I went to this place to buy a reusable bag. The bag was 1.49 but at the register they add another 50 cents for a donation. I told her a donation is by definition voluntary. She told me it’s a mandatory donation. You don’t pay the donation you don’t get the bag. I asked her what is this charity I’m donating by force to? She said Wounded Nature. I asked what is it. She said” I have no idea”. One thing for sure, I am never going back

Most prices are not the same as advertised on the web site. Wouldnt be a problem if the prices were only off by a coupe cents it so. But what I bought was off.by multiple dollars. I did correct the car and show them the price they advertised. It took time, but they adjusted it.

Great customer service but party supplies are not what they used to be. Had to visit a second store to get everything I needed.

Staff at the timr was amazing they helped me find everything we needed for our gender reveal.

Bought a bandanna for my dog for wedding photos, it didnt even go around his neck. I still had the recite, the packaging and the item and they wouldnt take it because it wasnt still attached, but it literally still had the tag ties. I would have even taken store credit but they gave me an attitude and didnt even try to resolve the issue. Very disappointed being this is the only party store in corpus besides walmart. I guess Ill be shopping there next time. 🤬😡😡

Some of the items I ordered for my grand-daughters party were out of stock. To my grateful surprise, they had put some additional trinkets at no extra charge. GReat customer service!

Good store for party and holiday decorations. They have many themed items. The store is filled with plates, napkins, tableware and decorations in every color imaginable! Pricing is reasonable. Gift wrapping items are also available. This is my go to place for party supplies. Dont forget the balloons!

This place is a one stop shop for and party occasion. Love this place. Also best place to go to get the kids costumes. Prices are very reasonable.

So had an order for just a dozen orange balloons for my wifes birthday. I picked them up on Friday at 4pm they were ready at 3pm. We were celebrating her birthday on Saturday. So I set everything up as soon as she went to bed, we woke up at 5am and the balloons were no longer floating. Still full of air but not enough helium to stay floating for more than 13 hours. The balloons were not filled even remotely close to their capacity, I picked them up and they were smaller than anticipated. Will not recommend this store or go here ever again.

Wont air up balloons if they are not purchased in the store. Even though they dont have the particular balloons to purchase in the first place, had them special ordered. Just air them up and charge me!!! Its for my kids birthday party for crying out loud. Have a heart.

This place is horrible. I ask the supervisor Monnique to help me find something and she stated, if it’s not on the shelf then we don’t have it. You are a supervisor, you should act more professional than that. You could have easily helped me but instead you would rather stand in the front and chit chat with the other girls. I will never go back to party city ever again. I usually do all of my kids birthday shopping there, NEVER AGAIN. I would have given 0 stars if I could.

For the Love of God please prepair at least one fitting room when Halloween is coming up, we had to try our costumes in the bathroom and manager was not gonna let my 9 year son go with me in the bathroom so i can help him with his costume to zip it up and stuff. How would a 9 year old change in the bathroom by himself and zip his costume from the back alone.This manager must not have kids.... We spend $97 that day, awesome costumes, not awesome customer service. Be glad we shop there and we have money.

This store employees some of the most heartless people I have ever seen.if you have a special moment or a memorial to go to dont go there for balloons and other things they will treat you with lots of disrespect. I will never shop in that store again. I had to put one star just to be able to post this what they deserve zero

Went looking for my granddaughters costume and they had it and the accessories! We were in and out in 15 minutes.

Very frustrating when I order something online and it says they have multiple in stock to find out they have none. Then have to order online to pay another fee for shipping and that takes longer than it said online.

I ran in to buy decorations for my daughters class and Justin approached me and asked if I needed any help. I did he helped me pick out kid friendly decorations even helped with a coupon when I asked him if any available!!! Give Justin a raise he went above and beyond to help me out !!! Thanks Justin!!!

