Clean Walmart everything in place and all the ppl here is nice. Look like the auto shop is close on Sunday

Coralville Walmart is one of the most cluttered, unhygienic, and unorganized Walmarts I have ever been to. Their customer service center is always closed. Suppose you asked them why because they have no employees and no one can smile at the customer. I know Covid-19 has put a lot of stress on you but come on. Please, Walmart, raise your rate and hire some people.Coralville Walmart does carry a variety of products that you cannot find in the other retail stores. So, if you are okay with a dirty store with terrible customer service, then this is for you.

Still has the old Walmart look. Amazing and sweet employees. My son had no symptoms prior to shopping and ended up getting sick. The maintenance were happy to help us. Whoever the gentlemen was with the dark brown hair that cleaned it was so helpful.

This Walmart should have been on an episode of Dirty Jobs. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired and the staff (with exception of the pharmacy) seem about as excited as someone marching to their own death. Maybe they wouldnt feel that way if there were more of them. I know that self checkout can be a quick convenient method of getting a customer to pay and get out, but they seem hell-bent on essentially making it the only way to checkout unless you need cigarettes or the fancy alcohol (but Im sure thats coming soon). The self checkouts themselves are fine if impersonal, but are poorly arranged and few enough in number that large clumps of crusty consumers gather behind them in a misshapen line while waiting their turn and blocking the main thoroughfare at the front of the store.

Such a diverse group of shoppers! Well stocked selections and clean store.

Service desk closed early due to lack of employees supposedly but there was a woman on her phone behind the counter doing nothing

Walmart is great super market you can buy all kind of products be it household, fresh groceries, bakery, pet food and accessories, electronics,art and craft, cosmetics etc.You have various brands and Walmart brand great value which has foods available at cheaper price!They have a nice collection of seasonal items and special aisle for seasonal items.Only place where you can everything at one place and now they have pick option also available.

Shelves were stocked. There were several open checkout counters with pleasant employees working the checkout counters.

We were waiting by the paint desk to get a gallon shaken. There were employees standing close by talking and completely ignoring us. We finally asked them if we could get some help and they said they didnt work in that department. We said wed been pushing the help button about 20 times. They walked away and still nobody came. No stir sticks to be found.

Seriously, PLEASE find a way to process the checkout faster. UGH!

As far as Walmart shopping goes. This particular location is pleasant. It has a decent selection of merchandise and adequate staff.

I had a flat tire driving through Coralville on I-80. Stopped into the Walmart auto center at 1pm on a Sunday for a flat repair. When I tell you this crew made the best of a potentially really bad situation, thats an understatement.A mechanic named Beth greeted me outside, even though she was in the middle of something else -- she was friendly, let me know where I could leave my vehicle and check in. Darnell handled the transaction. He was cheerful, efficient, and made authentic conversation. I am doing a great disservice in forgetting the name of the mechanic who actually completed the flat repair. It began with an E I believe? Elliot? Emery? Neither of these is correct, and I apologize. But he did quick and good work, and with a smile.Nobody wants a flat, least of all on I-80, and least of all on a Sunday afternoon. Could have been a whole ordeal. But the whole Walmart auto center team was wonderful, and I would absolutely trust this crew again.

Thankyou Walmart for your service to our country. As a powerfull entity you have accomplished providing legendary service through your employees. They are always eager to help.

So Walmart has some of the worst selection of about any store out there anymore. Youre quality is substandard and nowadays cleanliness is out the window in about e ery store.

I called in to ask if they had an electronic product and was then out on hold for 35 minutes before them answering only to have me repeat what i asked, they then transferred me to the hardware department for an electronic product and he was able to help me in less then 2 minutes even tho it isn’t his job, the hardware department helped me faster than the electronics department to which i was told they didn’t even have it, horrible customer service but thanks to the hardware guy 👍

I bought a product that didnt do what it said on the box for my brothers birthday. When I realized it didnt do what the box claimed I went to return it but the service counter had been closed for 45 minutes. His birthday was the next day and I explained the situation to a man near the counter - I didnt catch his name, he didnt have a badge on. He said he would make an exception and help me so that I could return the item and get a replacement that would work to save my present to my brother. If anyone reads this, it was about 8:45 PM on Friday July 16th and he had to call a woman named Dee for help so she may know who he is. This man gave me an amazing, personalized experience when I thought the days of those in a Walmart were long gone. Thank you for going above and beyond and helping me make my brothers birthday special, mystery man.

Just a basic Walmart. I wish they would update their checkout area and install some of the self-checkouts that have the moving belt attached. Lines at checkout are always long and having more self-checkout stations would make a big difference since at least half the checkout lanes are usually shut down anyway.

I’ve had some issues with the photo center staff here. Otherwise I find that they have a large selection at this location and always seem to have a lot of associates walking around available to ask questions. For how old this store is it has been well kept and doesn’t show it’s age.

Very clean facility throughout. Just need to pay attention to the produce area and the bathroom. Otherwise, top 3 Walmart in the metro...behind west Des Moines and Ankeny..two of the fantastic top tier superstores

It was awful they wont let truck drivers park there truckers need stuff too I was very disappointed- negative five star they made me put that one star up there but it doesnt count

Watch a lady park in a no parking zone.. Was in there for ove a hour while i waited for someone that was shopping.. This care should of been towed.. Dont their cameras work there?? I was afraid to leave my vehicle unattended.. If cameras dont work.

