They told me the crack cannot be fixed because it’s close to edge and want to replace the entire windshield. I know the vertical crack should be fixable. Then I find another guy to quickly repair it with good result under 40 bucks.

Wort customer service I have ever experienced. They completely blew-off my appointment. when I called to ask if they were still coming out, they assured me they were on their way. I waited from 11am to 7pm. When I called to make a complaint with the corporate office, their complaint department rings 3 times, and hangs up. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR TIME, OR BUSINESS.

Did not show up within the 4-hour window that was scheduled a week in advance. Called ~2 hours afterwards, asking if I was still available. Of course, I wasnt, as that would defeat the purpose of scheduling it. No communication prior from either the tech or the store/dispatch. Will not be recommending or utilizing their services again.

Had a cracked side window. Dropped my car off with an appointment. They were done in half the time they said it would take. All parties involved were professional and upfront about the total cost. The front desk clerk is very unprofessional, rude and with many excuses to cover her poor judgment. I was waiting to get my vehicle service and another customer shows up and they took her car first because me vehicle was assigned to another tech. I asked why the other customer vehicle got serviced first she responded that a technician that she assigned for the another customer was done and my not. I asked why she didnt reroute my vehicle to the next available tech? Her response was very rude with many excuses about covid, her time out work, shortness of staff and finally she said dont tell me how to do my job, have a nice day. Dear customers if you have to replace any glass take your vehicle to someone else there is no need to tolerate this type of unprofessional service. I will not come back ever to this place I rather drive 50 or 100 miles to get a great service that a rude and I still have to pay for it. As a final note this is the second week Im waiting for their service the initial appointment was at 8am and they order the wrong glass. How well and organized is this particular shop when they cant order the correct glass? and I end up o taking my vehicle to the dealership because the windshield camera cant get calibrated.

I had my windshield replaced at Safelite about 1 week ago. The whole experience was very quick, easy, and painless. However, a few days later, I noticed a wind whistling noise coming from the windshield on the passenger side. I thought it might go away, so I waited a few more days. Nevertheless, it did not. I called the customer service line, and am waiting for a response...

Jeanette H. is the rudest person I’ve ever had the pleasure of speaking to. Not only was she unprofessional in discussing my appointment but she canceled my home replacement service and rescheduled an in person visit for me. She needs to be fired for being rude and incompetent. She needs to learn some new skills in customer service or just stay home. Who tells a custom “I’m sorry my technician had the gall to have an emergency “???? Looks like you guys have a real winner there!!!

I have tried to get service here 2 times. The first time was for a windshield replacement. They wanted nearly 3 times as much as the other places in town. This time I just needed a small ding repair. They wanted me to pay $145 out of my pocket. I got it done, with a place that has been in business for over 25 years. They only charged me $40 total. This place is the biggest rip-off.

We first used their website to make an appointment to have them come out and fix our windshield. I got an email stating they would email us with a statement so we would know what we were looking at cost wise. We were supposed to get the email 24 hours after the appointment was made. Well I ended up rescheduling because I didnt get an email. So that was last week that I made the appointment. They were supposed to come Wednesday 7/21. I rescheduled for Friday 7/23 because I didnt get an email. So I called them today and they had me on hold for almost 20 minutes. Then she disconnects the call. Calls back, my husband talks to her and the insurance agent on the phone trying to figure out how much its going to cost us. Well they end up telling my husband that the policy number is incorrect, or not valid. What?! Its our insurance, and no its not expired. How does that even make sense?! So I called back to cancel the appointment because I dont feel confident in a company that cannot even find my policy number, and cannot give me an answer that should have been provided last week. 10/10 dont recommend. This was my first experience with SafeLite too. I wont attempt to use them again.

Set up a windshield replacement gave them my insurance information when the appointment was set up. When the technician showed up to do the work he asked for $550. I asked him to wait so I could sort this out because Im only supposed to pay $100 deductible. He was very rude and stated he didnt have time for that and that he had to move on. But thats all good because were getting someone else to do it. So long safelite. With workers like that you wont be in business long.

