I called Turf Masters about a week ago when my sod was looking yellow. Sagar Patel came over that night and installed above ground irrigation and my yard is coming back great!! Thanks, Turf Masters!!

Turftmaster has been doing the snow removal and lawn care for Vintage of Iowa City on East Foster Road. The community here feel that the work has been done very professionally. Highly recommend there services.

I have used Turf Masters for seven years now.Mowing, hedge trimming, and chemical treatment, and yard plants and tree mulch, (friendly, knowledgeable, timely, professional)Before Turfmasters I tried True Green and they tore up my lawn, doing airation after a hard rain.Unfriendly, and rude trying to deal with the results of their service. Also more expensive!Very happy being a Turf Masters client!Would recommend to anyone, and I have many times!👍🏼

Called two weeks ago to have several residential jobs performed. Expressed desire for prompt attention as several other businesses dropped the ball last Fall. The person I spoke to was very nice. She took all of my information, work requests and said their estimator was on vacation that week. I was told he’d contact me early the following week. Three weeks later, I’ve never been contacted. This is how I judge businesses so will never consider them again. I’ve spoken to two other businesses since and both offered to come out within 1-2 days. They will be earning my business here and moving forward.

Sagar set me up with a new Hunter Pro controller for our yard irrigation system and we couldnt be happier!! He took the time to go over all aspects of of our irrigation system as we just moved here and irrigation was new to us. Sagar made sure all sprinkler heads and zones were working and gave me some tips that will come in handy when we have to make minor adjustments. Sagar was professional yet personable--will recommend TURFMASTERS to anyone in the future!!

The Turf Masters team is great. I found them to be very responsive -- either by phone or email. They do a great job with our lawn and in the winter they handle snow removal. Theyre always on site quickly after a big snow. The lawn team is great and always do a quick and very expert looking job. Kind of makes the lawn look like a ball field for a day!

Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone! Talked to Chris about doing all our landscaping from the ground up, he came out one day took a look and didn’t hear from him for a month until I reached out asking what the status was. He told me he was busy and would stop out in the next few days and take the measurement he needed, 2 weeks later still haven’t seen or heard from him. 3 other companies who are also busy catching up on projects from last year came out and I had quotes and designs in 2.5 weeks. I have close friends that use these guys for commercial snow and lawn care that are looking to go in a different direction after hearing of my experience, just brutal!

This is my first summer with Turf Masters and must say I’m very impressed with the services they provide. My lawn looks so pretty after each mowing. And the crew that put in the mulch deserves high praise!

I started using Turf Masters for snow removal the winter of 2015 and lawn care services in the spring of 2016 for 2 commercial properties. I have been very happy with the services they have provided at both locations. Their snow and ice management has been prompt and thorough. Turf Masters have provided quality lawn care services, too. The lawns have been weed free and well manicured. Turf Masters employees have been courteous and accommodating with their vehicles to make sure customers are able to access the business without being inconvenienced. I would highly recommend Turf Masters to both residential and commercial customers.

As a House Director at Alpha Phi Sorority we have used Iowa City Turf Masters for a few years. As of this spring I have requested that Sagar handle our entire account. In the past we had another representative from the company and there was no follow through and communication was lacking.Sagar has been our go to for our sprinkler system and was very responsive. This spring we had some plants that were not applicable for color for our front walkway and some that did not weather well over the winter that were planted last fall with our landscape partial makeover. After discussing this with Sagar he agreed and practically took the words from my mouth what was wrong with this landscape setting. Within a week the plants were replaced with knock out roses and other fresh plantings.If you want prompt service and a professional that knows his plants and layout I highly recommend him. They do a superior job of mowing and edging and my yard has looked the better under their care than during any other time I have owned the property. Their prices are also very fair. Great Service, Dependable, Excellent communication. We had them lay sod in our backyard and gravel around our pool and pool deck. I have used Turf Masters for about two years now, and Ive always been pleased with their work! My lawn includes a garden with curved limestone edging, and I have a few peonies in the middle of the lawn that I worry about with the weedwacker. Theyve always been very careful; Id recommend Turf Masters to anyone with gardens they want to protect. Another plus- the staff is always really friendly!

I ordered several hundred dollars worth of sod from this company last August. I had several days of vacation time to lay it. I called twice to confirm delivery. They never showed up or returned my phone calls. Now Ill have to wait until next spring. In my experience, they are not trustworthy. Find another source.

When I discovered I had a grub problem I called Turfmasters and they handeled it immediately... now my lawn is green and healthy. BTW grubs are not easy to mitigate, but they did it. They are knowledgeable and have the equipment and people to get the job done.
