Staff are really cool and laid-back, without sacrificing customer service. They are not short on knowledge of their products, and seem to take immense pleasure in their job. The guitars are great quality, and are almost always in stock, however in order to sample them, you will have to tune it yourself. If some of the more popular guitars were tuned just before guests were to try them, I would have given five stars. Still an excellent store, nonetheless and I highly suggest and musicians check it out.

I picked up a very nice classical guitar, gig bag and a tuner for less than I expected. The store is a little smaller than normal, but seemed to be fully stocked.

I bought a drum kit yesterday with Progressive Leasing and I am %100 satisfied with my purchase. Shout out to Brandon the drum associate. He exceeded my expectations in helping me picking out the right kit. He is a great individual and a true professional.

Pretty cool. One time one of the workers with the moniker John Cena said yeah that amp is pretty good and that hit deep imo. Would recommend. Also if they talk about a panda, dont believe them. Its another moniker. A LIE! That is one mistake I wish I didnt make.. there is no actual panda in guitar center.

I wanted something a little nicer than the basic Squier starter bass Ive been playing these last few years. I went in to check out a nice midrange Jackson I saw on the website, and their employee Jack was a great help. He was helpful, attentive, and encouraging. He helped me with the guitar, finding a nice case, and the ever-daunting task of selecting a strap. One of the best customer service experiences Ive ever had, particularly in a guitar store.

Im only rating this give stars because of my buddy Brandon who works there and a guy named Jack (regal gentleman who works over in the sound department, i think thats his name). Theyre both always welcoming and friendly and super helpful. Everyone else just kind of stares at me like I have no clue what Im doing. If you visit, ask for Jack or Brandon. I got my first PRS here and it was a pleasure thanks to them.

We are 2 for 2 on finding great deals at Guitar Center. Got a great deal on a tube amp for my older son to take to college. And we just found a great deal on a small tube amp for my younger son for Christmas! Great gear doesnt have to put you in debt thanks to used gear at Guitar Center.

I purchased a 5 piece drum set with the pro coverage. It covers accidential drops, spills and cracks. I accidentally dropped the drums and applied for my insurance. They did not want to pay for them. I bought insurance for nothing they just took my money. Be careful when buying instruments and insurance for them

Went in and everyone was super friendly. Jack was the employee that helped and he was awesome. Great business.

I am disabled, and my friend who was violent in to get new strings on my guitar and to check a tuner I did not even buy from them. They removed old strings, clean guitar surface and installed new strings for me in a short period of time. They did have a door monitor.

How is this place getting good reviews? All it takes is one rude employee to ruin the experience. I asked a question and this female employee did not even bother to make eye contact. She stared at the computer in front of her. Before that she saw me in the parking lot wanting to come in and she locked the door behind me. On top of that they didnt even bother to get the item I requested. Just said not in stock Now wonder people are abandoning physical stores and going online.

Its Guitar Center! You already know. I wish they had more used guitars, and cheaper records. But overall, a fun place to buy new strings and pics.

Took a flute into Guitar Center for a check-up. They were very accommodating; gave it a quick once over, told me they didnt do flutes but nothing looked broken (it had been dropped). He very politely said it needed new pads & I should go to South Texas Music Mart. (Theyre closed on Sun.)Extremely helpful personnel; I did buy mandolin strings. NC for the flute inspection. Ample parking area, too!

Me personally, I have a love for music, and I say music because I truly love every style of music. Even though Im not the musician I once was the love for music is still there. As a former drummer and the occasional guitarist (when work and family duties arent taking all of my time) I still enjoy playing. Guitar Center in Corpus Christi, Texas is always awesome. They have some amazing deals on just about any instrument you can think of. The eployees and always down to help you find anything your looking for and they always have tons of knowledge on the what your looking for. I mean we all gotta start somewhere, because we all know you dont just pick up a instrument and know what to do with it. These guys will always be there to help you and answer any questions you might have. And on top of that I just found out that theyre doing guitar lessons in the store now. I dont know what the prices are at this moment, but I will find out and get back to you guys on that. But in the mean if your interested in getting into music come and check these guys out. From beginner to professional musician this place is there for all your music needs. Thank you guitar center for always being great.

This place has a lot of instruments and accessories. My kids and I love going when we need something from there. They love trying different instruments that the store has set up there. They are super nice there and dont mind you trying things out!!!! Always helpful and try their best to get you what your asking for. Go check it out 👍!!!!

If you looking for employees that have little to no enthusiasm about there work, work place and products then this is the place for you. Outside getting your basics in equipment, its a great place to shop at for new and young players. If you want a staff that talks down to you when you dont know what your looking for or jokes behind your back and wishes to get back on there cell phones as quick as possible, this is your store. Manager Bryan Garcia is the one to work with though he is not a salesman. The Sales manager Richard Prado, while being accommodating, will belittle you in front of his subordinates while putting you down indirectly but direct enough you can hear him talking about you and any number of customers that come through the doors. The Repair Tech Chris is a top notch guy and will never lead you the wrong direction. 100% solid dude.

This place is there great place if you love music. They have majority really good brands from speakers 2 keyboards to acoustics cables mix boards and if they dont have it, they will order it for you. The best thing that I love is they handled their job with professionalism. I highly recommend this place.

The store is set up nicely, but I had to find someone in the piano section to help me find what I needed. These were not piano related. Literally one person spoke to us and that was the person that I confronted for help. Then we waited an additional 10-15 min just to check out. The actual adult of the facility was most helpful and reliable. He would have assisted us on buying our stuff but I was still browsing. There was at least eight to nine additional employees there and we didnt even get a hello. Finally a young lady helped us check out after standing there forever. The place wasnt that busy.

I play guitar and this place always has what i need and the employees know the products well. Best time to shop are during holidays when they have specials. Just wished it wouldnt always be a 15% discount but for me its the place to shop.

My experiences vary at this store. Its sometimes difficult to get anybodys attention, other times Ive had knowledgeable staff that were attentive. The folks in the pro shop have been good, so if you need help walk back to the counter in the room with the keyboards etc. This store does have a good selection of instruments and accessories, so if youre a musician you should stop by.

I like going in to Guitar Center as soon as you walk your are Greeted like if you where family and service is sweet they are there help you.

Walked in, all the way to the back, employees just playing on their cell phones. Would be nice to get acknowledged. Was in there for 45 min and left. No one ever walked up to me. I made a bunch of noise on purpose and they didnt even look up from their cell phones.