My wife and I called them to schedule an appointment for our rear power sliding glass window in our ram 1500. We sent pictures and sent them the information they needed and they gave us a quote of 657.00 and the appointment date. We take it in and we leave and we get halfway home and they call us saying they ordered the wrong window and that we can bring it back the next day before noon and they would have it fixed for us for an extra 460.00. So we get ready to leave our home at 10 in the morning and they call us saying that we missed our appointment. We didn’t even have an actual appointment for that day. They said they had to move to the next customer and that we wouldn’t be able to bring it in until today which is another week later. We call into work yet again to take it in, they replaced it in good time but when we got home, we noticed the silencer carpet in the back behind our seats was missing. So we call them about it and they said they have no pictures that show it in there before they started. So we go get a quote from the dealership for how much it’ll cost to get it replaced which is 240.00 and we had a picture of what it looked like before the window was replaced and we went back to safelite. The lady at the desk was rude and was bad mouthing us to the other customers in the store because we were trying to show her what was missing and that we want it back or to get a refund. She tells us that she’s just the CA and she can’t do anything about it and she wasn’t gonna let us talk to her that way. And we asked to see the pictures they took because she said they didn’t have a picture showing we had that piece. Sure enough they didn’t even take a picture of the area in question even though they told us they had to take out our rear seats. And she was like, how do I know that’s how your truck was before you brought it in so I was like that’s the same question I’m going to ask you. And she’s like I guess we are at an impass. And there was no store manager there to help us. She wants us to take another day off of work to go in there on Monday to talk to the manager..oh and they didn’t even clean all the glass and they didn’t center the window they replaced..Rude and terrible service!

Went in for a scheduled windshield ding repair that happened two days prior. I was told that it was a preexisting ding that had already been repaired. I tried to explain that I have never had to fix a ding before. Delfino was adamant that I must be lying. I have never had to fix a ding, and I did not appreciate the service hand implying that I was lying.

I called Nissan for a windshield replacement on a Frontier and they directed me to Evins Glass. I called Evins Glass to Schedule an appointment and they Quoted me $735.Being frugal I called around. Safelite quoted me $421.I took it to Safelite and dropped it off. 25 min later my phone rang and my truck was ready!!!Amazing Customer Service and almost half price of Evins Glass.So my Question is, Evins Glass why do you charge nearly double the price???God Bless The Crew At Corpus Christi Safelite!!!With Covid19 every $1 is critical to us. And you saved me $314 !!!!!Unreal, God Is Good!!!

Showed up to a locked door with the lights off inside.Tried calling the number, after talking with the automated system, then getting transferred to a real person, the answering machine said they were closed and to call back during regular hours...its 4:35...yall close at 5. If thats not during regular business hours I dont know what is.

WILL NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!! EVER! bought a new safelite windsheild last october. the other day it got a small chip in it. called them out to fix it. then the guy calls and says sorry, the windshield cracked (when they were trying to fix it) so it is going to cost you your $500.00 deductible! so i call safelite and they said sorry thats just our policy, and im like my policy is when someone damages my vehicle, they fix it. now we are ten times worse off than when we started. WHAT A JOKE SAFELITE IS. (we ended up going to Evins glass where they only charged us $235.00 total installed) here is a photo of how our windshield looked AFTER the safelite guy came out!

3 stars because the tech cracked my windshield, BUT management is making it right.The tech, Joseph used poor judgement and attempted to repair a ding when the windshield was too hot, ended up cracking. I ended up speaking with Management, Mike and Crystal, they were very apologetic, kind, and offered to replace my windshield. Which I appreciate, but at the same time, it sux that I have to get a new windshield on my brand new Jeep, its not even 1 week old. My installation appointment is next week so, Ill update my review after. Ill be $hitting bricks until then after reading all these reviews. I cant imagine the cost in damages a leak would cause with a NAV screen and all the electronics. Ive also just had my Mom tell me her Safelite windshield leaks and a co-worker mentioned the electronics in her drivers seat was damaged during windshield installation and she needs a new one now. Ugh! Praying this installation goes good!!! 🙏🙏Fast forward to months later - no leaks or issues with the windshield other than Safelite Corporate sending me an invoice to collect payment of $292 for the windshield that was supposed to be at no cost to me. I called corporate, explained what happened and the rep, Tina said she could adjust off the balance if there were notes in the account. She looked up my acct. and no notations were made from the local Safelite shop or managers to explain the situation. Very frustrating!! Now its being investigated by corporate with the local shop and Im waiting for a call back to see if the managers can vouch for my story.(before and after pics below)

Love the Safelite in Corpus, not so happy with the call center. I stopped by the shop without an appointment for a star chip on my windshield. Everyone was very nice, even offered me a bottle of cold water when I got there. In just a few minutes technician Wade called my name. I showed him the places I was concerned about, he explained what needed to be fixed and what didnt, repaired the star and I was done. I was there 10 minutes tops. The call center on the other hand is ridiculous. I called to see if I could go in a day before my appointment. After holding for several minutes, a friendly operator answered the phone but could not answer my question without calling the Corpus location (which I thought I was calling). I waited on hold while she called the shop and finally hung up. She did call me back (from a number listed as San Antonio) to say I could take it in if I were willing to wait. I spent more time on the phone than I did in the shop. I give 5 stars to the shop.

