They have good merchandise to buy. It was hot inside some of the employees seemed like they didnt really wanna be there. Overall could of had a better experience

Not a child friendly place. The music is loud and has a lot of curse words. The staff is immature and unprofessional. Lots of products though. If you have to, get it and run.

In town for a mini vacation with family and grandchildren. Stopped in to see about picking up a souvenir or two. Store has tremendous selection. However, while getting merchandise and going to register store began playing explicit unedited music over the P.A. Completely raw. With my children snd other children in the store. Who in the world decided this? I was in radio so I know the difference between “Hot AC” genre and unedited explicit Hip-Hop and Rap. I paid and left as quickly as possible. If this is acceptable practice for a tourist retail location then as a society we truly have fallen to the lowest common denominator.

We went in the late afternoon so it was very hot. Selection was pretty nice. Prices were a little higher than the other 2 within a block (I guess cause its the closest to the hotels?) There were more employees following customers around the store than asking if customers if they needed help or had questions.

The music played in this place is not family friendly. I do not want my nine year old daughter listening to ice cube and the profanity and filth of the selection of music blasted from the speakers over the store. The selection of items in this place was decent of coarse very over priced like much of these places.

They have some neat designs you can add to a blank shirt and make it your own but the shop aisles are a bit crowded but they do have a good variety of beach items.

Great place for parking. You go upstairs and pay $5 and place the receipt on your dash. Its located so close to the USS Lexington and restaurants. We parked here a couple times during our week vacation.

Vega was an awesome sales associate who did his best to have an adult size decal fit on my sons xs shirt. It looked perfect!! He loved it!

If youre looking for a gift shop and parking thats conveniently by the beach, stop by Palace Beachwear!We got these awesome decaled shirts. That seems to be a staple of this beach community because its honestly exactly like the stores at South Padre Island which Ive been to before. North Padre Island is just a 30 minute drive from here, so you can get trinkets that say Corpus and ones that say Padre Island all in the same day.Now, I will admit that the customer service was excellent, the cashier was very cool to make small talk with and they let you try on the clothes before you buy.The reason I dont give this place the full five stars is that it seemed very cookie cutter. On our vacation we visited two other gift shops that had, what appeared to be, more original works. I will try to review those on here as well.All in all, Palace is a very nice place for a customized t-shirt, some vacation attire, and beach essentials. Right by the beach and offers full day parking.

The young girl amaris was really sweet and helpfull, they have amazing selection, kinda pricy and it was VERY hot.

When we placed a reservation we requested 2 queen beds and a rollaway bed. Went back to the front desk and was informed that another agent or office employee did not specify our request because it is separate companies have gotten involved somehow which I think was a scam. It forced us into getting 2 rooms for the night and luckily had or by coincidence sold us the extra room for more money. Since the Palace motel errored it should have been free for the night.I disliked the idea that the motel was blaming the other company involved and vise versa.The maid staff did an awesome job of the clean rooms.If this doesnt get corrected I would not consider this motel.I dont appreciate the false sense of making reservations so I can get the run around when I get there.Fix your problem.

If I could I wouldn’t even leave a star. I went in with my family to purchase a few shirts and souvenirs. When I approached the counter the guy (Julian) working there was very rude when I asked a question about getting something printed on a shirt. Instead of letting me know how things work since I had never been there before. He decided to be rude and tell me he couldn’t “read my mind”. I do not and will not ever recommend this place to anyone. I wish I would’ve read the reviews first because it seems like they are known for having rude employees. DONT GO THERE!!

Its a really neato store! The manager is the awesomest n nicest person in the whole universal galaxy and knows whats up with his floral bucket hat! He showed me all kinds of necklaces and shirts n stuff. Even the Joey the 🐬 at the register in shadez. Talk about the coolest! Conmen. 3 bottles of water at $2 each comes to $9.71 with taxes. Anyone else wouldve paid it up. I pointed out that it should come close to $6. Was billed $6.50 eventually but they didnt acknowledge their mistake. Dont visit.