I called and asked if they did gender reveal balloons. The girl on the phone was very nice and went and got pricing for me and told me they had kits and a gender reveal section. I asked if they could fill the balloons for us since we didn’t know what we were having if they would take the envelope and fill it with the appropriate confetti and we pick it up later? She said yes they would do that. I was happy and said i would be there shortly. Me and my husband got there and the girl that was working the balloons had an attitude and wasn’t very helpful at all. She proceeds to tell me that i would have to buy the balloons and stuff them myself with confetti and then she would fill them with helium... I’m like uh what? That would defeat the purpose of the reveal.... anyways she offered no other solution and you would think that a party place that sells all sorts of balloons would offer this service or at least have some sort of balloon for a gender reveal already ready. Anyway i called a friend she came and stuffed the balloons for us and they didn’t have the confetti for one of them so she separated by hand the confetti color that she needed and when the girl told her the balloons were ready one of them looked really deformed and like it was going to pop. She asked the girl if it was fine and she said yes and my friend asked her are you sure this balloon can not pop before the reveal and the girl told her it would be fine. Put the balloons in the car and the balloon pops! She’s goes back inside to tell the girl and the girl wants to charge her for a new balloon!!! Like seriously!?!! In the end she didn’t have to pay for the new balloon but she still had to buy new confetti and separate it again and refill the new balloon and wait for them to blow it up. They offered her no help in separating the confetti or giving her new confetti to fill the new balloon. If you don’t like your job or your having a bad day don’t take it out on people who shop there. Customer service is everything and it was definitely not there that day. If that girl is working balloons again I’ll definitely just walk out.

IT IS WAY TOO HOT IN THIS STORE. PARTY CITY REALLY NEEDS TO FIX THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. EVERY TIME I GO IN I HEAR A LOT OF COMPLAINTS COMING FROM THE CUSTOMERS. THIS IS NOT A SUITABLE WORKING CONDITION FOR PARTY CITY EMPLOYEES, NOR IS IT AN INVITING SETTING FOR LOYAL CUSTOMERS. I NOTICED THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE WOULD ENTER THE STORE AND IMMEDIATELY TURN THEIR BUSINESS AWAY, DUE TO THE HUMIDITY IN THE STORE. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO ENSURE THAT CUSTOMERS ARE RECEIVING EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE IN A DECENT BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT.

Its a party city. Theres not much else to say. I found the frozen balloons I needed and got them filled at the store. It seemed to take forever to fill them but Im sure that was just my desire to get out of there. They didnt have exactly what I was looking for but I was able to get something that worked. Spent about $30 there.

Don’t shop at Party City! Not only are their prices marked wayyy up, they sell stuff for full price and then refuse to allow customers to return it. I purchased an elf headband on Monday along with some other holiday items, ALL items were full price. I went to the store on Saturday to return the headband and they would let me, saying the last day to return holiday items was Tuesday. No one ever said anything abt that when I purchased it, and there are no signs indicating this ridiculous return policy. Never coming here again.

I am very upset about the order I just placed. Thank goodness I called to confirm because I ordered the word friendsgiving and they did not gave an I or D but were fully planning on giving me every other letter. They also advertised that they were stocked in arches, which was also wrong, but would they have let me know? No. Along with that, they literally hung up on me. I am planning a corporate work meeting and this should not be tolerated. Fake advertising!

I would always go in there for cards of all occasions. They were always .99. Now only a selection is and you really dont know unless you go to the counter and do a price check. Too much hassle. I first took three cards to the counter thinking they were all .99. they rang up to be like $23.smh....ugh no thanks.

I took a picture to show everyone but I guess Google doesnt let you post pictures to reviews. I got 10 regular helium balloons filled at party City for about $12 I believe. They deflated within 10 hours. They are now sitting in the floor. Meanwhile I got some dollar tree balloons 7 days ago that are still at the ceiling, floating just fine with just slightly noticably less helium. I also have an HEB balloon I got at the same time as the party City balloons that is still complete full and at the ceiling like I had just bought it. Party City is over rated and over priced. If you want good balloons go to Dollar tree or heb. The manager did seem nice and offered to replace one of my balloons after I called and complained about it already deflating as soon as I got in the car, it wasnt tied good at all. Some of the employees couldnt care less about your questions and act like youre stupid for asking them. Overall terrible experience.Update: I was trying to make my son laugh so I untied one of the party City balloons and inhaled it to get a high squeaky voice, I inhaled almost the whole balloon and my voice was completely normal. No audible difference at all. I dont know whats going on with party City, if theyre using air or WHAT- but Ill never go back.
