB bridal appointment. It was SUCH a blast. Having the photographer, refreshments, and snacks really made the appointment more fun than I could imagine. I found a beautiful dress that you can’t get at any big bridal shop. This boutique has unique dresses to fit anyone’s style!Jocelyn went above and beyond! I changed my mind on the first dress I chose a few weeks ago. I was going to buy two dresses and sell the first one. But they managed to get that payment and dress on hold until I could come in and retry. They are very accommodating and saved me a huge headache. They helped me figure out what I really wanted. I was able to find the dress of my dreams (again)! I love knowing that not many brides will have my dress too! Buying from a local boutique makes it all the more unique!Supporting local has never been so fun!! Great service, really welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable!I walked in on a random Saturday and had only just started thinking about wedding dresses for my wedding. Jocelyn was extremely welcoming, even though I hadnt made an appointment and had only walked in. She actually does take walk-ins, if she doesnt already have an appointment, but she did have an appointment that day. She offered me a Sunday appointment, which I greatly appreciated, since her store isnt even officially open on Sundays! She is very accommodating and does have two times available by appointment on Sundays.I filled out her short questionnaire before arriving to my appointment. Jocelyn greeted me with a small bouquet of lovely flowers, which was such a nice touch. She already had several dresses picked out based on what Id said I was interested in on the questionnaire. I was rather undecided as to what I would like, but Jocelyn allowed me to try on many different dresses, gave her input, and even took photos of me to show to my sister, who is out of state. I never felt any pressure to buy a dress, and all of the dresses that I tried were carefully selected to be within my budget.I dont even have a wedding date picked out yet, so I havent yet bought a dress, but Jocelyn really helped me determine what kind of dress I like and what I should be looking for. Would highly recommend!

Jocelyn and Deb are absolutely amazing, and their dress selection is fantastic!I made an appointment online and filled out a short survey before my appointment. I was greeted the day of with the cutest bouquet of flowers, and they already had some dresses in mind for thanks to the survey! Jocelyn also opened her store on a day they are usually closed so I could go back and try on a favorite again.They also have a beautiful selection of prom dresses, bridesmaids dresses, and mother of the bride/groom dresses!Highly recommend making an appointment and stopping by for your dress shopping, you will not be disappointed!

Had a great experience. There were plenty of dresses to choose from and all of them were beautiful. Jocelyn was very helpful and assisted with every dress I tried on. Deb was amazing to work with and truly made finding that dress an experience that I’ll never forget! The pressure was on to say “yes to the dress” and Deb didn’t miss a step. She was patient with me and so kind to my whole bridal crew! I am standing up there in this gorgeous dress when she turned down the lights, and just then I knew this was the dress that I was getting married in.