It was shocking to see a huge confederate flag beach towel as soon as I walked up the stairs to the shop. Throughout the store, there are a few products that reflect this type of ideology. It felt gross to spend money there. I felt bad for the several people of color who worked there. If they would get rid of the hate products, it would be a nice place to buy clothes and other trinkets.

If youre going here for souvenirs, Id have to say the place is lackluster (in comparison to other touristy beach shops in other cities). I felt lucky to find a magnet that I liked with such a limited selection. If youre looking for towels and clothing or a bathing suit, this might be your place.

Only a 1 because I cannot go any lower, asked about a shirt for a 6 month old and was told yeah they have them then was told to go find it myself and then when I wanted to check out the same person would not help just rudely told me to go down the counter where nobody was and he wasnt moving to help so put my items back and walked out. Recommend shopping at any other store around and avoid this place.

I love this Store, the manager was very handsome and friendly, and his employees welcomed me very well. Took a nap on the floor for thirty minutes and they didn’t wake me thankfully, I will come back with my wives one day

Walked in ready to shop until I saw the confederate flag so me and the family left. Visiting the area and see major development on the horizon so hopefully places like this will be modernized or replaced to be more welcoming.

Parked in Front Of This Place. No Signage Anywhere Restricting Parking Or Informing Of A Fee. These Folks Came Out While I Was In My Car, Didnt Say Anything, Waited Till I Left, Tagged my Car and Threatened a $50 USD FINE.

The staff is very friendly & knowledgeable. I took my daughter to get hermit crabs to accompany the 1 she was given, as they are not solitary creatures, and they even helped us find her current hermit a new shell, & determine that it was a female & not a male as we had been incorrectly told. I cant wait to go back for more shopping.

Its a good place but they dont wear masks or use the 6 ft rule.

Staff was extremely courteous and helpful! The prices were reasonable and they had the best selection too!! We also had several Henna tattoos done there as well. Julian did an amazing job on all of them!! And the prices were great too!! We will definitely be shopping there again on our next trip.

Great place to shop, has beer bongs, board shorts, T-shirt printing, etc. Everyone seems to think this place is expensive, but for being right next to the beach, this store is priced competitively. Also the smell people keep talking about was only from hermit crab tank, but I can understand a slight smell from the housing of a living creature, that should be a no-brainer to expect. Staff is super nice, love the store, 10/10.

Lots of shirts and beach towels in this store. Prices are high compared to most other gift shops Ive been in. I didnt have an issue with customer service like others are complaining about. Parking underneath the store costs $5 and is good for the whole day. Good spot to keep your car in the shade.

It was off season. But stock boxes were stacked up everywhere. Blocking aisles. Blocking product. My son of course wants to play in boxes, knock them over. It was annoying. Off season. I get it. Just not sure why its open.Staff was willing to help. Attentive and happy people.

I found exactly what I was looking for, but the place was a little messy at the time that I was there. There workers were stocking items and there were boxes all over the floor, so maybe Id just arrived at a bad time? SUPER friendly staff though!

I highly recommend this store to anyone, prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and hilarious. One of the employees farted out loud and everyone around him laughed then scattered. Another employee seemed to play around with the other employees nipples. To my surprise the employee who farted gave my daughter a really good henna tattoo aswell. I will be visiting this shop on my next vacation!!!

The Bathing Suits Are 70 Dollars In Women And 30 Dollars In Girls And For Swimming Trunks For Men Its 20 Dollars.I Find Those Prices To Be Very Expensive For An Ordinary Bathing Suit Because Think About It,How Many Times Are You Really Gonna Where That Bathing Suit Until You Grow Out Of It.It Would Just Sit In Your Closet For Months Maybe Even Years.But The Place Is Very Cool And Organized Inside So Its Ok But If Your Trying To Save Up And Not Spend,Spend,Spend Then I Suggest Going To A Different Place
