Took a brand new 2021 Tesla Model 3 for window tint left with tint and a new giant scratch in the paint. Right above the rear driver side door so I can see it everytime I get in. They did nothing to accommodate the scratch and denied causing it. I wouldnt bring my vehicles here at least not if you care about them.

Had my 2021 Tahoe done. These guys have been doing my cars for years, and friends. Excellence is something they always stay to and always seen them work good with customers give them a try you wont be disappointed.

Got a full ceramic tint. They did a great job! Little on the pricy side and price compares to competitors. In my case it was the same price. Either way, I’d recommend them.

Tinted over a week ago and bubbles are starting to form on the back window. Additionally, the shade level of the tint isnt what I anticipated given my conversation when I dropped it off. Owner touts legality of darker tints while hosting plenty of trucks with darker tint. Not even going to bother with what is now a he said she said. Saving my money and taking my other truck else where.Recommendation: Make sure to document what level of tint you requested.

Very professional, honest, and upfront with you. They do everything they can to make it right. Would definitely recommend TX Excellence to everyone.

Texas Gold Package ($90)Interior was not cleaned, steering wheel had a lot of dirt and so did the dashboard, there were still smudges on the rear view mirror, it wasnt cleaned properly, do yourself a favor and go buy $30 worth of cleaning supplies at Walmart and clean it yourself. A waste of time and money.

I had tint installed from this place and Far Beyond Tint & Alarm and the difference is significant. This place left plenty of air bubbles in the tint, took a long time to install, and left water stains all over the serviced areas. Far Beyond was fast, left no mess, and no air bubbles. The price was no more expensive either.

I have nothing good to say about Texas Excellence. Dont waste your time and money.

I wanted to get my new Jeep protected with PPF. I decided to give Texas Excellence a try and I’m glad that I did. The staff there has gone above and beyond for me. I highly recommend them for any work that you might want done to your vehicle.

They need to be more organized. Took my trucks in for window tint, no deals for two vehicles. Once my trucks were ready I had to bring out their installer to show them all the areas not completed or the fact they used dirty water to clean some of the windows.Also, I had a co-worker recently get tint installed on his front windows and he noticed a very noticeable scratch mark through the center of the tint. How do you say this job was done right and call the customer to come pick up.If you decide to utilize this place for detailing or window tint services be aware you will need to thoroughly do an inspection of their work. Basically, for the money your spend for any service they provide this organization should QC their own work to ensure customers will be happy.

A friend recommended Texas Excellence, took my SUV to get a full detail and window tint. I called on Friday and they were able to get the car in on Monday of the following week. I had just bought the car used and wanted the interior shampooed ( to get the “used” car smell out) when I went to picked up my car it was more than what I expected. When they say full detail they mean it! I was surprised at how fast they got both tint and the detailing completed. I am not one to write reviews but considering the experience I had at Texas Excellence Detail this morning I felt I absolutely needed to. My car was keyed last week and I was in the process of getting different quotes to have my car hood repaired. The prices I was quoted ranged from $600 up to $1500. My boss Joe Adame has always spoken very highly of Texas Excellence Detail and he suggested I bring my car to them. I took my car in to Texas Excellence this morning and right away the young lady at the desk whose name was Jessica got someone to help me and immediately a gentleman I believe by the name of David who I believe is the owner came out to take a look at my car himself. After looking at my car he explained the options I had available to repair it and he took my car to the back and within 50 minutes or so he called me to the back and showed me the progress that had made on my car so far. It was absolutely amazing!! The guys that work there are highly, highly professional and they are courteous and they’re respectful. The film that had been damaged was replaced right then and there and my car looks beautiful. Just like nothing had happened to it! And it was under $300! I couldn’t be happier with the results. If you have anything that needs to be done to your vehicle whether it’s detailing, painting, bodywork, window tinting or even an oil change, Texas Excellence Detail and Tint is this is the place you want to bring your vehicle to !! If I could give zero stars I would. This business is trash. Went there to get my carpet on my SUV replaced. First they told me the work would be done In a week or 2 tops and I didn’t get my car back for over a month. I consistently called checking on the status of my vehicle and they said they don’t have any carpet and they would call me when it’s done. Never giving me any kind of time frame. And the staff were always very rude like they were annoyed of my calling and asking about my car. I should have been the one annoyed because I wasn’t getting any answers. After I finally got my car back the carpet was clearly lifting at the edges and very loose all around. When I asked about these issues the owner told me that the carpet will set within the next couple weeks and not to worry about it. I don’t know how carpet installs work so I took his word for it. Well after a month the carpet still wasn’t set. When I reached out to the owner to ask about them fixing it because The carpet never set, he stated they are not liable for what happens to the carpet after it leaves their place of business and if I wanted it fixed I would have to pay for it again!!! Absolute terrible customer service and very poorly ran business. They are Just out to get over on you and make as much money as possible at any cost, even screwing over their paying customers and clearly I’ll never give them my business again. And you shouldn’t ether.

