Overall I would have to give this establishment a five stars rating. They have everything you will need for your groceries at great prices even better than your local HEB or Walmart. Plus everything is tax-free because you were on a Navy Base. Only problem is not everybody will have access if you are not military or retired military or a military dependent you will not have access to the base and this establishment is on a Navy facility. Overall I really enjoy shopping there.

This review is mainly for the sushi bar and the deli counter.For the Deli: wow thank you so much for your kindness and delicious sandwiches, it always satisfies!Sushi bar team: Hiromi and Kha (I dont know if I spelled this correctly) are amazing team that make very good sushi. The rice is always done very well and they are always more than happy to make something for you. I wish they had a tip jar because they truly deserve it, they are always very kind. I try to grab something from here frequently before my work night begins. For me this is comfort food and they made it easier for me to get it

Nice atmosphere and very cleaned store. Good prices. Cashier and the employee who bags the grocery are polite and it is very nice that they take your grocery to the car.

Small Commissary when compared to others I have been in. Some items take a long time to get again. The fruit selection is a complete disappointment; they are either rotten or non-existent. Staff is always friendly and that is always a plus.

Very clean and well stocked vegetables and meat counters. Accommodating staff.

The cashiers and baggers are always friendly. I like the quality of the meat there however the vegetable and fruitDepartment is really lacking. The vegetables are usually old and have shriveled skins. The sales on the meat makes a trip to the commissary worth while.

Nice and quiet. They have a large assortment of items and the isles are wide. It was clean too.

Good prices, not a big selection

The Commissary is a very clean and stocked grocery store. It has restrictions on who can shop there. I find prices in line with stores in the city. They offer plastic or paper when checking out and will carry your groceries to your car.

Excellent princes on meat. Good variety of items. Great customer service and the best its just for military.

The produce section is extremely clean and vegetables neatly displayed. The meat section is well stocked and prices are low. A little niche in the wall holds all medicine and vitamins. Frozen foods has a large selection and the bakery/deli is top shelf.

Not a SUPER store in regards to size, but does keep its shelves stocked and caters a wide variety of items. Havent shopped here in a couple years, since I do not live in the area, but each time I visit I can count on the Commissary to have what I need and at a reasonable price. If I lived in the area my main buy would be meat products, because the savings is insurmountable. Staff are always friendly and theres still an option for someone to bag your groceries if youre buying in bulk. Much has left the NAS, but the Commissary has not. THANK YOU!

Prices are reasonable on most items, and great on meat. Vegetables and fruit are improving in quality and freshness but don’t stack up to H‑E‑B.

Small place and dated. Some upgrades or renovations / remodeling would be great. The sushi area is a nice display and fresh. If this can be available to federal employees, more customers would certainly shop here.

Great place to shop only problems are the workers always telling you that you need to get in one line then the other line or if you can not take the basket out.or cutting in front of you when you getting something.

They have a good selection although they are a small commissary but what really sells it for me is the price on their meats and produce. I drive an hour every month just to get my groceries from here and it saves us a lot of money.

Small commissary but a fair amount of choices. The fresh produce is limited but clean. It is next to the Exchange area. They were all friendly.

Prices gone up way ahead of any pay raises. Meat quality is very good, but 5.00 per pound for asparagus and 2.29/ lb for tomatoes is absurd

Whenever I am at the commissary, I make sure to stock up on those items that are much less expensive than out in town. This commissary may be small, but it has plenty packed inside and I am certainly grateful for the lower prices!

Sold us milk that had expired 2 weeks before purchase. Called to inform them and was told Ill go make sure there isnt any more. I did not ask for a refund, but would think the offer would have been made.

The commissary here is small. Not a lot of variety. Produce isnt that great. Meat though is very good and reasonably priced. We buy all of our cleaning products and paper goods there.

This is a very clean store. They have good produce good meats and brands that I cant find at other stores. It is one of the smaller commissaries therefore not as large a selection of brands but good and clean.

Got there a few minutes before closing. Bread, meat tomatoes, was rushed by employees more than once...., then lock the doors, dont let people in 15 mins before closing. Rude rude... i love the commissary dont care for the customer service!

Great small store. They do their best to keep the prices down. I do all my shopping there even if one or two items are the same as off base. Even after tipping the baggers, and surcharge, i still save alot of money.

Ever since they remodeled they no longer carry childrens shoes. Which is very disappointing. Also the womens cloths needs to be more modern and for younger women.

I went here bought several pieces of meat the first one we cooked was a rump roast it had a very weird taste to it real nasty so we trashed it so then we cooked boneless skinless chicken breast it had a weird smell and was like rubbery i thought well maybe it was me but then the kids and my husband said the same thing so we are throwing all the meat we bought from there into the trash and never buy meat again from there we will from now on buy all meats from moody meat market the best town.

I only go there because of my Mother. I dont care for the place. Most everything is out of date. They advertise one price and charge another price. They place out of date coupons on stuff. The produce is always rotten. Most of the employees are rude!
