Stopped in here today for assistance with a tire that I blew last night! Unfortunately the tire wasn’t able to be fixed but they did have my tire in stock and were still able to accommodate me with a brand new tire at a fair price. The sales associate “OG” was very friendly and jumped right into action! It took no time to have my tire replaced and I was back on the road in a flash. Wobbled in with a flat tire around 5:45pm, after being turned down by a shop down the street. Glad they did, because I ended up having a really great experience dealing with OG and Doug. From start to finish they were extremely courteous and professional, and kind enough to point out a potential issue with one of my other tires that I will be looking into. I had such an amazing experience with Mavis located in Coram NY. This morning my car battery died. I called up Mavis and they immediately sent an technician to my apartment complex with a brand new battery. Not only was my battery replaced but the technician also cleaned the battery compartment since the old one had corroded significantly. He also made sure nothing else was wrong with my car before leaving. I would highly recommend this company to family and friends.

I was concerned that there was a major problem with my car but the staff was so helpful and knowledgeable!! They fixed my car quickly and it turned out that it was not a major issue! Very trustworthy!

After a long week the people at Mavis were very upfront and helpful and not to up sell me on the tire I needed for my car as a single mom who is in school full time and works full time I highly appreciated this 👍🏻

My son had 4 tires installed along with 4 struts and a wheel alignment last May of 2020. He spent a total of $1500 . He goes to Mavis in Coram NY and deals with OG the manager at the time. He goes to Mavis in Mt Sinai for oil changes because Coram doesn’t do them. He went there today for an oil change and Mavis in Mt Sinai noted a bubble in one of the tires and told my son to go back to Coram to have them take care of it.OG looks at the tire gives my son a price of $170 including tire half off 4 extended warranty because he didn’t get them before he wasn’t sure what they were and installation fee. My son calls me up and tells me what OG told him. I asked my son to go back in and ask OG for a copy of the quote or write one up because he had to order the tire and come back Tuesday plus my son may forget what he said by the time he got home regardless. OG refused to give my son a quote copy or hand write one . My son told him I am not here to fight with you I just need a price copy. OG then said loudly and nasty in front of the customers now you really pissing me off, now I am canceling everything. I am not doing anything for you. Next customer he shouted and blew him off!!!My son didn’t need to be treated that way. My son called me up all shaken up and aggravated. When I called him up asking why the attitude with my son after spending $1500 last year and is a loyal Mavis customer. I wanted him to bring home something with a price quote and you basically refused to due it he hung up on me before I could even finish what I had to say. I will never step foot in that place again for repairs but I spoke with someone at customer service and they are going to help me out. If all works out I will continue my service at a different location .OG has no patience to be in customer service field . OG very rude, nasty and definitely not professional at all. Gives Mavis a bad name. I am hoping all works out well so we can keep our Mavis relationship but not in CORAM or OGFrank LaRosa

Absolutely satisfied and impressed with the service I received at Mavis in Coram. The guys were very busy and Diligently working. Elijah went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care and able to make it home I was exhausted after working over night for the past two days as a Nurse. These are our essential workers the true hero’s that keep us running. Thank you again Elijah.

Highly inconsiderate a rude staff. The main mechanic was rude to me the instant I walked out of my car, insulting me and my vehicle. Being that tire replacement/rotations are essentially the lowest skill job in all of automotive and that the Spanish deli around the corner can equally do the same job, but for lower prices and shorter waits, youd expect theyd be clamoring for my business... but NOPE.Highly recommend any other tire location, including Mavis in Selden, which was very pleasant and communicative with me.

OG was GREAT! He was very accommodating, and knowledgeable. OG provides great services and gives details and thorough breakdown of the services required/rendered. I highly recommend Mavis, and will definitely continue to be an ongoing customer. Great customer service and the bathroom is really clean!

In December 2 months ago. Purchased a total of 7 tires on 3 vehicles. 3 of those tires need to be replaced including one with catastrophic failure. They see nothing wrong with their tires disintegrating. I will never use this company again.

They take on more than they can handle. Dropped my car early Saturday morning. Came back end of day wasn’t done. Left it overnight and didn’t get done until end of Sunday. And when I got back I had to sit for 2 hours waiting for it to get done.

My experience at Mavis was flawless, I had 2 flat tires and when I entered the building Eli met me at the front door with a smile we both walked to the vehicle and discussed what I possibly needed, afterwards I was kindly greeted by O.G and he helped me with my purchase of two tires and alignment . As a woman I have never felt so comfortable entering a auto mechanic shop besides today. I hope the are recognized for their phenomenal customer service and extreme friendliness I will return for any future issues!!

This is the first time we took the car and messed with the hood of the car and couldn’t close it would not bring the car here ever again we only came for the front breaks 😒😡😡😡

Came here on Saturday the 30th (10/30/21) for an oil change and to check the slight shake my car was making. By my own admission, I accidentally went to the wrong mavis tire, I had a scheduled appointment for 11 AM. By the time I got to the coram mavis it was 11:15 AM. I felt uncomfortable leaving it there immediately due to OGs terrible customer service. Doesnt know how to talk to a customer. After not hearing anything all day, I called at 4:55 PM. I explained I dropped it off at 11:15-11:30 AM and OG immediately cut me off and called me a liar and said I dropped it off at 3:15. I said it had been there since 11:15 and he said I was lying to him and that he had already called me and told me it was done and he would explain what was wrong when I got there. He never called me at all actually, so if anyone is a liar, its him. Told me I need new struts, an alignment and a new front tires. The front tires are 4 months old. I did my own struts and needed no alignment because its sags due to bad struts. He also used full synthetic oil and charged me $90 for an oil change without asking If I wanted full synthetic. Will not be returning here or paying this shop anything to work on my car. Ill go to the selden one instead, they are super professional and arent looking to rip you off.
