I just left this shop and had the best experience. Josh was very patient and informed!! Im a first time buyer and Josh made me feel so welcomed and answered all of my questions, even the silly ones, but not once did he make me feel like my questions were silly. Im so excited to have linked up with this shop. Ive gone into a few other shops and the looks I got alone let me know they werent for me. None of that foolishness was found here. Im really looking forward to my first class with them and future use of their range. Shoutout to Eric as well!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!

Their are better places to buy guns in corpus but the staff are nice and helpful and they have comfortable chairs to wait. range fees seem reasonable if on the higher side. Had an optic installed here took like 3 days but the work was of quality so no complaints. 4 stars because not as much selection as other stores. Building is also an eyesore and should have never been allowed to be built as it stands.

This is a pretty good gun shop.It is definitely worth checking out.Indoor range.Lots of gear.Books, kits, ammo, classes, all the goodies are also available here.Pro tip: Pay for your lane and your targets up front, if you don’t it is easy to wonder out without paying your tab and leaving your ID at the register.

Made my 1st gun purchase G19 (technically 2nd, purchased .380 off my father) here at the sharpshooter. Christian, Eric, and Danny (I think?) were all super friendly and very knowledgeable. They helped me out a couple times free of charge. I needed a hex key to replace batteries on a laser and helped me pick out a red dot that would be compatible with my gun. This is the only range I’ve been too and I have no reason to go anywhere else. Thanks to all the staff that works there!

Had them install a scope and sight my gun in only to have them jack up my scope rings and not mount the scope correctly to the gun. What a waste of $60.

If some one wants to shoot 50 rounds they have to pay 20$ thats alot for two same lane would be much more affordable to some of us who dont have 30$ for two people to just shoot once a blue moon and 50-100 rounds max. 😓

I was inquiring about the ear plugs and gun cleaning which was shown on the website. The staff who answered was very short and direct with me, even though I was only asking their protocol. Almost as if he was implying he did not care for the workload involved. I still love the store but know y’all can do way better than that for other customers.

Let me start with this, LIFETIME WARRANTY on any gun you buy from them. I had a problem with a spring in my shotgun, the manufacturer wouldn’t take care of the problem. The sharpshooter had no problem stepping up to the plate and fixing it for free. I highly recommend the sharpshooter and it’s friendly staff for any gun enthusiast..

Moved out of state a little over 3 years ago (PA) and i still tell people about this place...i used to love to come here with my kids and shoot...i also took my texas carry class here...i will be traveling to corpus in December and will be bringing some of my guns (and kids) for the range...hopefully covid dont ruin it for me and the range is closed...here in PA its so hard to find an indoor range...i have a membership with a gun club and even though its a great place with friendly staff its not the sharpshooter...i bought my first gun there and still have it...always friendly service and great memories...

Joshua and the rest of the staff were very helpful. Bought a new Glock at a great price, good selection, even during Covid. No ammo, though.

Amazing customer service. Went in to get sights fixed on a pistol and they helped me out as well as taught me better grip so my firing is more accurate. For military personnel like myself they offer military Mondays so I highly recommend you stop by. Whether its to blow off some steam, practice your shooting, or just for fun sharpshooter is the place to do all of that.

They are so great here. Even when it was half an hour before close they let us stop by to shoot real quick. It’s a great facility and the staff is always nice and willing to help. They make you feel like a valued customer and want you to get the best experience you can. If you haven’t used this range before you should!

First visit here was this past Sunday. Bryan was very helpful with explaining and helping me choose a scope for my at (first time at owner). And even helped to make sure I understood how to sight it in. Range was nice, only thing I would say is for them to put up distance markings so you know what distance your shooting at. I know it’s only a 50 yard range but would be nice at least have a more exact knowledge of where your shooting at distance wise.

Great business! The folks inside helped me shake off 16 years of non-shooting rust and got me back to proficient and knowledgeable with a firearm. Safety is their number one goal and I now feel like I can safely handle the tool myself. Highly recommend any class they offer!

Just got done purchasing a Nikon Prostaff5 from Bryan. From the moment I walked in Bryan and Pate were very attentive to what I was needing to purchase. Bryan was able to answer all of my questions to my satisfaction, they were not pushy on something I did not need. The scope was mounted and bore sighted on my 270 very quickly and I was on my way in less than an hour. Highly recommend the Sharp Shooter for your needs.

Very fun experience. We had a large group (kids and adults) with minimal to no experience with firearms. We each were shown how to handle a pistol safely and got to shoot a few rounds at a target. Our instructor (Josh) was very patient and friendly.

Isnt the gun range a place to learn how to shoot? Whats the point of the gun range then. They told me i couldnt shoot at the range cuz i never been at a gun range i mean i know how to shoot a gun but i wanted to learn more and got denied

Bryan was awesome! I had never been to a shooting range, and had only shot a gun a few times before. So I wasn’t sure what to expect. He spent time with my friend and I making sure we were confident before we went in to shoot. He was very patient with us. I will defiantly be going back! Excellent experience.

I have been going to Sharp Shooters range for years now, mainly for convenience. But never again.I went in yesterday to do some sighting in on a new scope, it is a short range for a .308 bolt, but you can get dialed in well.I was on lane 8, and another gentleman was on 6 with a AR style. I have no problem with Black Rifles, however this guy was doing constant 3-5 bursts from a benched positioned, and from the look of his target he had been at it for a while. Down range you could see sparks on the bullet catch with each round on a couple of his mag changes, as well as a couple of what appeared as ricochets. With my years with firearms, this made me think the guy was firing AP rounds/steel core, which should never be used on steel targets or back drops. So I packed up and left after a few of my own rounds.I attempted to speak with the young man that had checked me in, and was checking me out, however I do not believe he fully wanted to hear the concerns I attempted to share with him. I base this on his flipped attitude, and his remark of as long as he was in shooting in his lane he was safe. This employees attitude really showed a lack of firearm related knowledge, or safety concerns. Which is surprising with the past difficulties Sharp Shooter has had in the past.Never will again will I use or support the Sharp Shooter.

