Randomly stumbled upon the spot during my time in Coronado and I am extremely happy that I did! Ordered the garlic knots, the Whitestone pizza, and a pitcher of a local IPA. Everything was phenomenal and really tasty. This spot also is right along the water, making for a great view as you feast on the tastiest pizza in town!

Probably one of the best happy hours in the area. From 3-6 DAILY they have $2.50 slices of pizza, half priced appetizers, and beer specials. They have 12 beers on tap, with $3 Bud Light and $5 for everything else. Plus, they have reduced price pitchers as well. Id rate the pizza and garlic knots as average (pizza isnt very saucy and knots are on the dry side), but the zucchini sticks are excellent. Add a beautiful view of the harbor and pretty decent service, and its a good place to try out. Beware because it can get extremely crowded!

Was lucky to hit the lunch hour special from 3 - 6pm. $2.50 for slices and half off appetizers. Seating limited, can end up in the hot sun if shaded spots are taken. Pizza (pepperoni, Napoli, sausage + mushroom) wasnt bad for the pricing. Garlic knots were bland, but the mozzarella sticks were great. About $34 for 5 people.
I mean its an outdoor pizza place in a little group of shops, with a great view of the bay, so I wasnt expecting a whole lot, but WOW best pizza I have ever had. The dough was crisp and soft and airy and super tasty! Had some buffalo wings (do wish they had a spicier option) also the two ciders they had (one was a good orange on tap, the other was pineapple and guava I think in a can) Id give this place 6 stars if I could!
Spaghetti was good, but garlic knots were pretty bland. The cheese steak sandwich was really good, but I have no idea why they would have you pay extra for mushrooms and red pepper.Two stars because there were only 5 tables with customers, and the service was still slow. On top of that, I had to flag down a worker to get a refill. If youre passing by and need a quick bite, go elsewhere otherwise be prepared to wait.
3 1/2 StarsBeen here a few times. Service was okay. Our server forgot about our Salad we ordered so we cancelled it.The pizza came out pretty quick along with the french fries. The fries were really good with the perfect crisp yet soft on the inside.We ordered a large pepperoni with mushroom pizza. The pizza was a bit oily from the pepperoni but we just dabbed a napkin on it.The ambiance is chill and the view is beautiful of Downtown SD. Great location with a lot of parking.Overall, Id return and recommend this restaurant if you have a larger party.
The philly cheese steak was to die for as were the mozzarella sticks. When you add a salad to your sandwich for $4.99 extra, it comes in a full sized clam shell completely full. I was shocked. It was definitely worth the money.

Ive always liked their pizza, sandwiches and and salads. But Tonight my husband decided to have spaghetti. It looked like a Childs plate or a senior citizen plate. There was no meat, my husband, assumed there would be andwe should have asked. But weve had meatless spaghetti before, the problem with this one though was it tasted like they heated up tomato soup and poured it over noodles. I like tomato soup but I like it with a grill cheese sandwich not over noodles. Atmosphere was nice service was nice but 13.99 for tomato soup poured over noodles, not so much. We will eat there again, we just wont order the spaghetti.

The location is great and the pizzas are true to size. I found them too expensive. Adding vegetables was $10 extra. It tasted good. I found it funny that the cheese fell off in curds instead of being stringy
Pizza by the beautiful San Diego bay right off Coronadoβs Ferry Landing was absolutely amazing. Thick crust, perfect amount of cheese, and huge pieces of Pepperoni. We ordered the 28β to accommodate our family, and the pizza was cut in squares and easy to pick up. If you eat inside the seating area, alcoholic beverages are served, but we preferred to picnic on the beach overlooking beautiful downtown San Diego. Military discounts are given which cut our bill significantly. Definitely a place to try!
This is a better location Village Pizza. I was able to try the lasagna here because the other location ran out for the last couple of days. It was excellent, probably the best dish. The take outs are at the rear end of the restaurant, opposite side of the front entrance. There should be a sign, which would be nice. I liked the salad, too. The servers were friendly.
A bit of a long wait after ordering. But not a problem when enjoying a great view of downtown San Diego. The pizza and fried zucchini was veery good. Eating there is always a treat
First time visiting food was great they accommodated us great considering our party was 12 people. Food was delicious and timely. Perfect.
After cycling around coronado with family we were starving so ended up seating at the pizza place.Our waitress gave us the right recommendations and was very friendly.We tried different pizzas - salami mushroom, roasted peppers onion mozzarella, tomato ham mozzarella etc and they were all great items. Menu had other great choices of salads, pasta and kids menu too.A fun, casual place for pizza. Would return.

Its not as good as it used to be. Pizza sauce lacked taste & wings were very crunchy (not good) Been coming here for years but atmosphere has totally change, I get some changes had to happen due to covid but we wish you (pizza parlor) the best.

My favorite pizza in San Diego. The Pep is the best! 5 stars.However, it the worst service at a restaurant in San Diego.It is not the fault of those actually working in the restaurant. They are working hard. We can see them. The problem is, they are perpetually understaffed. Itβs easy to spot. Seems like a leadership/ownership problem.Today we waited nearly an hour for two slices of pepperoni. Two slices!
Best on the island, and great views. Service can be hit or miss, though.