David and his team are simply the best! The service he and his team brings is beyond phenomenal. I work long hours and just couldnt make it during his normal hours of operation, so he sent someone to not only pick up my vehicle for its tinting needs, but also had it dropped back off way before I needed it to return home. They turned my old baby into a brand new ride! I could not be more thankful!

They have the most professional and courteous staff that I’ve dealt with in a long time. These guys aren’t just your average Corpus chop, they know what they’re doing and do good quality work at quality time as well! Both the girls in the front were kind, courteous, and managed to fit me into their busy schedule. I called about 30-45mins prior to me showing up and they were about 30 minutes from closing and they still let me get tint done, which wasn’t a lot anyways it was just an eyebrow but even though they were about to close they still managed to fit me in and I would not hesitate to send more work to them! Went over to get a quote on my Chevy truck. Jessica helped me and a coworker on a scratch that ran from passenger door,all the way back to rear fender. Called on a Wednesday morning, was told to come in anytime that day for detail and window tint. Drove there on my lunch break only to be told they’re short staffed and aren’t accepting anymore customers. The manager promised to pick up the vehicle from my employment the next day and return it by 5p. He made well on the promise to pick up, but his guys didn’t return my vehicle until almost 5:40p - I missed a 5:30p appointment I’d scheduled. It gets better, the tint on the driver door had a bubble that was going nowhere. Completely annoyed at this point I simply took the vehicle to Mo’s to have the tint stripped and redone. I requested a refund from Texas Excellence - still haven’t received that...I doubt I will. Never again!

Used their location located on Carancahua to get my SUV detailed and went with high expectations based on experience from people at my work who had used them. I dropped off my car early in the morning 8:30 am and did not expect it to take all day to be worked on. Barely got done when I left work at 4:30 pm. And they did a decent job. There were still bug marks on my windshield and on my mirrors. And I had to remove water marks and dirt marks on the side doors after driving in it because of left over/excess water and the tire shine. And that is because I was told excess water would not be a problem as they use a blower and that is why I took it early in the morning...to give it time to dry. When I have to touch up my car at home after paying for a “professional” to do it, that is not acceptable. I have high expectations especially because I know how I detail my vehicle at home and when they promote they are the best in town and vacuum the way it should be done.....there are still grass particles in the inside of my car. I do a better job at home with 3 hours. Doesn’t matter how busy you are, you should do your job right and not rush. Don’t take on more than you can handle within your work hours to ensure you properly take care of your customers. Needless to say, I will not use them again and if asked if I recommend them, I would say get a time estimate of when it will be completed and inspect your vehicle before leaving to ensure they cleaned it properly.

Had a wonderful experience when I tinted my windows and even asked for a quote on another vehicle for a shampoo and wash which was very reasonable. When I returned and the told the lady at the front the quote I was given she said they didn’t do what I wanted at that price. She asked me if I knew the name of the guy that gave me a quote and with my luck of course I didn’t know. I wish she would’ve been a little more courteous and helped me look for the gentleman that gave me a quote but she was very short. I was very happy to return because of the outstanding service I had received the first time but was very disappointed on my second visit and had to leave.

I had my 96 dodge window tint replaced the other day, when I called for a quote the lady didnt ask if there was already film on the windows. So I showed up and got a much larger quote of course, I can understand that. The only reason I skipped the last star is because Im still finding bits of the new film all through the two seat cab. The windows/tint are fantastic, just the cleanup needs more attention.

I just wanted to say that they did an tint on my Explorer. They are very courteous and friendly. I was given care instructions for my tint and there was plenty of seating for waiting. They even provide you with a television and magazines while you wait. That guy who just posted that review........well what can I say but that he wasnt being very honest. I take my vehicle in for cleaning every 2 or 3 weeks and they do let me know that they will have it by the end of the day. I send all of my family and they have all been satisfied with their vehicles.

