As far as boat repairs goes, this is the place to go. This was my first time at this business and if I need anything else fixed, this will be my first stop. Honest people working here with great customer service. Walked in with an issue and Jimmy fixed it no questions asked. The owner, Michael, was super friendly and deserves any and all business in the area.

Your expectations will be exceeded. These guys diagnose problems better than anybody, and they fix the root causes of the problem so the symptoms dont come back. Ive been going to them for years and I could not recommend them more.

Being from the Raleigh area, we came in from out of town to enjoy lake Norman. But then literally right after getting our boat off the trailer, the motor wouldnt run normally. I thought our whole trip was ruined, but Mike saved the day! He had his crew diagnose the issue, repair, and return the boat back within a one day turnaround, and cost was fair!! Hello everybody, I must say that Mike and his staff at Marine Machine are top notch. These guys are excellent at what they do. My boat is approaching 14 years old and due to Mikes high level of service and skill, it runs better than the day that I bought it. I purchased a 01 Javelin that had a problem with the Sea Star helm..I took it to Mike and his staff to repair or replace it..I also had them go over the boat to make sure everything was operating correctly. Ill say this, he did a fantastic job the price was very reasonable. I recommend Marine Machine, theyre very knowledgeable and was able to get everything on my boat working the way it should..Not to mention they went through the engine which was an old 01 200hp Johnson, it runs in the mid 60s with a full load. Dont know many shops that can make an old engine run like that..Thanks for everything Mike and trust Ill be a repeat customer..

Beware!! The owner of this business has one goal at the end of the day, to maximize his profits on your repair. He has no empathy for whatever situation you find yourself in and is not afraid to let you know it. In my case I found 2 parts online that were brand new and much cheaper than what he estimated my cost through him for the same parts. He told me he does not allow customers to buy parts as this is his business and how he makes his living!! I told him I understood, but was only trying to save some money as this repair was going to cost way more than I could afford. He told me I could take the boat elsewhere knowing that was not an option as he had both stern drives taken apart and off the boat. In the end he charged me $1400 for those 2 parts I could have gotten for $600!I asked for a quote or full estimate at least 5 times over a 3 week period only to be told I’d get one ASAP and that he was very busy. He started doing work I did not authorize him to do? I had an overheating issue in the Stern Engine, before I knew it he told me I had corrosion issues in both stern drives and they were already dismantled and off the boat?I told him I was concerned about the size of the repair and asked him If I could delay having to fix Port side drive as I did not think I could afford to do it. Instead of understanding my predicament he tells me it’s his reputation on the line and that if he is doing the repair it’s all or nothing? Again basically bullying me and telling me it’s his way or the highway.Throughout the repair he did not proactively call me once to update me, I always had to inquire as to what was going on.Bottom line is they know their stuff and it will get fixed. But in the end they know they have you over a barrel and will exploit that at every chance. My repair should of been 1/3 what I ended up paying.And the icing on the cake, I show up to pay my bill with a check for $6139 per the invoice he sent me. He literally asks me if I had a $10 bill in my wallet because he forgot there was a $10 ramp fee to put the boat back in the water.........are you kidding me!!!! The greed and arrogance is incredible, do yourself a huge favor.....avoid him if you can.