Drove an hour to my “local” Walmart to return something and was told their service center was closed for the day. That is absolutely ridiculous for such a large store like that to have no service area open.

Wow! This Walmart was amazing! Store spotless and very well organized. Employees actually eager to help and plenty of registers open!!!

Gave me a headake over parking, told me I can only be there for a half an hour, because I was in a commercial vehicle.

Never enough cashiers. Its great to have all the self checks open, but their are only 8 and customers are not pros so it tends to take longer. Need to have more cashiers to lessen wait times at checkout.

Didnt have a chance to go inside. Some rude lady hit my dog in the parking lot and kept on going. Dont worry hes ok! Youre an evil person. How could you not check on him??! You knew how hard you hit him. We made eye contact and everything. Heartless 😔

And your generosity in immediately stopping to assist, then when item was misleadingly marked, (likely a simple mistake or even customer caused), you didnt hesitate to go above and beyond to offer a price match. In these challenging times, your character shines.

We have been going to this Walmart for the last seven years so the place is as familiar as our home pantry. Its clean and fairly organized. Help was available the few times we asked for it.

Clean and spacious better than average Walmart

Normally I dont have a problem with CVL Walmart but today sure wasnt good. First the bottle return area does not open until 10. I understand that but when I went right at opening time, I could not return my plastic bottles. Neither machine was working. The cashier I went to was very quiet, not welcoming at all. She did NOT wipe down the register area between customers. I purchased $113.00 and all but 5 items were food. Because that time of year is approaching, I had purchased 3 containers of ant poison products. She put those in the same bags as the food. This cashier needs to be retrained. When I tried to call the store, the phone ran many, many times with no answer. So I decided to write this review instead.

I am always waiting in line to check out when there is 3 people at the door....1 to count 1 to greet and 1 to check your stuff. They need to open more cashiers and everyone should be crossed trained to do everything

Pick up and delivery system is beyond incompetent. It works well if you only want half your order, or if youre okay with half of your order being substituted.

Possibly the worst two trips I have encountered in a Walmart. During my first visit to this location I was stuck in line for 20 minutes+ while a cashier attempted to open a security lock on a bottle of alcohol. On my second visit to return and upgrade an item the customer service employee rudely said we close at 8pm and open at 8am you can come see us then.

It looked really nice but I didnt get the chance to do any shopping there

The lines are soooo long to check out. There are plenty of workers walking around and if ask for help, some have just shrug their shoulders

Bought a snow sled for next day pickup when there’re still 3 of them left at this store (shown on their website) they canceled my order in the morning due to high demand......if you gonna cancel my RESERVED items because of high demand, what’s the point of putting them as available online then have people reserve them then cancel orders! I would avoid this place at any cost.....

Super irritated the only 24 hour grocery store now closes at 11 with no change in the future. That was our emergency go-to for, well, everything. Hy-Vee is open til midnight at least.

Drove there to buy some beer and found out that the alcohol section was closed by 9:00 oclock at night. Had to go to Caseys.

Clean but didn’t find my coffee n didn’t find the cheese

My rating is not off the service I received. My rating is due to the fact they didnt have enough personnel to work the garage. The managers accommodated my needs and everything went well.

Its Walmart. What can I say.

Smaller than the larger Walmarts. Does not have automotive tire/oil change. Staff is relatively friendly despite always being short-staffed while managers stand around or smoke outside of the building.

Long line,only one checkout open. Asked employees why no more open, got blank looks, then they said they didnt have any thing to do with that.

Very nice.. found more than I needed as always,but its not a bad thing..I get plenty of steps in ..I didnt find much Christmas left to chose from..sad 😢..

Would give 0 stars. Employee took my full cart when I walked away for 7 minutes then yelled repeatedly that food was bad! when I told her I walked away for only 7 minutes. Over and over again.. that food was bad.. Kept insisting my food had spoiled!! No apology or other statements. Then tried to get me to take half of it back but only the paper goods. I refused and told her to put it all back then. Had to refill my cart in the 13 mins before store closed. She followed me around the whole time and hid whenever I looked at her.. very creepy and unsettling experience.. NEVER SHOPPING THERE AGAIN!!!! FELT VERY THREATENED BY HER BEHAVIOR! VERY AGGRESSIVE!

My Walmart is always helpful. The Pharmacy folks go above and beyond to assist us with our medicines.

So i was passing thru on my way back to des moines as i had just picked up a horse trailer. we ended up with a flat tire so i stopped at the tire center. the lady at the desk was super nice however she had 6 people in line and the shop techs kept walking up to the window interrupting her with customers and were just extremely rude to her. i had specific instructions that the 2 tires on the left side were to be put in my vehicle as they were brand new. i bought all 4 brand new so they all matched and i could guarantee to get home. well when i finally got home i noticed 1 new tire was flat and for some reason i had only 1 new tire but yet all 3 of the bad ones including the dry rotted spare tire. i called for 2 days and sat on hold for sometimes up to 15min with no answer in the tire center. finally i called and asked to speak to a manager. she took down my name and number and was going to have tire center manager call me back and well that also has never happened. very disappointed in how their tire center is ran

This store was clean and well stocked. Fresh produce looked good and reasonably priced compared to similar stores.To accommodate for the increase of shoppers due to holidays, they were making sure that enough checkout lanes were open.Cashiers have been friendly and efficient most of the time.