David and his crew did an excellent job on my new 2019 Honda Civic Hatchback. Very quick and professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for window tint and professional detailing.

They said my truck would look like it was brand new when they got through with it. I had an appointment for a full detail, 3 hrs later and they did not do a good job cleaning my interior. It was empty as I just bought it used from the dealership and after a full detail from the dealership and a full detail from Texas excellence, its not clean. You can do a better job doing it yourself. Save the 💰.

Omg!! What a day!! i feel so bad for the guy working at the front counter here. His day must have been totally ruin by an ungrateful customer. She just kept questioning his knowledge about what service she wanted done. I wanted to just get up and explain to her that he was the professional and that he knew exactly what he was doing. Poor guy was so frustrated but he sure was patient with her as he repeatedly answered the same question she was asking over and over again. After about 15 mins of her asking the same question he finally just told her to #@!&##@ just leave the shop. I was so happy he did that because at that point, i would have done it for him. But i must say these guys did an amazing job detailing my car and my tint looks awesome. Thanks for making my day a wonderful day Texas Excellence!!!

They treat you like family, the work they did on the car was amazing. We have a long haired dog, so fur gets everywhere in the car. I couldnt find any pet hair, just quickly looking around the floor boards.

Great shop to bring your truck to get all those additional, personal touches. So far TE has done my Armadillo Liner, WeatherTech mats, window tinting, appearance protection application and installation of a truck bed tool box. They have performed all these tasks in an outstanding manner. Next items are undercoating and a little stereo system upgrade (actually, not a little upgrade, it is a total stereo overhaul). I wouldnt go to anyone else.

Tint job is AWESOME and it was done sooner than expected. Im planning on having them install my alarm soon.

Ive had three vehicles tinted there, they did an awesome job on two, I will have to return to get the third one redone. Not a good job, they may have done it in a hurry, nonetheless it has to be redone.

Took my Nissan Titan XD to have the front 2 windows tinted get my truck back water spots all over my leather seats standing water in the door handles and in my window controls on both doors don’t take your vehicle here for any reason! They treated my 70k dollar truck like it was a junk yard car!

I do have to admit that my first time going to get my Windows tinted here did not go liked I would have hoped it would of. When I came back with my complaints the owner David has gone above and beyond to make me and my family happy with everything. I really do appreciate the type of hospitality my family and I were shown there!!!

I had an alarm system installed in my truck this past week and I could not be happier. First off, with a busy schedule I was concerned about taking a day off of work or having a friend pick me up, they took care of me with class. After dropping my truck off they immideatly gave me a ride back to work, when they were done with the install they also picked me up from work. The alarm works flawlessly and I couldnt be a happier customer. Thank you Texas Excellence.

When they say “an hour and a half” that is actually code for “until we close” or “it’s almost done” (but haven’t even started)... Looking on the bright side, I guess now I know where NOT to go for the rest of my truck stuff.