Great staff, got there way before my scheduled appointment, they didnt make me wait, they fixed my windshield unfortunately the fix didnt work, so had to get a new windshield couple weeks later, the technician who came to my residence was also very professional and on time. Technicians were first class! Quick and courteous. Very much appreciated.Setting up the appointment however was a complete frustrating exoerience. Had to call back multiple times. Missed two appointments that they say was my fault. If the shop i was going to deal with had someone to answer phones instead of call centers hours away, things may have gone smoother.I should have just used a local glass company even if rate was a little more.

Took my vehicle in for a half-dollar sized crack and picked up my vehicle with two cracks instead (one is about 12 inches across, the other is 2 inches). Was never advised the possibility of damage worsening, however, their office manager says differently. Will never use their services again.

Showed up to my appointment and informed me that they did not have the correct glass. I set my appointment a week ahead of time and specified my vehicle and features yet they still ordered the wrong glass. Now they will try to fit me in when they get the correct glass in.Edit: Thanks for your response but Im still waiting on my windshield and the crack keeps spreading.

They missed their first appointment. 8am to 12pm window and they called me at 12:30 to say they weren’t coming. Rescheduled for the next day. The technician showed up and did what seems to be an acceptable job on the glass replacement. Then his manager showed up and started “helping” him. Manager said they were done and handed me the keys. Manager then says they weren’t able to clean up all the glass because of my seat cover. I said I’d cut it off. He said they needed a better vacuum and I should go to a car wash. But not to worry because he had cleaned the bed and 95% of the glass in the cab was gone. Lies. He barely touched the bed. There were mounds of glass in the cab. The seats were never moved. Glass all over my driveway. I’ve been cleaning it up with my little shop-vac (more than powerful enough to do the job btw). I can live with bad service but you shook my hand and lied to my face. This vehicle was not safe to put my kid in. Thanks a lot you liar.

I needed to have my windshield replaced on my ram 1500. Scheduled a mobile appointment and the appointment was scheduled for next day service. Alex was the technician who came to my home and did a fantastic job. He was courteous and professional and had my windshield replaced in about an hour. Cant even tell that the windshield was replaced. Its Raines almost every day since my windshield was replaced and no leaks. I am a very satisfied customer.

Was driving from Austin to Corpus for a family event and something managed to hit and shatter our drivers side passenger window as we were driving into town. We got in about 4:30PM and were able to schedule for Safelite to come out next day and replace the window. Alex was our repair guy and he cleaned up the shattered glass and replaced the window within about 20 min. He was very nice and courteous and did a great job. It was also nice that he called about an hour in advance since they originally told us sometime between 12 and 5. No problems with the new window thus far.

It took them four visits to actually replace my glass, they couldnt order the correct glass. And they missed 4 visits they had scheduled that they never showed or called. While I did receive a discount for all the trouble, it took a good 6 weeks and the glass cracked from the edge less than a week after replacement. They told me it wasnt their fault. How thats possible I dont even know. So unhappy.

The staff were very competent and thorough but did have to return the next morning to recover my radio antenna they forgot to replace. All in all, they did a good job at a fair price. Worst service I have ever received. Im not exaggerating, and Im not easily upset. Took a month and a half to get my windshield fixed correctly. Countless phone calls not returned. Wasted hours of my time and money. My review would be 10 pages long if I told you all the ways they wronged me. Read all the other bad reviews, they are completely accurate. Matthew did an awesome job with my windshield repair. There was a disconnect with the appointment time when I called Safelite’s main number but he worked around my schedule to accommodate me. He called me two times making sure that I was okay for the repair service. He again called me when he got outside the military gate to give me his status. He vacuumed the interior of the vehicle and cleaned all the windshield and windows. He explained to me the repair procedure before he started. This is the second home service that I received from Safelite in over a year for two different vehicles and both times, the technicians Loyd and Matthew delivered outstanding work performance, very pleasant attitude and customer service. I highly recommend this facility!!!

I recently had to replace my windshield and called a few companies for pricing. I selected Safelite and was pleased with the service. They sent me a text with a picture of the technician who was scheduled to arrive prior to the on-site installation. Horrible job! I went to get 2 very minor rock chips repaired. It is very noticeable to where the repairs were done PLUS my windshield took on extra damage from the repair. I was out of town when I noticed another chip a few days later. Fortunately I decided to get it repaired at a local shop & they did such a flawless job (for half the price) you could never tell where the chip impacted my windshield. On that note Safelite will never receive my business again!