Appetizing food with a memorable bayfront view.Took my family (10 total) for lunch, and the family sized pizza, salad, two orders of garlic fries, plus BBQ wings were delicious.I noticed they stock local beers, but Im not sure if the staff help you pick the right beer with your order.Also, our waitress was extra helpful in setting our table, getting our order out, and checking up on us.Something for the whole family.RECOMMEND: Veggie Calzone ($13)

Worst service at night from Leticia. Took 45 minutes before we were told our stuff would be up soon. Meanwhile, 3 other tables that arrived after us are happily eating. We arrived at 7:10pm, and the receipt shows the order was entered at 7:27pm. We got our checks, but are still waiting on food an hour after we ordered.

Really good food but do not go if it looks even a little busy. Service is horrible, employees sitting on their phones and not doing their jobs. I would recommend take out or going in the middle of the week for lunch when there is only a few people seated. But again, food is good. Service just sucks.

Very bad service. She brought us the wrong pizza and when I told her we didnβt order that and we didnβt want the pizza the waitress took it back with attitude. We where not provided with any utensils or sugar for our food or iced tea we had to go ask.Youβd think that the service would be better or the staff friendlier due to the Pandemic but is quite the opposite.This was on Saturday around 2:30-3

Good pizza with gluten free options. Prices are on the high side, and service is slow as the place is a bit understaffed. Good happy hour deals when they are available, and beer selection is good.
This is our go to place we love it here. Great food good selection. Pizza is awesome. Happy hour is a must here its always fairly crowded so that tells you its good. We eat here a few times a month for years now.

Visting friends and they took us to Coronado beach. We decided to have dinner here.PROS:--View. Gorgeous at night.-- Heaters for the cold nights that were a shock as they are non-existent in Florida this time of year.--Plenty of outdoor seating to take advantage of the view. Wire screening covered the area.-- Generous portions.-- Small salads were big enough for two people to share. My boyfriend and I did a small greek salad and a small pizza and went home with half the pizza.-- Roasted veggie pizza was very tasty and my red-sauce lovin bf was surprised how good it was. We both enjoyed the olive oil base.CONS:-- The waitress was a bit spotty. Took a long while to come by initially and then took only drink orders without asking if we were ready to order.-- Mozzarella sticks are HUGE and only come in 5 or 15 count orders. Most of them went uneaten and I felt bad to waste the food.-- Apparently, the french fries change because we had a picky eater who only likes straight style and crinkle cut arrived at the table.-- Drinks were not automatically filled up and we had to ask for refills.
Thank you for bringing out our food. I had a toddler strapped to me and everyone was very accommodating.

Village pizza this used to be my favorite pizza place house COVID-19. Honestly it doesnβt take rocket scientist to give good service literally they have no attention to detail five people working and all theyβre doing is talking to each other and playing around. I understand that COVID-19 has put a tons of pressure on restaurants like yours but when it comes to customer service you guys are horrible. You might as well close your doors and let somebody else have the opportunity for the location. Because you were not last. Iβve just seen people get up and walk out and take their food to go. They have a manager here on the Bayside that spends most of his time outside of the doors talking to his and friends.
Greek salad was good.. pizza was good.. wings were good.. The view was the best part. Service could have been better.
Village Pizzeria Bayside is immediately located at the base of the pier for the Coronado Ferry landing. A netted covering with lots of tables and great view from many seats, the pizza, location, staff and atmosphere, do San Diego proud. This was my first visit to Village, and it happened purely as a recommendation from one of the doormen at the Loews Bayside Resort. When I asked for a recommendation, the young man immediately said Village Pizza at Bayside.Initially, I was concerned that we would be arriving just before 9pm, the very time they officially close. But when we arrived the lady who placed us on the wait list just waived her hand and shrugged it off, oh, youre on the list, dont worry. And she was right. They did close the wait list sign-ups at 9pm, but there was no rushed or 2nd class treatment to those of us who were seated in the late hours. In fact, we left after eating, chatting and enjoying the view at about 10:05pm, and others were still lingering, even as the staff just began to clean up for the day.The staff, as I mentioned already, was wonderful. From checkin, to seating, to server, and even another staff member who helped us with directions to find the nearest grocery story open on the vacation island- everyone was excellent.The pizza was New York style, served in 3 sizes: 12, 18 and 28 (enough for a large family). We chose the 18 for just the two of us, and had lots left over. We could have had just the 12, since the crust was excellent and hand tossed with lots of flavor. The toppings were also fresh and excellent. I had sausage, pepperoni, tomatoes and mushrooms. I personally would rather sausage wasnt crumbled, but it was still tasty nonetheless. The pizza came hot and reasonably fast. Our drinks were filled and refilled quickly.Overall, it was an excellent experience. I would love to bring my whole family here- the perfect spot for a fun, casual, family night at the water edge.The highlight of this fun meal time was that the last ferry of the night ended the trip with a fireworks show right in the front of the water, next to our restaurant. We got to view the fireworks show as we ate. It was nice, enjoyable and fun.Definitely will return!

Great pizza place with a great beer and wine selection. The space has a lot of room for hanging out with friends, and can accommodate large groups. Their pies are delicious, and the large pies are HUGE! The service was friendly, and this place is great for dinner and enjoying time with friends and family!