Paid for the Texas Complete Full Detail. Had to come back a second day for the exterior to be finished. On the second day, I was told (spoke with Terry), we can not work on your car if you leave the store and when I asked if she knew approximately how long it would be, she told me, no, i dont really know. I was forced to stay at the store for about 45 minutes waiting for someone to be available to START washing the car and then the ENTIRE time my car was being worked on (almost 3 hours total time).Recommend going elsewhere (sorry, I dont like to be so negative).The paragraph about was posted initially and then the following was posted after the owners response to clarify my side of the story:Friday April 6th: At 7am, me and my boyfriend (his car) took everything out of the car (except for stuff in the glove compartment) so it was basically an empty car (empty trunk as well). Im not sure what is considered a dirty car as that is subjective but in my opinion the car is always kept relatively clean and almost all my friends compliment how clean the car is (mainly because one of my pet peeves is a dirty car). The store opened at 8am and my boyfriend called within 3 minutes of the store opening. He asked about the Texas Complete Full Detail and the current wait. He informed the person he had to leave to go out of town at 3pm. The person he spoke to said there was no wait right now and the detail usually takes 4-6 hours depending on how dirty the car is which meant we should have the car back by 12:30-2:30pm (this is what we were told). We immediately got in the car and dropped it off which took less than 5 minutes to get there (to show Im not exaggerating, Google Maps has the driving distance from the Island Villa Apartments to Texas Excellence Detail as 2 minutes). We dropped off the car and left. I dont want to lie so I honestly cant remember if we called while waiting. Around 2pm, we started to get worried so we went back (the walk took about 15 minutes). When we got there, the lady at the front desk (who was very nice) told us the inside was done but it would take another 45 minutes to finish the outside. We told her we couldnt wait and had to leave and she very kindly told us to come back when we got back to town. When I got back the car, about 2 or 3 spots had clearly been missed but the inside was adequately clean.My boyfriend was out of town for a while and when he came back, he had to leave again for work. On May 14th, we called in the morning to ask if we could still bring in the car for the exterior to be cleaned since it had been over a month. We were told yes but they were too busy that day but could come later that week (we appreciate you honoring the full detail despite the lapse in time).Tuesday May 22nd: I went to drop off the car like I had previously. I gave the lady at the front (Terry) my phone number and car key and told her I was going to come back when the car was done but she told me I had to take my car key with me if I was going to leave. I asked if I couldnt come back when the car was ready and she said I would lose my spot in line if I left. When I asked if she knew approximately how long it would be, she told me, no, i dont really know. I waited about 45 minutes for someone to be available to START washing the car and then the ENTIRE time my car was being worked on (almost 3 hours total time). After I got back the car, the exterior was semi cleaned. Once again, there were clearly missed areas (the windshield was half cleaned at best) and the hood had multiple scratches.

I use Google for everything, and ironically, what stuck out was a bad review. I was searching around wanting to get my windows tinted and car detailed. Im heading over to Texas Excellence right now because they seem like a real honest and down to earth company and what made me decide this was I looked into this a bit more as a concerned customer. Josh Nelson, the customer that posted a weak review on Texas Excellence, works for Best Choice windshield repair, and is related or affiliated to a lady that works at the Carspa- Mrs. Cummings, that is affiliated with Far Beyond Tint. And its sad that at the exact same time, Josh posted a 5 star review of Far Beyond, he posted a 1 star review on Texas Excellence. Looking further into this, the lady worked for a lube shop here in Corpus, not to mention a name, so it looks like the competition tried to flat weed the little guy. And it seems as though this underdog, has very satisfied customers. Must be for a reason. Ill repost later today, to give you an honest assesment of their work. Okay folks. I picked up my car today. I was floored!!! The tint looks great!!! No bubbles!!!! Totally seamless installation. As for the detailing, these guys got into cracks that i would not have thought possible to get to. I had scratches, that were taken out. Seriously, the car looks better than when I first bought it!!!!! I definitely got my moneys worth, and more. The owner was very helpful, and his guys did a great job. Im going back for an undercoat!!! I recommend this place to all.

2 FRONT WINDOWS TINT FILM REMOVAL & REINSTALL 2 FRONT WINDOW TINT TO 35%PROS: The establishment is clean and neat, the owner/staff are extremely friendly and respectful. The supplies they use are the industries mid-high to high quality standards.CONS: Called a day prior, was scheduled at 830AM, to get vehicles film stripped prior to arrival of 900AM crew that install new film. Arrived on time vehicle was taken to work area at 900AM.Given a 2 hour completion time, the task was completed at 118PM, almost 4.5 hours; 2 hours more than the initial assesment. Was told the delay was caused by the film removal process, that it is complicated to remove the film its time delayed process. (I have done window film installation/removal at home/auto never took 2 hours per window).It is a detailing shop, I expected attention to detail and didnt get it. BLACK Trucks mirrors, paint, windshield and door upholstery were oversprayed (Soapy water) the overspray was not cleaned, it streaked off mirrors, door paint(BLACK) and door upholstery. Was really fun removing it with our 100 degree weather the overspray was dry and stuck to the paint, it had sat atleast a few hours on the paint, had to buff out.Cleaniness, excess film and a single edge blade was left on the trucks carpet floor, I returned their blade and cleaned the excess film myself to leave ASAP, had already lost 4 hours of my day!!OVERALL: Drop vehicle off do not wait, if you do wait make sure you get a strict commitment and hold them to their word. Inspect your vehicle before you pick it up, I am sure they will make things right, personally I didnt have 4 more hours on a Saturday to waste and have the faults corrected.