While visiting from out of town, ran in with my mom who was looking for concealed carry help. They gave her great advice and even made her a custom holster with 24 hr turn around so it would be done before we left Corpus to go home. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and not commission based. Highly recommend.

I just went there for the first time. The Staff was proactive in getting the persons, who were there to shoot at the range. The Staff member was respectful, very professional, knowledgeable and very informative. I was underway in less then 5 minutes.All safety signs were posted and easy to read, many good discounts for Firefighters, Police, Military, Veterans, Seniors. Great prices, even without discounts still worth in paying for the hour on at the range and the experience. Friendly members and customers there, so for their prices are great to get some practice shots, test ammo.I had a blast and had no one bother me while I was shooting or helping my son to shoot for the first time. Large selection of weapons, accessories from what I had seen, prices on weapons were decent and they had some on sale, but I was mostly there for the range. I highly recommend there range, I plan on making this my permanent indoor range, because it is also very close to my home.I did see there was many people there for the classes, one on one.......I just want to thank all the Staff for the friendly service I received and promptness to getting me on to the firing range.

Regulars that show up have a good experience because well for one, there isn’t a lot of choices in the area. Staff doesn’t consider veterans or anyone’s history on weapons or even if when explained to staff how hard it is to get back into shooting and needs guidance. Staff or instructors would rather give attitude then try to understand work with anyone. Not a good place for veterans that want to get back into shooting or want a place to shoot.

Awesome experince with these guys. They helped me find a Taurus Public Defender I’ve been wanting for a long time, ordered it and I got it the next week. Easy background check and demonstration on how to use the revolver. They even let me use the range on the house to test it out. Shout out to Chris, that man is awesome. I definitely will be back.

I took a gun safety class with Josh and I HIGHLY recommend him. He addresses the class in such a way that its more like hes talking to friends. He doesnt talk down to anybody and politely adjusts any mistakes made in a way that does not feel condescending. Hes great for anybody needing a refresher or anybody who has never handled a gun before.

Ive only been to Sharp Shooters once or twice in the past but i will definitely become a regular. Couldnt be happier with the over all experience and atmosphere. The employees make it much more then just a shooting range. I purchased a Metro Arms 45 cal. 1911 recomended by Eric and i gotta say this is a great gun. Never owned a 1911 so Brian took the time to offer his expertise in stripping, cleaning and general upkeep without sparing any details. Overall VERY knowledgeable staff and MORE then happy to share knowlege with customers.100% would recommend!!!!

This place has many accessories others dont on top of their top notch guns! I walked in and was greeted immediately. I was there to purchase night sights for my gun and expected to wait. They took my pistol and immediately worked on it and had it out in no time at all. The entire staff was professional and knowledgeable, and the owner is the best. I was impressed, and it is not easy to impress me! Thank you Sharp Shooter!

Ive been to all the gun shops in town and can say I prefer these guys over the rest. Theyre a dedicated gun shop with knowledge staff who will work with you regardless of your current knowledge level. Their prices are slightly higher than their corporate competitors, but Ill spend that extra happily.My biggest complaint is the range. Unless they corrected the problem, you will be breathing in gun smoke for your entire session; but hey, thats an indoor range for you.

I originally had about 12 ladies to join me. The instructor Danny was generous enough to change a set class for a different day and time. He accommodated us although only two of us showed up! He was genuine and informative, gentle and encouraging. If you are a first time shooter, this is the place to be!!!!

Stopped by to pick up a handgun I ordered from Palmetto State Armory..... Bryan helped me out, dude was very knowledgeable and gave me straight up info about the guns they had in stock I ended up buying another gun from them at a really good price! Price matched the online price and gave me a military discount. Didnt feel like he was trying to make a sale just good old gun talk! Look forward to going back and supporting my local gun shop!

They tried to sign up to use our financing program. The contract had a forged signature. We caught it and called them for an explanation. The son who claimed to be half owner refused to send a copy of his ID let alone anything demonstrating he was an authorized signer on the business bank account. He admitted that he signed his fathers name and stated we either accept it like that or we dont do business. We elected not to do business. They then wrote slanderous reviews on BBB and google. On contracts the person signing must be who they state they are and use their own signature. According to the secretary of state, Debra is the authorized agent and we never spoke to or received any correspondence from her. We will not act as a lender with a company that isnt completely up front.

Last two times Ive gone to this establishment the customer service has been rude to the customer in front of me and me as well. They havent had anything Ive needed, ammo, magazines. Custom holster I bought here causes scratches on my gun and was over priced for the quality. I was hoping to build a relationship with a local place to give them my business but I guess its back to buying online.

I bought my first handgun at the Sharp Shooter and found the experience to be a great one. I was full of questions and an obvious newbie, but Christian was very patient and answered all of my questions without being condescending or arrogant. He spent a lot of time with me until I found the right handgun that felt comfortable to me. I have been back to the range several times and each time I have enjoyed my experience. No complaints yet!

Indoor range can get hot and stuffy. I have no idea if there is any ventilation. The guys there can be anywhere from awesome to rude. They are knowledgeable as many people that work at a gun shop. Prices are heavily inflated on all gear/guns. They try really hard to sell you what they have. Would not recommend purchasing anything from here. Buy your rounds/gear/guns elsewhere.
